This is my favorite ice cream place around! Here are a few reasons why: -sinless cake batter ice cream: delicious and without all of the fat and calories. Guilt free icecream=dream come true! And it tastes good. -so many mix ins! I had the "That's How I Roll" last night and I just about died. I substituted the regular cake batter for the sinless, and they mix in yellow cake, cinnamon and pecans. It honestly tasted like a sticky bun. Amazing to say the least. I usually do the sinless cake batter with yellow cake and strawberries or sprinkles, but this will be my new go to for sure! -The staff has always been friendly, if not overly so with the singing and the greetings when you walk in the door. -You can see everything being prepared and they do a great job keeping things looking clean. Downside: -it gets crowded and the line gets crazy on Friday or Saturday nights. It doesn't help that people take forever to make a decision and each dish has to be hand scooped and mixed, which is slightly time consuming. Some of the staff works faster than others. -more expensive than most ice cream, but worth it for my 300 calorie heaven in a cup. -its fairly small and gets cramped in there, so I take mine out to the car or torture myself and wait until I get home to enjoy. Overall: If you've never been, give it a try. There are options for everyone and just when you think you've found your favorite, something new will catch your eye and completely change your mind! By far my favorite place for dessert in Laurel!

I've been to cold stone in other cities and love the ice cream. I went with a friend to this one and have never received such poor service. I was in the line waiting to be served when the African American woman behind the counter kept yelling "Can I help the next party?". It was like I didn't exist and she moved on to the next group behind me. I also asked one of the gentlemen behind the counter about a flavor. He rolled his eyes and said "I don't know". There was no label saying the flavor. I took their attitudes as a sign that they neither wanted or needed my business so I walked out. I will not return to this establishment again.

I love it here! The last time I tasted Cold Stones ice cream was 5 years ago, and I've been missing out. The customer service is on point, even late at night when they are tired. The whole store is very clean too. Although the prices are a bit high, it is welllll worth it. French Vanilla Blonde, I'll be coming back soon. YUMMM. :)

Warm Stone Creamery. No reason why my ice cream should already be dripping when you hand it to me. It's NEVER cold enough. It's been in my home freezer for almost 30 minutes and it still isn't solid enough to eat. They're gonna make me go to Baskin Robbins....smh

Worst Cold Stone I have ever been to! Did not get my order fulfilled due to employees fist fighting and throwing ice cream supplies DURING BUSINESS HOURS! After multiple attempts to contact management of the issue I have yet to receive a reply. This is a job! You don't bring friends to your job and talk to them all day, and get in a fist fight with your coworker while paying customers are there...OR EVER actually. Shame on these employees and their management and ownership.

This cold stone franchise is waaaaaay over price! The like it size is $5.89. Seriously??? That's the LIKE IT size!!! With tax, its $6.42. I was beyond shock. I went to the one in College Park, and you can get that same price for GOTTA HAVE IT size. I've been going there since!

These people that work here are super unprofessional ... This man that works here chews on a spoon as he takes customers orders and then waves and harasses his customers with immaturity. Chicago Bulls shirt on no uniform. Scared of going back not knowing what to expect. If the original owners were here to witness this they would take over. Smh.

I find the crew in this place to be in little on the ghetto side. I feel afraid to ask for extra toppings on my ice cream lol. Please don't hurt me after reading this review.

Bloody Finger and Bloody Slow Service The service, typically much better at this establishment, was at a snails' pace this evening. Seriously I could have gone to the grocery store, bought ice cream, driven home, and scooped it into a bowl and eaten it, in less time than it took me to be served. While watching the paint dry with the 4 customers in front of me... I noticed a worker come from the back clutching his finger as if he were in pain. I watched disgusted as he rinsed his bloody finger off in a sink behind the counter. Shortly thereafter he began serving customers. After previously waiting for an agonizing 15 minutes while the 1st worker asks the front client about the mix in technique he would prefer (very smashed, lightly smashed, sprinkled on top, etc)... The line was finally moving now that the other worked wrapped his bloody finger with tape. I guess asking for a glove is passé? The customer in front of me even gave him advice to stop the flow. Had it been his turn to dish up the cream, when I was the next customer, I would have politely declined. Instead I get the original worker who asks me to repeat my orders 5 times. At least in the end, my order was right and my kid was happy. I do however feel bad for the customer behind me who is probably still waiting now... Positives: Pleasant demeanor, ice cream was delicious, orders were right. Negatives: Risk of communicable disease, missing out on life, blowing a gasket, and losing my business.

I love Cold Stone Creamery! Their ice cream is creamy and delicious but this particular location makes me not want to come back. When I arrived, we were not welcomed, it took the staff over 5 minutes to acknowledge us and even then, they were asking people they already served. They were joking and talking with each other. The person before us had to remind them that he had already ordered and paid but simply waiting for his shake. Which they forgot to make. (And when they actually gave it to him- it was a mess- there was smoothie dripping all over the outside of the cup and no napkin) When I told the girl my order, she had to ask me what was in it and what ice cream. She kept staring at the cheat sheets above the stones but yet- she kept asking whAt ice cream and ingredients. The next order I placed- I asked if I could order a cookie with a signature ice cream instead of the plain ice cream on top. And the girl told me yes. Mind you- the entire time, the girl kept laughing and joking with her coworkers. Again- I had to tell her 4 times what was in the signature ice cream. As she was finishing making the ice cream, the cashier asked if we could pay now in a rude tone. I replied yes, I was trying to but another employee was standing in the way chatting. When she rang up my order- I noticed that it rang up more than I expected. The girl that was still creating the ice cream then said that I ordered 2 signature ice cream "like it" size and also the cookie and ice cream. She she charged me for 3 items. So I was supposed to pay $5 for the cookie alone. At that point, I had to clarify and told her that she did not specify that when I was making the order. So I respectfully declined the $5 cookie. By the end of my trip, my finally conclusions are: - ice cream good (but I could have told her all the wrong things and she wouldn't have known) - young kids shouldn't work alone at a store without a responsible manager - go to cold stone creamery but maybe not necessarily this location unless you have a lot of time and patience.

Love the ice cream! My son had strawberry ice cream with rainbow sprinkles and m&m's. I at first told the girl behind the counter that I just wanted the ice cream and sprinkles and at the last moment my son blurted m&m's too. When I asked her to add them in, she rolled her eyes. No inconvenience to her, the ice scream was still being mixed. I had the cheescake ice cream with strawberries added in. It was delish!!!! Grand total for two small "like it" $11...and some change! I had just bought us lunch before that and it was less than $10. Don't get me wrong, the ice cream was great, service not so much and when my dessert costs more than my lunch, I want to know that I'm getting a good deal all around. Then to top it off, another guy behind the counter SUGGESTED I tip for "outstanding service"...yea, bite me! Would definitely go to another Cold Stone, just not this one!!!!

January 2001 was when I first experienced Cold Stone out in San Diego, California. Being an ice cream lover, I thought it was the greatest thing ever. Choose your ice cream, then they mix-in whatever you choose on a cold stone, and if you tip them, they sing. It was amazing! A few years later, I found out they were opening one near me in the Village at Waugh Chapel and I had to introduce my wife, who was my girlfriend at the time, to it. I exclaimed, "They make the ice cream for you on a cold stone. It's soooo amazing!" When we got there and they made her a "signature creation," it was a major *whomp whomp* moment. Since I said that they make it, she imagined they had some liquid cream and like one of those ice cream makers that use rock salt, they would make the ice cream before your eyes. When we got outside, I asked, "Isn't it amazing?!?!" "Ummmm, not really," she replied, "they don't make it; they just mix it." ^_^ So unless you want a major *whomp whomp* overhyped moment like I did, make sure you understand what goes on at Cold Stone. Now that several years have passed and I've had more signature creations than I care to count--though I could probably attribute one to each stretch mark that I have--I think Cold Stone is a solid destination for ice cream, but it doesn't wow me anymore. Food stuffs - for one, the ice cream is really, really sweet, which was a good thing in my fatter days in college. They have numerous flavors and mix-ins, including Butterfingers, blueberries and brownies. You can either make your own creation or choose a signature. My favorite is the Founder's Favorite: sweet cream ice cream, caramel, fudge, brownies, and pecans (I ask for almonds since I don't like pecans). A signature creation will run you $5-$6 for 3 sizes: Like It, Love It, Gotta Have It, and by it, they mean diabetes. You'll most likely be able to share the Love Diabetes and Gotta Have Diabetes sizes ( yelp.com/biz_photos/Hpj6… ). I won't reveal the nutrition facts b/c ignorance is bliss when you're indulging, but the information is available on the Cold Stone website. Location - in the same shopping center as Chick-Fil-A., Longhorn, Three Brothers, Shane's Ribshack, and Pho Saigon. Since it's pretty cold out, we were the only patrons for most of our visit last night, but in the summertime, this place gets PACKED! So although the employees are pretty friendly about samples and you being indecisive, the people behind you will likely get increasingly indignant as you ask for your 10th sample. Service - they still sing when you tip here but it can be more depressing than an emo song when business is slow. When the line is long, it can move pretty slowly b/c customers tend to be slow in determining what they want. If it's busy, I recommend saving time and money and grabbing an Ice Dream from Chick-Fil-A.
