A Salisbury gem for unique and classy food in a friendly atmosphere! Love the crabcake melt on English muffins! Wow! Great deserts and nice accommodations for parties of any size. If you're going nuts then come here too relax at the harbor restaurant and you WILL feel better !

Nice selection of dishes, many of which are very reasonably priced (the "Lighter Fare" menu items). Quality can be a bit spotty - some days are better than others. Usually able to be seated right away, even on Sunday afternoons and Saturday evenings.

Husband and I consider this one of our favorite local restaurants. The restaurant's decor has an island theme (palm trees, Matisse prints, Hawaiian print shirts) that is kind of cheesy. The decorations are all a bit sad and worn out, and the lace cafe curtains that separate the dining area from the kitchen have yellowed after years of use. That said, there are always beautiful fresh flowers placed on the tables and used to garnish the food. Add to this that my husband and I (28 and 30) are usually much younger than the majority of the other diners, and the environment can seem a little awkward. That being said, the staff is always incredibly friendly and helpful, and we have never had to wait for a table, even on nights when they were clearly very busy. The menu is substantial and packed with quite a variety of foods with something for everyone. They have at least a page each for entrees and sandwiches, and quite a few appetizers. The portion sizes on the entrees are rather large, but there is a light fare menu with more reasonable portions. The house salad dressing is quite good and the jerk chicken appetizer is fantastic. The California Melt sandwich is divine (best guacamole I've ever had) but ask them to go light on the sprouts. My husband insists that they have the best prime rib in town and orders it every time we go. I also love the broiled flounder they occasionally have on special and the shrimp with angel hair pasta (although once or twice these have had a bit too much butter in them). Their crab cakes are also quite good. Be sure to save enough room for dessert and ask them to bring out the dessert tray. They have fresh cakes/pies/etc brought in daily from Desserts by Rita. If you've eaten too much, they'll pack it up for you to go. Price wise, they're reasonable for the great portion sizes and good service. If it weren't for some overuse of butter in a few entrees and the general worn-out condition of the decor, I'd give Goin' Nuts a 5 star rating.

I stick with the Blackened Prime Rib or the Curried Honey Shrimp. I have never gotten a bad one of either of those. Prime Rib is always decent and the cajun blackening seasoning adds a nice kick. The Curried Honey Shrimp have a sweetness to them from the honey which is mixed with the curry spice to produce something pleasant, but one of a kind. The Broccoli Tempura appetizer is very good, as well. I don't really go out on a limb and order anything else. I've tasted my fellow diners entrees but always believed mine were decidedly better. The Desserts by Rita are simply divine.

If you look up funky in the Urban Dictionary, there's a good chance you'll find one definition to be Goin Nuts Cafe. This is one of the most un-average average restaurants I've enjoyed. It's old school eclectic. It's been family-owned for close to thirty years and everyone makes you feel like you're family the moment you enter a world that can't decide if it's Hawaian, surf-city, or simply a melange of a world far, far away from Salisbury, MD. The menu is somewhat reflective of the decor's confusion. It contains too many different cuisines and is a bit uneven. However, don't stay away from the prime rib, whether it is a full slab for dinner or a sandwich for lunch. The soups are housemade and not oversalted, which was a welcome relief from the oversalted slop passed along as soup in so many restaurants these days. I like Goin Nuts Cafe quite a bit. The folks are nice. The cuisine haute funk. Most of the food tasty and well-cooked.

Favorite "go to" place. Good food, good people, local folks. Twenty one years is quite an accomplishment for a local restaurant and speaks to the great job they do.

The service was decent but the food and decor fairly uninspired.

This place is just ok. The crab cake was disapointing and the other items on my seafood platter weren't anything to write home about. I was invited by locals that eat there weekly and they really enjoy everything there. I would not return, personally. Friendly service and clean establishment but taste/quality was lacking.

Employees are very courteous and friendly everytime I visit. The food is wonderful. They give you generous portions.

The food was awful. I've never seen an artichoke, spinach crab dip like that in all my life. It had crab shells in it and was dry and hard! The owner refused to exchange it or offer a refund. This was the biggest waste of $50 I've spent in a long time. However, the waitress was nice and I gave her a good tip-- not her fault. I will never go back and would advise all others not to waste their time or hard earned dollars on such a place.

Probably one of the best prime rib sandwiches I've ever eaten. The au jus is perfectly seasoned and the bread is so soft and yummy- even better, it's not shaved!!! It's a true cut, nothing skimpy except the side of (Ruffles?) chips that comes with it. However, the sandwich is so good, you won't care about the chips and pickle spear. I had a bite of my husband's crab cake sandwich, it was definitely something to write home about sans the chips and pickle spear. They're also kid-friendly!

I am giving one star as the waiter was great. All else fell short. Pizza dough was not cooked and nothing done or even said when pointed out. Burgers had too much bread and no taste. Came in hungry and didn't finish anything at our table accept for the salad. Old and outdated and expensive too. My first bad review on yelp.

Had a wonderful New Years Eve dinner here. The prime rib was excellent as was the baked potato and French on in soup. As usual the service and drink pouring was superior.

I had the opportunity to dine here for lunch. The staff was very personable and attentive. I would like to go back to see what the dinner time atmosphere consist of. I enjoyed the Prime Rib sandwhich although the side of chips left much to be desired it was a great sandwich.

The bar is outstanding. The restaurant decor is old and tired. In 2014, The food didn't impress me either however, fifteen years ago it was great. I had my rehearsal dinner here.

The food and service were alright. The atmosphere was that of a neighborhood bar. I'll try it again in the future.
