Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

Rasheem the GM asked his female employee who was attacked outside of Moe's to PROVE she was attacked. That guy does not care about the safety of his female employees. Boycott.

Great food and 90s menu with names of food like " the close talker" and "Art art vandelay"

My husband and I are regulars here, and have been big Moe's eaters since college in Jacksonville, FL. The first time I came to this place, it annoyed me... but I have since gotten over the little things since they always know what we want when we walk in. Gripes: No water at the soda fountain, you have to buy it... so I bring my own. Also, no traditional "Welcome to Moe's" greeting when you walk in. Lastly, business is always slow when I go, I think it's in a bad location and would probably do better closer to the Naval Air Station. Because of that, I fear they will close down and I will be devastated.

Not many places greet you with the enthusiasm of high-end ice cream parlors when you enter, but Rasheem, the GM here, has his staff trained well and they all yell, "welcome to Moes!" when you first walk in. The staff are all very friendly here, but that's only a small part of what keeps me coming back. I'm a big fan of ground beef in my burrito, and you simply can't get that at Chipotle or Baja Fresh. Qdoba has it, but personally I like Moe's menu better overall. They offer chicken, steak, pork and tofu on a wide variety if quesadillas, nachos, burrito bowls, tacos, salads and burritos. I also like that they have a kids menu, which you can't always find at the competition. Plus, Moe's is always running specials like "kids eat free on Wednesday", "free queso night", and "$1 off quesadillas" at the time if this review. Lastly, it's good to know they are health conscious and responsible in their food sources. As taken from their website, "the menu proudly boasts all-natural, cage-free, white breast meat chicken; steroid-free, grain-fed pulled pork; 100% sirloin, grass-fed steak; and organic tofu. At Moe's, there are no microwaves, no Trans fats and no msg." Given the competition, I'll take Moe's every time. My only complaint is there aren't more locations. But give it time, that is sure to change.

This place is alright...every now and then I will get the craving for Moe's instead of Chipotle. Their choice of toppings exceeds that of Chipotle...and sometimes you want some melted queso on your burrito. I'd stay away from their salsa bar except for the green tomatillo (the others are very bland). One thing I can't stand about this place that kinda keeps me from coming here more often is when they yell "Welcome to Moe's!" when you walk in and their ridiculous and meaningless names for their food items...it makes the whole experience kinda weird and awkward.

I'm going to say this place was just ok. Ordered the chicken bowl. The seasoned rice was bland and it didn't seem like it was freshly made. Chicken was kind of bland in my opinion. I had to add a bit of salt and pepper and salsa/sauce to my bowl. I'm not a fan of soda so I ordered a water and it was a little aggravating that I couldn't get water from the soda machine. I probably won't go back. If I want my quick fix for this type of food I'll head to Chipotle!

Quiet, clean, spacious. After reading Stef's review below, I checked to see if there was self-service water and there is... it's attached to the Sprite lever on the soda machine. No need to bring your own water. =) Moe's Monday is awesome - $5 for burrito, chips, and beverage. Open Monday - Sunday 11am - 9pm

Just had dinner here and the $5.99 Monday special is pretty great. Burrito, chips and drink included. I prefer Chipotle for taste but the staff here won me over. All great waitstaff and seemed genuinely glad to have us there. That's a big plus for this area where the service is sometimes lacking. I complimented the manager on the way out I was so impressed. I'll be back.

Stopped in for a quick lunch on our way to Calvert Cliffs. Found the food fresh and tasty, and served up fairly quickly. Great chips and loved the salsa bar! Our only drawback was that the youngest in our family do not like this cuisine, and that was the only cuisine on the kids menu (ie no chicken nuggets). Went down the sidewalk afterward to fill them up with DD bagels!

Expensive for the quality, not very good. Asked for water, they wanted price of a soda. They would only serve bottled, refused tap water. Won't be coming here again!

This is a great fast food joint. A healthier alternative than the typical fast food chain, they offer chicken, beef, and fish in their tacos, burritos, and nachos. It's a franchise of a national chain, and one of the better stores I've been in. They have free wi-fi access and plenty of space to spread out. Sometimes they have entertainment like clowns and musicians. I personally like it better when they aren't there.
