Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Server was very friendly, and pizza was delicious. My friends and I split a medium pizza and created each half of the pizza with different toppings. Would def. be back if I am in OC! Enjoy!

Pizza wasn't too bad. It's a decent place for a pizza on the boardwalk. Nothing spectacular food wise. Excellent upper deck that overlooks the beach though.

Worst pizza I have ever had. The sign above says best pizza on the boardwalk. I think they meant the worst on the boardwalk because it is terrible.

Great pizza with cold beer overlooking the ocean but not seeing the crowds - what else can you ask for?! Although a little expensive, its a great place to eat off the boardwalk.

Pretty much the worst dining experience ever! Attempted to get plain ziti (even though baked ziti was on the menu) for my toddler but was told that wasn't possible because "they would have to charge me for baked ziti because plain wasn't on the menu and there was no other way to put it into the computer." Ok, fair enough. I ordered the baked ziti with the thought of splitting the meal. It arrives and I began to give her pieces of pasta and as I do, notice the center of the "baked ziti" was ice cold. In addition, the sauce around the edge was burnt. I told the waitress it was cold and she said "they heated it in the microwave so it's not my fault." Ummm what? She took it back, I assume to reheat it. In the meantime the rest of my party's food arrived. Another 10 min or so goes by and it finally arrived. I thought, ok they probably made me a fresh order. But no, she informs me that they "put it in the microwave AGAIN but this time it kind of fell apart." Umm what? She said to let her know if it wasn't good. Obviously it wasn't. I was then told that the manager said I can either eat it and pay for it, or they will get me something else free of charge. I said I didn't want to eat it and didn't want anything else. My toddler wouldn't even touch it. She then had to consult the manager. They finally agreed to take it off the bill but only if she took it away just then. Fine. We also got a garden salad that was basically bag salad. Other folks in my party got pizza which they said was ok. I know it's Boardwalk food and all but it was a complete waste. Skip it and get French fries and ice cream instead.

Came in with my family, party of 8, although we were seated quickly on the roof top & the view was great...the food was nothing but overpriced. The price tag of $20 for a pie, should bring more than mediocre food!!!

Went here for dinner, had a meat eaters pizza, onion rings and a meatball parmesan. The service was good. Unfortunately the food was not good. The onion rings were really greasy, the cheese on the sub was slimy and gross, and the pizza dough tasted frozen and lifeless. Pricey for the quality, will not return. Did I mention the beer was warm?

Have always loved Tonys pizza, best place to people watch while on upper deck having cocktails and enjoying pizza. Went on Saturday, May 24th the upper deck was not open. We had a party of 5 and ended up being seated in the back room behind the door. Chairs were ripped, table was not cleaned, silverware was wrapped in dirty napkins that looked like they had been wrapped before the winter season. Was told that their was a small selection of beer, no lasagna and when pizza finally arrived 2 other tables were served before us even though they arrived after us ours were COLD! Never received silverware for 3 other people and they never asked if we wanted any new sodas and my husband asked for a beer and the beer was finally brought at the end of our meal. Truly disappointed!!!

We always go to Tony's pizza when we are in OC. Our server was very good and so was the pizza. It's not gourmet, but it's Boardwalk fare. We got a pitcher of beer with it and just relaxed. Unfortunately, we came just before Sunfest and they were out of some of their ingredients, but what they had was good.

Had both a whole pizza with sausage and peppers, and a sausage sub. Both were excellent with the service just super. Great beach food with friendly service.

Good greasy pizza and grilled cheese sandwichs.

We've been coming to Tony's Pizza for years. The pizza is good -I've had better and more authentic but it's good. We come here when we go to the boardwalk. The service is always good and the view from the roof terrace is great.

Pizza was still pretty good like I remembered but the service is awful and bathrooms are gross. Would give 4 stars if we got a pie to go and didn't have to deal with the horrible service. Mgmt should step in to rectify these very solvable problems if they care about their business.
