I started coming to Java Mammas in 2006. They recently moved to a new, larger location. I have gotten hot/cold drinks here, along with food. It is a much more homely type spot vs. the corporate feel of a Starbucks. THE GOOD... -easy to park in private lot area -cafe sandwiches are good -drinks are good, especially during the winter holidays -plenty of seating -complimentary self-service water cooler THE BAD... -the use of styrofoam cups kinda negates the earth-friendly vibes Java Mammas gives off -took away the couches from the previous location...a new couch or two would have been nice -need more vegetarian/vegan food options on menu Overall I do like going to Java's...it is a quaint little spot that typically has consistent service. I find the good outweighs the bad...however, definite opportunities though to make it even better.

First of all, the cute little cozy house turned coffee shop is EVERYTHING. Decent food options for a pescatarian but who cares when they have a million beverage options.

Great local coffee shop that actually makes coffee to compete with Starbucks. Good breakfast too!!!! Try the breakfast burrito - my favorite. Scones and muffins too.

I really love the atmosphere of Java Mamma's since they remodeled. I find the blue color scheme to be very pleasant, and I think the decision to move the coffee bar creates more room for people to place their orders, which is a relief. I actually used to come here when I was in high school to see friends participate in Open Mic Nights, and I can say firsthand that Java Mamma's has come a long way in the last 5-10 years. I came in today (Sunday) on a whim after a meeting got pushed back. I was surprised at how crowded it was--each table was taken and the line was pretty long. Unlike before, it's more of a Sunday lunch/ brunch spot, whereas it used to be mostly just a coffee stop. The staff seemed pretty overwhelmed, and I did have to wait for quite some time before I could place an order. I got an iced coffee with white chocolate syrup, and it took a little while for them to get it to me. I didn't mind too much--the staff were pleasant, and genuinely tied up with all of the orders that were coming in. That being said, all the food I was able to witness leaving the kitchen while I waited in line looked delicious. I would love to come back here for a brunch outing one day. The atmosphere is pleasant and jovial-- I just don't recommend stopping in on the weekend if you are in a hurry!

Great food. Good atmosphere. Soup of the day was chili. It had a great stock with a variety vegetables.

We really like this place. Atmosphere is great and the owners really like to decorate. So glad they moved to a bigger spot. Great coffee and the breakfast and sandwiches are yummy, fresh and always MTO! Love the fact they have other businesses products (iced gems) for sale. Way to support local. We love to come here on the weekends. Also, Really enjoyed the trio that we saw play at the old place, not sure if they still play at the new.
