So, what's good here? EVERYTHING. Another reviewer said the cornbread was undercooked. The cornbread is Deale Island cornbread not traditional cornbread and the consistency is just like that. And it's delicious. The baby back ribs are great, so is the half chicken, the green beans, the cole slaw the bread and the pies. If I came all the way from Baltimore, it must be good!

Alright first of all let me say the service was fine and the people working here seemed very nice, but I was completely shocked at how bad the food was! I had the combo chicken and country ribs platter. The "country ribs" was actually a pork chop. I understand country ribs are more similar to a pork chop than ribs, but it wasn't even cut into pieces. It wasn't similar, It was just an actual pork chop. But this is the least of the problems with the food i had... If it had been a delicious plain old pork chop I would have been totally satisfied, but the meat tasted strange! I don't know how they prepare their barbeque but it tasted bad, and there was no sauce on it to even cover the bad taste. The chicken quarter was awful as well. How do you mess up barbeque chicken??? The cornbread was extremely undercooked, like it had barely been cooked enough to become bread-like. The taste and consistency was closer to batter than bread... When I ordered I specifically asked if the sides were homemade, and I was told that they were. They tasted bland and canned to me. I ordered bread pudding because they said the deserts were all homemade. I can't tell you how the pudding was because I'm actually afraid to eat it...

I love the food here, it's absolutely delicious. The service is great, unless the owner is there. I'm not a "regular" and I usually feel very brushed aside when I go in and get waited on by the owner. Specific instance: I had called in a carry out order and was told ten minutes. I showed up 15 minutes later, stood in line for another 7 minutes to order a drink and pay, when it was finally my turn at the register I told her I was here to pick up my order she said "it's not ready" and immediately started helping the person behind me. So I can't order a drink and pay for my order now so that when it is ready I can just leave? Nope. In fact I had to get back in line and wait to pay when it was ready 5 minutes later. Rude.

Very disappointed. Service was fine but the food wasn't good. They were out of corn bread, the chicken was not that great and the "pork chop" was very dry.

Food was excellent. Both meals were hot and really good. Service would have been better had they given us a number when we ordered to put at our booth when we sat fInstead gal walks around asking everyone is this your food!?! Kinda strange.

This isn't BBQ. The pulled pork was more akin to a Sloppy Joe. All sauce with finely chopped pork. The beef brisket was sliced thin like deli roast beef and was dipped in sauce. No smoke flavor and I suspect it was just roasted in the oven. Fries were good, BBQ beans didn't have much flavor. Taylor's seemed to be popular with locals but if you can find other options, I'd suggest that you do. Staff is very friendly and the restaurant was clean.

Let's start by saying I have lived near this place for 10 years. I have walked in and out of it 3 times for not getting any service. There was nobody at the counter. Finally my wife stopped and picked us up some a few weeks ago. It's terrible. The Carolina pulled pork was dry and tasteless. The beef barbecue was over sauced. The chicken was dry. The nac and cheese was mushy. Not sure of it was an off night for them, but found it to be awful. Would not recommend or return.

On my way home from Ocean City, me and my wife and sister in law decided on BBQ for lunch. After looking on Yelp for the closest, one to us, we took a chance on Taylors BBQ. We were NOT disappointed. When we went in, there was a short line which was perfect for three people having no idea what to get. We stepped aside and started looking at the menu to have a very nice lady (The owner), come over and help us through the menu and even offer suggestions as to what to get. This sold us immediately. Being from Baltimore, you are usually just a number, not a guest. She made us feel very comfortable, and then we ordered. We are the types that want to try everything, so we got the whole rack of ribs meal, half chicken meal and the "sloppy mac and cheese" special that she suggested. We ordered, then sat down and waited maybe 10 minutes. The heaping pile of the PLUMPEST baby back ribs I have ever seen were brought to my table. Everything was delicious! The collard greens were cooked to perfection and the sloppy mac and cheese was awesome! We boxed up our remainders and decided on dessert (even though we were seriously stuffed). Once again, we were approached by the nice lady (I wish I caught her name, but I will when we INDEFINITELY return), and told us all of her desserts were homemade, and we decided on the chocolate pudding pie with graham cracker crust and cherry pie, both with homemade whipped cream as well. They were delish! I do however wonder if they offer al-a-mode, I didn't think to ask. In closing, me and my wife are in the restaurant industry, and customer service means A LOT in returning guests. In addition to the great food, it was GREAT service. We will see you next year!

I love their wings and their sauces. The counter employees are very friendly. I was disappointed with the potato salad, it was mushy and nasty. They used to have a delicious red potato salad. But I will still patronize them.
