Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

This place has some of the best pizza in Salisbury. Ordered a large cheese pizza, some breadsticks, and a birch beer...tastes delicious. Staff is always friendly.

Ponzetti's has the best pizza in Salisbury. They are hand-tossed, thin, greasy pies from heaven. If you don't like greasy pizza, this place may not be for you. But it's your loss. I can't speak for most of their subs. The cheese steak is not bad (but not the best) and I think I've had a pretty darn good turkey sub there before. But, really, I go there for the pizza. The place is like a NY pizza place; self-service. There is a good amount of seating, but you walk up to the counter to order and pay, then they call your name for you to pick up your food when ready. There's minimal interaction with the staff this way, which works well because, while they have never been rude, they have also never been upbeat and chipper (it's very much like a NY pizza place!) Pretty much like your standard fast food place (where they don't rely on tips). The prices are pretty standard. It's not a chain, so they don't offer 2 for $10 deals and the like, but neither do they inflate the prices, and the sizes are large enough. There's parking along the front and side of the building, which is usually plenty. They do deliver to a limited area, but I have never used that route and wouldn't recommend it to others. Just go in and pick it up if you want to take it home. Bottom line: This place has been around forever with little-to-no advertising (at least, not that I've seen), and I believe it has survived solely because of the pizza. I grew up with Ponzetti's pizza as a family favorite--and we didn't even live in Salisbury.

Ordered 2 Large Pizzas. Very good pies enjoyed by all of us. Good road stop.

I love their pizza. It is similar to Grotto's pizza in Delaware. Very good.

First time here, don't remember if I came here when I was growing up, but their subs were great. I got the pizzaburger sub and my girlfriend got the club. Fast tasted great. The pizzas smell good. Maybe next time we'll try one.

This place is just a few blocks from my house and has great pizza. Two larges and bread sticks for about $30. They also have a great club sandwich and fries for like $7 dollars. It's my go to for lunch out.

Place is worn and hot but the pizza is a nice change from bad version of NY style pies or Domino mass trash Thin crust with sweet sauces dr from scratch Perfect place to a large pie and eat in a booth with friends or family. Just wish they clean it up I mean the signage has to be over twenty years old

Good pizza fresh sauce and cheese, has a sweet taste to the sauce, cheese steak is huge but lacks alot of meat but its priced good for its size.

Got a large cheesesteak sub. First, it was two 12 inch subs, not one 24. A little harmless misconception. No big deal. But there was very little meat in the sub. Enough to eat the meat from each sub in one bite per sub. I know this because I opened them up and did so. I was very displeased with the whole lack of substance inside. The only thing plentiful was the amount of pepper they put on. It was covered.

Excellent pizza. I would recommend their pizza to anyone. Good crust. Plenty of cheese. Very tasty.

Been eating at Ponzetti's Pizza since I was a kid. Has to be the best pizza joint on the Eastern Shore. Fresh ingredients, friendly staff. I moved away from home years ago but everything I come back to visit, I have to stop at Ponzetti's and get a pizza pie before leaving town. I always recommend this spot to new folks in the area. Absolutely love it!

I have been eating at Ponzetti's since they opened in Salisbury. consistently great pizza. Best in the town. Might even beat all the pizza places in Ocean City. I currently drive over 3 hours to get to Salisbury to visit friends and family and Ponzettis is always my first stop. Reasonable prices. quick service. Great product
