Would give ZERO stars if I could ... don't waste your time or Mondy --- had to drive back 2 times to get my order right and it was still messed up ... they tried to tell me that their registers were not working ... BS!!! First and last time going to this location! Also - girl at drive through looks like she hasn't showered ever and had filty nails ... I didn't even want to take the food --- gave everything back and agrued with them about giving me a refund ... NEVER NEVER again. *****************DO NOT GO .... THEY NEED TO GO OUT OF BUSINESS SO WE CAN GET A GOOD RESTAURANT HERE ****************************************** Now I understand why no one is ever there.

So I asked for an extra thick, extra chocolate shake I got a watery milky semi-chocolate shake. Second time this has happened. If they would tell these kids making these shakes the correct order we be ok. "Mama Bear as her tag read" said two medium shakes. Why couldn't she say it correctly. 2 medium shakes, 1 extra chocolate, make it thick no whip cream no cherry. Anyways.. After sending my husband back in there it's correct.

Their blizzards are on point. And I usually like Dairy Queen fries but they weren't very good the last few times I had them here. Kind of expensive too.

I love this dairy queen. I'm a burger snob and the burgers here are better than the 5 guys across the street. The food is consistently good and fresh. Prices are reasonable too. They can definately forget things you add after the fact, which they certainly didn't forget to charge you for, so that's why they get 4 instead of 5 for a fast food place.

We have been ordering our birthday cakes from here for a few years, and we have ALWAYS been blown away by what the artists can do with the cake designs. I am really impressed, and every year it seems we give them harder and harder designs to try. This year, the Ravenclaw cake, the girl was excited to do - not only do they do incredible work, they do it with enthusiasm. You just don't see that very often these days. Well done to this staff, and of course - amazing Ice Cream. It's Dairy Queen! I've had their food a couple of times, as well, and I've always been happy.

You know, it's probably a bad idea to charge $3 for a small plain ice cream cone when the place next door (McDonald's) charges 1/3rd of that. And cooking the food to order? Probably a good idea for some, but again, faster and cheaper elsewhere. But the overall vibe is hostile, with several signs at the window scolding customers for using coupons NOT issued by this particular location, informing folks that food isn't started until you ordered (shouldn't this sign be closer to the menu board?), they don't take large bills, etc. You can barely see in for all the signs. I go in for a dipped cone, wincing at the $3.50 price tag, but I can't imagine how it stays in business with their attitude and policies.

This place was a total ripoff. $17+ for two double cheeseburger meals. .40 cents extra if you want a piece of lettuce and the same if you want tomato. Fries are smaller than a McDonald's small fry. Burger orders were wrong (had to send both back for the second part of what's called "double" cheeseburger, burgers were swimming in so much ketchup and mustard that they were almost inedible, fries were very cold and the cheese was slapped on and not even melted. Five Guys across the street would have been much faster, more reasonably priced and of better quality.

The food is generally okay but if you're ordering anything other than ice cream be prepared to wait. They are incredibly slow. This evening I went through the drive thru and ordered chicken strips and a milkshake. I got the milkshake fairly quickly but waited and waited on my dinner. After 10 minutes the cashier asked me to pull my car up and that my food would be right out. 20 minutes later and I finally got my food with a very lame apology. They didn't even put it in a bag. This isn't the first time they were slow but it's the worst. The employees aren't friendly at all act like it's a real hassle to be there. Hello?! It's your job! I wish this wasn't the only local DQ location. It's really unfortunate.

I have to say this is the worst dairy queen I've ever been to. The seating is slim to none and even though most of the workers are friendly enough, the manager is not customer service oriented at all. I went there and ordered a Julius but was then given a smoothie. So I had to park and go inside and get it fixed. On another occasion I requested a small change to a Julius and while the staff was willing to accommodate my request, the manager absolutely refused to allow it and even watched over the attendant while he made my drink. I would have gladly paid extra but she still refused my request. I will absolutely avoid this establishment from now on.

I love Dairy Queen. Especially the locations that have burgers. However, This Location needs to be remodeled to be able to accommodate the traffic and amount of patrons it receives.

Your standard Dairy Queen. Food: Took a little bit longer than I thought for my order about 10-15 mins. Which is perfectly fine with me. The fries were hot and tasty but the Double Cheeseburger was pretty rough looking (like they pressed it down) still tasted good tho. Restaurant: looked a little run down and the floor looked pretty dirty. Service: friendly and helpful.

This place is ridiculous! 35 min in a drive thru line is not acceptable! The person at the window disappears for a good 10 min at a time. If I didn't want this damn s'more blizzard so badly I'd take my business elsewhere!

Do not understand why so many choose to accept such incredibly bad service here. Just spent 20 minutes inside in line at the Dairy Queen watching car after car get served outside, when the manager (who had on a headset and was serving only cars) came up and said "we'll be with you in a few minutes." Sorry, I know that's what happens at Knaack's, but the older I get the less I like it. We walked......

My buddy and I got our order quickly but the customer service is terrible. I dont want to pull the race card but I feel that might have been part of the reason my buddy got a not so friendly look from one of the cashiers. The people working here need to learn how to give friendlier service even if its being faked.

HORRIBLE! Service is terrible, everything takes FOREVER to get, and half of the time you don't get what you ordered. It is also disgustingly dirty inside. The McDonald's next door is exactly the same way. I drive by every day and this place is packed. I have no idea why. I would rather battle Arundel Mills traffic and go to that location then drive 30 seconds down the road and eat here. You guys need to fix yourselves, because you are HORRENDOUS.

Worst Dairy Queen I've ever been to. Went twice, both times ordering a pair of blizzards for my wife and I through the drive through. Both times we spent 10+ minutes waiting before someone at the window even acknowledged us. To make it worse, the blizzards were melted, like they had left them on a counter for the full time we were waiting. We assumed the first time was due to being close to closing, but the second time was at lunch. Terrible.

I agree with one of the other reviewers, this DQ is hit or miss, especially compared to locations in the Midwest where corporate seems to keep a much tighter leash on the consistency of quality and consistency of service. I recently visited the Dairy Queen location and had a negative experience with a rude manager. My wife and I had ordered a Blizzard cake because of a $3 off coupon we had received in our email. Upon arrival, we presented the coupon on one of our iPhone's due to not having a printer. The associate said he would have to ask his manager how to ring in the coupon and she rudely approached the situation before even knowing what the issue was. Once we explained to her that we had a coupon and could not print it, she started coming up with random reasons we could not use it. She first said they did not have the technology, which is inexcusable in this day and age. She then started accusing us of using the phone tactic to use the coupon multiple times which was simply untrue. After she rudely walked away without apologizing, we worked to finish the transaction with the somewhat nicer associate but still did not get the promised discount which led to the purchase in the first place. Edit: The owner of this franchise did get in contact with me after filing a complete with corporate. She provided a coupon of equal value to the one that was denied by the shift manager and apologized for the inconvenience. It sounds like there is a trial run of using electronic coupons on the horizon.

Hit & miss either OK or fantastic. Like many DQ's I've been to, the quality seems to depend on who is working that night. Generally, since I moved nearby abut a year ago, it's been a great place for ice cream. I'd say Blizzards are made the "proper" way (able to be inverted on completion) about 70% of the time. I have eaten lunch there once, and the quality was acceptable, being slightly better than the less expensive McDonalds next door, although only marginally cheaper than the outstanding Five Guys across the street. In the winter time, this DQ is one of the very few ice cream places in Odenton that's still open, but unfortunately they close at 9pm every night -- a little early for a dessert place in my opinion -- which results in a huge rush around closing time most days.

This DQ has been here since I can remember and had car shows and I see the old cars still come up sometimes. It has a Retro look and Yay the sign reads everything is made fresh to order and reads chicken takes 5 min. just to cook. Well I prefer my food fresh made to order, not old or premade and held like the other fast food joints...so I will wait a little longer to have fresh food...I'll Be Back!.

Knaack's Dairy Queen has been here for as long as I've lived in Maryland (1983) and pretty much the only thing that's changed is that Dennis the Menace is no longer plastered all over the place. I swear the same teenagers that were working back there in the '80s are still slinging Blizzards and fries to this day. It's still a dive, with a few tables inside that you can maybe cram four into, and a couple of extra-sticky outdoor tables where you will fight the bugs off with a stick on warm summer evenings. But you don't come to DQ for the ambiance -- you come for ice cream with friends and family. It's kind of nice to find a place like this that's an anachronism, yet still managing to hang on.
