Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

I was at this eatery with a colleague for lunch and had the jerk chicken. The service and food were well above expectation.

My husband and I had dinner here this evening and it was sort of a mixed bag. The burgers were well cooked and tasty, which was a big plus. The atmosphere was not too hectic (unlike some burger joints where you can't hear the person in the booth next to you), which was also a plus. There were, however, some downsides. The fries were just ok. The restaurant was a bit on the warm side, like the ac couldn't keep up. The straws were too short for the cups and nearly sank below the top of the drink. For reasons surpassing understanding, this burger joint doesn't have milk shakes! The menu has a weird price structure. Unlike other places that offer different burgers with different names, this place offers 4 difference sized burgers, with ascending prices...and then you choose a toppings set which is also a price upgrade of $2-$3...and then you choose chips or fries which is yet another price upgrade of $2-$3(which I think is ridiculous, my $8 burger should have included fries). This ends up in a rather pricey stop at a burger joint that cost me and my husband $30 for two burgers (one 1/4lb and one 1/2) and two cups of iced tea. So, the burgers were good and the atmosphere was decent, but mostly because of the overpricing, I doubt we'll be back.

In my ongoing quest to find good local dining, we decided to get some take out here last night. The husband was in a pizza kind of mood, so he ordered a meat lovers pizza. The pizza had a scant amount of sauce - which was really obvious when we opened the box. To the point I asked "Did they forget to put sauce on here?" There was a good amount of meat on the pizza, so that's a positive. When I asked him how it was his response was, "Umm. doughy." And when o took a bite, I understood. The pizza seemed undercooked and the dough under the toppings was indeed, a soft mush. I ordered Old Bay wings and they were fantastic. Really big, and well seasoned. I don't have a bad thing to say about them. Really reasonable price too, for the quality. I also got an order of onion rings- which were good, but some were so overcooked they were inedible. I will go back, but probably skip the pizza.

Recently had lunch from here. It was a disappointment. My grilled portobello sandwich was served on under toasted bread which was soggy. The portobello was flattened and burnt. It looked like it had been thrown on a griddle and smashed down several times with a spatula. No seasoning with a rubbery consistency. The chips that came with it were also burnt and tasted like they had been made in a fryer with old oil. My friend got a salad-the lettuce was brown and wilted. She also got wings which had a long hair in them. I really cannot recommend this to anyone.
