Diabetics at TGI Friday
If you're a diabetic, then you must be extra careful while dining at TGI Friday. Try the salad menu at TGI Friday to keep your sugar and sodium intake in check. Soups are great to keep you full and satisfied without munching on the unhealthy greased meat-based dishes on TGI Friday menu.
Foods to Avoid at TGI Friday for Diabetics:
Sugar and sodium intake are crucial if you have diabetes. While the salads are the best option for you at TGI Friday, it is recommended to avoid the Pecan-Crusted Chicken Salad containing over 1000 calories and 1,650mg sodium. Also, skip Warm Pretzels with Craft Beer-Cheese dipping sauce as it contains more than 3000mg sodium. It is wise to skip the dessert for diabetics, especially the Brownie Obsession topped with Vanilla ice cream, caramel sauce, and pecans.

Food Suggestions to Maintain Cholesterol Level at TGI Friday
What a throw back, this place. Think of Friendly's as a cross between Baskin Robins and Sonic but the tidiness of a Denny's. Clearly I meant that as a compliment.

We have gone to this restaurant several times. The first problem was when we went in one of the servers was taking her break by sleeping with her head down on the table in the front corner of the restaurant. I don't know about you, but I would not want to be seated there after someone had their head down on it, not to mention it was right up front so did not look very proper. The menus were filthy, I know a lot of people touch them, but I have never seen them look so bad. My husband ordered the grilled cheese and soup combo but the grilled cheese was much smaller and flatter than it looked like in the menu. It was a very small dinner. My dinner was a patty melt and it was ok. The only good thing was the server we had (don't remember her name) was very nice. We went there on 916-2015 around 5:30 Thank you,

Well.... After several times of giving this place a chance I finally decided to give this place an honest review. When walking into the door, I'm always greeted right away and sat down. Usually it's plenty of seating because no one is ever really there. In the mornings I always order the three for all breakfast for $4.99. Everytime I order it, it comes out cheaply made. It sort of reminds me of a frozen banquet dinner from aisle 4 in a grocery store. Soggy French toast, nasty wet eggs, over cooked bacon, and over all bad service. I think I've given them more than enough chances to prove me wrong, but the service just gets worst and worst. I would never recommend this place for breakfast, the price is great, but the service is no good and the food is frozen dinner quality. Mush and syrup :-(

We go back and forth between this location and the Friendly's in Perry Hall, and this is definitely the black sheep of the two. First, getting ice cream takes freaking FOREVER; why does it take so long to plop out four scoops of ice cream? Second, the service is sub-par. The waitstaff seem like they're just going through the motions. When they come out with the wrong order, they blame the customer. Uncool and unprofessional. We've been there three times in the past six months and simply find Perry Hall to be a better experience. When we crave ice cream or Friendly's food, we're turned off by the idea of going to Timonium. Disclosure: we live in Timonium.

The food was good, but the service was terrible and meals were incredibly pricey- one milkshake cost $5 and there wasn't anything too incredible about it. My boca burger and fries took 20 minutes to come out and they left off the cheese and the lettuce ...

It's Friendly's. You don't go there for the quality. You go there to stuff decently tasting edibles into your mouth for a ridiculously cheap price. On my list of faves: Clamboat BBQ Chicken Sandwich Burger with the Fixings Vienna Mocha Chunk ice cream with Reese's Pieces. It's kinda a classic place to eat every now and then.

Food was delicious. But the service was terrible. I went with my 91 year old Aunt and found some black looking thing floating in my Vanilla Coke. So I sent it back and the waitress was talking bad things behind our back with the other co-workers. I was not happy at all. Very rude and disrespectful!

Went here again last night. Great service. I ventured out and got the strawberry shortcake Freez-z. It was pretty good. You know my question is if these restaurants are going to McDonaldize everything (referring to developing processes that are most efficient and cost-effective), then what makes them special. Why should I continue to patronize the establishment? I'm from the 'country' where there were as many Roy Rogers as was Wendy's. Roy's falls under the fast food chain sector; however, when you order a strawberry shortcake you get an authentic Roy Roger's Ice Cream delight. They take their biscuit (usually served with their awesome chicken), put it on the bottom, top it with vanilla ice cream and smother on a strawberry preserves concoction. By the way...the biscuit is ever so warm. What you get is a mouth full of goodness! (Yall I feel like Wendy Williams again...whew...yum.) So I'm here in the city....and I'm going to a place who's primary concern is ice cream and i'm left remembering. I totally think they are worth 4 stars when I think comparatively: where else are yall gonna go for a good experience? Friendly's is fun, the kids love it. I love the walk-up window. I love the flavor options. They had a special going (buy a super melt sandwich and get an ice cream for free.) I just was confused..why are the cake parts of the strawberry shortcake these little cake cubes that you could tell had been frozen to keep the flavor and shape. But! If you are like me.....you won't care too much because Roy Rogers just doesn't exist in this and nearby metropolitan cities (yes I'm talking about you beloved DC). So to be present is to be happy. LOL. The way things work...Roy's probably doesn't even serve the strawberry shortcake the way they used to. lol. geez

So many good memories here growing up. Sandwiches are good and ice cream/shakes are nice as well. Prices very fair. Real food that won't make you sick like McD's. I go sometimes with bro and sisters just to remember our childhood. Good times.

(05/28/2011) Adequate food, and yet we keep coming back; the Super Melts (I typically get the Reuben) on the plate look nothing like the photos in the menu . This particular Friendly's went through a recent remodel, but none of us can figure out what's different; and there's this weird vibe there, like no one (either patrons or staff) seems to want to be there. So why do we go? I scream, you scream, we all scream for ... !
