Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

I have been to this location several times. The major problem for me is they usually run out of something and I have to wait. I never noticed bad attitudes, even when I ask for a little extra of something. The small dollop of guacamole they give is ridiculous, especially when I have to pay extra for it! I used to go to the one at Bowie Town Center, but am trying to patronize establishments in my neighborhood. I will go back again.

This Chipotle is horrible. It's unfortunate that it's one of the only places located near my office, so we do group orders here all the time and they always, unfailingly, mess up our order somehow. One time they completely forgot to include one person's order. Most of the time, they don't put in the right ingredients so you get the wrong salsa, or don't get the guac that you asked for (and paid for). If you do a pickup up, make sure you double check everything before you leave. I assume it's better when you actually dine in at the location, but I've only been once and it was very crowded and noisy during lunchtime.

Nope. This Chipotle is the worst. I have been here about 5 times, because it is the closest one to my home. Everytime I go, there is an issue. It used to be that you would show up and they would have a tacky sign on the door saying "TODAY WE ARE OUT OF.." and it would be major things like Chicken, Steak, Cheese, Beans. This happened 4 times! Crazy. Now the food is poorly cooked. I went yesterday for a bowl. The rice was crunchy (undercooked) and the beans were hard (undercooked). Then the employees don't seem to understand you and makes for a difficult interaction. I am a lover of all things Chipotle, but I will never go back to this location. Especially since the prices have gone up. If I'm going to pay $10 for a burrito, it better be delicious!

The food is excellent! I've never had a bad bowl from this Chipotle. This is an excellent location. Overall, the management is working to improve (I hear them motivating émigrés to get the line down, working to please customer, etc.). Today I added two sides of steak to my order and while I was waiting the manager was very attentive he never forgot me and he even told me the name of the gentleman who would be preparing the meat for me. This area is tough in terms of customer service but this Chipotle is striving for more. Of course, there are a couple of attitude abundant employees but they perform their jobs well. We're not here to be friends I guess :) ETA: I had to remove a star...there are new staff here and the morale has gotten worse. It's almost non existent. Beware the cashier with purple lipstick. Twice now she's rolled her eyes and snapped at me for no reason, just for me asking for something simple. They never seem to have kids chips or juice ready and the attitude of the staff is going way down hill. I miss the manager with the locs, sans labor laws I wish he could be there 24/7.

This new Chipotle location seems to be a little smaller than the other locations but it may be the furniture placement. They are located between the Petsmart and Best Buy. The music was pretty loud so you had to almost shout out what ingredients you wanted to the people that were making your food. Otherwise, everyone was friendly and you can tell they were learning.

Grabbed dinner there last night to support a fundraiser in partnership with Chipotle and Pee Wee Piano camp and school. I have passed this location more times than I can count but never stopped there since I'm accustomed to visiting the one around the corner from my home a few miles away. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised and grateful at the service that they gave. The staff were attentive, had great communication skills, problem- solved well, and the cashier was A JOY (what a great attitude and energy he brought!). Why problem- solving? Well- a lady in front of me asked the young lady behind the counter to change her glove before adding additional items to her second order. I'm assuming that she or another person that she was ordering for has food allergies and is allergic to cheese. I immediately looked at the staff member's face thinking... she is about to give her major attitude but no! She may have looked like she was slightly annoyed or mostly caught off guard, but she quietly and politely complied. I wanted to give her a high-five for that one, because most of the times you hear sulking, sucking of the teeth, or catch a rolling eye or two. I was so impressed by the way that she handled the customer. The facility was clean even though the line got pretty long a few times. This location is smaller than others that I usually visit but it is pleasing to the eye with the decorations, stools, and lighting. The restroom was clean which says a lot for how busy that location gets. Most of all though, they won me over with their service! Good job folks!

Despite what others have stated on this page regarding this particular Chipotle, my experience was excellent. We placed a catering order the prior evening and they pulled it off w/o any unexpected glitches, ie. dealing with the lunch rush, mixups in communication.etc. We ordered the Two Meat Spread and it was perfect for our event. The young lady who prepared our order was very helpful, courteous and communicated very well when I voiced any concerns. Kudos to Giovanna, ( I hope I got her name correct) was on the ball. The food was great and the setup instructions were self - explanatory to the point that a novice like myself was able to successfully setup a nice banquet spread. Thanks! I'll be back!!!!

One of the newest locations, one of the worst in service. I've come here 3 times & all three times I've been disappointed. They do not try to keep the order line clean so it looks messy & unappetizing. Example: If you only want sour cream, prepare to have some hot salsa, corn & a piece of chicken in your steak burrito. Seems like EVERYONE is always in a bad mood; slamming things, being nonchalant & upset when you ask for something. They don't seem to care at all how they put your food together. So prepare for messy food. Not to mention even if the line is short you will still be waiting at least 20 min. It's almost as if everyone working there is a new employee to Chipotle. Although its close, I'll go to a further away Chipotle for better service.

Each time I go to this location, the food is very good but the service is slower and less friendly than other locations

Absolutely horrible! Waited in line for 10 minutes and the line hardly moved! It's not even peak dinner time (9:30pm) or a weekend and the servers couldn't clear the line. Left without ordering.

It is really unfortunate for me to write this not so positive review. I wanted this Chipotle to be great. I really did. So I've been sticking with them since they first opened and watching the progression. Initially, I saw the vast potential. The young employees were very friendly and oriented toward customer service. However, it wasn't uncommon that they would run out of chicken or steak and hold up the line for a while waiting for someone to finish cooking it. This was obnoxious in terms of speed--especially if you're used to the efficiency of the Chipotle assembly line. But they were a new establishment and it was surprisingly pleasant to spend your time waiting in line talking to their super friendly staff--so I kept coming back. I had Faith that if they paired their positive attitudes with an increased quality of service, this would be my favorite Chipotle yet! I even noticed that they brought in the experienced manager from the Clinton location. Things were looking up for Woodmore. No, not so. In a sudden change of events, all the employees I had Faith in seemed to have either been fired or quit. There are very few recognizable faces here anymore as the turnaround has certainly increased. I hardly see any managerial staff anymore either. And the positive attitudes have just turned into attitudes. Especially from the one recognizable face, Ms. Purple Lipstick. It doesn't matter if she's at the tortillas or the register she has a real problem with coming to work and wants you to know it. It's now a good day at this Chipotle when you don't feel her wrath. Oddly enough, the food quality issues and service time issues have improved. It seems Chipotle chose to focus on improving their speed over their customer service. That isn't a decision I can support in good faith. I'm sure the only reason they still get business is because people Love the food of this franchise and would rather catch Ebola than go to the Capitol Heights location--which has poor service AND poor food (I didn't even know poor Chipotle food was possible until I went there). But I digress. My advice Chipotle (because I'm sure you wanted it lol)? Take a page out of the Chick-fil-a handbook and seek to provide both friendly customer service and quick food. You know as an establishment you're always going to have loyal customers. So take the time to show your appreciation to them with service oriented people behind your counters!
