Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

Great food. Not your traditional Chinese carry out food. Reasonable pricing and soothing music. Had the lunch special General Tsaos chicken. Large chunks of white meat chicken with a light batter was tasty and didn't make you feel like you had to take a nap after eating.

I have lived two miles away for fifteen years and have never been disappointed. Tonite a dinner way better than ever. The tastes are authentic Andrew service is always great The carry out is always great complete and ready when I get there. Great experience every time

Really good food. Super nice people. Love the spare ribs. I get extra sauce though cause they do them very dry and that makes them actually more like the usual way you'd expect them. Great wonton soup. Diners we like house pan fried noodles a lot. Mongolian beef is good 2!

I love the wanton soup here and the Mongolian beef. Every time I have been here I've gotten a dinner combination special. This includes a main entree, pork fried rice, an egg roll and a choice of wanton or egg drop soup. Last time I was here I also had an order of shrimp toast. Flavorful and a good amount for the buck. Give this place a try if you are in the mood for good Chinese food out near the middle of nowhere. Thanks for reading my review. This review is based on my personal experience.

Just plain good. Better Chinese than you would expect way out in the middle of nowhere, and never disappoints. The only problem is that it IS a little pricey.

OK so for a Chinese cuisine in the middle of no where, great for what it is. If you are going to compare it to something in one of the large cities not so much. Sad because if they just brought it up a notch, better quality ingredients etc. It really could be a good to great restaurant.

Great place with kind, solid management. Family has been going here for years, and when I came home from college with friends they would always rave about how good it is and how they wanted to come back. One thing about Golden House - the chicken pieces are always HUGE, and not to mention fresh. The inside needs a little re-vamping, but it's family run, and they do a great job of serving people food. People around the area love this place, lot's of regulars. My only complaint is that there prices raise about 15 cents isn every year or so, and I miss the ol' 7 dollar dinner combination.

Not bad. Standard Chinese take out. They do have sit in service but I never have. Spring rolls were petty good.

I had a chance to give this place a try. I had the kung pao chicken. It was very tender and the fried rice was one of the best I have had.I will be trying something else on the menu next time to see if all the food is that good.

I started bringing our two children here when they were toddlers. They are now 26 and 28, so that tells you just how good Golden House must be to make it so long in an out-of-the way shopping mall. They do a brisk carry-out business, but the real charm of the place is dining "in." It's literally a white table cloth restaurant, but very informal and warm. Kids of all ages are welcome, and so is gramps with his walker. The secret is the staff, who treat everyone like family - sincerely. When your waitress or the owner asks you how your week was, or if you are over the sniffles, they really care. The food is waaayyyy better and fresher than one might expect from a cursory glance from the parking lot (which, by the way, is ample). I must have sampled every dish by now, but the one I keep coming back to again and again is (are?) the SIngapore Noodles. The kitchen can dial up or down the spiciness to suit your palate. I'll bet you cannot find a tastier version in SIngapore! Folks rave about the fried rice, Kung Pao chicken and all the standards on a Chinese menu. It's a BYOB place with no corkage fee and there are two good liquor stores nearby. For us the best part is seeing which regulars will show up. Chatting with folks across the room is so much fun. If I had the choice between a relaxing evening at Golden House or fighting the crowds to get to Baltimore's latest "big thing," I'll meet my friends at G.H. every time.
