Love it, they have great products and employees however they need more tables and chairs

The exterior was renovated, but inside it's still a run-of-the-mill Starbucks, dark and a little drab. The water fountain to cover up the traffic sound and Christmas-ish lights on the new patio are a nice touch. BUT the patio is completely in the shade in the afternoon, so too cold to use the patio November-April. Overall I still prefer the "Downtown Crown" Gaithersburg location. Nice sunny patio, fast Internet via Google, comfy banquets, and clover coffee.

Love the outside seating but the service is horrible. First time, I ordered soy green matcha frap. I saw the barista using the blender labeled dairy as he was making my drink. When he gave me my drink, I asked him if he used soy and he simply answered "Yes, green tea". I took a sip of my drink and after the first sip, I knew it wasnt soy. I returned it and told them that it didnt taste like soy milk and he used the dairy blender. Im lactose intolerant so I need to be certain. They made me another drink and this time, I was watching them make my drink like a hawk. Second time, I ordered same drink, ordered a caramel frap for my friend and specifically told them no whip. I was again watching them if they used soy. Thankfully they did but messed up my friend's drink for putting whip on it. During that visit, I witnessed them make several mistakes with other customers. They seem to not pay attention. Horrible.

Ginger and her staff are great! I have been a regular there for over 5 years - they get my order exactly right every time. The outdoor renovations are an added plus to the atmosphere of this location. Enjoy!

Nice refuge on a hot summer day for cold bottled water, iced lattes, and AC! Picked up a bottle of water and an Grande iced triple shot latte. Latte was strong and delicious! I sucked it down wayyy to fast! On the small side seating-wise.

Who doesnt like a good cup of coffee? I do and I love this location brcause it has such a cozy ambience. The baristas are always friendly and the coffee tastes great. The only downside is that there are not too many places to seat.

The cashier was the dumbest human being to have ever walked on this planet earth. Followed close behind by her giggling friend, the barista. They could not figure out how to make a coffee or work a register until a manager explained how to push buttons. Then, they overcharged me $20, made my drink wrong, and continued to giggle their incompetence. Why would you deserve $15 an hour if you can't figure out how to count on your fingers and push buttons?

The exterior of this Starbucks was recently renovated to go with the new Pike & Rose development nearby. It has great outdoor seating now. It's about a block from white flint metro station. There's still some construction going on nearby, but it should be wrapping up soon.

I come to this Starbucks several times a week as I am a resident of Pike & Rose. I ca say with certainty that this is one of the worst Starbucks I've ever been to. The morning crew is rude - but the evening crew is worse. They like to start closing up very very early. I stopped in at 7:15pm today and was unable to order a sandwich because the oven was already cleaned and turned off for the night. That 7:15pm? The store closes at 9pm! I used to manage a Starbucks in South Florida and I never allowed my crew to turn things off so early. I won't be returning to this location and I know that many of my fellow Pike & Rose neighbors feel the same.

If you want your drink fast, this is the place to go. Rockville pike Starbucks are always packed, this place can too, but its still faster than all the rest. It is small, doesn't bother me. Is it dirty? To be honest, I haven't noticed in all the 8 years I've been coming here. I will try and pay better attention and write an update. The staff knows me and is polite but not as nice as I'd expect. The Starbucks I go to by my job knows what I drink and asks how my tendonitis is doing. You won't get that here. Feels like the seating area is always semi packed here. I once sat at a table where two ppl can sit and it was all that was available. A guy had his laptop bag on one of the seats (he was out on the phone or for a smoke), I was sure he wouldn't mind sharing with a nice young lady like myself, WRONG. He came back and was mortally offended and prolly put some voodoo curse on me. I made sure to make a scene, said something along the lines "you're not a gentleman, I don't see your name written on the seat you weren't using..." He was a middle aged bitter man, Smh. People in Rockville sometimes get on my last nerve, they swear they own everything.

This is one of the dirtiest Starbucks I've ever visited. On most days you will be greeted by faint but noticeable sour smell as you walk in the door. Sadly, I remember a time when that wasn't the case. You see, I was there that fateful day when someone dropped an entire venti latte on the doormat. I was also there the next day, when it had failed to be cleaned, and the next day, and the next after that. The mat absorbed the latte like a sponge and kept it's sour secret for more than a year before they replaced it, but by that time, the smell had been absorbed into the very foundation of the store. An immortal curse. A warning to future patrons. This used to be my go-to Starbucks when I lived a much faster life. If you just want to get in and get out, this is the best Starbucks on the pike. You can usually find parking right up front and don't have to deal with the strip-mall parking lot hassles synonymous with the Rockville Pike. Unfortunately, the disregard for cleanliness eventually got me. Even beyond the cursed milk incident, I've experienced the outdoor trash cans overflowing with garbage lined up on the back wall. The same wall you wait along for your drink to be prepared.... This is a 2-star sympathy review. It's the smallest and lamest Starbucks on the pike, so they get all the staff rejects from the other stores. Without a drive-through Starbucks on the pike, the speed of this store is it's saving grace. Poor Mid-Pike... cursed by sour milk! Oh yeah, I met MD Lt. Governor Michael Steele here when he was campaigning for Governor. His campaign bus used to stop here each morning before they hit the trail.

I'm a fan because it's a good place to get some reading done on a Sunday afternoon -- and usually free wifi would be a bummer, but since I needed to get stuff done it was a welcome break from distraction. The baristas were nice, I felt totally comfortable setting up with my homework and studying for a few hours, and the music wasn't too loud. There was a steady stream of people, but it never really got crowded. I mean -- it's a Starbucks. I gave it four stars because it's exactly what a Starbucks should be: clean, reliable, coffee place.

A high volume Starbucks, so they tend to know what they're doing. The line may be longish but it will go fast. Since it's attached to Barnes and Noble it's a great place to meet up with someone and hang out. They recently updated the interior, so it looks nice. There are lots of chairs and tables although they are often full. Parking can be a little bit painful, the lot gets really full but there is plenty of parking, it's just not always nearby. One of the best Starbucks' on Rockville Pike (rivaling Wintergreen Plaza). *was recently alerted that my review was for the wrong location - this review is in reference to the Montrose Crossing location, not the Mid-Pike Plaza location. The Mid-Pike location (this one) is ok, easier to get in and out of than Montrose, but not quite as efficient a staff. Sometimes seems a little dirty too.

Normal Starbucks, but the shopping center is on busy rockville pike no drive thru and under going a huge renovation, the shopping center that is. Small dining area, but lots of parking

Best Starbuck's on Rockville Pike in the N. Bethesda/Rockville area! They are a well oiled machine, friendly, competent, and the coffee is always fresh (probably because of the high turnover). I am basing this review on coffee only since I hate waiting for my 6 pump soy skinny pumpkin caramel macchiato with extra sea foam sprinkle bits. I have only sat in the shop once and it was nice. A bit loud so not great for studying but great for eavesdropping and web surfing.

Trust me, this is the darkest and dingiest Starbucks. Yes, I go here out because I am addicted to coffee and it is near my house, BUT, i hate it. The line is always long, the milk and sugar area is dirty with spilled coffee and wet sugar packets, the glass case is smeared with fingerprints and the staff is never friendly. The outdoor seating area is like walking through that little room at the airport with all the smokers in it...smelly, smokey , and just icky. This is my favorite part...when you wait for your drink (which now takes longer so we don't mistake Sbux for McCafe) you either choose to wait in the hall to the bathroom or right by someone sitting. Think a moment...yes, you are now sitting here looking directly at someone's crotch if you have had to sit at this possibly ill-fated table. So, it is a Starbucks, but it she is like that blind date that you went on to avoid going to a New Year's Eve party alone...she is there when you need her...
