I'll get the negatives out of the way first - the service is a little slow and the space is small so its a little cramped, particularly on the inside. I did not like the bathrooms at all. The women's room was somewhat dirty and they had that situation where a large roll of crappy toilet paper is crammed into a tiny dispenser so that the toilet paper roll is stuck there and doesn't spin when you try to get paper out. And then the paper is so tissue thin that as you try to find a way to get some out of the dispenser you end up with nothing more than a handful of tiny shreds as opposed to an actual usable couple of squares. Very annoying. That aside, the food was pretty good and I thought the outdoor patio area was very cute. I got a veggie omelette and was pleased to see that it came in a large portion size with ample fruit and 4 pieces of toast on the side. It was a perfectly-portioned satisfying meal that left me satisfied but not stuffed to the brim. And I like how they put a large coffee pot on the table so you can refill when you need to instead of searching for a waiter in vain. Prices were reasonable.

Home fries are awesome and the omelettes were were awesome. I would definitely go back for the food. They have issues with the hostess seating people so go with patience in mind. Don't get the steak & eggs, we were warmed that they are just frozen steaks.

Great atmosphere. Love the pool bar, had a wonderful dirty banana drink! The food is good especially breakfast. I could eat the French toast over and over again. First time visiting OC.

Great outdoor atmosphere. Egg salad and crab cakes are fantastic. Try the Lemon Crush.

Nice and Airy, Very quick service, great menu, good view, great atmosphere for such a small place. Breakfast was amazing! french Toast, Bacon, Omelet, the pool bar. It's a small spot but, you can have a grrreat time. Really.

You will not leave hungry if you receive the same quality of food and service as I do. I usually have breakfast here at least once a week. They have to have the best omlettes around! The servers are always nice and the food is consistantly good. If you are hungry for lunch I will suggest their grilled cheese and bacon sandwhich. It's always perfect! They have a good group of guys that work the pool bar as well.

Rio Grande, "pool bar" as the locals call it, is a must for breakfast & lunch. Fresh fruit served with every breakfast meal. Tuna steak is awesome!

Quick service and decent prices. The eggs are well cooked, the pancakes huge, and I really like that you get fruit offered as a side. It's not a glamorous spot to eat, but I'm ok with that.
