Great atmosphere. Wine on tap that is decent. Food is just so so. Would recommend for drinks and light meal or appetizers. Not a place for meat and potatoes guys. Three little dips was excellent. Shrimp salad not great. Lobster tacos were good but small and expensive. Pizza was okay. Staff and service has always been great.

Very very very good. Great beer/wine selection. Cubana sandwich is excellent, love the house made pickles. Atmosphere is awesome, nice music. Friendly wait staff. Hope it stays a " local " joint. Not the best place for younger children.

First visit was inconclusive. Bistro atmosphere was inviting and a welcome addition to town. Staff was friendly and attentive. Good spirits, wine, beer lists, and all were tempting. We were excited to be here. Wife ordered shrimp salad pita sandwich. I had the Mediterranean. Frankly, I recommend panara bread instead. Ingredients were fresh, but nothing Mediterranean about my meal. Wife's Sammy was as equally as boring. We both just lost interest in our food. We will return. Maybe the rest of the menu is worthy, and I believe in second chances. I'd like to give their pizza a go.

Cozy atmosphere. The server and staff were friendly. The hummus included with the Three Little Dips appetizer was spot on, and great with the fresh bread chips. The truffle fries have an aroma and flavor that made me want to devour the whole basket. They have a good variety of domestic and craft beers, as well as wine on tap (!), and handcrafted cocktails. I tasted a few of the cocktails and I'm impressed. The flavor balance and careful choices made some if them an enjoyable tasting adventure. Their full bar is there if all you want is something simple or classic too. My wife and I split the Marra special, which a perfect blend of sausage, onion and cheese. The crust is what made it work- these guys know their dough and oven. Overall I'd say they have everything I want in a local bar/restaurant. I'm glad they are here, and I look forward to visiting often.

I really want this business to succeed. Great bar, fun atmosphere. Food needs more attention. Last visit, lettuce on my sandwich was seriously past it's use-by date. Yesterday the soup (Thai Shrimp and Rice) was just awful. Watery broth, mushy rice, over cooked shrimp. Please, please get your food up to par. Triple dip the best thing I've had on the menu. Just pay attention to quality control, please?

Visited several times and worked my way around the menu. Everything I tried was top notch. Friendly service and great drinks round the place out. Nice atmosphere and decor as well. Perfect spot for lunch/dinner/ or drinks.

Dropped in at 5pm on Valentine's day without a reservation. Restaurant looked to be 3/4 empty. First hostess said their computer was down. After a few minutes a second hostess came up and told us and the other couple standing there that they were packed with reservations and couldn't take anyone else. I was really surprised a new place would be so cavalier kicking paying customers out the door. I would think a problem solving minded staff might at least attempt to seat folks at the bar to keep dollars in the building, but I guess not.

Great addition to La Plata! I've eaten here many times and never been disappointed! Great wine and beer selections that change and expand frequently. Their specialty drinks are amazing, interesting, and surprising concoctions. Three little dips is a tasty appetizer, as is the newly added mussels. Love all the pizzas and sandwiches, which are buy 1get 1 half price on Thursdays! If you have a big appetite try the bison bacon burger!! Service is always excellent as well. Just go already!

Treated like family from the moment I got in! Sit at the bar with Allen, he makes a MEAN bloody mary! Say hello to chef Sal and ask for his Nutella cheesecake dessert...#drool!

My husband and went to the Bistro at 7:45 on a Thursday night. It was busy at the bar but we got a nice seat in the back with no problem. My husband's Cubano sandwich was a good portion and very tasty, with a nice amount of tang. I had the crab cakes which were outstanding with a Mediterranean salad. The crab cakes came with cinnamon slaw which was tangy and complimented the crab cakes nicely. The salad was ample and full of fresh veggies and asparagus. We especially liked the decor of the Bistro which was full of oak paneling and wood backdrops. Overall, it was an excellent dining experience. We will go back.
