This is my go to place for take out. I love the pan fried dumplings and beef and broccoli. The egg rolls are good too and always a good choice. I call on my way over and it's usually ready when I get there. The quality is consistent and good. The place feels clean inside so that's always a plus. Staff is friendly and quick! Take a shot at this place. Good take out!

The folks here are always very nice and polite, and they are always quite speedy. Pricing is average or less. I'm only giving 4 stars because it's not the best Chinese food I've ever had, but its cheap and convenient.

GREAT BIG DISAPPOINTMENT! We ordered soup, spring rolls, crispy beef, and mu shu chicken and NONE of it was good at all (not even the rice, wow). We ended up sitting in the waiting area waiting for our food for about 25 minutes. After waiting long enough, we finally found our food sitting on the counter bunched with the takeout ordered on the phone. Needless to say, we will NEVER return and do not recommend this restaurant.

We found Young Chow on Yelp when we were at Adventureland (amusement park) and wanted something better than their deep-fried carnival food options. Overall, it fit the bill well and provided incredible value for the money. Some of the food was lacking in taste, but they were very helpful and speedy and accommodated my special requests. Food: the chicken corn soup tasted like it was made with water instead of broth - it was mostly flavorless. The beef with broccoli was a big hit with the family - very flavorful with tender meat and bright green broccoli. The steamed dumplings were huge and very hot with a tasty meat filling and sauce inside. Note that these are "bread-like" dumplings, not thin rice paper wrappers, so they may heavier than what you're looking for. (My kids were just fine with them and wanted seconds.) We ordered a "diet" dish of steamed chicken with vegetables which came with a thick soy-ginger-sesame sauce on the side. The chicken was thin and tender and the veggies were fine - a good choice if you want to control the fat and salt you're consuming. Finally, we ordered lemon chicken which is normally made with deep fried chicken. They were happy to substitute steamed chicken for us, which I appreciated, but the chicken was a bit water-logged which diluted the mild lemon sauce that comes on the side. It was fine, but not something we'd run out to order again because the lemon sauce didn't have enough punch to it. Plenty of hot, white rice came along with the food. Value: we ordered 3 entrees, dumplings and a quart of soup to feed 2 adults and school-age kids. The total was $35.09 and we had enough food for 2 meals - a better value than McDonald's. I ordered over the phone and the cashier volunteered that I qualified to get a free item. It was nice that she brought it up instead of waiting to see if I knew about their offer. (We got a free carton of fried rice.) Speed: I called my order in then drove over, which took about 10 minutes. When I walked in everything was finished and already in the bag. It didn't look like they were working on any other orders, but I'm guessing they're speedy even if they've got a lot going on. Decor: It's billed as a carryout, so I didn't expect seating, but they do have several basic tables and chairs. I also saw a sign in the corner offering free Jasmine tea to anyone eating in. Nothing fancy, but it seemed clean and tidy. Bottom line: we'll go back if we're in the neighborhood and wanting an option that's healthier than fast food or pizza. If you order carefully you can have a great meal that's relatively low fat and full of vegetables.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
