Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

We finally made it to blaze and it was worth the wait. All of the pizzas are the right size for either a couple, or a big eater (like me). We tried the white top, the meat lovers and a custom pizza. The Good: The service is fast. it is a lot like chipotle; you stand in line and they make what you want right in front of you. The staff has been very nice and accommodating. The crust has just enough snap, the red sauce can be either traditional or spicy, and the white sauce has good flavor. The Bad: Some of the staff seemed a bit confused, but they are all new so we give them a brake. They have a "smore's pie", it is not very tasty. The cookie part does not really taste like graham cracker and there is no caramelized sugar flavor like from a lightly burnt marshmallow. The ugly: Nothing I am looking forward to the next trip.

Great pizza! Best alternative to hand-stretched pizza. Kudos on making the subway model work for actual wood fired pizza. Friendly staff, wifi to top it off. I'm making this a regular stop on the way from Baltimore to dc.
(5)John L.
The pizza was good, but the music was far too loud, and I did not care for the communal tables.
(3)Tonny T.
Everyone who eats here and likes it probably thought of this a la cart style pizza concept at some point in there life. I like pizza and everyone who eats here is most likely a pizza fan. However the pie was simply something I would expect from a frozen isle. It was still good, but not pizza satisfying in my opinion. And it probably had to do with the dough and sauce. On the other hand the dining area was cool and spacious, and staff was nice. If you like a premade dough thin pizza this might be your spot.
(3)Joe J.
If pizza was in P.G. County was a sport, it would be golf. Blaze pizza is Tiger Woods, meaning the only time people should really care about it is at this spot. Moderately priced and customizable pizza for the whole family. I will definitely be coming back.

Hello, I went to the Laurel Blaze! Delicious ! Complete satisfaction! I'll be Back! Townie Diane

They have vegan cheese!! Super excited to see that since I'm well...vegan! Love the pizza here. It is full of flavor. Staff is friendly. Very relaxed feel and a great place to grab a bite to eat with your friends and family! So glad they came to Laurel. We needed a good pizza place.
(5)K L.
One word....Delicious! Staff was super friendly, ingredients are super fresh and service was super fast. All for a little less than $8. I absolutely love it and look forward to my next trip.

Visited Blaze Pizza on a Sunday afternoon around 1:30. To my surprised it wasn't very packed when we got there (it got busy shortly after). There were a few hiccups while placing my order that kinda of stood out. I was there with someone and when we started at the beginning of the line (let me also point out that before I told her my name the first thing she asked me was "is this your first time here?" I told her yes and the ordering begin....) they took my name and put it on both pizzas. While this may seem like something small it can cause a big confusion when going down the "toppings" line because they immediately looked at me for me to tell them what I wanted on both pizzas and this was clearly not the case. For instance, I wanted classic red sauce and he wanted classic spicy red sauce. After she was done putting sauce on mine she immediately starting putting the same sauce on his pizza and by the time he got the words out of his mouth for her to stop she had already started to spread the sauce. Now the right thing to do here would've been to start over (especially if the dough is right beside you and ready to go but I digress) but we decided to keep it moving. Her response wasn't one of "oh oops my bad, let me start over" it was more of a "oh, you didn't want classic? Oh...ok...well". Even though she had asked EVERY SINGLE INDIVIDUAL PERSON before us what they wanted on there pizza it didn't dawn on her to do that for us because MY NAME WAS ON BOTH PIZZAS. Remember what I just said about the importance of that? Well, this is a perfect example. This place reminds me of Chipotle' but for Pizza. You choose if you want white or wheat dough, classic or spicy red sauce or white sauce, and on to the meat and veggie toppings. You can build your own pizza or choose one that they designed. I choose to build my own pizza. White dough, classic red sauce, mozzarella and goat cheese, pepperoni, salami, Italian sausage, roasted garlic, basil, spinach and caramelized onions. All of the crust is the same which is thin. Thin crust isn't my go to crust but I step out of my comfort zone sometime. Glad I did because I enjoyed it! At the end of the "toppings" line there are finishing's like roasted garlic, spinach, etc. For some odd reason when she got to those toppings she stopped working on my pizza and begin working on our 2nd pizza and once done she was getting ready to move it directly to the oven. WHAT?! WAIT?! I had to stop her and say "am I supposed to add these toppings after it comes out of the oven or something? WHY WOULD I HAVE TO ASK THAT?!? SMH! Again, this is my first time here, I'm sure you ALL heard me say that and this is the type of experience you want to give me? SMH Ok...moving on. She told me "No, I thought you were done." As for me; I'm still not sure why she thought that when she was the one that had stopped making my pizza LOL I thought she was just doing both pizzas so that they could go in the oven at the same time. Anyway, I added my last few toppings and off to the oven my pizza goes. The restaurant had a power surge while I was waiting to pay for my pizza Oh AND while my pizza was sitting in the oven. The first thing that came to mind was 1) I'm glad you weren't swiping my card when that power surge happened because that would've possibly been something else I'd be worrying about and 2) Um, is this going to affect how my pizza taste? I'm just saying! LOL After waiting about 10 - 15 min everything was back up and running. Some girl that looked like she came straight from the club to work (I don't think she was officially on duty at that time) LOL Ripped...oh wait no, I mean jeans with holes (honey chile those were NOT rips) had to go behind the counter and start the oven for the Shift Leader because he couldn't figure it out. He had started telling someone to go to the store and by him one of those big lighters so he could light the oven manually. LOL This was an interesting experience to say the least!! LOL Paid for my pizza, took a seat, waited about another 10 min went back up to the counter like ok where is my pizza because I can see that it's ready and just needs to be cut and given to me. He notices me standing there, cuts my pizza and gives it to me. Overall, after the pizza mix ups in the line, power surge, waiting a little longer than expected even after things were up and running, the pizza was just ok to me. Nothing worth me making a special trip to Laurel for. Now if I am in the area and want pizza, I wouldn't mind stopping. One more thing, eat all of your pizza in one setting. My pizza was pretty good when it was hot but once it got cold it started to taste like a store bought pizza out of the microwave. OH and get the Blood Orange Lemonade, it is delicious!!! 2 stars because I feel like they still have some work to do here!

If you like pizza Blaze is a great concept, but if you're passionate about pizza, the way I am, set your expectations low. I'll admit that stopping at Blaze on the heels of a recent &pizza visit probably wasn't a great idea. It's like watching The Godfather part 3 after seeing the first two, disappointing. The smell was great when we walked in and my mouth was instantly ready for pizza. The friendly staff greeted us with a smile and asked if it was our first time. The dough comes out of a mechanical press that looks like it should be making tortillas. The guy making the dough was spraying it down with what seemed to be non - stick spray. It wasn't pleasant looking, as the dough takes on a wet, greasy appearance. Sauces were limited, but toppings were plentiful, although not very creative. I went with all veggies and love that the had banana peppers. Everything gets baked on your pizza, there is no finishing station like at &pizza. The person pulling the pizzas got mine mixed up with someone else's and I had to stop him from putting my veggie pizza onto the paper he had just pulled a meat pizza from. The reaction I got was that these pizza mix ups happen regularly. My pizza tasted okay, but the dough reminded me of cafeteria pizza from my grade school days. The price is on the cheap side, but you kinda get what you pay for. They offer Coke products and a couple lemonade flavors. There is lots of seating and the atmosphere has a Chipotle like vibe. I won't be returning. I'd rather spend a dollar more at &pizza and LOVE my meal, than thinking it's just okay. Best Things: Friendly staff, open seating and afordability. Worst Things: Lack of quality choices and flavor.

My boyfriend and I stopped into Blaze Pizza before seeing a movie. I like the idea of a create your own personal size pizza or pick one of ours for less than $10. You watch them/direct them to build your pizza and it goes in a wood-fire oven for a few minutes. I really liked it, but I'm bias towards thin crust pizza. I wouldn't say this is the best pizza I've ever had, but I'm a fan and I'd be back. The sitting area was pretty regular, a few high-top tables, booths, and regular tables. The available drinks, lemonade, and UNsweetened tea were about average. Overall, if we were back to see a movie and wanted something quick, we'd consider this place again.
(4)R S.
I still love this place . I am watching my diet and thin crust was the best direction for Pizzas. If your looking for a thick deep dish crust then this is not the place for you. Thus happened when I brought my friends over. They'd prefer a neighboring pizza place.

Alright... So, I was very reluctant to go here b/c after you have had &Pizza, you are a skeptic that anything can be as good as that. And the pictures on Yelp didn't really sell me. But it was late at night and our options were limited so I agreed. I soon realized that the pictures didn't do it justice b/c either 1) people DO NOT know how to load up the toppings or 2) the people are just plain Janes that only like cheese and pepperoni. So I'm adding my pictures to show you how it's done. If you see "ovalini mozzarella" and don't know what it is, don't skip it! It's fresh mozzarella and you WANT that on your pizza. I am also a huge fan of stinky cheese so had to add gorgonzola, yum! Oh and the roasted cloves of garlic... pure deliciousness. What else did I add? What else did I NOT add haha. I threw in some (a lot of) bacon, Italian sausage, Kalamata olives, mushrooms, artichoke hearts, pepperoni, red onions, basil, olives and spicy tomato sauce. The pizza is pretty big after it's all done so count on leftovers! The service is here is also great. She really loaded up my pizza and told me when I was making good choices haha. We ate there and one guy even asked us how we were doing. Tried the blood orange lemonade. Meh, it was too sweet for me. Added some water to it like a grandma and thought it was alright. Would love to see a whole wheat pizza dough and possibly more sauce options but hey, this place is pretty good. And the price is right! 8 bucks for a build-your-own pizza? Sold! You can count on seeing me again Blaze Fast-Fire'd Pizza!

I received a message from the business, basically saying they are apologetic and hoped more for my visit. I was told they make their sauces and their meatballs were nitrate free. I want to say I couldn't tell the sauce was made, and I wasn't debating what was in it. I was making a bold flat out statement that it just didn't smell or taste like turkey. Leaving that behind, I received a card for a free pizza. I gave one away for someone else to try and yesterday Sept 17th I ate their. I decided not to make my own and went for their veg out pizza with added tomatoes. In the end I'd give this place an ok. I think knowing what's on a pizza should be the indicator for how long you should leave it in the oven the crust was a good color but due to the veggies and tomatoes it created alot of liquid making it a bit soggy. I was by myself and ate 7 slices. It turned out to be tastey except for having to eat the soggy parts I just quickly chomped on them. I would suggest for pizzas like that a longer time so the crust would hold better. Cuz the last pizza I got the crust was a bit to hard. Overall better than my first experience. Still some of the same problems but, if before I wasn't gona come back for 8months I'd say shorten that. Thank you for the card for a free pizza, it shows my opinion matter and you care about your business. SMILE!

The critics were right. Blaze pizza was amazing!!!!! It's a vegetarian paradise with FRESH vegetables and as many as you want. I had a field day with all the toppings and cheese. My ideal cheat meal. All for $8!! Also while I was there a customer dropped some parmesan cheese and it exploded on the floor and the on staff manager/shift leader was SO nice about it. Props for that too. Especially because the staff are all young people, they are extremely professional. I HAVE to add that this is all based upon your preference. If you are NOT into thin crust pizza you likely won't love it as much as me.
(5)Roberto N.
Yes of course it's the pizza! ....But it's also the cool coffeehouse type environment. ..... but I think the best thing about Blaze Pizza is the staff; the preparers could not be more helpful or friendly or generous. They almost feel like family. Onto the pizza; What is the best thing about this place compared to a large chain? The build your own approach is amazing because you literally can put as much or as little of everything that they have on a pizza and as of July 2015 it was only $7.85! So. What's your Tio Roberto's Near Perfect Blaze recipe? Prepare to drool a little... Regular red sauce Mozzarella Goat cheese Gorgonzola Double pepperoni Double sausage Salami Roasted garlic- but cut it up a little Roasted or sautéed onions Mushrooms Sliced green and it red bell peppers Sliced up little cherry tomatoes- extra Drizzle with Pesto once cooked Cook extra crispy. Well, there ya go. ¡Disfrute!

This was my first time trying Blaze Pizza and I have to say I am very impressed. When I think of flatbread pizza Ledo's is the first thing that comes to my mind. Truthfully This is better than Ledo's Pizza in my opinion. The meat pizza was honestly very good and not overran with grease thanks to the brick oven style cooking. I am glad my barber recommend this place to me I will definitely be coming again. P.S to Blaze management: do not go nationwide with this franchise keep it in the DMV area.
(5)Sharon C.
I love that for one price you can add as much or as little to a pizza as your heart desires. In doing so I went all in and created my own lil masterpiece that I thoroughly enjoyed and had enough left over for dinner. There is an option to order online and pick up but I thought it was cool to see the fresh topping options and see my pie bubbling in the oven as I waited patiently to introduce myself. There were a few employees with locks, added hair/extensions etc that had on the Blaze baseball caps but not hairnets. For peace of mind and enhanced sanitation a hairnet never hurt nobody. I'm happy that the cashier let me know that they do offer military discounts. The wait from start to finish is minimal. Of course you have to have some patience as your pie cooks. On my next visit, I'll have to try the blood orange lemonade. Plenty of parking throughout the area and even if you can't park directly out front, it'll be just a short walk. Weather permitting, there is outdoor seating.
(4)Ella D.
The service was awesome from the pie makers to the lady refilling the lemonade to the guy wiping tables and sweeping floors! The Red Vine pizza is simply to "die for"! It's like having caprese salad on dough...who doesn't LOVE caprese salad? A person with no taste, that's who! Oh and the Blood Orange Lemonade...yup I've never had anything like it and yes I enjoyed it too! As a matter of fact, guess what's for lunch today? A caprese salad on dough AKA Red Vine! As long as Blaze is around, I'll never eat pizza from another...
(5)Jalisa L.
This place is AMAZING! So much better than &pizza in my opinion, and a better price too! Its basically a pizza chipotle. You can add any and everything you want, and its a pretty huge pizza too, I can never finish the whole thing. I didn't really care for the caesar salad, not enough dressing and nothing extravagant but the service and the pizza was great! Will be back.
(5)Ijene L.
This place is dope! The end. I have to go on record as saying I don't even LIKE thin crust pizza and I was pleasantly surprised and satisfied. With the ambience of a livelier Chipotle or an upscale subway, the procedure is similar. You begin at the lil partition, pick a pie or salad and they construct it down the assembly line and toss it in the pizza oven as you wait. Cost pennies. Maybe 8 bucks for all that food. Ten if you get a drink. Delicious. I had the Meat eater. Sausage, pepperoni, plenty of mozzarella on 11" of really tasty chewy yet crispy dough. It literally took about 6 minutes and they were calling me to grab my pizza. Piping hot and just REALLY good. They have the run of the mill fountain drinks, but screw em. Have the blood orange lemonade. It's freaking freedom in a cup. It's so good all the employees appear to have a rotation to drink it on break. :) There are no waiters but ppl still walk around checking on you, offered to refill my drink or grab me napkins, which I thought was really nice and helpful. The place is pretty new which may be why it's so ALL things good. But I sure hope it stays that way. I'll be back. :) 5/5 Noms!
(5)Jennifer S.
Food and service is amazing! They even have gluten free crust! We will be back for sure!!
(5)Lameka A.
We decided to try this pizza joint after we left Regal. Upon walking in, it was decent. I saw a few flies, that turned me off. This is our first time there so we did not know what to expect. I think when you have customers you should always ask them if they have ate at your place of business before, then you will know if you need to explain the process. So, instead of making our own, we decided to go with two of their Signature Pizzas. We got a Meat one and White Top one. They seem to be running behind because there was only one person making the pizzas, then then person who took our order had to help the person making them. Then the lady taking the money came over to help make the pizzas. She did not seem friendly and seemed unhappy to be at work on a holiday. She spoke so low that it was hard for me to hear her asking me if we wanted sea salt or oregano. I did not know what it was for so I just said both. As far as the pizza, it was amazing!!!! I would have given them a five but I am a stickler about customer service.
(4)D W.
I have been here once and I will be going back! We really enjoyed this pizza. First great thing is the price-$7.85...wow and you could honestly share it with someone. I love thin crust so it was perfect for me! Nice crispy edges too! If you don't like that kind of crust then this may not be the place for you. Hubby thought the crust was just so so but he enjoys a thicker crust. It is definitely like a Chipotle for pizza. You can make your pizza as healthy or unhealthy as you like. Several cheeses and sauces are available to choose from...and there are lots of meat and veggie options. Everything looks pretty fresh too. I wanted to try the meatballs but they were frozen so I wasn't sure about that. Again, the price is great! There is plenty of seating available and the place was clean...we will be back!
(5)Kimberly H.
That pizza was great! You can get the toppings that you want. It is very reasonable, even when we got our own pizzas. The staff was great! They were also good with explaining the concept to my hubby and I (newbies).

3.14.2015. Pie Day. Or $3.14 for an unlimited topping, artisan-style thin crust pizza day. I don't live very close but drove about 50 miles round trip for the promotion and, even though the line was almost out the doors at 1 pm, I'd do it again. For the employes who enthusiastically worked nonstop in the assembly line process, you're awesome. Seriously. As for the product? As some have mentioned , the crust doesn't have an authentic slow fermentation flavor and doesn't develop those amazing air pockets in the super hot oven because of the way it's rolled out. So. What. Seriously, it's 7.50 or so for whatever toppings you want on an 11-inch pizza, and the quality and freshness of the ingredients are beyond anything you could ever get this side of a sit-down restaurant. The cheese selection is great. Fresh mozzarella and fresh ricotta are rich and sumptuous and take on an amazing texture in oven, while also having goat cheese is a huge plus. The sauteed onions and zucchini will make your kids love vegetables, and they'll put as much meat on your pie as you want, including turkey meatballs. LOVE the signature sauce. My only advice is to not go as crazy as I did and overload your pie, and ask them to go easy on the roasted garlic. The cloves are huge and intensely sweet and flavorful after roasting, but if you're pie guy is in a rush he might not realize just how much he's putting on. Seriously. Best fast casual pizza I've ever had, and rivals sit down Italian restaurants which charge twice the price.
(5)Jackie A.
I just wanna let you all know, that my original review was when Blaze had just opened and service was still being learned. Now, there's a flow and the wait, well.. there is none, even on a busy day; it goes by fast. I love the fact that you can pick out what goes on your pizza and watch the entire process. If it doesn't taste good, then it's our fault, not theirs! So, pick something yummy to go on your pizza. I usually have a combo of sauces: the spicy & mild, plus goat & mozzarella cheeses, then a lil bit of this and that - hey, can't give it all away. And do try a drizzle of their pesto. Just wanted to give y'all an update.
(4)A M.
Second review, late posting it. I frequented Blaze again and I must say the level and quality of service improved. My husband and children even noticed the difference. The staff was attentive checking on us after we sat down to eat and wishing us well out the door.
(4)De'Leisa N.
I am so surprised on the high reviews of this place. Now, my boyfriend described it as a hyped up Celeste pizza (you know those $1.25 frozen pizzas) and I rolled my eyes because that was a dramatic description but he's self proclaimed pizza snob. In my opinion, the sauce could be a little more seasoned. The pepperoni tasted a little fake to me - not the spice flavor I expect from a good pepperoni. Thin crust that wasn't super crispy. Fresh toppings. Customer service is good. I gave it a 2 because I have had way better fast cooked pizzas.
(2)Nancy S.
This is some of the best pizza I have ever eaten. If you love a thin, crispy pizza, this is the place for you! The staff is very friendly and helpful.
(5)Cheraia H.
If Chipotle and your local pizzeria had an illegitimate baby and then someone put that baby in your mouth, this would be it. The way it works is pretty simple.... you choose what kind of sauce and toppings you want from a "Chipotle-style" assembly line..... once you get to the end the ovenmaster takes your raw pizza and fire-cooks it in a pretty sweet-looking oven. It may be kind of confusing to some on their first visit, but the employees that are in the assembly line will ask you if it's your first time, and they seem pretty happy to help any newcomers through the process. I'm not a fan of kitschy gimmicks OR thinner-crust pizzas so I was mad skeptical at first, but once it came hot and fresh to the table I felt like I went to church and became a believer and Blaze pizza was the pastor. In my experience, the pizza went from raw to fully-cooked and at the table in less than 5 minutes.... and the artisan-like quality and taste of the pizza was actually surprisingly amazing. Pretty good for a new little spot. The atmosphere was warmly lit and very relaxing, versatile enough that you could go alone, bring a friend, or even bring your kids. I went on a Sunday with little to no time waiting in line.... so I will definitely be coming back to see what the food and customer service is like on a busier day. If the quality remains consistent.... then this place would definitely go up from four to 5 stars at that point from me.
(4)Hafsah U.
Like the pizza. It's solid and there are tons of options. Love the staff. I stopped by earlier tonight right as they were closing and they still went above and beyond for me. They patiently answered my questions and the pizza was delish.
(5)Worthy T.
Went when they first opened and did the free pizza day. I was glad to know that because if I were to try this place for the first time I wouldn't feel guilty of wasting a pretty penny. I was able to go with my sister and other friends. It had exceeded my expectations!!! I am normally the plain Jane simple pie girl but that night I decided to try the green stripe pizza. My sister had the BBQ chicken, and my other friend had the red vine pizza. I love brick oven pizzas and I love to get good quality pizza. Great pizza for a great price!!!
(5)D. K. G.
First time visit was Good;.would return the next time I'm in that area or try another location. The topping choices are sort of limited or just different than what im used to at the & Pizza chain, but not a let down. The 11 inch round crust pizza was tasty in its own special way. The six slices were definitely filling, so get it to go, but sit there and eat what you can while its hot. Reheating or eating it cold doesn't do it justice! They only offer one dessert; a Cookie S'more, which comes served room temperture or oven toasted! :-) The line gets long from time to time, but moves fast thanks to the 180 seconds (3 minutes) cook time. Seating can be tricky for parties over 4 in this somewhat small location (large compared to & Pizza's H Street location) across from a movie theater! The service is friendly and quick. The only downfall I notice, besides the topping choices was the fact I couldn't get a credit card receipt for an order under $25, when a pizza only cost approx. $7.95!!!
(4)Robert R.
Compare to the Blaze in College Park this place is at the other end of the spectrum. Undermanned staff, poor customer skills, extremely poor customer service! If it was in my power I would ask this place be closed down. Why you may ask? I can deal with the poor customer service but I can't deal when you go in the only restroom and there is absolutely no water for employees to wash their hands after they've use the facilities. They just put a sign up sink is broken.
(1)Lauren M.
Speedy pizza that is gluten allergy friendly! The green stripe pizza was loaded with perfectly melted mozzarella and gorgonzola cheeses topped with chicken, roasted red peppers, arugulla, and pesto. The gluten free crust had a good flavor, but it was a little soggy compared to some places. With the special request, the pizza is about $11 for a personal size pizza. No alcohol at this location unfortunately.
(4)Karen B.
We go here pretty regularly when we go to the movies (it's right next to the Regal Laurel Cinema). They are pretty disorganized on the front end, but if you can actually get your order the pizza is good. I kinda like Pie Five better (they have those little salads in the pizza crust bowl), but everyone else I know prefers Blaze. They are very good for a pre-movie bite to eat, just keep in mind that they get backed up - once they took so long getting us our food I had to get mine to go and eat my pizza in the movie theater (that was actually pretty awesome, though).
(4)Danielle W.
I'm a regular to this location and the customer service is never consistent (sometimes good, sometimes not so good). I do wish they'd cook the pizza just a little bit longer. I've gone home to slightly doughy crust in a rush, only to reheat again at home.
(4)Andrew R.
Chipotle concept for pizza. Average personal size pizza that take about 5 to 10 minutes. Understand...I'm from new york, lived in philly suburbs most of my life, I'm Italian, and ninja turtles were my heroes when I was 6. I know great pizza and this is average at best. It's a chain pizza restaurant so I guess what can you really expect. I'm a mom and pop type of guy who doesn't really ever eat at commercialized restaurants. Don't have high expectations.
(2)Chris T.
I was very pleased with Blaze and will return often. Consider it to be Subway but for pizza with better ingredients. I liked being able to fully customize my pizza with all kinds of cool things like bacon, artichokes, feta and even had a choice of sauce types. I went with spicy and while it was delicious, I think it might have been a little spicy for me. I'm looking forward to going back soon and trying another pizza concoction.
(5)Crystal A.
All I can say is this will be my new pizza spot!! Great location, great food and awesome customer service!!!! Met an employee named Kanobie who suggested I come in and try them out and I'm so glad I did! Actually bumped into him in the restaurant and he remembered who I was! Everyone greeted me at the door and were so inviting. The pizza was fresh and soooo GUUUD. Glad I came and will definitely be coming back and telling others about it!!!!

Straight up pizza and its soooooooo good!! The restaurant is family friendly, which is a plus for me. All their pizzas come in one size and you can choose from a signature creature or create your own. The pizzas are cooked in a brick oven and come out piping hot. The flavor was so delicious, thats all my family and I seemed to be talking about lol. The dough was fairly thin, crispy and had that wonderful char on the bottom. I ordered the BBQ Chicken pizza and a Blood Orange Lemonade - look, go check this place out. Im telling you, you wont be disappointed.
(5)Danielle B.
Fast moving line. The unique aspect about this pizza, is that the crust is thin so you get way more of the flavor from the toppings, than the bread underneath. Its not nearly as heavy as traditional delivery pizza. The service is also very pleasant.
(5)Bryan W.
First time here and all I can say is wow. It was a great place and the pizza was outstanding. It's like chipotle/subway for pizza! You choose exactly what you want on your pizza and then watch It go into the oven and out to you within 3 minutes. Outstanding. If you like thin crust pizza then you will LOVE this crust. They also have gluten free crusts available. The toppings were fresh and there was NO LIMIT on the toppings. The best part is it the prices are very reasonable. We will definantly be coming back. Please keep up the good work!!
(5)Janet D.
Yes, the pizza is cooked in a few minutes but waiting in line to have the pizza made in front of you is what takes time. They have a great pesto sauce and lots of options like goat cheese, artichoke hearts and fresh veggies. Lot's of options to build your own but I went with the green stripe, a chicken pesto with arugla. Should have asked for a little more pesto but all in all it was delish and I will be back. Skip the dessert option of the 'smore cookie - not worth it.

Hands down one of the BEST Pizzaz I have ever tried in my life. I ordered the BBQ chicken pizza.
(5)Ben C.
Though the streamlined process is innovative for blaze--and for pizza places in general--the team during my visit lacked the ability to implement the model efficiently. My family and I stopped by around 930pm on a Saturday night. As expected, the lines were wrapped around the restaurant. Their streamlined pizza building process is supposed to be efficient by being able to accommodate large amounts of orders. However, it looked like when they encountered a large line out the door--they buckled up. It appeared as though each staff person was unclear on their respective role--hectic and flustered. As a result the customer service I experienced suffered, and presentation was bit messy.
(3)Rodney F.
The atmosphere is very young and fast paced.. The seating arrangements aren't the greatest, but there are plenty of seats to choose from. As far as the food, there are tons of choices to choose from. Banana peppers, oregano, spicy tomato sauce, if it goes on a pizza they have it. The only thing stopping me from giving this place 5 stars is the size of the pizza. If you're eating here alone or with a friend, it's enough.. But for big groups or families, you'd have to order multiple pizzas. $6.25 for a 1 topping pizza is enough to bring me back through the door again.
(4)Catherine R.
I have been going to this place since they opened. Everytime I walk in I'm greeted with friendly staff and almost always they remember my name. I have never once had a bad experience here! The food is great and I'm always blown away by how friendly and caring the staff is. The two that stand out in my mind are both Diamond and Javon. Since my first visit they blew me away and they both keep me coming back. They know me by name and my order and always inquire about how I'm doing. I work in the service industry myself and I'm beyond impressed with them. They move the line along quickly, if there ever is a even the slightest wait for food. It's quick, custom, delicious, and served with a smile and great conversation. I love blaze pizza and will continue to come by as long as my favorite people are there! They make this store what it is!
(5)Top B.
Grew up on thin pizza so I was so happy when I went to Blaze and once again, thin pizza. Great toppings in a fun atmosphere. Love the choice of toppings and have back many times since it opened. Will definitely return as often as I can. Nice kids working there too.
(4)Maya F.
This place is so good! I went there this past weekend and had the build your own and I fell in love! I will be back soon.
(5)Mark R.
I can definitely see what my friends in College Park were talking about. Absolutely delicious!
(5)K T.
Unique concept. Delicious food. I try something a little different every time and it is always good. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean environment.

I had really high hopes for this place. Sad to say they disappointed. It started with them welcoming each person that came in by yelling welcome to Blaze. The other dissipate met was that the dough was shaped by a machine that just flattened the dough. This caused the dough to be flaky with no air bubbles of any kind. The sauce was too overpowering. After you order you have to wait for the pizza to come out of the oven. This was problematic as the pies ordered at the same time would come out at different times from the oven. Also there was a huge line off people waiting for their pizza. I would say skip it.
(2)George B.
I have to agree with everybody who compared Blaze to a Chipotle style pizzeria. The pizza was really good and had a plethora of toppings, cant complain. Would eat here again in a heartbeat. Location was very clean and service was speedy, I have no complaints.
(4)Ashley M.
Very good for fast food pizza. The place has a Chipotle feel and although they are new and still transitioning service was good. Lots of toppings so you can get creative with your pizza. If I am in the mood for pizza and do not feel like waiting this will be my go to spot.
(4)Bill B.
Cool place and fast. Would have been 5 stars but crust too thin. Staff is friendly. Cafeteria atmosphere. Perfect for lunch.
(4)Jewels M.
Great first experience. My pizza crust was kinda burnt but other then that it was great
(4)Tiffany C.
This place is amazing! The variety of ingredients is awesome. Fast and nicely priced.
(5)Yale M.
The simple pie and the blood orange is off the chain! The staff is very friendly every time we stop in for some fresh pizza.
(5)Dana J.
First time here and I really liked it. The thinnest crust pizza I've ever had and I love it!! The pizza came out extremely fast. It tasted fresh and delicious. I had the barbecue chicken pizza, my daughter had the simple pie - both of us were pleased. I will definitely be back!
(5)Alexandra P.
Just what the doctor ordered! Fresh ingredients, thin crispy pizza, with a great price tag! Ordering process was seamless, was in and out within 15 minutes. Great addition to the area, now I have a go to pizza place!
(4)Sarah G.
This place is amazingly addicting and friendly! Much like a Chipole atmosphere! I always make my own and have been here a dozen times, their friendliness is always awesome! Will definitely be back
(5)Leslie C.
Horrible service definitely not living up to Bethesda not college park! The place just opened and it looks like it's been open for years! It's dirty things are already broken and forget about getting your done fast we waited 5 minutes just have the sauce put on the dough then was left standing there because they had ran out of numbers for the next person waited another 3-5min when checking out I was once again left standing there because the person on the register had to get something from the back at that point someone else stepped in. Needless to say I will not be coming back to this horrible place!!! I recommend driving to college park for faster , cleaner better service!

This was my my first visit so I may have to update this review at a later date. But my create your own pizza was excellent. It was my own vegetarian pizza. I put the shredded and cubed mozzarella, jalepenos, pineapple , Roma tomatos, sprinkle of oregono, half spicy& regular red sauce, dash of sea salt, and after the pizza was done a drizzle of basil pesto.
(5)Oscar M.
Friendly service, fast and reasonable pricing. It's a great pizza place. What is not to like!
(5)Reed D.
Where else you can get a great 11 inch pizza in about 5 minutes with unlimited toppings for $7.65? My pizza had chicken and about 20 veggie toppings. I love this place.
(5)Dawn P.
Food is excellent, but need to be faster on the line. It is hard to be back on time when the line goes so slow. This will discourage me from coming back.
(3)Tom G.
Only one visit, and a brand new restaurant, but I am very impressed! A thin crusted pizza with great flavor made quickly. Any toppings you choose for $7.65! The only thing I would change is the noise/music level. I will be back with friends!
(5)Lily S.
Went on Thursday to finally try the build your own pizza. I loved that you could pick your toppings and it didn't matter how many you wanted. It was great! Thin crust pizza is my favorite, so having it come out fast and crispy was amazing. I will definitely be back, it was also great customer service.
(5)Kyra M.
I value quality at an affordable price and this place is both. Pizza anyway you want it for $7.65 doesn't matter the toppings. They have too many youngins in the back playing around but I can live with that. My boyfriend still prefers &pizza but the location being in MD and the price I will surely be back.
(5)Patrick G.
This is Chipotle/Subway style food preparation applied to pizza. The staff was friendly, food was priced well, pizza was good, and my made to order pizza was cooked and delivered fast.
(4)Dominique D.
Blaze is pretty good as long as you aren't comparing it to &pizza which is what I initially did. It's fast, the pizza fills you up and the price is good.
(4)Eve H.
Oh my!!!!! Y'all have to try this. It reminds me of the &pizza's in DC, but the laurel edition. It is sooooo good. The staff was nice, the pizza is good. Catch a movie and check this place out.
(5)A G.
A simply ADORE this pizza. However, that being said, ordering on line is utterly pointless. I placed my online order at 10:57 for a 12 noon pick up. I arrived at 11:57, went to the cashier and told her I was there for pick up. I told her it was a peperoni and she walked away. I assumed to make my pizza. 20 minutes later I still don't have my pizza. When I asked the lady she said that "now we have 12 orders ahead of you so you'll have to wait." Uh, if I hadn't already paid for it on line I would have walked out. I finally got my pizza at 12:24. And my lunch hour ends at 12:30. Thanks. And FYI - this is NOT good cold!
(3)Jess F.
The smores cookie is amaaaaaaaaaaaaaazing! Pizza was good, husband tried the gluten free pie, it was so-so. I will just go back for that cookie.
(4)Jaron R.
Very nice atmosphere, inexpensive, great food but wish they had more sizes of pizzas.

(4)Jimmy R.
(4)Diane K.
Hello, I went to the Laurel Blaze! Delicious ! Complete satisfaction! I'll be Back! Townie Diane
(5)Joelyne K.

(5)Lauren M.

(5)Robert R.

(2)Cristine C.
(5)Hafsah U.
Like the pizza. It's solid and there are tons of options. Love the staff. I stopped by earlier tonight right as they were closing and they still went above and beyond for me. They patiently answered my questions and the pizza was delish.

(2)Kimberly H.
That pizza was great! You can get the toppings that you want. It is very reasonable, even when we got our own pizzas. The staff was great! They were also good with explaining the concept to my hubby and I (newbies).

(2)A M.
Second review, late posting it. I frequented Blaze again and I must say the level and quality of service improved. My husband and children even noticed the difference. The staff was attentive checking on us after we sat down to eat and wishing us well out the door.
(4)Nancy S.
This is some of the best pizza I have ever eaten. If you love a thin, crispy pizza, this is the place for you! The staff is very friendly and helpful.

I still love this place . I am watching my diet and thin crust was the best direction for Pizzas. If your looking for a thick deep dish crust then this is not the place for you. Thus happened when I brought my friends over. They'd prefer a neighboring pizza place.

(4)Jimmy R.
Great pizza! Best alternative to hand-stretched pizza. Kudos on making the subway model work for actual wood fired pizza. Friendly staff, wifi to top it off. I'm making this a regular stop on the way from Baltimore to dc.
(5)Tonny T.
(3)John L.
The pizza was good, but the music was far too loud, and I did not care for the communal tables.
(3)Joe J.
If pizza was in P.G. County was a sport, it would be golf. Blaze pizza is Tiger Woods, meaning the only time people should really care about it is at this spot. Moderately priced and customizable pizza for the whole family. I will definitely be coming back.
(4)Diane K.
Hello, I went to the Laurel Blaze! Delicious ! Complete satisfaction! I'll be Back! Townie Diane
(5)Joelyne K.
(5)Robert R.
(1)K L.
One word....Delicious! Staff was super friendly, ingredients are super fresh and service was super fast. All for a little less than $8. I absolutely love it and look forward to my next trip.
(5)Lauren M.
(2)Crystal A.
(5)Chris T.
(5)Regina P.
(5)Danielle B.
Fast moving line. The unique aspect about this pizza, is that the crust is thin so you get way more of the flavor from the toppings, than the bread underneath. Its not nearly as heavy as traditional delivery pizza. The service is also very pleasant.
(4)Steve E.
(4)George B.
I have to agree with everybody who compared Blaze to a Chipotle style pizzeria. The pizza was really good and had a plethora of toppings, cant complain. Would eat here again in a heartbeat. Location was very clean and service was speedy, I have no complaints.
(4)XI X.
(2)Ashley M.
(4)Leslie C.
(1)Sarah G.
This place is amazingly addicting and friendly! Much like a Chipole atmosphere! I always make my own and have been here a dozen times, their friendliness is always awesome! Will definitely be back
(5)Oscar M.
Friendly service, fast and reasonable pricing. It's a great pizza place. What is not to like!
(5)Desiree r.
(5)Joe M.
