On a thurs, Fr, sat you would think this is like a bar that belongs in the heart of DC! The bartenders are f-n awesome, their drinks are amazing, the servers are hot, and the food is restaurant quality (wings are off the chain!) . It's a great place to go and have a great time w/out having to go all down to DC. The DJ keeps it poppin and for people that arnt looking for such a "party" type atmosphere. Mon, Tues, Wed are a great time to go, more of a mature crowd. Regardless of age or gender, everyone has "their preferred day(s)" at LS!

It's ok. Was noisy for a meeting place. A friend and I were just going to grab a few drinks and catch up but it was so loud we couldn't hear each other. We left and went to hooters.
(3)Natasha P.
Great food and good people! It was my first time in attendance and I will be back if I'm in the area again.
(5)Maxfactor C.
I stopped by to find out if they show boxing fights. I sat at the bar and had a drink and order some grilled wings. The drink was great the wings was just alright. I will probably go back and stay a little longer.

Love this spot. My local watering hole. Good service. Good food I always get the fried green beans and chicken and a rum and coke it comes up to $13 bux!?!?? The happy hour is the cheapest I've seen. Who else has 3 dolla rails and 4 dolla Long Islands?!?? My favorite is karaoke on Wednesday nights. This white girl DJ is da bomb. Bartenders are a little busy just means they need to hire more help!

If you are going to just have fun with a group of friends, eat typically bar food, get drunk, pay an affordable prices and don't care about the environment - this place gets a 5. But, I'm getting older - blasting loud music doesn't always appeal to me but happy hour specials do. Karaoke is super fun here too!

This place was never a "nice place" but it was a bar.... I did serve wings. They were good and cheap at the start. Now they are cheap but the past two times I've went are nasty. Tasted liked wing that had sat in the window for way to long. And covered in hot sauce. This will be the last time I go here!

Good luck getting acknowledged when you sit down if you don't look like a typical person from PGC! It was 6pm on a Monday. We came in with two families and sat for ten minutes being the only white folks in a not so busy bar that must've been minority owned as we felt completely out of place. After ten minutes of no hello or anything including standing at the door and finally seating ourselves, we ended up just leaving.

Great place in which I would definitely go again. I attended this place after my holiday party with co workers and we all had a great time. Only had one drink due to the fact we were already sipping prior to attending this facility. Great music and mixed crowd.

If you want great drinks and good bar food. this is a must visit. The bartenders are really cool but my personal favorite is Chris. He always have something new up his sleeve. They have a DJ that plays during the weekend and it can get VERY loud! Now if you don't like the laid back type of crowd this isn't the place for you. This is a COME AS YOU ARE AND LET'S DRINK type of place.
(4)Angela O.
Best long islands in town and a generous happy hour. This place is eclectic, live music, a juke box or a DJ. It takes a while to get served when they're jumping but that's to be expected. The menu looks great, but I haven't gotten past the booze yet ;)
(4)Danielle W.
GREAT WINGS! Especially the Sweet Chili flavor. Great drinks. Very chill atmosphere so don't expect anything too fancy. The late nights can be a little loud because of the DJ. As long as you're just in the mood to turn up a bit, this is for you.
(4)William M.
The drinks are good but the service has taken a downward turn lately. I really used to like going... not so much anymore. The food got cheaper tasting and like I said before the service has gotten bad lately. They had me wait 1.5hrs on a Saturday afternoon for steamed shrimp... of course it was free but still, even frozen shrimp which they claimed to have used thaws and can be cooked within 30 min. STEAMED.

I was hearing some talk about this spot from a few of my Red Sky friends. So me and another friend went to check this place out on a Friday night about an hour before closing. How can I describe this place? You ever seen a teen movie or an after school special where the kids go for burgers and shakes after class lets out? Well LS is a Hip Hop version of this sort of a scenario. Imagine coming in here to see a multitude of Lil Waynes, Lil Jons, and Lil whoevas. And instead of burgers and shakes being served, its more like burgers, Bone Crushers, and Remys straight. So now I'm thinking, where's Megan Good and Lauren London?? Sorry to disappoint, but no sexy cheerleader types here, maybe a few strippers and waitresses that just got off work. But, that's about it. (I'm jokin' there were a few cute ones). The music was on point! The spot is almost like a club. Definitely a neighborhood feel where, everyone has history and goes waaaaay back. Although we just had a drink. I will definitely do this again and next time try the food, because the buffalo wings was lookin some kinda good! Overall it was a chill vibe people were having fun, walking around talking, and two-steppin to the music. PG Police had the whole back of this establishment gridlocked, so you definitely don't have to worry about no mess going down. All and all not bad, always good to have a place like this where you simply can come as you are. I see you Laurel ha-ha!

Had a yelp deal for this place and went there on a Tues..karaoke night with a live dj joining in on th fun. We had a blast! Yes they do have $3.00 to $5.00 appetizer and drink specials! Ordered the mozz sticks, sliders and the wings. Can't go wrong with any of these. Also had the long islands and margaritas. Man they make some good drinks. Drink enough...you will get up there and sing. lol

Took over 2 hours to get a salad, a sandwich, and a burger. They were out of every app we tried to order and had to remake the salad and we never got our sweet potato fries. The only saving grace was our waitress, who was trying to make the best of a bad situation.

Laurel Station has a great location and have great food. I visit pretty frequent especially during large events such as boxing matches on ShowTime and other channels that they show at Laurel Station. On any other regular nights they have staff who somewhat run around and grab orders and sometimes become overwhelmed especially during large events so expect delays in food and drinks. I would suggest that management employ more staff to accommodate the larger crowd. The drinks and food are well priced and not watered down. Overall, I like to support local businesses and provide as much feedback as possible. It mostly seems that individuals who come in for happy hour or any other events are those who live locally in the Laurel area. I think this place brings a nearby bar style setting to the Laurel region. Great place to be during the weekend; good place to rock to music, eat great good, and drink reasonably priced beverages.

I'm giving this place four stars for a number of reasons. The food is never bad, the drinks are always perfectly normal to pleasantly strong, the music is always "festive", meaning, if you felt like dancing, you totally could without feeling out of place. Laurel station is what this area has been needing for quite sometime. It's your traditional sports bar setting, nothing terribly special, but they have something that's hard to find elsewhere. Good, consistent food, friendly staff (which doesn't change frequently), and a group of regulars that are absolutely awesome. It's an awesome place to watch the games on Sundays, or any other day for that matter. Go for happy hour, or late night for a low key party. It's not pretty, so don't expect that, but it's a solid place to have a good drink and a meal with some current music, without having to travel into the city. Also, the owners are ALWAYS there, which goes to show the pride and responsibility they take for their establishment, and it shows.
(4)Dedrie S.
We frequent Laurel Station at least once a week. The food is always consistent and I have never had to send anything back. They have tons of tvs, so there are always options to watch different sports. I have found that we get better service and drinks when we sit at the bar. It becomes kind of suspect when you sit at one of the tables...your service could be stellar or you can end up waiting 25 minutes for a drink. Overall a good option to have in Laurel, if you aren't feeling Fridays or find Red Sky too expensive.

I'm not sure what to say about this place...geez let's just start from the beginning. Location: RIght off of Rte 1 going towards 198 on the right hand side. It doesn't say Laurel Station it says LS. Initially, I was a bit confused. The parking is fair at best. Ambiance: Picture a big 'ol open room, with a bar smack dab in the middle. Yep that's about it. Lot's of bar tables, regular tables and booths surrounding this big ol bar. Lot's of tvs, sports memorabilia etc. It was pretty cool to see, it was like thee neighborhood spot IMO, you had folks chillin in the corner playing chess, (I mean who does that at a bar) and then this really secret room in the back that folks kept coming in and out of. Wait, it was only men. I honestly didn't think I was cool enough to enter, so I didn't. Food: I tried the wings; they were on special that night, fries, cheeseburger sliders. The food itself was good. The fries had that good old bay, the chicken wings were cooked right- that chipotle bbq was on point! The cheeseburger sliders were delish! Can't go wrong with good bar food. Sounds good, right? Oh it was. Now here in lies my issue; SERVICE: There were two lovely ladies tending the bar, I have no idea if it was because of where I was sitting, if it was because I am a girl and I'm fly (yea I said it) and I was with a guy they wanted or what. All I'm saying is, I had to try too hard to get everything. When I first got there all was well, after that, it was like pulling teeth to get them to come over. The bar really wasn't THAT busy, seriously I have seen bartenders do better with more folk. Look, y'all should know by now, I like to drink, I like to have fun, I like to drink, I LIKE to drink, I LIKE TO DRINK. I take care of bartenders, that is IF you take care of me. She just wasn't present. As a result, *cues Kendrick* ....don't kill my vibe, cuz seriously she almost did. I'd like to come back, but I hate competing for attention. It's a bummer too because they have good drinks, good food and a pretty decent HH. We'll see.
(2)Kisha S.
Lala the bartender was cool and nice... Good crowd and good music. Menu has good food and appetizers. Stopped in because we got a #NYE babysitter.
(4)Briana T.
Laurel Station has one if the most reasonably priced happy hour menus I have ever seen! I had chicken nachos for 6 dollars. The reg chili nachos were 4 dollars. I went with a group of co workers and we all purchased the deal from yelp so we got $20 worth of food and drinks for $10! Brandon was our bartender and he was really fast and kept our cups full. I will be back soon!!
(4)Terri C.
Wow how about no Stars for this place. Laurel Station you need a Bar Rescue. Went there yesterday just for drinks & I'm glad I wasn't hungry. Note this was a beautiful Saturday around 3:30 pm. My friend asked for a Stella beer but the tap was empty. Then he asked for Blue Moon but they had no freaking oranges - what decent bar on the weekend has not at least replenished their stock by late Saturday afternoon. Plus they have bar stools that are ripped up and worn out. Get rid that stuff. I had the Smith & Forge cider - that was the only plus!

My fiancé and I showed up to watch the Redskins Game and get a few drinks. To out surprise this bar was completely packed. No tables or bar seats available. So we left after it took 20 minutes of us standing at the bar yet no one came over to get our drink order. We left and went down the street where we were served promptly. POOR!!!
(1)Karla W.
Ok drinks. Coolest place I've found in laurel so far. Best part is the DJ. Pass on the food except the wings. Ordered chicken nachos and all the chicken was cold. They also charged my card for someone else's tab. Best nights are friday and Saturday. Football season is when this place gets fun.
(2)Lisa A.
Does any one happen to know why they closed down Laurel Station permanently? What happened?? Or how can u find out? Thanks.
(3)Mia P.
Um... This is a dive bar 100%. Strong drinks sketchy patrons and greasy food. I'm in love. My new secret spot.... Well not anymore.... Amazing ladies night 4 drinks for $10.....a steal Wings were delish... Crispy and tolerable for the non spicy lovers such as myself. Only one star lost.... They were out of bacon for our potato skins. Blah.
(4)Lenard A.
Nice spot for sports TV everywhere. the food is alway difference depending on who is in the kitchen ,the drink are a liitle heavy but that's good, not a bad crowd open late
(4)Marcus B.
Look it is a BAR. It is a spot that is open all the time. Yes it might be a little crowded. But overall, they have great drink specials.
(3)Tisha S.
local bar, service was slow as they didn't have enough people working. drinks were good, food decent.
(3)Alyssa A.
Food - 4 Stars Service - 5 Stars People - 1 Stars The wings were delicious! My boyfriend got a chicken sandwich and I got a tuna sandwich which were all good. Watch out for the hot wings -- they are really hot!! The atmosphere was sort of weird but we really enjoyed the food and it was really cheap. They have happy hour like everyday sunday -- check out their prices ahead of time.
(3)Eric E.
Hmm came in on a Sunday evening and it was fairly empty. First off they were out of crab cakes, OK give me wings and another Heineken. "Sorry were out of Heineken"! Needless to say I wasn't here very long tonight. Carry-Out please.
(3)Delia H.
Love this place went there EVERY Friday , but are they now closed? Is there another place like it in the area?
(5)Moe A.
This is by far the worst restaurant experience ever!! I called to place an order for pick after placing me on hold for 5mins, they hung up on me. I called back and eventually someone answered. First, the menu on the website is totally old so everything I asked for I was told they longer carry. I finally decided to order teriyaki chicken which the website clams comes with rice and vegetables. I walk into the restaurant and the waitress where standing around, talking loudly and playing around. I get home the teriyaki chicken is completely dry and I don't have any rice and vegetables. I called thinking it was a mistake and I was told they no longer have it on their menu. I had no idea I was just paying for 4 pieces of chicken stripes, no sides at all. The manager never apologize, instead she just said well thats what you ordered. By far the worst experience ever and the food was absolutely horrible!
(1)Patricia R.
They have delicious wings!!!!!

Ghetto ghetto and more ghetto. Ugghh. Go at ur own risk, unless you too are....GHETTO. Young servers who have no clue about the service industry apparently, managers who don't care, and super slow service. Oh, and the bathroom has been dirty everytime I've used it, which has been plenty (me and beer don't get along) Used to stop here to watch the Sunday games but then....received some damn near raw buffalo wings, traded it for a well done burger that was cooked to beyond death, then the barmaid almost gets into a brawl with a patron. Aye, aye aye ENOUGH!! Back to Red Sky where the adults know how to get their drink on in peace (well, sometimes).

Stopped here for dinner on Wednesday evening. No hostess, so apparently you just seat yourself. Table service was very friendly, but also very slow and forgetful. Draft beer was very cold and well poured. NY strip steak didn't resemble a NY cut at all and was largely gristle. Baked potato side came out about 10 minutes after I was finished eating. Wife had "fish and chips" which consisted of two obviously-frozen, thin, overcooked tilapia fillets worthy of any high-school cafeteria. Getting drink refills was painful. No evidence of a manager working the floor. Typical PG urban-fabulous vibe complete with excessively loud music and excessively loud patrons with lots of cursing enjoying their Heinekens and Hennessey. The double reserved parking spots right out front for police should be a tip-off. Could be a nice place -- just not my kind of place. Could also be out of business within a year if management doesn't improve service. I wouldn't suggest bringing children or the grandparents here. Nice big bar and looked like good service at the bar.

Met up with friends anticipating an evening of conversation, drinks and appetizers. Arrived at Laurel Station around 4:30; no hostess, so we made our way to a table by the bar. After waiting about 5 minutes, a fellow dashed out of the kitchen dropped menus on the table and said the bartender would be with us shortly. We noticed there was only one bartender and no wait staff so we waited patiently. When he finally arrived, we asked about Happy Hour specials. He gave us a separate menu and took our drink order. When he brought them, we ordered 4 appetizers. We then proceeded to sit there for way over half an hour with no appetizers, no second drink, no service! When we went to the bar to inquire about the delay, we were told he was waiting on the quesadilla to be made. What? First off where were the other dishes and why were we not even being asked if we needed another drink? We were about to pay for our drinks and leave when the bartender emerged with our order, minus the quesadilla. We told him to just forget about the quesadilla and leave us our bill since we had decided we would be leaving after having our appetizers. We should have just left....the cheeseburger sliders were over cooked on dry buns, and the chicken bites were average with dressing sprinkled all over them instead of a separate dipping sauce. The fried green beans were good, seasoned with a little kick, but since they had probably been sitting in the kitchen for quite a while before being served, they were not as hot as they should be. Overall, a disappointing visit. For a Friday evening, it is poor management to only have one bartender and no wait staff. Oh, and I forgot to mention they had a DJ who played music at various levels from loud to ear splitting. We will be crossing Laurel Station off of our list of places to visit.

I had an expired Groupon so I decided to check it out. The value of the Groupon was still honored. It was a Wednesday so there wasn't a big crowd. TVs are small but with so many all over it wasn't an issue. Good music playing. Staff was friendly. I was informed of the daily $5 appetizer specials. I ordered some jerk grilled wings...sooo good. My nachos were smothered in the nacho sauce and became soggy quick...blah I only ate half. The hubs had a burger and it was juicy, cook to order and delicious! I will go back for drinks and apps or to watch sporting events.
(3)Maxine J.
The menu is great. The drinks are off the chain. The crowd is ratchet, I have to be honest. There were 4 Laurel PD cop cars outside and about 7 people smoking outside. The service was wack. There was a male bartender who was great and very attentive, but the female bartender was not attentive, paused and had to think about the answer whenever you asked her a question, and DIDN'T tell us about the $6 wings for happy hour! I stiffed the shit outta her, I sure did! The music was also good.
(4)Ashley H.
A true bar in Laurel. You don't find these too often other than the ones inside of chain restaurants. This place has a pretty decent selection of beer on tap (including my personal favorite - Guinness YUM). They have good happy hour specials from 4-8 M-Sat and all day on Sunday. The crowd is a very mixed bag. I was there on a Satruday around 7:30 and most of the people there were 20s-30s (a younger crowd than a lot of the bars in the area). We sat at the bar and the service was pretty good. The food is your typical bar food. I got a buffalo chicken salad which was enough for two meals (yay leftovers!) and was basic but tasty. The liquor shelves are very well-organized which I loved (I know, I'm a nerd). All in all, not a bad local hangout spot. I've heard the wings are good but I'm not a wing person. I will say that the buffalo sauce on the chicken in my salad was pretty awesome. Not sure what the late-night crowd is like but I definitely plan on visiting this place again.
(3)Quince B.
I stopped in here on a Friday Night, I didn't try any of the food, but people were eating it so I'm guessing it's typical sports bar food. The drinks were OK, and the waitress was cool, but this just wasn't my type of place. For those looking for a more mature, grown environment, head up the street to Red Sky, Laurel Station is not that type of environment. This place is more of a hood spot, guys that still sag, and chicks that like guys that still sag, lol. Music is LOUD, definitely not a date spot, and the police sit outside in the parking lot.
(2)Michael H.
So nice to have a non chain in Laurel. $4 Long Islands and $5 apps at HH = money. I am generally pretty good at hyperbole but no exaggeration this place has the best wings I have ever had in my life. I hate soggy wings and these stayed crispier than any buffalo wing I have ever had. So much so that you can hear the crackle when you bite into them. Oh they also played 93 Til Infinity and some Tribe. My bathing suit area was tingling.
(5)Royce R.
I heard a lot about LS. So last night I went by to watch some college football and NBA hoops. Upon entering the restaurant I quickly noticed there was no greeter... This was weird for the place to be as big as it is on the inside. There is a huge bar area but there are many tables all throughout the place. No big deal; I seated myself in the corner by one of the big screen TV's. My waitress showed up about 5 minutes after I sat down & she was cool. The highlight of this place is the Happy Hour specials for sure... wings for $5 bucks & mix drinks at $4 bucks. These great places are in effect till 8pm; NICE! There are TV's of all sizes just about everywhere you look which makes for a good viewing when the place gets crowded. Some of my friends said LS is like a club... Now I know why; there was a DJ near the entrance playing Hip Hop music after 8pm. ha,ha,ha If you are a sports fan this is a good place to chill & watch a game. Also, I heard Tuesday & Thursday nights they have a poker room.
(3)April S.
I passed this spot a couple of time on my way to work, and this past Sunday, I decided to check it out. First, when I pulled up in my car, I liked that they had alot of parking which is good, BUT I didn't like the fact that there were some "wanna be" thugs outside. Ok...so I went in...it wasn't crowded, which was cool with me. The spot was very clean. Flat screens every where. I sat at the bar and the bartender asked me what I would like. He was nice. I just had a beer so I can't tell you if the food is good or if a mixed drink is pricey here. BUT all in all, I think its a cool spot to come to, to watch a game or just hang out. It's your average bar. I would like to come on a night when it's really busy to see if I feel the same way.
(3)Jeneen C.
I have been to Laurel Station a few times during the week for happy hour. The service, bartenders, food and drink specials were all great! Haven't run into any problems or drama. Definitely will be back!
(4)Mark R.
This place is new and really nice. Went there for MNF and was impressed. The service was a little slow, but with such a huge crowd, it wasn't that bad. Love the energy in this place.
(4)Lisa C.
Great happy hour specials and the food is pretty good too! Ladies night on Thursdays. Only negative comment would be the music is too loud during the day. I understand the music being loud late night but not when your trying to watch a daytime game. It is nice to have a decent sports bar in Laurel.
(3)Ashely B.
The food here is very basic, and if I were to call it anything, it would be "fast food wanna-be restaurant." The drinks are so-so at best, but they have some of the worst bartenders, so it makes sense. The music is loud and good, but the crowd is a bunch of 30 year old's with higher then minimum wage jobs, Jr. military, or government douche bags who don't know what to do with themselves or their money. They are still living this biker club fantasy and trying to be 90's thug gangsters...and they bring along the women that are attracted to that. Do not bring a date here. You come here to get over getting dumped and not caring when you step on the dancefloor half taken over by the big useless doorman they have INSIDE.
