This is a personal favorite. I love this location and the food is great. Every time I go, I get a Little Bacon Cheeseburger and a regular Cajun fry. If you do the same, you will not be mad. The staff are pretty awesome. They are never busy, or should I say never too busy. Let me tell you what I like! I like to get a sloppy looking burger that taste AMAZING!!!

So I am thinking burger for lunch, so of course I think 5 guys. Then I think I should do a review. These guys can throw down a burger. Thier dogs ain't bad neither. The basic burger is 2 patties and a bun, you can also get cheese and bacon for a small price. If 2 patties is too much they have the same options with 1 patty. Go with 2 patty's, be nice to your self. They also have a fairly long list of toppings. Get what you like but use caution; too many toppings just muddle the flavors. But, hey, it is yours, go for it. As I stated earlier the dogs are good as well. They fry them on the grill so they are yummy, and you can pick from the same list of toppings. The fries, plain or cajun, are really good. They give you a lot of fries...No really, a lot. I work with grown men and we share a regular fry. They also have free peanuts for you to munch while waiting on your burger. Iced tea or soda and that wraps up the menu. Get out there and eat.

This place was my first experience with Five Guys seven years ago. I'm still coming back and it's still a good experience.

Best fries around hands down.....burgers could be better, but the fries make up for it. They should add milkshakes or some sort of desert.

I love five guys. It's always a solid burger, never regrettable like McDonald's or burger king. Afterwards you're satisfied instead of your decision of eating here weighing heavy on your conscience. Not that it's healthy, but it's actual beef and it tastes good. This particular one is clean, not the quickest, but it is right across from my work.

Yummy yummy! This place always has fresh hot fries. Get the cajun seasoned ones! So.Good. It takes a little while to get your food but that's okay because they make it to order and you can eat peanuts while waiting. Get extra napkins. You're goinna need it!

Great customer service! Very pleasant staff! I ordered food last night (5/20/15) after receiving very bad customer service right next door and Panda Express and from the time I walked in until the time I left, the staff was very friendly and efficient! The food was fresh, hot, and cooked to perfection.

They aren't necessarily cheap but they are, hands down, the best fast food burgers, hot dogs, and french fries anywhere. Like all Five Guys, this location is clean, organized, and on their game. I can say no more...

This Five Guys has the kindest upbeat workers. My veggie cheese sandwich is ALWAYS great, and the fries are perfect. If in the area, you must stop in. You won't be disappointed :-)

I don't know who these Five Guys are, but they sure are virile and fertile as I see their offspring popping up like weeds in my yard, pimples on a teenager, bread in a toaster...you get the point. This location opened a little more than a year ago and now there's one opening near Arundel Mills and PG Plaza. Heck, Five Guys may soon become synonymous with gentrification. But enough ranting, on to the review! Food - Fresh is much better than frozen and it shows. The meat is brown, rather than that grey-ish stuff found in a McD's burger and it tastes fantastic. The hamburger and cheeseburger are actually doubles, while the little's are singles. That makes me think, maybe we should start doing that for Americans. Instead of saying half of Americans are obese, we could follow the Five Guys' nomenclature system and call "average" Americans Little, and skinny people Morbidly Underweight. But I digress. One of the regulars will likely decrease your life expectancy, and significantly so if you get it like I do: Bacon cheeseburger + everything. And you can probably expect to die before you're eligible for retirement if you get it with a bacon cheese dog and seasoned fries like a buddy of mine does, who also happens to be impossibly cut. Life isn't fair, so you may as well go out grubbing! The fries are more boardwalk fry-ish than Burger King-ish, and they have malt vinegar available. What I love is that they measure out the appropriate amount for whatever size you ordered, then fill this silver tray thing and dump a bunch more in your bag. They are also cooked in cholesterol-free peanut oil, which is good because I didn't see a defibrillator in the restaurant. Yes, the burgers do take a long time. To make you feel better about the wait, which can be as long as 15 minutes, Five Guys decides the best way to appease fat people is to give them more food, and they do so in the form of free peanuts. And judging by the number of elephants...errr, patrons happily masticating away while awaiting their number to be called like some heart attack lottery, appeased they are. Location - This particular location is located along a particularly crappy section of Rte. 1, hence the 4 stars. They have an ATM inside, which is nice since it's cash only. This location is sandwiched between a CVS and a Panda Express so you can get your Lipitor prescription filled while you eat and get your RDA of MSG. Five Guys is slowly impregnating the DC Yelp area with their stores and our arteries with their beef. And that's a good thing.

After two visits, its say to say that this isn't my favorite burger place. I can't place a finger on it, but after each bite, I felt sick - not sick from the food...but sick as in this burger is NOT good and I won't be back. I prefer Fat Burger!!

Five Guys is one of my favorite places to stop for a burger. I think they have one of the best burgers around and I hate saying that about a chain fast food place. They have a simple menu and do everything well. I like the fries and the peanuts to snack on. Definitely a thing to try if you haven't had Five Guys before, but bring your appetite.

I was craving a burger and figured I try Five Guys. The burger was delcious but a little more expensive then I thought it be. The best part of my visit there was the lovely young lady that took care of me. She was super friendly and smiling the entire time. If everyone I encountered in the food and service industry was like her, the world would be a better place.

more like 3.5, but alas..... before the onslaught begins let me just state for the record that i don't dig on red meat, but in continuing the debate over between in and out v. five guys, i took the wife to five guys to get her verdict (as she has had in and out many times in the past). and her verdict was.......... in and out. KEEP YOUR DAMN HANDS IN YOUR POCKETS. she said it was a good burger..... pretty darn good, but not better than in and out. my little one had the big hot dog that they slice down the middle, which momma and child both concurred that the hot dog was good. i had to settle for a tiny, sad excuse of a grilled cheese something or other. if a word comes to mind - sucks would be it, but what can you expect from a burger joint? the fries were good and i tried to stop my wife from ordering 3 (as the orders are jammed in cup, which are then jammed into paper bags, and then have more fries jammed on top) when 2 would have sufficed. why they bother using the cups leaves me nonplussed.... just shove em all in the freaking bag. the fries are just like boardwalk fries and may have you yearning for the beach, but nothing special. there is also a giant box of peanuts that you can help yourself to while you await your number to be called. they are your average plain old peanut. i guess it's there as some kind of tie in to the fact that they use peanut oil on everything........ something that's a little thing of importance to those who are allergic to peanuts/peanut by products. so if you are one of these folks - stay away! if not, come on and get yourself a burger with a big greasy bag of fries.

Quick and good--and I'm a vegetarian---I had a grilled cheese and fries which was really good, and somehow different from other grilled cheese sandwiches. They also have a veggie sandwich. I like that there were options I could eat at a burger place. The fries were also awesome, as were the free unlimited peanuts. The woman at the counter was also quite friendly.
