I don't know why I keep trying to like Jimmy Johns. I went to one in the mid west and thought it was really good sandwiches but I guess I was just really hungry. Went when they first opened one in Severna Park, and was bummed. Bread is usually good, but it was so soggy I couldn't enjoy it, sandwich was room temperature and unappetizing. I made another trip later in the month, I suppose, having not learned my lesson the first time and was disappointed. My friend wanted to go, so I went ordered a beach club, same deal, just no flavor and soggy bread. I suppose if you like bland food you could easily make at home for cheaper, you'd like Jimmy Johns.

By far the best of the fast food sub shops. The bread is fantastic and they offer lettuce wraps. The Gargantuan is great if you're up for a big sub. I usually prefer the Bootlegger Club.

Enjoy food very much However disappointed in promise that delivery within 2 miles I live off of 648 from door to door exactly 1.9 miles. No delivery yet map shows delivery way further than 2 miles and passing right by my home. Thanks JJago

Worst service and attitude over stale bread, which makes or breaks a sub in my opinion. Owner has no clue about customer service and started arguing with me. Subs were horrible. I will never frequent this J J again.

Second time we have received the wrong sandwich at the drive through. Returned and they fixed the sandwich but offer no discount, no free sandwich, nothing. First time mess up no big deal, second time they remake the sandwich correctly but offer nothing. I ask do I get a discount or a free sandwich and the gentlemen just looks at me like I am nuts. I said thanks a lot buddy and drive off. I will not be returning to Jimmy Johns.

Customer service is fair, but the lack of non-meat alternatives are slightly disappointing (though this is a company wide issue, IMO). Their veggie (#8) sandwich is simply dull and flavorless, which is surprising since it has some decent fresh ingredients. The avocado spread is messy and bland at this location - basically does nothing but add a healthy fat to the sandwich. The decor is mildly entertaining and is around the small cramped booths - I suppose to old adage "smaller tables, equals shorter stays" works. On the plus side there is a drive through. JJ's chip options are different - my favorite is the jalapeno chip. 3 stars.

I found out at 930am that I needed to feed 46 people lunch today. I placed an online order with Jimmy Johns for an 11am pickup. The owner-operator, Jerry, called me immediately to confirm the order. JJ needs 2 hours to bake the bread and I was inside of that window. When I showed up at 11 the sandwiches were boxed up and ready to go. They were thoroughly enjoyed by 46 military members an hour later. Thanks to you Jerry and your hard working team!

typical sandwich chain, odd that there is not a Steak and Cheese on the menu. Love the fact that they serve the un-wich - a low carb sandwich alternative. Employees helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Fast service.

Former employee alert! I worked at this Jimmy John's as an in-shopper for 3 months during my summer break. I enjoy Jimmy John's for what it is: a simple sandwich shop. Nothing more, nothing less. All of the ingredients are extremely fresh with the exception of the avocado spread (it comes from a frozen baggie). Meat and cheese is all used within a 7 day period. The only cheese offered is provolone, so if you don't like provolone, sorry! The expected time for a sub to be ready is 30 seconds, hence the freaky fast. There are three employees who work on your sub; the bread person cuts the bread and puts mayo, tomatoes, and cucumbers on it (if they were requested or come on the sub), the meat puller grabs the meat that goes on whatever sandwich you ordered and puts the remainder of the veggies and spreads ordered on, and the consolidator who wraps it all up and calls out. They should be able to do all of that in 30 seconds! Mostly every employee is very chill and fun. I find it amazing that any Jimmy John's you walk into, the employees are quick to crack a smile and welcome customers. If you have a bad experience at a Jimmy John's I'd be sincerely astonished if it occurred again. The cleanliness of the restaurant cannot be questioned. The customer area, bathroom, and food prep areas get cleaned three times a day, with daily special duties throughout the week (like deck scrubbing). Jimmy John's is probably one of the cleanest restaurants that exists. There are rigorous hygiene standards held up behind the counter, so you don't have to worry about that. Quirks: We will not bag your food up for you if we're in a hurry. It isn't a prioritized task, so please don't be offended that you have to pick up a 20 gram paper bag and put your sub into it. We do not have milkshakes or fries. Every sub except for the tuna subs and slims comes with lettuce, tomato, and mayo. If you do not want these, please say so! All other veggies in any quantity are free. We do not have anything to put sides in, so they aren't available (like avocado on the side). We can offer mayo and mustard packets if you'd like some extra. Finally, you can't get anything extra on a slim, besides meat and/or cheese. It's a corporate policy, we can't do anything about it. That's why it's less expensive! Pro tip: I advise asking for "take bread out" on the club sandwiches - they'll take the bread out of the top of the roll and fill that with veggies, instead of trying to wedge them between the meat and cheese. I find it's way too hard to evenly eat a club sub without doing that, because the meat and cheese squeezes out. If you're worried about wasting the bread that's taken out, you can ask for it to snack on!

Terrible service. The employees never get the order right. Do not go there. It's a shame because the Annapolis JJ is great! Tonight's surprise was a BLT with NO LETTUCE! and no lettuce on the tuna sub either. When calling to speak to the "manager" we were asked to bring it back??? We don't live nearby and it's SNOWING out. Really? Don't waste your money here. Trust me
