Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Ok so I got a pepperoni and spinach pizza with my bf. he suggested it, it was actually pretty good. Good amount of sauce cheese and lots of pepperoni yum. The crust is good too. There is no room to eat there though but we were eating in bed anyways. The place looks clean, I'm serv safe certified and saw the staff had good sanitation and had gloves on when doing certain things. Service was good. Overall I'd come back here again. Bit pricey though. But good. They have sodas and water too.

Armands is not very good. I can't believe this place has been around for like 10 years now. The deep dish pizza is very bland. There isn't enough sauce and their is way too much cheese. The same for the garlic bread-- there is a thick layer of plasticy cheese on top. It seems to always be a very long wait for food to be ready even for carry out. I have tried to give them a second and third chance, but they simply aren't my cup of tea.

Nasty is the only way I can describe my experience. The manager's attitude was nasty, and the food would have probably been good if he wasn't nasty. When I went to pick up my food they forgot to make my salad. Not a problem until he reached his bare hands in the lettuce to make it. I asked him about it and he hunched his shoulders and told me it was an "industry standard." I told him out of all the restaurants I've worked through college that was the first excuse I heard that actually insulted my intelligence. Then he was annoyed that I didn't want the salad. Really? Unfortunately, the salad does not go into a hot oven to hopefully kill off that is on his hands and undoubtedly swimming under his dirty nails. Won't be back.

The pizza I order was delicious... when they finally got my order right!! We called for a pizza and we waited an hour for it to come and when it did it was the wrong pizza! When we called again the manager acted as if it was normal and offered 50% off our next pizza if they didn't have to send the correct order. I still told them to send the right one and it took another hour.. How lazy and unprofessional

I ordered a Margherita pizza tonight. I was really looking forward to it. As you know, a Margherita pizza has tomato, mozzarella cheese and fresh basil on it. Picked it up and brought it home, opened the box and to my surprise no BASIL. I thought oh, they just made a mistake. I called them back on the the phone and told them my pizza has no Basil on it. I was told they no longer put Basil on Margherita pizzas any more. Hum... that means this is a tomoato pizza. I told them I would no longer be ordering from them.

So far so good first time in here. Ordered a chef salad was told about a 15 minute wait. About 8 minutes now. But the atmosphere seem pleasant and friendly. I wished they delivered in my neighborhood. Hayne station off gordon highway about 6 minutes away. 10 minutes and counting still waiting.. .I will get bak with you later and let you know the outcome.15 minutes up...going on 20 minutes for a chef salad...gggrrrrr.

My husband and I loved this pizza, but our kids hated the chunky tomato sauce. We went there anyway, and got white pizza for the kids, until one day we ordered sundried tomatos on our pizza. They substituted tomato slices instead, saying they were out of sundried. They had our phone number and could have called to ask what we wanted instead, but didn't. They didn't apologize for the substitution, or attempt in any way to fix it. We didn't even get a discount. We haven't been back since. What kind of place chooses toppings FOR you? Meh.

The first time I thought they put to much sauce so I asked to go light on the sauce on following visits. Usually, I call and say the same as last time. If you like Chicago style pizza I would give them a try.

Armand's in general is very good but was told the Olney one doesn't carry basil and hasn't "for a very long time". Not sure how a Margherita pizza is made then- definitely not according to their own menu.

Pizza is delicious and the deals can't be beat. Pepperoni and specialty pizzas are great. I recommend Armand's for sure. Best place in Olney for pizza.

I just moved to Silver Spring but have been twice this week. Good pizza which has been hard to find in DC/MD/VA. The physical location has about 10 tables. Staff seems nice and reasonably priced. I cannot figure out why their ratings are not higher

Placed an order online tonight. Card went through, got a confirmation email and everything. The wait time said about 40 minutes. After an hour I called to see where my order was. Nope, no record of my order. Took several people coming to the phone over 5 minutes to figure this out. Did I place it with another Armand's? Was I sure that I had placed the order? Not going to try this place again.

Good Chicago-style pizza and the staff have always been friendly. I have had take out here several times in the past year and the pizza has always been good.

One of the worst pizza's I've had. I had to give the rest to a compliant stoner, who didn't seem to dislike it.

Out of all chain pizza places that deliver in Olney...yeeeyyy for Armands...Deep dishhh ooozzzing of cheese, ok chicken wings and salads and on Mondays and Wednesdays you can pick up a thin cheese extra large for $6.99...I got the special this past Wednesday for the first time..and it was actually pretty good! I do like deep dish though and my favorite toppings green peppers and onions... yeah don't ask why!

While their pizza was OK, I will be ordering from Papa John's from now on, since they made repeated autodialed robo-calls to my home AND my cell, the latter of which is flat-out illegal. Even with an established business relationship, they are required to get you to affirmatively opt in to use autodialed recorded messages when calling cell phones. Besides the law, it's common sense to let people opt-in. They had some OK specialty pizzas, but nothing I'll miss. Giuseppi's in Rockville is SO much better, anyway, it's worth the trip to pick it up.

I became a fan of Armand's when I first moved to Gaithersburg. When I was looking at homes in Olney, I was delighted to discover there was an Armand's there. We order pizza there at least once a month and we've never been let down. We usually do carry-out (rather than delivery) since we're so close. This particular Armands only does carry-out and delivery. There is no eating in. If you like deep dish, you'll love Armands. I've also had their other pizzas and they're really good but I almost always get the deep dish pepperoni. Check your junk mail for coupons, it's rare that we get pizza from here without a coupon. I have never had a negative experience coming here (or any of the Armands locations).
