This is indeed - "The Ultimate Ice Cream Experience " My favorite creation is the Turtle Temptation (not on the official menu anymore). Whoa! This is the bomb. I substitute the sweet cream ice cream with banana ice cream so that I can have that banana split taste without having chunks of cold bananas. The young ladies at the counter were EXCELLENT and very attentive (unlike the workeres at the Cold Stone near Eisenhower Ave (VA)). Add money to the tip jar and they will sing a little diddy. LOL Ask for Turtle Temptation: Sweet Cream (sub. w/Banana Ice Cream) Chocolate Caramel Pecans

This Cold Stone gets the customer service of the year award from me! We left a movie by the AMC around 9:30PM on a Sunday and wanted some ice cream. We walked slowly to the Cold Stone, to find that had been closed since 9PM. As we began to walk away defeated, one of the employees saw us, and told us to come on in! Even though they had been closed for over FORTY MINUTES, they served us! This is just fantastic customer service. I'm going to make it point to frequent this place, send others their way, and maybe even buy one of their cakes for someone's birthday. I am still in disbelief they served us. Great business model.

If this is the location that has the mobile here goes my review. I purchased a living social to have the cold stone mobile come out to my daughters birthday party. First of all the owner was very nice; but I thought that I was going to see a ice-cream mobile truck. Instead they came in with coolers with the ice-cream in it. I paid for three to for favors and the kids were only able to get one scoop of ice-cream, and extra scoop of ice-cream was $5 and then the waffle bowls were soft/ staled. I think if this company I going to have a mobile business they need to invest a little bit more money.

The kids working here need training in customer service. Even when its not busy they act like they have an attitude when they wait on you. Excuse me, did you forget that without business, you dont get a paycheck. Where's the manager? I'm sorry, clearly if they were trained to give exceptional customer service they would not act like that. This is the worst location I've been too. Im not that hard to please. I am closer to this location than Waldorf or Bowie, but I'd rather drive the extra miles to get better service. I do have one good thing to say about this place, the shop is nice.

"Er.. Great Place to Spend Quality Time?" The ice cream at this place is always great. I love the signature combinations. I've gotten the Founder's Favorite, Chocolate Devotion, Peanut Butter Cup Perfection, and most recently Mud Pie Mojo. I'd like to try them all, but obvioulsy I can't do that unless I'm taking up a career in sumo wrestling. Needless, to say, this is very tasty ice cream. The drawback is the lack of efficiency. Maybe I come at peak hours, or maybe the workers are just slow. I came here on Memorial Day at about 6:35pm. The line was literally coiling around like a roller coaster line. like... the back of the line literally started at the register where the people were ordering. I got there at 6:35 and did not walk out with ice cream until 7:08. So it took 33 minutes for me to get ice cream. This is not the first time the line has been long, but I'll gladly wait. The teenagers working can probably get a little overwhelmed, so I won't pick on them, but maybe Cold Stone should look into two registers or work stations or something to make the process quicker. So, obviously I'm being a little facetious when I say it's a great place to spend quality time, but...it kind of is (lol). You can get to know to each other and people watch all sorts of characters, all before u even get the ice cream. A real time saver if you ask me. Tip: I never come here without a coupon or a groupon. It's a good method to make sure you don't consume too much. Cold Stone used to have Groupons/Living Socials for this location, but I haven't seen any for this location in some time. I can only imagine why. I do like the place and it's one of the few surviving business at the Boulevard. I hope it stays there.

My family loves Cold Stone, but this location was not a family friendly environment. We walked in and wasn't greeted at all, probably due to the loud conversation that was going on between the teens behind the counter, but that was no big deal. Ignoring the loud chatter and trying to figure out what my kids wanted when I realized the music that they were playing. Not only was the lyrics inappropriate but it also played profanity so I'm guessing someone had their phone plug into the speaker. My husband and I just kept the kids, 3 and 5, talking so they wouldn't hear the profanity. The kid who took our order must've been new because he kept reading the ingredients for each and he put the wrong ingredients in two of the three cups. We just paid and left. We will not visit Shoppers Way Cold Stone again. On the up, the ice cream was good, wrong ingredients and all.

The line was long today & they didn't have any of their warm selections available which sucked. One guy with dreads didn't have them tied back...ewwww. The girl that served me was complaining & was borderline rude/ghetto with him when he asked about a cookie.

Small location at the Boulevard at the Capitol Center in Largo, MD. Next door to Stonefish Grill. The workers are a bit impersonal but efficient when it comes to completing orders. I ordered the "Cake 'n Shake, which features cake batter ice cream, milk and yellow cake pieces. SO AWESOME! It really does taste just like you'd imagine cake would in milkshake form. For those who don't have teeth or had their jaw wired shut after getting it broken in a bar brawl, you too can now celebrate birthdays or other special occasions in proper fashion!! Cake 'n Shake is definitely an appropriate name because it definitely gets you in the mood to shake what your momma gave you! I almost busted a few moves but then I remembered this is a kid friendly establishment. The senior center is probably a more appropriate venue for that type of entertainment. Hopefully the folks there will have their pacemakers charged up this time. Last time we almost lost Gertrude.......

I used a groupon coupon. Spend $10 for $5 (half off). We ordered the strawberry cheesecake ice cream and a cake batter milkshake. You can't go wrong with a good dessert for a low price.

They so would've received 5 stars from me if when I tipped they would've sang. Other than that I had an enjoyable experience. The establishment was clean. The clerks were friendly. They also had a sale going on, but I did not need an ice cream cake all for myself :)

3 stars for the location/service 4 stars for the ice cream cake Total = 3.5 The only reason I even took the drive from Lanham and bypassed the much closer Cold Stone Creamery in College Park was because I purchased a $10 for $20 Living Social deal that took me to the Largo location. I am not a fan of the Boulevard at the Capitol Center. Not at all. The parking is atrocious. But we're not here for that. I walked inside the Cold Stone to see that it was very, very busy. And unorganized. Since I was there for an ice cream cake, I just walked to the freezer, picked up the Cookie Dough Delirium and turned to the cash register. The two young boys behind the counter looked uninterested and straight up like they did not want to be behind the counter on a Sunday afternoon. Totally understandable but then again, chalk that shit up and smile. It was finally my turn and I told dude that I had a Living Social deal. He took it like he knew about the deal and he's done this as many times as before and said, 'Cool'. Yeah. It took close to 10mins to ring me up and get me outta there. A lot of wrong codes and wrong buttons being pushed and him asking his co-worker for help even though the co-worker had to deal with a long ass line and him asking the manager behind the door for help and the manager refusing to come out to help even though there was also a long line forming at the register. Chaos. 10mins of chaos. *shudders* The Cookie Dough Delirium was really good. I'm a sucker for vanilla and cookie dough so I was in heaven. I will check out other flavors next time...but definitely NOT at this location. Nope.
