LongHorn Steakhouse is a fairly generic chain steakhouse. The decor inside is very nice, but the food quality is on par with others in the area -- namely Outback and Texas Roadhouse. LongHorn is easily accessible from the Mall and is closer to US-50, so if you're headed to or from Ocean City along that route it's the best option for stopping. Their steaks were prepared exactly as requested and their sides are of a decent size as well. Overall I would recommend for anyone looking for a quality steak. Just don't expect a lot of bells and whistles.

The manager came to the table checking to see if everything was good. I told him "" that the food was perfect. The steaks which were sirloins was cook perfectly and full of flavor. Beautiful restaurant ". The complimentary birthday desert, was beatiful to look at and delicious tasting..The beautiful desert was set down on the table, an single light candle. I am not big on attention, so the birthday wishes to only be song by love one was heart felt. I recommend this restaurant, The best steakhouse in Salisbury Maryland, for the , best priced. The price is far below the quality for the fine food that is served. Beatiful restaurant.. Thank you Longhorns for the amazing food and perfect birthday dinner ! Janet Stillwell

I have not read any other reviews before writing this ..and.. I was impressed for my first time at Longhorn. Monday evening around 8, no wait, awesome food, quick service, nice ambience, great waitstaff. Medium-rare flatiron steak with stuffed portobello was so good.. not an ounce of fat, perfectly cooked. Trying to upload photos.

Completely scorched my Napa chicken on one side and deliberately tried to hide it by putting it face down. Wasn't supposed to crust on one side either. Completely black on the down side, if it was an attempt to encrust it, it would have been face up on plateCouldn't hardly cut through and so hard it made my knife slip and made a hard sound hitting the chicken against table. Had steak before and was great but if you can't cook chicken Im not sure if cooking is the job for you. If you go ask for tarkan or t.c . Very polite and warm server.

Absolutely amazing! This was a nice experience, so glad we decided to go. A tad pricy but well worth it. I'd go more if I could afford it. The Firecracker chicken appetizer was delicious (I found a recipe online and duplicated it) there's was definitely better. Get the steak sauce made table side it's really good. Waiter was awesome. If I had one complaint it's that the fillet on the porter house was a tad small. But it was delicious.

Horrible service. Waited forever just to get the drink order. Salads took forever, then we had to wait for our dinners....two dinners came out with no offer for ketchup for fries or burger. After about 10 minutes we flagged down the manager and asked for ketchup and the other two meals. Still no waitress. ...after a long wait, and by the time the burger was cold and the other meal gone one more plate came out. Finally the manager brought out the last plate with a slight apology. When it was clear we weren't going to excuse the bad service with an "it's ok" he offered a complementary dessert. That MAY have been ok, but the dessert was never followed up at the end of the meal and he never came around again. So, no desserts, no discount on the bill, and there will be no return visit. Wish I had spent our money somewhere else. Worst service EVER!!!

We were on vacation and we saw Longhorn Steakhouse from the freeway and decided to check it out. We had never heard of this restaurant. Our waitress Christina was a darling, so nice, friendly, sociable, professional, fast and efficient. The Rib Eye Steak and Stuffed Mashed Potatoes were delicious. I loved the complimentary bread rolls. My husband loved the Salmon dish because it was so flaky, flavorful and a big portion size. We loved the interior design with the saddles on the wall and the total Texas Steakhouse motif. The bathrooms and restaurant were very clean which is a big indication of the condition in the kitchen; according to the television chefs. We highly recommend this restaurant. You won't be disappointed in the Rib Eye Steak.

This is a chain steakhouse. You can never expect the world. They don't even serve prime beef, but none of the other midpricepoint chains do either. The sides were sides, does it really matter? The service was slow but adequate. The "western theme"? Who cares! Let's talk steak! I ordered med rare and my companion ordered medium well(filets of course). Two words, PRESSED STEAK! This is what happens when lazy cooks can't grill a piece of meat at a proper temperature for the proper period of time. They simply smash the steak on the grill. Does this make a steak cook faster? Sure. Is it incomprehensible that a steakhouse of ANY ilk perform dastardly and lazy tactic? A resounding YES! Even mine, which literally takes 5-7 minutes to grill, was smashed. This is simply unacceptable. The pricepoint is $1-3 cheaper for the highend cuts than the other chains. But be aware, choose a steak from the window as you walk in, if at all possible, because the cuts that were served to us were slightly smaller. After now sampling all the chains, Outback is the only chain that hasn't smashed a steak. I haven't yet been able to figure out why that is, but at least to this point I can count on it. Do yourself a favor and skip Drunk Uncle Vic's Grill-over(he presses steaks too), it's just not worth it.

Food was okay - rib eye was better than the sirloin, which tasted heavily of liver. The baked potato was great, as was salad and green beans. their wheat crusty bread rolls are also really good. The service was just okay - not super friendly - but we feel they outdo the Outback Steakhouse we frequent in Alexandria - except for the Sirloin tasting of liver.

Welp we hadnt ever heard anything good about Longhorn but we had a gift card and figured we'd try ourselves.. fail. There was a 10min wait, no biggie. We were seated and after a min or so our waitress arrived for drink orders. Service was very prompt. We ordered an app and meal at same time. The app and a salad arrived at same time the chilli chease fries were ok but had maybe 2 spoonfuls of chilli. Salad was good albeit a lot of dressing. My order was the ranchers burger with mac and cheese. Burger was a reheated frozen patti and the sauce tasted like a crazy salty brown gravy. Mac and cheese was ok but super greasy. My gf ordered napa grilled chicken. Which was good except the artichoke hearts tasted like they came out of a pickle jar and tossed on still cold. And a baked potato. Overall: nice atmosphere, good service, awful food. I won't go back like other restaurants in the same strip, overpriced, heated up frozen mediocre food.

We tried it last night for the first time. Food was not good, service was mediocre. I ordered fried shrimp, which was inedible. In addition, what originally appeared to be ice in the bottom of my glass was, in fact, a large piece of plastic wrap. (They could not explain where that came from. When I unrolled the napkin to get out the silverware, there was a large black spot/stain on the inside of the napkin. My husband's plate had a long string of something(not sure what) hanging off of it when the waiter brought it to the table. The waiter said "it might be cheese." He had a steak, and baked potato, neither with cheese! They were kind enough to comp our meal, but even free couldn't make it good. We won't be going back.

Food was good...not great...I would stop again if it were convenient but I would not go out of my way.

If it was possible to give less than a one we would. We were seated right away for dinner. However, the manager (or regional manager) was having a meeting across the restaurant & was so loud he was annoying. We ordered the lobster & shrimp dip - it hardly had any lobster and it was clear the shrimp were from a can. Awful. Our steaks were not up to par and had a rubbery texture. I had the filet stuffed with crab. It had way too much fat for a $30 filet. My boyfriend had the same issue with his steak. Looking back I wish we had sent them back and left. We both felt ill the rest of the night.

You would think that a chain steakhouse restaurant would be able to get steaks right. Well, this one missed the mark for us. We arrived at about 5:30 on a Saturday and had about a 25 minute wait. Once seated our waiter did an adequate job of serving. We ordered a New York strip (medium rare) and a filet mignon (medium well). I am used to filets being small, thick steaks. This one was extremely thin and came out very overcooked and dry. We sent it back and the second one came out overcooked as well, but not as dry. Not wanting to wait longer my wife accepted it. The strip was cooked close to as ordered, but did have more gristle than I would expect to see in a strip. I will give Longhorn credit for doing the right thing - they deducted the cost of the filet and recognized that they overcooked it twice. The salad was acceptable and the vegetables (steamed vegetables and baked potato) were up to snuff. The decor is nice; the noise level is a little high, but tolerable. Our overall experience was mediocre. Based on this visit there are better choices in the area.

This Longhorn is horrible. I ordered a ribeye and asked for it to be prepared medium well. When the server brought it to me it looked like it was cooked correctly. Once I cut into it and ate about 3 bites of it I discovered that it was burnt horribly. The kitchen flipped the burned side so it was facing the bottom of the plate and the not burnt side was showing. Once the server came back and asked how everything was I told her that it was not cooked like I asked. The manager came over and looked at it and said "that's how a medium well steak is supposed to look" I had to flip it over and show him that was not medium well. They did not offer to correct the issue but instead tried to place the blame on me for ordering a steak that was apparently to complicated to prepare. Seriously it's not hard to prepare a steak medium well. After about 5 minutes of unnecessary conversation with the manager and having to threaten to call Darden's Corporate office, he reluctantly remove it from our bill. Word of advice if you want a good steak--- go elsewhere cuz you won't get it here.

It's a nice place inside, Western-themed decor and paintings on the walls, huge mounted steer head above the bar. My ribeye was seasoned deliciously, but the fare is really just passable in my experience.

My husband, daughter and I went to dinner last night here for the first time. We were seated quickly, although we had to ask for a different seat because the hostess was trying to seat us like "ducks in a row" with the other 2 tables of patrons and I could tell they were going to be loud. The hostess was friendly and didn't have a problem with it. Louis was our server and he wasn't the most outgoing guy but competent. The decor was nice. Multiple staff was sitting at various tables eating large quantities of food themselves. One guy had a triple slice of cheesecake with various toppings and another had a double cheeseburger with a couple of sides. Wonder what this restaurant's losing on this kind of indulgence? On to our food.....we ordered the pretzels and shrimp and lobster dip - both were delicious. My husband ordered a new york strip and ordered it medium - it was basically well done, very little pink at all. And it just looked sort of brown on the outside, wasn't seared nicely or anything. And was extremely overly seasoned to try to make up for being a cheap steak? The amount of black pepper was insane on this piece of meat. I have honestly tasted much better steaks from Golden Corral. NOT what we were expecting from a steakhouse. I ordered the mac and cheese, which had bacon in it - wayyyy too much cheese, and I LOVE cheese and have never made that complaint before. I also ordered the Parmesan crusted chicken. While the chicken itself was very tasty and well cooked, it was COVERED in what was nothing but melted cheese.....there was no "crust" ---it was literally like someone had just taken 2 pieces of decent chicken and dumped a half a pound of cheese on it and stuck it under the broiler for a minute. We had waited to try this restaurant due to the poor reviews and now I know why. We won't be back.

Monday evening around 8, no wait, awesome food, quick service, nice ambience, great waitstaff. Medium-rare flatiron steak with stuffed portobello was so good.. not an ounce of fat, perfectly cooked. Trying to upload photos.

Steaks were cooked as order. Our waitress Shannon rock she was awesome.Beats the competition hands down

All the staff were polite, and accommodating. Every dish was prepared perfectly. Try the crab, and artichoke dip!! The bathrooms were clean.

We have been there twice and both times the food was amazing. First time we had a great waitress, second time not as good. Never had to wait for a table. We will definitely go back.

In a town with about 5 steakhouses this is the worst. I have been 3 times and that's a few times to many. Food is awful and overpriced. Would never return.

6 stars ! My fiance and I ate here on my birthday October 30. I had used yelp, for restaurants. because we are from Louisville Ky. I typed in best steak for the best price. It showed Longhorns Steakhouse, N. Salisbury Maryland. The restaurant was beautiful inside. The waitress, was very pleasant. Our salads and bread were delicious. Now for the steaks and sides. Our steaks were cook perfect. The sides were wonderful. My fiance, mentioned to the waitress, it was my birthday. It was the perfect ending to the dinner. An delightful desert served with a single candle. My finance, song me happy birthday. It was so sweet. It was an perfect dinner and an beautiful night. !

The steaks here are NOT very good. We go to the own in Germantown MD and love the steak there. It just goes to show, whose in the kitchen and manages the places makes a big difference! Skip this one.

Stopped here for a quick lunch on my travels. I was greeted with a warm welcome. I sat at the bar and ordered one of the lunch specials. The bar tender was excellent. Checked on me at all of the right times, she was very efficent & wanting to please. The restaurant was pretty empty.

(1)Kevin C.
