I really like their spaghetti and meatballs. The pizza is also very good. The interior is very decorated and satisfying since it reflects New York and I like NY. Not many customers at one time. They can split the bill between two people. This is one of the pizza places I really like. Can't wait to visit Broadway Pizza some other time!

Look for their day of the week specials on the back of their menu, along with their lunch specials. Today, I ordered a slice of pepperoni pizza, broadway fries to share, and a bowl of chili. When I asked the server (very nice and polite) if their brewed tea was sweetened, she said no, and that I would have to use the sugar packets. I said it wasn't the same, and with a smile, she offered me the bottled sweet tea option and went to the fridge and brought it to my table. I also liked that she came back with a cup of ice for me to pour my tea in. The slice of pizza was generous and very delicious. It was not greasy at all. The fries were pretty good too, but they only seasoned one spot, not the whole plate. However, the temperature of the chili wasn't consistent (hot on the top, almost room temp on the bottom) and I told this to our server, who apologized, and took it off my bill. Other than that, I will be back for the pizza and fries.

Broadway Pizza is not accommodating. My daughters told me about a terrible experience this weekend with their end of the year soccer celebration. The staff would not even consider offering a separate check for two salads, even though the group spent a large sum of money. I would not recommend this restaurant when there are many other local options. Customer service is the key to success.

This is a store-front pizza joint in a suburban strip mall, nothing special. The pizza is decent, the prices are reasonable and in-house service is agreeable. If you call ahead for take-out, your pizza will be on time. I've seen customers order something than pizza, a side salad and a drink (including beer) but I can't imagine why. This isn't a restaurant that also serves pizza. This is a pizza joint which also happens to serve a few other items. Be wise: go with the specialty--or go elsewhere.

I've popped into this store on several occasions. I usually grab a slice at lunch to go however I have dined in as well and sat on the outdoor patio. The service is always friendly and super fast. I've only ever waited at most a couple of minutes for my order. The pizza is really good. I limit myself to one slice because it's a pretty decent sized jumbo slice. I need to get a whole pizza one day. The slice of cheese is $2.64 (including tax) so you can't beat the price for a filling lunch. I would recommend this place if you like pizza.

Pretty good pizza. Come here after work sometimes. A tad pricy though and don't offer pizza specials I don't think. Keep it up.

Been going here since I was in the single digits and the pizza has never changed from insanely delicious.

The trick with these guys is getting the right balance of cheese / sauce. 2 weeks ago I ordered two pizzas from them, I asked to go light on the cheese and a little extra on the sauce (not two much, but more than normal). The pizza was excellent although it could have used just a little more cheese (pizza margherita without the fresh moz). Last night we ordered the exact same pizzas. This time I said to go medium on the cheese / sauce -- not too heavy and not to light. What we got was nasty -- literally half an inch of oily mozzarella. To be honest it was pretty nasty. Would be great if they could stick to how they made the pie the first time we ordered. On a last note: the dough is great, light but crispy -- good stuff.

This place is great. Friendly atmosphere. The manager is a real down to earth guy and all of the cashiers are pretty relaxed. I once tipped on a pick up and the dude was like "whoa man, thanks but no thanks" I still tipped but I appreciated them being cool about the whole thing. I'm a pretty boring dude so I always get cheese pizza but damn its good. They also sell cold beers, so you can pick up a 6 pack with your beer at the same place

Real bacon. ::falls over with joy::. But seriously, the food here is amazing. For me its normally this place over pizza CS. CS is a bit too fancy for my liking (silly statement I know)

I visited (8/29/15) enjoyed chicken tenders, Broadway fries (house seasoned fries) & small Caesar salad & coke. Tasty lunch, prompt, pleasant service in nice neighborhood diner vibe. Located in Cabin John shopping center/Potomac. Also reasonable prices for area.

Some friends (former New Yorkers no less) have staked this out as their favorite pizza place in the area, and we rode along for a recent meal. It was quite good. And very reasonably priced. Downtown Bethesda has gotten to be very expensive for basic food. An Italian hero should not cost $12. At Broadway, their big subs are about $8 plus, and made NY style. The bread was good, the chicken parm was tender--not at all dried out--with NY sweet "gravy" (pasta sauce). Pizza was a winner and my wife was thrilled with the wings--crispy, but not overdone. Good, basic Greek salad to start with lots of olives. Our waitress was very good--kept the kids table quiet with extra drinks and fast service. We will be back!

I love their gluten free pizza and the steak and cheese sub. My Mom, I and the children eat there and we always have a good time with good food and service and you can get really good deals. Dan the manager is a great guy as well as the servers Robin and David who are just as great and they are all so sweet and easy to talk to. Give this place a try, you will like it.

The pizza is really good, as well as the service; however, their policy on serving two pitchers of beer per table is erroneous - especially when you are dining with a large group. The owner would not allow us to have any more, even though we had 4 tables pushed together to accommodate a group of 12. This rationale allowed for less than a beer per person with no refills. We used to come here every Monday for three months last year and never had a problem; however, with these misguided "rules", we will not be back. Words of advice: in order to skirt around these "rules" when with a group, sit at separate tables and pretend not to know one another.

AWFUL! I would not recommend this place to anyone! Frozen pizza is better and less expensive! And the nachos (if you can even call them that) were so bad I threw them away. It was one giant chunk of cheese with a sprinkle of onions, jalapenos, tomatoes and a ton of shredded lettuce. They are advertised with chili but mine had none. I will NEVER eat here again. I suggest any place other than Broadway Pizza. This shopping center is small but don't give into this terrible "pizza" place.

ordered a white pizza with xtra garlic and white cheese. when picked up--no garlic or white cheese--just a lot of crust.. david stated " I don't take any verbal abuse--go some where else--I don"t give a f..... great customer service!!!!! they have lost a good customer.

Maybe I was there on an off day, or maybe it's because I just left New York and still have lofty standards for pizza, but this just wasn't very good. My girlfriend and I split a medium Margherita, and did not get what we were hoping for. The crust wasn't too bad - thin by suburban mall standards, and reasonably tasty. But there was way too much cheese, no sauce, no fresh basil, and the tomato chunks were from a can. This is not a recipe for a good pizza. Go look at the pictures from the Yelp review of Otto - that's what a Margherita pizza is supposed to look like. Our waitress was very nice, and the pizza was edible, hence the 2 stars rather than 1, but this is not what I expect when a bunch of "ex-New Yorkers" recommend a place. I'm going to keep searching for my DC-area pizza fix.

Broadway Pizza is a great neighborhood pizza place. The pizzas are terrific and the ambience is low key--great for young kids. That said, this isn't gourmet pizza-it's very tasty, solid pizza. Because we like veggies (our kids like plain cheese), we always order mushrooms, peppers, onions, garlic and brocolli on half and plain cheese on the other half and love it. Our family has tried lots of pizza places and regard this as a hidden gem.

I was contacted by the owner of Broadway Pizza following my previous review of my experience there the other day. He basically asked me to come in again and give them a try. He explained some of the changes they were making based on the feedback that my review provided them. It took me longer then I planned to get back in to eat, but to be fair I wanted to ensure I had time to sit and eat, not just get takeout. I went in today around 5:30 or so and sat down to have dinner (only customer at the time). The dining room is seat yourself and I did and was fairly quickly greeted by the waitress/hostess/young lady (you define the position). She asked if I had any questions and I said I didn't and basically proceeded to order. (Chicken Philly, fries, and a coke) She asked about toppings, etc for the sandwich and once we finished she went and put the order in. She returned shortly after with my drink. Not too much longer after she brought me the food and asked if I needed anything else. I didn't so thanked her and proceeded to eat. About 5 minutes or so into it she stopped back over and asked if everything was okay. It was and I said so. After I finished up she brought the bill over, took a few minutes, but that was more the fact that I was sitting looking out the window with my back to her so hard to see what was happening on the table in front of me. I paid, left my tip and headed back to work. Overall this was a far more positive experience for me. I knew what to expect from the food, coworkers get them all the time and I had on takeout the other day, and the service was significantly improved. I found the food to be average, although I do love the way they season the fries.

Used to live in the area and still crave this pizza almost 3 years later. The sauce, the fresh toppings, it's all great. Haven't found anything close to as good in our new area, may spend forever looking.

At present, this is my favorite pizzeria, but I'll admit that has a little to do with the location. The pizza there is pretty consistently fantastic and to the point that when I occasionally have pizza elsewhere, I'm usually disappointed by comparison. My favorite pizza there is the Margarita. It is not like the Margarita you'll find anywhere else. It is more like the "G4" at the IL Forno of Gaithersburg, but better. I run a weekly club that meets in a different location each week with an average turnout of 8 people per meeting. The worst thing about this place is that a party larger than 8 could have difficulty getting seating together. Most of the waitresses there are prompt, polite and responsible. There's one... "large" one there with a serious attitude problem. I've complained to the manager about her twice, and I'm surprised she's not been fired yet. (Update: I've discovered the reason she's not been fired yet is that she IS a "manager" as well. Looks like I probably should have reported her frankly *illegal* comments to the authorities instead. I might have had I known she was a manager. I'll keep it in mind for the next time she makes such comments to me.)

I have eatten their twice now. Service is painfully slow. The first time I had their pizza. Nothing to brag about, just okay. The second time I had a steak and cheese and onion rings. Everything was cold by the time it made its way to our table. I think that the food was ready, but the waiter just took forever to serve it. I had ordered cooked onions and green peppers on the sandwich, but they were completely raw and crispy. The bread was burnt. I mean come on guys..How hard is it to screw up a steak and cheese. My girlfriends steak was cooked to a crisp and unedible. The onion rings were good. Breaded the way that I like them, but again ice cold. Its one of those places that you dont even bother to complain to anyone, because nobody really cares. Go elsewhere.

I love this little restaurant! I go here a lot after work (I work in the shopping center) and every time I go I get greeted with the warmest smile! They are so friendly, no matter who I get. Their pizza is wonderful, and the slices are so big. I always recommend Broadway to anyone who wants a low-key but still delicious meal!

Came for lunch with several co-workers. The service here is very strange. There was one waitress who wandered around the room and barks at customers. And a second who seemed nervous and a bit uncomfortable. I ordered the gyro salad, and was not expecting it to look the way it did when it was delivered. I received a plate with shredded lettuce (think deli style), onions, tomatoes, and some chicken and sliced pita bread. It was odd and not that good. Another co-worker ordered a strange looking chef salad - looked like lettuce and sliced deli meat. Another fail for the restaurants in the cabin john mall. Think I'll stick to the chains like California Tortilla and Starbucks. At least you know what you're going to get and it's pretty good.

The pizza was not terrible, but I have had better. In my opinion there was not enough tomato sauce and the cheese was way to oily. But still, it wasnt awful, but given the choice I would not go back.

I'm always looking for good, New York style pizza - hand tossed and a little charred, flavorful sauce applied lightly, and a good quality mozzarella cheese. Broadway Pizza is not too far off. I do have to specify sometimes that I want them to char the crust more than they usually like to but outside of that I have no complaints. When I get their specialty pizzas, the ingredients are always fresh and the meats are very tasty. Give the Evita Margherita and Shear Madness a try if you are looking for something more than a plain pie but if you're a die-hard NY style pizza fan, go for a plain pie. It's yummy-delish! Bonus points for Broadway Pizza's pitchers of beer!

Been here three times. 1st time ordered 2 slices of pizza to go. Got back to work and saw how big they were, the next time I ordered one slice with a mountain of toppings. Came to a little over 4 bucks.(no soda) good deal. Went there today and got the spaghetti with 2 meatball lunch special. Very good BUT! they only put about two tabelspoons of sauce on it! Not worth it. with soda and tip I paid $13.00. Not worth it. I'll stick to the pizza with LAMB!

Pass-able pizza. I didnt like the pizza at all, very average, like you might expect in a strip center in the burbs. Young kids running the show in the back, decor slighty below average. They need to up their game, I think they're in a good location, lots of families nearby.

Forget it; go the extra miles to Romantica in Great Falls, VA. Both make steak & cheese calzones--Broadway moans & groans & raises the price for putting "steak" in a calzone from $0 extra to $1 to $2 to $3. Same moans & groans EVERY TIME; same complete absence of gratitude for paying customers. This one will bite the dust too, and we'll be watching . . .

My boyfriend and I tried this place out during his break. He bought a medium two topping pizza for 14 dollars. I myself work at a family-owned italian restaurant and our medium pizzas are definitely much cheaper. I found the pizza to be thinner and smaller than what a 14 dollar pizza should look like. Although the pizza was good, it definitely wasn't worth the high price.

Just tried this place for the first time in a long time. I think it's under new management, because the pizza is completely different from what it used to be. As per my prior review, the old pizza used to be a reasonable facsimile of New York style pizza. The new pizza has a doughier crust, lighter use of sauce, and a completely different presentation and taste. It's the strangest thing, but this pizza reminded both my wife and me of a pizza place in upstate New York (called Rogan's in Ithaca). The crust has (i think) a bit of cornmeal (from the web site, it looks like they may source it from the Still Riding Pizza Co.), which gives it a flavorful but less crispy finish. The dough is thick, and both the dough and the sauce have a sweet note. The quality of topics was pretty much standard pizza shop level. Give this a try, it's way better than Ledos and some of the other stuff that passes for pizza around here. Ask them to cook it a bit longer than they otherwise would, the caramelization helps the overall flavor of the pie.

Broadway Pizza is one of my favorite local pizza places. In my household, everyone has their preferences of whether they like Pizza Hut, Dominos, Papa Johns, Vocelli's, etc, but we all agree on Broadway Pizza. Its a bit expensive, and it sometimes takes the delivery guy a while to get there, but its worth it.

Finally, a decent pizza place in the area! They are really the only New York style pizza places in rockville that I could find. We haven't tried any of the sandwiches, but the pizza is pretty good, and the staff seems nice. Definitely recommend.

Back when I was a loner, I used to come here with a book, get a window seat and eat a small margarita pizza while reading something by William S. Burroughs, or something to that extent. It's a nice atmosphere, if you like the whole pizza dining experience, which I do. It's casual and laid back, and just a nice place to be alone at. It's also a good place for groups too. The service is so so, but the food is good. Seriously, check out their margarita pizza.

I love Broadway Pizza. My friend lives near there, and she kind of laughs at how much I like it, but in my opinion, it's some of the best pizza in the DC area!
