What I ate: Petite filet and crab cake dinner. Petite filet was absolutely gross. It had a very strange taste, almost what I imagine hand lotion would taste like. Absurd, I know, but that was actually my reaction. Maybe it spent too long in the freezer? I got back to my room and looked through the room service menu and saw that the guest before me had written "Disgusting!" next to the steak dish. Wish I had seen that before going down to the restaurant. Crab cake was pretty lame. I doused it in lemon to give it some flavor. This is by far the worst steak experience I've ever had. A title previously held by a diner experience I had when I was 14 (still remember it vividly). 1 star.

It was just ok. The pasta had too much oil for my taste. The chicken quesadilla was good, the veggies were fresh and al dente - the carrot cake offered as desert was simply a carrot cake muffin ( not very good ) with a dollop of whipped cream and a strawberry - I was disappointed in that. I'd eat there in a pinch but would think through my choices.

Was surprised to see such poor reviews for a double tree, but decided to go anyway. Our food was just fine. I had Philly cheesesteak and found it tasty. My wife had the crab cake and said it was very good. This is typical hotel food and as such, nothing to write home about. But the service, preparation and presentation of the food was perfectly acceptable and not terribly expensive

Bartenders are really nice, but that's about it. This is a basic hotel bar in the DoubleTree BWI. Nothing to see here. It's too bad there aren't other bars around. Food mediocre. Expect to pay out the bunghole. Bartender was telling stories about the club that USED TO BE in the hotel, but it closed in the mid 90's. The party started at lunchtime on Friday and everyone skipped afternoon work and partied through happy hour. Crazy lunches. Now- nothing. The days of this hotel's glory are long gone.

I was hoping for edible food after a late night flight and ended up having one of the best Cobb Salads. It had ripe avocado (and plentiful), awesome whole olives, real bacon crumbles, red grape tomatoes, egg, tender seasoned chicken and a great mix of greens. For $12 it was a deal! I also split the Pretzel Sticks with Crab Dip which were decent. The Boy got Old Bay wings which looked sad but he said they were adequate.
