I've been frequenting this place for many years and it's a hometown favorite. They have a very wide selection of sandwiches and although they're all pretty good I'd have to say that the San Martino and Deniro (no longer on the menu but I still ask for it) are two of my more frequent choices. Sometimes they are a little heavy handed on the sauces so if you don't care for that you should ask for it on the side. Their Boars head meats are great!! I haven't had a chance to try many of the sides since I'm usually too full after the hearty sandwich and a bag of Zapp's chips, but they all look pretty good. I'll get there one of these days! I wash it all down with a bottle of San Benedetto (it's really sweet but feels like a treat on a hot summer day). They just added an extension not too long ago and started offering pizza, which I hear is good so I will be going to there soon to find out for myself! It's not a huge space but it's a stand alone building that offers ample seating for you and a couple of your buddies. Customer service is either a hit or miss, but I come for the sandwiches! If the older guy (I think his name is Joe) is there, he's hilarious and will probably throw a few jokes your way. Service can be a little lagging at times, but you'll have plenty of things to browse through in their little shop area with all sorts of different treats.

I ordered delivery since I'm the only person working at my place. The woman on the phone didn't sound so happy, I think she was busy and probably a bit annoyed that I called at the wrong time. Sorry! I ordered the half Leonardo and the half Philly Cheese Steak subs with 1 small fries with gravy. The order came in about 20-25 minutes which was fast! Let's get to the point. Philly Cheese Steak was generic. It was forgettable. Everything from the toppings to the meat was bland. There was a lot of meat but it all tasted bland. Thankfully I got the gravy on the side and when dipped, flavor came around! The Leonardo was good though. Plenty of brisket with veggies and bourbon sauce. Sweet, tasty, and lots of good meat. The only con I had about this was that the veggies were overcooked to the point where there's no nutrition in em. The fries were seasoned! Yay! They tasted pretty good and even better in the gravy. From the service to the food, I thought it was alright overall. I'll order again this week and see how it goes then make an update! Till then!

What used to be a great place with great food has taken a turn in the wrong direction. I can't even comment on the food anymore because I haven't received any the last two times I've called in an order. The first when I asked for delivery, it was obvious from the response that my request was unwelcome. The second time I called and was placed on eternal hold. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, there won't be a third. I wish it weren't so, because I know the food to be delicious. Unfortunately, I can't seem to place an order anymore.

This place has gone downhill fast. My past three visits here have been completely disappointing. The service has been atrocious and the food has not been much better. On Saturday night I called in an order and I was told that it was going to be ready in 10 minutes. I went to the deli not only was my order not ready I ended up waiting for 15 minutes for them to to get pickles from the back. When my order was finally completed the cheese that I ordered was covered in some sort of mystery substance. I pointed it out to the clerk, and the clerk told me that they did not clean the machine prior to preparing my order. GROSS! The staff needs a lesson about food safety and hygiene. Not a single employee was wearing food service gloves and the cashier handled cash and then immediately touched bread with her bare hands. I spoke to another customer out in the parking lot who said that he was never coming back here again and after I got home and ate the absolutely disgusting potato salad that I ordered I can say that I agree with him I may not be heading back here anytime soon what a disappointment. If I had written this review just a few short months ago I would've probably praise the level of service and the quality of the food however I'm afraid that this is not the case any more. I hope the owners of this establishment read this and make some serious changes in their deli I would hate to see this place close or lose more customers due to some problems that seem like they can be fixed rather easily.

Have been coming to this place since it was known as Cannella's Italian Deli. I have ordered such items like the True Italian Deluxe and other cold cut subs as well. I have been very pleased with them as well as their cole slaw. I have also eaten Pizza, Cheesesteaks, and the Chicken Parm sub and was really pleased with all of them. They have a royalty rewards program that if you sign up for you get $10 off your next order. As points earn on your reward card, you will get a free entree. I would definitely recommend this place.

Disgusting. Them fools don't ware gloves when they make your food. The clown that was making the sandwiches was scratching his beard while making the sandwich. Italian sandwich was okay, the bread was not good, and they soaked it with cheap Italian salad dressing. The only saving grace was the Boar's Head deli meats. And Italian is spelled Itailian on the banner outside the door. Clown sh*t. Typical Maryland establishment.

I am in LOVE with this place! My husband is a parkville local , and he took me here for a lunch type date back when we where still dating .... well I was blown away! The bread is freshly baked and amazing! We normally get the cheesesteak , or the shrimp salad. We can both split the large and be happy ! They have great pasta sides and yummy canolis . I was not impressed by their lasgina , it lacked something , but the subs I have had are top notch! You have to try the cheese steak! They also now have pizza which I have yet to try , but they sent me a coupon in the mail for 50% off a pizza . They have a rewards program which is great! Once you eat there you will be hooked!

We've been going to Toscana's for years and love the food. It's always fresh and very high quality and the service is friendly and attentive. My special favorite is the chef salad, which is always impeccably fresh and enough for two. My husband loves the meat lovers and the Godfathers pizzas and we both love the subs, especially the True Italian. The subs are overstuffed with high quality ingredients and the sub rolls are just wonderful. We frequently recommend Toscana's to our friends.

Been eating at Toscana's for 10+ years even back when it was called Cannella's. I always get the Italian Vegetarian but you can't go wrong with anything on that menu. The pasta salads are all exceptional as well. Every time a friend or family member want to have lunch, I always recommend Toscana's. Give it a shot! You'll be sure to come back!

Toscana Italian Deli is A-OK. But it ain't no Mastellone's. I hate to compare it so blatantly, but it has so many of the same offerings, and just falls short of its competitor a few miles south. Toscana sells deli meats, cheeses, subs, housemade desserts, tons of De Cecco goods, beer, wine, premade italian dinners in the cold case, and most recently, pizza. The deli meats and cheeses have a nice selection & the quality is fine What I am usually looking for in an Italian grocery - the housemade mozzerella -- is unfortunately just not that tasty. The subs are lesser than the sum of their parts. They are poorly built. I almost always have to take everything off & start over to eat in peace - and that really takes away from the experience. The eggplant parmesan is an embarrassment. The premade pasta dishes in the cold case might as well have said Stouffer's. And the pizza is ok for a slice in tandem with a snowball from next door..... The housemade desserts are probably my favorite items in this store. The selection of beer & wine is ok, the wine bottles are too warm & dusty for my liking. Other than that, I dont think I will get it again. And I have also bought some of their dough to make my own pizza. Bad idea. Meaning, the pizza turned out pretty bad. A very odd characteristic of Toscana is the service. At any given time, there might be 5 or six teenagers behind the counter working. And I am the only customer! What is going on there? Why don't any of them know how to make a decent sub? Don't get me wrong, the girls who usually work the register are very nice. But.... what is going on here? ok, for a grocery - it's great for a subshop - eek

Already a huge fan of the subs - seriously? Try the "Godfather" - you will be too. But the other day my friend brought home the cannoli and it was awesome, filled to order the shell stayed crunchy even though I didn't get to eat till later. The shells are laced with chocolate inside rather than the usual minichips in the cream which get cold and weird. This way was the perfect bite. Love it!

Another Itailian market/deli, however this one seems to really focus on their deli and entrees, not so much the grocery products. One interesting offering was frozen balls of their pizza dough which worked out very well at home. Interesting because it's kind of tucked away right at that point where Harford Road starts changing from suburbia to *God's country*. Great place to grab a sub, bag of chips and head down Cub Hill to Loch Raven for a quiet bite by the water. They offer lots of great deli products including Boar's Head and housemade mozzerella. Everything I've seen looks fantastic but I am mostly here to report on the subs. One of the best in the county. There are so few places left to get an authentic Italian cold cut any more we need to charish the ones remaining. Great, fresh meats and cheeses, quality tomatoes, lettuce, vinegar and olive oil. And it's huge! I only regret we didn't really discover this place until after we moved from the area- many years ago.

Sort of one of the the better Italian food specialty stores around but its gone to hell recently. Italian style sandwiches here were real good except that now its impossible to get pesto on the prosciutto sandwich. I mean seriously, this is an Italian deli. It should be law among all Italian deli's to have an open jar of pesto behind the counter for various condiment requirements. And the pizza here is officially consistent now: always screwed up. Place also seems dirty now and ill kept/poorly stocked. Once they provided great hope for Italian food in the area and now they are just as poor performing as anywhere else.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
