We had a bad experience. Bad customer service. I will not come here just because of the customer service. We used waffle cones as our toppings for the froyo. The people at the countered said yes that should be fine. We went up to the counter, they weighed our froyo with the waffle cone. On top of charging us for the weight of the froyo and waffle cone, the added $5 as a fee for the topping. I can understand that the waffle cone is $5 with ice cream in it...but what should have been $10 turned into $20. We asked if they thought this was okay, and they said "we understand, but our manager isn't here so we can't refund you anything."

The yogurt shakes are pricey but worth it. They had cotton candy froyo too, which was good.

This is the second time I have been here, the first time wasn't all that stellar so thought two years later maybe better, nope. How about the staff, saying Good Morning or hello, I was the only one in there, nope. Their yogurt mixes are not as good as Sweet Frog, Flavia and Tutti Fruitti, just average. I got plain sans toppings, is was 2.44 and well I dont have cash. Seems I annoyed the clerk by not paying with cash, she took the debit card but made it be known it was an inconvenience.

This is a very nice little yogurt shop. I will admit, for frozen yogurt, it is a bit pricey so I wouldnt do it often, but it is a nice treat to experience occassonally. My daughter loves making her own little creation. I also love that they do local nights where they donate their sales to local schools and such, thats a great way to give back to the community.

Yogi Castle, is by far my absolute favoritest nom-tastic froyo place around town. They've recently expanded to the Canton area in Baltimore City, (where I live) - so I am beyond excited! Yogi offers a plethora of flavors with nutritional facts above the dispensing machines. They also offer over 50 different "toppings" for your froyo. I usually get the low-fat cheesecake froyo with crushed graham cracker topping with kiwis, strawberries, blueberries, and bananas. Nom nom nom. For those of you who are so concerned with the "hefty" price... try finding anything that is "diet-worthy", that won't cost you an arm and a leg. Or, go eat somewhere else... it's that simple.

From the moment I walked in here, to the moment I walked out, I couldn't stop smiling. This place is absolutely perfect. Some of the frozen yogurts need a little taste change, but it's great! You can eat a touch healthier, or just go nuts with gummies, cookies, and brownies! Great place to take a girl on a date.

It's pretty bad that I work just down the street from this place because I think it is amazing! They have so many flavors and toppings its so hard to choose! The store is very clean and the staff seems really friendly so far. At least one of my co-workers is here once a week. I like this place a lot more than Tutti Frutti in Cockeysville.

Oreo cookies are never stale. Totally appreciate that!! You get an instant "Hello! Welcome to Yogi Castle!" as soon as you step inside :) Just walk straight to the back where they provide the cups to fill with their delicious yogurt. Actually, I'm not a fan of most of the flavored yogurts, to be honest, but it's because I am a pretty simple gal. It seems like most people do enjoy their uniquely flavored yogurts so you should definitely try them for yourself. I like the non-fat vanilla flavor, fresh strawberries, & Oreo cookie toppings. It's perfection like that. I know they advertise that it is healthy to eat their yogurt but with the amount of Oreo toppings I place on my healthy yogurt, there is nothing healthy left about it. And I am okay with that!!! This place is a treat so I'm going to keep it that way :) Affordable, too. A few bucks gets you a good amount.

They had a wide range of choices, including coconut, Euro Tart, milk chocolate and cake batter, with a wide range of other choices. Their were 3 different size containers and the toppings were extensive. We stopped here while driving from VA to PA and it was a great treat, much needed after a long journey. Overall, great in terms of the choices as well as the quality of the froyo :-)

I really love that the Asian-style fro-yo came to White Marsh. This place is cute and has all the toppings you could desire for any of their 16 flavors on a given day. The fro-yo can be a bit pricey, but it is mainly because you will be adding on so many toppings you will start tipping the scale that way (priced by weight). anyway, come by and enjoy that slightly tangy cool goodness. =)

Yogi Castle is a nice addition to the White Marsh shopping area. They have like 16 different flavors of "Real" frozen yogurt. Yogi's will also offer to let you taste the different varieties so you can find out what you might like. I love the Heath bar yogurt and the peanut butter yogurt. They have a large array of different toppings like fruit, nuts, and candies as well as syrups/sauces. I had Butterfingers, Heath Bar, and Reese Peanut butter cups.... Drawback... the small cup hold 16oz... so if you're not careful, a trip to Yogi's can get pricey as their yogurt is sold by weight. So I would advise you to watch your over zealous teenage boys who will not think twice before filling the cup to overfull. Lucky for me Yogi's is far enough away, that it takes a real craving to drive the 8 miles for a treat, otherwise I would be loosening up my belt.

This place is great! They have a wall of soft serve machines with all different flavors. You get a cup and pretty much put however much froyo you want in it and move on to the toppings. They've got tons of toppings, pretty much anything you'd want. I like it because it's all self serve. Then you pay by weight at the end of the line. I got a good amount for $4. It always seems to be crowded though. But then again that's never stopped me. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area.

  • Allison W.

Definitely not as good as Pinkberry or some of the other imitators. But it's about time the area got some fro-yo. Also, I think I went a little crazy and put a million flavors into one, I should've known better seeing as I only ever get plain any other time. That may have impacted my experience. Regardless, it's nowhere near as good as its competitors, but could be ok if you choose the right combo.

Do-it-yourself frozen yogurt has finally made its way into White Marsh!!! No more long trips to Ellicott City, Annapolis, or Cockeysville to get a delicious cup of froyo with all your favorite toppings! This is very exciting news!! This Yogi Castle location opened just two weeks ago and I have already been five times...at least. ^_^ When you first walk in, you are greeted by an friendly Yogi Castle employee. Head towards the back of the store to grab a cup (regular or large) and then fill it with one or all 14 flavors of froyo. I have a lot of favorites, but the cheesecake and cake batter are to die for. After your have filled your cup with frozen yogurt, the next step is to add toppings. You can choose from fresh cut fruits, sprinkles, cheesecake chunks, chocolate chips, mochi (delicious sweet rice cake, my favorite!), candy pieces, and about 20 other things. Then you put your cup on the scale and the cashier rings you up and you are charged by the ounce. Don't worry, they subtract the weight of the cup so you only pay for your froyo and toppings. Since the place is brand new, the place is very clean, neat and organized. The employees are upbeat and the yogurt is delicious. I hope it stays like this. My only complaint is that there are only a few seating options and the bench should have a table in front of it so you don't have to hold your yogurt while you eat it. **EDIT 6/24/11: I spoke too soon. I went last night and there were tables and chairs!

Self Serve frozen yogurt. It's a moment of pure bliss if your into frozen yogurt where you can pile on any topping you want. I would recommend the sea salted caramel, if you do.

What's great about Yogi Castle is the amount of flavors they have on hand. This type of "build your own dessert" places are starting to be extremely popular. Their variety is what brings people back. Very clean, and often very crowded with people who have just come from shopping or otherwise filtered in. There is seating inside, but if you head down between the Qdoba and Five Guys there's plenty of outdoor seating.

  • Josh W.

The yogurt here is very good, with a range of options including the reliable and excellent Euro Tart, and the toppings are fine and varied. Though their fruit isn't always of the best quality, that doesn't mean that it's not acceptable, simply that I've had better at some yogurt places (the now-defunct Mr. Yogato in Fells Point, comes to mind).

Last year I went on a frozen yogurt spree around Baltimore County and "Yogi Castle" in White Marsh won!!!! Second place went to both "Yolavie" at White Marsh mall and "Sweet Frog" (Perry Hall)!!!! I found that "Yogi Castle's" frozen yogurt was the creamiest of all!!!! I took one star out because they removed one of the best flavors from their menu "SEA SALTED CARAMEL", specially for being one of the most popular last year. :( Everything else rocks, including the customer service. Everybody is very friendly and helpful.

Yum! This place reminds me of Yogurtland, but I thought the yogurt was not as yummy. Don't get me wrong, I think the yogurt is fine, but nothing overly special and I've had better. There is a decent selection of toppings and I was pleased to see they had mochi (sweet Japanese rice cake) because it's my favorite topping. The "original tart" flavor is a Pinkberry copycat, so it's good if you enjoy Pinkberry. However, I find it to be a bit too acidic so I prefer to pick a few of the flavored yogurts. Overall, it's a clean, nice place and it's great for kids, since it's hands-on. But please, if you do bring your kids, watch them so they don't grab at the toppings or yogurt nozzles with their grubby little fingers, contaminating everything so the rest of us can't enjoy. There are enough employees to watch over the operations, but when the store is busy and full, it's hard to keep an eye on every single person.

Meh. It's okay. I guess. Good that they have a decent selection of flavors and toppings and it seems to be kept clean and well stocked. But I was underwhelmed by the texture and flavor of the fro-yo I bought on my only visit here. I'm not inspired to go out of my way to return but I suppose if I'm in the plaza I might give the place another shot.

Came here tonight with friends after getting pho, and we made a great life choice in doing so. This place is pretty cool. This is my first time going to a DIY froyo, and I wish all froyo places were like this. They have a great selection of flavors; I got the original tart, and it was spot on. I didn't have any of the exotic flavors since I firmly believe you shouldn't mess with an original, but what do I know. You can add your own toppings, and they have a great selection. Fruit, nuts, cookies, cereal, ect. I got mango, strawberry, and cookie dough in a regular cup and paid $4. I had plenty in my cup. It was delicious, and I will be back.

I never thought that there would be froyo in White Marsh. Being from Montgomery County, there were a handful of froyo places around, but I always had my favorite. I've visited this Yogi Castle location knowing that it won't match up to my place in moco. The employees are friendly - they greet you when you come in and ask if you want to try any samples. I liked the Irish Mint and Milk Chocolate flavors best, but it tastes more like soft serve ice cream than the frozen yogurt I was used to. The toppings bar has a great variety, ranging from nuts, to fresh fruits, crushed candies, syrups, cookies, and sprinkles. Self-serve froyo paid by the ounce. In addition to froyo, they had a menu for smoothies.

I would love this place even more if all their yogurt wasnt NON-FAT!!! GIVE ME MY FAT!!! I LOVE CALORIES! All the deserts are non fat :( Which makes it a decent healthy desert. I must say i love the modern look of this place. soon as i walk in i feel like a big kid in a candy store. Cold Stone better watch out b/c they have bit of competiton now :P This is another place that is good for kids.. after the soccer game or something Or even a cute little date ;)

To get frozen yogurt, I would drive to Ellicott City to get some. When Yogi Castle opened up in the White Marsh area, I was thrilled! Now, when I have that craving for frozen yogurt, I take a short drive to get some. This place is always packed but the lines move smoothly. I love the fact there is such a large variety of flavors of yogurt to pick from. It is great that the the flavors change but also great that some classic favorite flavors are always there too. There is a lot of toppings to chose from, including fresh fruits. My all time favorite flavors are the red velvet and the original. There are many flavors I have yet to explore but since the yogurts are so addicting, I'm sure I'll be here many times to try them all.

I am so happy that these type of yogurt shops have finally made it to Baltimore. This one is OK, not one of the best I've been to, but has the basic range of flavors - no Taro, which is my fave - and toppings. Love the sign on the wall advertising yogurt as a way to prevent cancer and lose weight. I guess I'll have to keep coming back!

  • Jonas C.

The coffee was good. I'm not much of a froyo guy, but I thought overall the place did a good job. A little bummed condense milk wasn't one of the toppings. available, it's normally one of my go to toppings. Yes, I know, contradictory, the "not much of a froyo guy" having go to froyo toppings.

Yogi Castle seems to have way more variety than other local self-serve froyo joints like Tutti Frutti and Yogoya. If you like it sweet and creamy (like I do), Yogi Castle's got awesome and unusual flavors like dulce de leche, snickerdoodle, and peppermint. For the fruity or tart flavor lovers, you'll find the usual peach, orange, banana, etc. And you can even get them with Activia. For me, the consistency is good; if a flavor is not quite set up, it might be a little runny coming out of the machine though. I don't think any of the self-serve froyo places can compete with the consistency of chains like Pinkberry or Golden Spoon, but those 2 are not self-serve, and what's the fun of that? The Yogi Castle store and website have nutritional info, which is great if you're like me and using froyo as a low-cal replacement for ice cream. The only downside is that Yogi Castle gets crowded, so the toppings bar can get a bit messy. Also, there's no outside seating except the curb of the parking lot.

I had to laugh when I walked in the first time because they said, "I get the feeling you haven't been here yet." Apparently my facial expression was like the boy who just walked into Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory. Like the flavors but because of the topping bar. It's great and will defeat the purpose of eating a healthy snack. It's cheaper than Cold Stone Creamery, too.

  • Laurie K.

A neat concept but very pricey. Why would I want to pay $5.50 for a small amount of frozen yogurt and some toppings... good but not worth is.
