Great hole in the wall serving real country sweet potato desserts! Pies, breads, and more! Everything was delicious and homemade. Keith had a lot of great enthusiasm about his handiwork and it shows! Definitely worth the drive.

New to the area and stopped here based on the Yelp reviews. They were definitely true!!! Sweet potato pie and sweet potato bread were both scrumptious. The perfect amount of sweetness. Can't wait to stop by again next time I'm in town! I love supporting local businesses

The HYPE is real. I've been waiting for almost 3 years to make it for Breakfast on a Saturday morning. It does took a minute to figure out how to get to the store but once you do you wont be disappointed. I recognized Keith outside the door and told him that I read his Yelp reviews. He went over the menu with me. At first I decided to get TWO breakfast platters for my boyfriend and I. He then let me know it was enough for two people which it was. The young man behind the counter started giving me samples of everything - Keith knows his way with sweet potatoes! Since I felt like he saved me some extra cash I got a mini pie and some sweet potato bread too. As some have described, the breakfast platter came with super seasoned cut potatoes, large sweet potato pancakes and eggs. I need to hit this place up again soon!

A hidden gem in Laurel. Made it out on a Saturday focused on some sweets. Ended up with a pie, cupcakes, and pudding. WOW. Plan to make it out for breakfast next time. You can order meals in advance as well.

Great sweet potato pies, breads and chicken salad. We went there the Saturday before thanksgiving -hoping to get the pancakes - but before the holidays the kitchen only churns out desserts. But Keith made sure we didn't go away hungry by giving us generous samples of everything. We left with a pie and bread. We'll be back for the pancakes! Tip: Waze took us to the new shopping mall/ movie theater instead. Keith's is across the street tucked back in a industrial park. Hard to find but worth it. He had a sign in the parking lot to help guide you.

I'm Kelly K Founder of Shiftn Steel Sport Riderz! I ride from Baltimore to get Keiths fantastic sweet potato pies! Better than the best homemade pie that you ever had,if you don't believe it give him a try! He also has his pies in Wegmans so you can get the fresh tasting pie! Keith is a great guy and sell great food!

The snackers have become my official snack and I share them with everyone I know. They are heavenly! How I eat them...pop one in and let it melt on my tongue and savor all the taste and my buds are poppin'! Love them!

Wow! This place is a hidden gem. Actually, this place is ridiculously difficult to find, but once you discover this bakery, you won't be disappointed. Came here a day before Thanksgiving, hoping to get the sweet potato pie. Turns out you pretty much have to pre-order due to the high demand of their pies. (Was directed to Wegman's, as they carry Keith's pies). Left with the BEST sweet potato bread in hand, and ended up going to Wegman's for his sweet potato pie. Keith's bread was fresh, moist, and delish! It's a small place, but Keith and the employees are warm, charismatic, and down to earth! Will definitely be coming back here!

Keith is a phenomenal man. Seriously. Why? I'll tell you why. Hold your horses and read baby! I had 3 bookmarks all in Laurel and coincidently, they were all places that served sweets. I stopped by the Laurel Meat Market to get their home made pies then I went to the Dutch Country Farmers Market to get their breads and pumpkin pie. And then! I decided to get some Sweet Potato treats at Keith's. My Google Maps GPS on the phone lead me to Hooters... Odd, so I decided to call the place and Keith picked up and informed me that the place is only open on Saturdays and that they have a food truck up during the week. I was NOT happy. In fact I was upset. I heard a lot of good things about this place and it says on Yelp that it was opened during the time I was visiting. I didn't express my feelings to him, I just kinda understood and said things like "Okay, I understand" and "Alright". But then he told me "You coming here just to find out we're closed, I can't do that to you." Immediately I choked. I could feel the tears starting to come up. He let me come to his place and told me how to get there and even though I missed the exit twice and had to U turn multiple times, I finally found this hidden gem. It's hidden behind a bunch of Auto Body's and Repair shops. It's all the way at the end and you won't see anything about it until you're actually there. So keep your eyes open! I get there and he greeted me. He looks like a skinny version of the rapper DMX. He told me what's been going on with his business and stuff like that. He sold me some of the stuff that were in the freezers and fridge. He said he was in the process of making more at the moment but they won't be done for another few hours. Okay that's cool. So I got his 6 inch Sweet Potato Pie and the Sweet Potato Bread Pudding. I went home and tasted the Bread Pudding and it was really good. Just a tad bit too sweet for me until I got myself a cup of milk. Absolutely divine. Same goes for the pie. They were both really good. Imagine if I got them both fresh.... Keith is a very outgoing and friendly individual. His recipes don't lie either, they're pretty damn tasty.

Tried this place for the first time today. I had to try it based on the great reviews and I'm so glad I did! Service: Five star service! Keith himself was there and greeted us with a big smile. Asked was it our first time, I said yes and he brought out tons of samples for us to try and everything was amazing! Freshly made, not a bunch of preservatives! The service alone makes me want to come back! Food: Five stars! My baby and I sampled the pie, bread, chicken salad, sweet potato pudding and a few other things. My picky 2 year old enjoyed the samples. I purchased the sweet potato bread which is so moist and full of flavor and two sweet potato cupcakes which my son and I just devoured with a tall class of cold milk! Overall this place is awesome and I can't wait to bring my husband for breakfast Saturday morning!

So today my boyfriend suggested we finally try out the sweet potato pancake breakfast from Keith's and it's the BOMB! It was enough that my boyfriend and I split it and we're both full. The eggs, potatoes, turkey bacon and sweet potato pancakes were delish! I love big breakfast, so this just might be a regular thing for me. Keith's is great and you should definitely try it out if you haven't.

From the moment my fiancé and I walked in, the place attracted out attention. We are trying to organize what desserts we want for our wedding and this place was discovered via Yelp so we decide o check it out. Once we walked in, we noticed the cleanliness of the establishment despite it being in an industrial area. Service: It was cool to be able to interact with the owner directly. He came from the back, introduced himself and started offering us samples. He made sure we did not leave without trying a piece of all his products. They value their customers and it shows in their business practice. Quality: This is hands down the BEST sweet potato pie, bread and bread pudding place I've came across my entire 7 years in this area. The pie was amazing. The bread pudding was perfect. The bread was warm and damn good!! Highly RECOMMENDED!!!!! Don't just take my word, try it for yourself.

(***Don't be swayed by the location! Although it is in an industrial-type park, you would be cheating yourself if you don't stop by & treat yourself!***) The sweet potato bread there is PHENOMENAL!!! You absolutely MUST try it!!! I tried it first on Saturday and here it is Monday & I'm back for more. I also sampled the chicken salad today and it was really great!

Keith's has possibly some of the BEST chicken salad I have ever had in my life, lol. I went to a cooking demo here and wound up purchasing some cooking oil and a bottle of spices. I also got the granola bites--which were divine. They have a sweet potato pancake breakfast (with eggs and turkey bacon) on Saturdays. The place is very small so the wait may be long. The pancakes were awesome!! You didn't even need syrup. This place like the name says is a "treat." I should add, it's very hard to find off of Route 1.

Keith is super nice. He has put a very delicious slant on the sweet potato as a dessert feature. I enjoyed the gluten-free souffle.

Turn left as you drive in the complex from Route 1......then right towards a dead end driveway...where car repair shops are. Its really good pies.

Read the reviews on yelp almost a year ago when I started working in Laurel and finally had the chance to go. When I got there, Keith himself greeted me and immediately I liked the place. I went will the sole objective to get sweet potato bread but then Keith asked if I'd like to try their chicken salad; I never turn down samples. Well, I ended up buying half a pound. It took my salad that day from a 1 to a 5. So delicious, tasted fresh and disappeared quickly. My dessert, the sweet potato bread, was also outstanding and disappeared quickly. Will definitely be going back!

I came 10 minutes after they closed and the guy was still nice enough to get me samples of all of their different products. I left with a 6 inch sweet potato pie ready for Pi day!

---4.5 stars--- After reading this article in the Gazette - bit.ly/mnrDwE - my wife's been wanting to try Keith's Treats & Eats. "Meeh," I initially thought. Sweet potato bread? Let's just say it didn't rank high on my list of things to try in the DMV.. B

I finally made it to Keith's! It was worth the wait. The service here is top notch. Keith himself seems like a great boss and an overall sweetheart. The food is worth every bite. I'm already itching to get back. The baby and I stopped here while running errands on a Monday afternoon. This place can be hard to find. Turn into the Laurel Commerce Center and follow the signs for Keith's (written in green) and you will have no trouble. This small little shop is producing some great natural treats and eats. The little one and I were in a hurry but we did get to sample the sweet potato bread, sweet potato pie, sweet potato cookie, and chicken salad. I could have walked out with 20 bags of goodies. Oh yum! I stuck to my original plan and took home some bread and bread pudding. Next time, I will do cookies and chicken salad for sure! Maybe a mini pie for my little guy too. Don't get me wrong, the bread and bread pudding were good and almost great. My bread was very dense and a bit too crumbly for my taste. After having the bread pudding at Kloby's, I'm a bit partial. I did like the texture and glaze of Keith's bread pudding better. I wish it hadn't been topped with raisins. They just aren't my favorite. Others would probably ooh and ahhh over it. The cookie I sampled was still warm from the oven made with oats, agave, chocolate chips and of course sweet potatoes. Best cookie I've had in a very long time. Baby boy liked it too. The chicken salad was unlike any I've had. I can't even describe it to you with words. I need a bucket of this ASAP and a fork! I'm not a pie fan, but my boy's face lit up when I gave him a taste of the sweet potato pie. I think he would give it 5 stars! It's only been two days and I'm already scheming to work their Saturday pancake breakfast into my schedule. Along with some goodies to go :) *If you can't make it to the shop in laurel, look for their goodies at Wegman's!

Keith is amazing. I'm not a fan of sweet potato but I loved everything here. If you are a first timer, three sit you down and give u a plate. I loved the off menu turkey pot pie with fresh spinach. The pies and cookies are also very good.

This place is amazing. I had a hard time finding it. I would never expect to find a bakery, let alone an awesome one, in an industrial park that I had only ever been in to visit car repair places. To boot, it's tucked away around a corner so you have to look for the light green signs. I was skeptic when I finally found it but my fiance and i ventured in. Boy, am I glad we did! Keith is the man. He's energetic and passionate about what he's doing. A great salesman. He offered us samples of everything - sweet potato bread pudding, sweet potato pie, sweet potato pudding, pound cake, sweet potato bread, and snackers. Everything was amazing! It was fresh and moist and flavorful but still light. I was practically full when we left but still wound up buying a mini loaf of sweet potato bread, a container of sweet potato pudding, and a container of snackers. The store front is small and inviting once you step inside. There's a small refrigerator to the left with freshly made treats. A counter is immediately in front of you and the entire kitchen is open and visible. All of the walls are vibrantly colored and there's a small eating area. Apparently they do sweet potato pancake breakfast on saturday mornings. I'm definitely going to have to check that out! I highly recommend this place. The products are made from natural ingredients, are healthier than normal bakery items, reasonably priced, and DELICIOUS!

I had to update this place to 5 starts. For christmas I placed another order since I had alot of family coming into town. I ordered the sweet potatoe bread, a large order of pudding, as well as a pie. My family flipped over the pudding and the bread. It was all gone within 2 days. When you order from Keith expect fresh, delicious products, made with care that will be ready on time. My family loved it so much we wanted to go to Wegmans to get more for additional family members. Because I love this place so much, I also brought one of my friends a small sweet potatoe bread from Wegmans. I called him to see how he liked it only to find he had eaten the entire thing in the car on the drive to pick up his wife from Alexandria to DC. Thats how good it is people, it will cause you to become a glutton!

This place is the BEST! I visited on Saturday and as the other reviewers stated I was given a tasting of all the available items. I ended up buying the chicken salad, oatmeal cookies and 2 sweet potato pies 1 for myself and 1 for a friend at work. Whenever we find something amazing we buy two and share. The chicken salad is different than traditional chicken salad but soooo good, the 1/2 pound I purchased was finished by Sunday morning. The cookies were delightful....just the right amount of cinnamon and raisins. And what can I say about the sweet potato pie....well let's just say after my husband and I had ours last night, I seriously considered just telling my co-worker that I forgot his...lol. But it would be a sin not to share Keith's tasty treats with the world. I intend to go back this weekend to try their sweet potato pancakes and buy more cookies, their energy bars and sweet potato bread....I know it's alot DON"T JUDGE ME! Everything there is just that yummy!!!!

THANK YOU KEITH! Finally, a fulfilling, health conscious lunch. THANK YOU KEITH...the mayor should give you a key to the city. Laurel has been upgraded. Before I tell you about the food..let me explain that Keith (Monique and the staff) are beautiful people. They are pleasant and attentive. There is a positive energy that flows through the restaurant/carry out/bakery. You forget that the neighboring establishments are automobile shops and are transformed by the delicious aromas and the genuinely polite owner and staff. Yes, I admit this is only my second time and I will let you know if anything changes but for now, Keith's Treats is my spot for lunch. The first time I was offered samples (kind of scared me..this is unheard of..you are going to let me taste before I purchase). Keith is a genius...I purchased everything I sampled and two things I did not sample. I'm not a pig..I shared the sweet potato cake with icing, the sweet potatoes bread pudding, the sweet potato banana pudding with about 5-6 people. But for me and only me, I enjoyed the best chicken salad sandwich and the best oatmeal, chocolate chip raisin cookies. The sandwich and cookies was delicious and filling. I did not have any drop in energy for the remainder of my work day and managed to do an hour in the gym before going home. So today, I thought I would try the chicken sandwich again, but they were out...but Monique was prepared to make me one! But I took that as a sign that I needed to try something else. Can you say tilapia seasoned to perfection, cabbage and rice? Yes, you can say it and Keith will give it to you and you will love it. So just to complete the explosion on my palate...I opted for the honey, oats, and raisins snackers. No more candy bars, no more cereal bars, no more ice cream bars! These are my bars of choice. I hope Keith maintains high standards and qualities. He is setting a high bar for Laurel, MD...and I can appreciate that.

I'm writing this review with missed feelings. 1) I want to share the love I have for this place and 2) it's going to become more crowed and I'm not going to be able to get my fix becaue he's going to sell out. I drive almost 40 minutes from Baltimore to get what I want. Usually when I get there I end up buying a little bit of everything because I don't know when I will make the trip again. Keith is wonderful aside from his employees. He remembers name and orders and he answers the phone himself at times. He had a "Sweetheart" special this past weekend for $25.00. Well worth it, 2 lump crab cakes (no filler), yellow rice, vegetables and sweet potato corn bread. OMG Keith, you did your thing. I purchased 4 dinners, 3 mini pies, chicken salad sandwich (another must) and sweet potato pudding. It was worth the money and drive. I haven't tried the Saturday breakfast yet because of my schedule but I'm going to work some magic to get out there. The location isn't pretty BUT who needs all of those bells and whistles. Another fact I love about this place is when you're a first-timer, Keith has one of his employees gather a "sample" tray for you. You get bite sizes of the different items being sold. Great idea. I have to share so I encourage everyone to make at least one trip and and decide for yourself.

I am Keith's biggest fan! Keith and his family/staff absolutely ROCK!!!! He could expect me every week for my usual(Eats) chicken salad sandwiches and I could never get out of there without spending extra money on my (Treats)... sweet potato bread, sweet potato pie, snackers and now the new snacker cookie!!! No, i don't eat it all at once... I do eat it responsibly:-)..most of the time! Keith really is a sweetheart and great man of God and he really cares about each customer that walks through the door. His passion for his gift of cooking definitely shows through his food. It's all um, um great! Oh and did I say the sweet potato pancakes are AMAZING!!! I now live in another state, when I visit the east coast, a stop at Keith's is always on my agenda! Go to Keith's Treats & Eats!!!!!
