Came here for lunch after reading the reviews, figured it would be good. Unfortunately, it wasn't. The place has decent parking but a drive thru type layout. Inside was fairly clean, easy enough layout and instructions for how to order. Buffet style "soul" food layout. Only a few people inside waiting for their orders so after reading the instructions, I stepped up to order. At first I thought the manchild at the register was retarded, literally, he just stared blankly at me while breathing through his mouth heavily. I asked if I could place my order, he grunts and kinda nods, I figure what the hell here goes nothing. Can I get a fruit salad and a 10 piece honey wings? Grunts, breath, breath, shuffle, shuffle $10.06 Holy balls the moron can speak. Thanks bud, you take care. Count my change and I'm out the door. Get back to work and sit down to eat. The wings were dry and half were overcooked. Like burned through, you saw this when you pulled them, why wouldn't you throw that shit away? So half were ate, flavors not terrible, not great but edible. The other half I chewed and spit out. Next came the fruit salad. It is hot as hell out right now so I was really looking forward to a cold fruit salad and as soon as I opened it I saw mold. They serve these in clear plastic containers. I took a picture of it and returned it An older gentleman who was polite saw me come back in and asked if I wanted a new one. I promptly declined and asked for a refund. The older gentleman told the register retard to refund my money which he did while mumbling something to me. Idk what he said nor do I care. I do not plan on returning and I'm not at all sure what the other positive reviews were about. Maybe they were meant for the other chicken n fish place right next door. Also it's cash only.

This place is so-so. The staff is not friendly at all. They don't speak and act impatient. Their western fries, fish, and chicken are good. Their shrimp and crab cakes no so much. I think they have the best western fries around. They aren't too thick and they are seasoned really well and taste great with hot sauce and ketchup on them. Same goes for the chicken and fish. I have had better tasting wings, but the fish is really good. Oh, the half and half is pretty good as well. The crab cakes taste sour and I tried them twice just to make sure I didn't get a bad one a week earlier....but it still taste sour. The shrimp has too much breading on them.

I actually love the food here it taste fresh cooked and not cooked over. the only thing is the last time I went they didn't except plastic and I don't carry cash but I give them 5 stars because the food is fresh cooked and it tastes it:)

The half and half is really good. I get a fried trout with fries box and drench them in hot sauce and shake it up to saturate everything in spicy goodness. I don't usually eat fried food but this place has delicious fried food and its worth it.

I came her on my lunch break and decided that actually get the crab cake meal. The crab cake was really good. I also got Mac and cheese which was really good. The sweet potatoes were okay but a little to sweet. The half and half was on point. I was impressed. I would go back. Crab cake meal was $7.99 not including the drink.

Too expensive to have such Unfriendly service and mediocre food. Crab cake was worst I've ever had.

If you haven't read my earlier reviews, well, as a result of the HBO series, the Wire; I'm on the hunt for the best in Baltimore phenomenon, LAKE TROUT. It seems that I can't even find the true definition of what exactly is considered Baltimore's fried Lake Trout. With that said, I love fried foods--america's comfort food! You should know that I also LOVE fried chicken. Tipped off by a neighbor that Randallstown and vicinity was jammed packed with chicken and fish joints, my wingman and I set out on a mission to stop at every joint we saw and compare/contrast the fare. While technically not in the "City", I deemed it close enough to B-more to be authentic. CnT looks like a fast food place that got converted to a hometown favorite. Their neon sign is a little plain but prominent; you be hard to miss it. Parking is ample being in the 'burbs and feels fairly secure--inside and out. Being a non-native of B-more, safety and the general feeling of safety while I eat is important...after all, I don't want to reinvent the definition of "Dine and Dash". The dining area is fairly large and tidy, however, not spic and span. They have a hot lamp display with their fairly broad selection of wares. So, in order to save space for a second and possibly third order later, my wingman and I shared a trout and wing platter and also a smoke sausage. All for under ten bucks. The fish was made to order and fried to perfection. The meat was flaky and fresh tasting; the batter was a light flour dusting and not overwhelming but a bit bland and needed to be spruced up with some ketchup or hot sauce (which we used) . The fish came in huge ample proportions. Definitely felt like I got what I paid for in the fish department. The fried chicken wings were a complete waste of time and money, since they plucked out from under the hot lamp and were probably sitting way too long. Ditto the fries; yet another item a waste of time. The big winner was the smoked sausage, dressed with mustard, which was completely delicious and had me craving for a second sandwich. The funny thing was the clerk acknowledged that we wanted sauerkraut on the sausage but none was provided. Not sure if he completely understood the English language. However, he looked to be the proprietor, and a smart one at that, so I doubt that he had any items on his menu confused. All in all, the fish and sausage are great base menu items but the accoutrement for a good meal may be lacking. A recommend but not strong recommend because I might be slightly more inclined to go down the street to a competitor.
