My son wanted to come here for breakfast. We were seated after waiting less than 1o minutes. Once seated, it took our server 15 minutes to come take our drink order. We also placed our food order for fear we would have to wait even longer. Our food came out after 20 minutes. I was bought the wrong pancake order and our turkey bacon was under cooked. The server just said "oh I thought it looked funny" She took our turkey bacon and just nuked it in the microwave. Halfway through my correct order of pancakes, I saw they were also under cooked. Another, negative our server never came back to see if we needed a refill, never gave us napkins or checked to see how everything was going. The only reason why they are getting 2-stars is because my son liked his food.

It's ihop. It's fast, clean, food was good. They were happy to accommodate my real egg scramble eggs request. Waitress Sherri was super nice.

Upon being seated, I had to wipe crumbs and food off the bench from the previous guests. The hostess didn't think to apologize or offer to clean them after seeing what I did. Though the waitress was nice, her lack of the menu was apparent. When starting to order, we were told their were items unavailable for the evening. It would of helped to know that in the beginning. It was only 5% filled in the restaurant when myself, wife, and son were seated. It took over 35mins to get our food. I ordered the stuffed French toast. The picture showed two well sized pieces. When the food was brought, I was given one. When asked why didn't I receive two, the waitress said she tried telling the cook it's two, but he said it's only one. Really, you think I'm paying $8.99 for 1 stuffed French toast? There better be gold flakes on top. This is the 3rd time coming here, and the 3rd issue we had. My family will not be returning.

We were waiting outside at opening time with no one in sight to open the door. I was even looking through the window hoping to flag some one down and was just about to call the restaurant to open their doors, LOL! Thankfully, we didn't have to wait too long but still if the hours are at 6 am then open the door by 6 am! The food is as expected IHOP should be. I personally like to order the Grain and Nut pancakes which has oats, almonds and walnuts. It is so good with butter pecan syrup. The Smoke House combo's smoked sausage is very good too. I always eyeball my husband until he gives me a piece. :) The service was a bit slow and the waiter never came to refill my water but the place is clean and the food did not dissapoint.

Theres only 4 things i can say and that is the service was slow but also it was 2-3 am in the morning. The food was great..... till i woke up the next day vomiting Being sick all day wasn't the plan i had in mind. This is the 3rd time iv eaten at this IHop and have gotten sick. Will not return.

Such an excellent choice for lunch. We still had our mind set on breakfast. Great options for any meal. We plan to go back and try the lunch options. The breakfast was delicious. Our server, Sherry was focused, responsive and pleasant. Hope to see her there next time.

So I love IHOP and was so excited when one opened so close to me. Unfortunately this is the worst IHOP I have ever been too. I do not hold high standards for diners but on all three times I have come to this particular one they seem to be so under staffed that they cannot get the food out in less than 30 minutes after putting our order in. And there were only 3 other tables in the whole place! That was the most frustrating part but when we were asked if we could conserve the paper napkins because management deemed them to expensive to be used all willy nilly I almost put the two napkins the three of us were given in my water just to ask for more. Overall we got the sense management sucks and the staff are doing their best with that. So we no longer go to this IHOP even though it's literally right next to me.

#1 Not sure why there are two listing for the same restaurant on Yelp. Figure it out and combine it. Called in a order for a coworker to pick up for breakfast and lunch. Stated omelette with a side of fruit. Tilapia no mash potatoes add broccoli (which he said he could not do but would do ....so why say anything, just do it). Had to repeat the order several times because the person could not hear over the noise in the restaurant background. When you take a phone order you should be ready to take the order. Received the order and was told it would be ready in 10mins. Advised my coworker to check the order before leaving. Takes 15 mins to get to there, the food was not ready. The person who took the order (I am guessing the manager) asked for payment. Asked to verify the food, he seemed puzzled. Long and short the order was incorrect it came with pancakes and not fruit as asked. Whenever there is a issue placing an order over the phone it usually does not come out as requested. Not sure if he is not used to taking phone orders if it is a customer service issue. Sounds like it is both. Not surprised by this it is IHOP and I think they could care less. Next time will go with the original plan to go to Bob Evans or even Cracker Barrel. Thought this would be better because it was closer.

The waitress Shanna was super friendly, she joked with us and offered to take our photo with my camera when she saw me taking pics of the food. The food came out super fresh and with a short wait time. Everything about our time here was seamless and exactly how it should be. I'm relieved that the food was great and service was quick because I had other family who opted for fast food down the road for a quick meal. They were quietly playing 80's music I loved in the background, as Prince's "I will die for you" came on I couldn't help but shimmy my way out the door like Prince did in Purple Rain as my husband laughed.

Newly built restaurant, very clean. So happy they built this as a breakfast spy was very much needed for the area. I dined on a Sunday afternoon, and was seated immediately and was approached by my server within moments. My food arrived quickly. The food was standardly prepared and clearly fresh. I made a modification to my order and the cook appropriately honored it. I'm impressed. My waitress was incredibly attentive. So much so that the party behind me (with another waitress) verbally stated their jealousy.

New spot same attitudes. Waitress act like they don't want to be there, Food comes out cold. But all and all its Ihop the neighborhood location that family and friends like to go to either after the club or after a event and everything else is crowded. Same menu nothing really special. Its a new building more roomy and a better atmosphere.

This area needs more late night options, and this IHOP open 24 hours on weekends fills that need nicely. I had no idea this place was even here until a friend informed me he was sick of our usual diner and suggested an alternative. It hasn't been here for very long, and it seems this shopping center at the corner of RT1 and 175 is growing rapidly. My wife and I split a Cinn-A-Stack, which is a decadent way to have pancakes among several they offer. Honestly, they have a full menu, most of which is hard to screw up. The food is usually good, but you either go to IHOP for breakfast food or you go because they're open. Have some more coffee, hon.

Its IHOP people... so do not expect 5 star anything.. but for an IHOP its not bad. Well lit with comfy booths. The food wasn't bad when we went and it came out pretty quickly. My only issue was the service, it took a while for the server to come over to us, espically since we later found out that the host sat us in a closed section. But again food decent, service ok and it should start being open 24/7 which is great for those late night cravings for breakfast food. So hop don't walk to the IHOP in Jessup.

I gave it a 3 because Pattie made it happen for us. She was very friendly and just fun to be around with. She checked on us and what can I say if it wasn't for her I don't think I would come back. New place just needs a little more attention in training the rest of the staff.

We've been here a couple times. On the weekends it is super busy and LOUD. The service is usually sub-par but not always. The food is usually prepared well and tastes great (lots of calories I'm sure). The last time we went the temperature inside was quite cool, but it was SUPER humid. Like all of the menus and tables were slightly sticky because it was so humid. Even the salt shakers were all clumped up and unusable because they were wet inside with condensation (we tried four different salt shakers!). It was so weird - I have no idea how that happened but it made the place super uncomfortable to be in. Also one thing that kind of bothered me - the waitress had like 8 pictures of her kids on the inside flap of her order book. Obviously an attempt to guilt patrons into bigger tips - seems pretty unprofessional to me. Just do your job well and you'll be tipped well - no need for family photos.

I would think since it's in Jessup perhaps it may be better but this wasn't the case it went there a number of times and did not appreciate the service there it took a hour to be seated and another 30 minutes to be recognized by the waitress, during the order I was told they were missing ingredients so they couldn't make half of the things I asked for in my order and when it came time for payments I showed my military id the woman stated she doesn't "think" they do that here (if u don't think so you should always ask a manager) I had to actually tell her that IHOP does and I've done it there before

4.5 stars. It's brand spanking new so it's uber clean. Service was awesome. Food was even ok. I mean nothing gourmet but it was edible & the fruit was actually pleasant. In my experience, IHOP can serve really scary food so finding pretty good options here was mind blowing. Super crowded on weekends but they have a ton of staff so they quickly get folks in & out. It's really kid friendly which is important to me. Also, there are hardly any good breakfast/ lunch options in this hood so it's great that we now have this.

Food and service is great here. I've actually gone here twice in 2 weeks. My husband loves ihop and after 6 years of being together this one made me a believer. If we're going to ihop, this one is #1 on my list. Food is hot. Service is friendly and quick.

First and foremost I think they recruited their employees from the prisons down the road. Attitudes, ineptitude, and laziness abounds. About one mile down the road is Bob Evans, a major competitor with much better service. Middle of the day on a Wednesday and a less than half full restaurant and we finally left after ten minutes of not even a waitress acknowledging us. The place is so mismanaged that they have two signs that reads "We open 24 hours on Sat and Sun" both signs leaving out the "are".

IHOP recently opened and is located right next to the Advanced Auto Parts that's next to MOM's organic market. Since they've just opened, it's expected for their service to be questionable. You can't expect service to be perfect like Fogo De Chao. It's not all about the environment. There are other factors being played into opening a brand new restaurant from employee's chemistry with other employees to how the restaurant was organized when being made. Me and my brother came here 2 weeks ago and it was the only IHOP I've ever been to that wasn't packed. It had around 8 tables filled including ours. The organization of how the waiters and waitresses worked was clearly flawed, however, they tried their best and it wasn't that bad for us. Our waiter was cool and very informative. I decided to get the 4 piece fried chicken dinner with a Belgium waffle on the side and my brother got the fish and chips platter and a spinach sandwich with coffee. We got our food around 10-15 minutes later which is a bit slow compared to the other IHOP's i've been to, however, the food I got was FRESH. I mean FRESH. The chicken really felt like it was made to order and wasn't frozen like many other restaurants make it out to be. The skin was perfectly crisp and the meat was so juicy, tender, and flavorful. Then you take a spoon filled with mashed potatoes? Let's just say that this is the Best IHOP i've ever been to and it's pretty close to where I live! I had a piece of my brother's fish and that was really good too; mostly fish and just enough batter to hold it in. Service was pretty good even though it just opened up about a month ago, but beware, the service might not be consistent at the moment when it gets busy. But I'm sure it'll improve as time goes on. Food was fresh and surprisingly fantastic.

Recently opened. They were not busy during our visit at 12:30 PM on a Monday. Our waitress was nice enough though inexperienced. The kitchen needs to get it together. It took three visits by our waitress and a total of 45 minutes before we received all of what we ordered.

I went to the new IHOP in Jessup, MD and quite honestly I thought I was in the twilight zone! Just remember this restaurant has only been open for a month or two. When I got there only four or five people were eating in the restaurant, that included a family. There wasn't anyone around to welcome the guest. After a while a young man came in the front door and gave me a menu that I requested and walked away. The chef/cook came out of the kitchen answered my questions about the menu and convinced me to order a steak omelette. I was seated by the chef.A waitress brought me some water then told me she wasn't my waitress. Another lady (Hostess?) came by and asked if I had ordered. I told her the chef took my order but he didn't write it down. She didn't write it down either. The chef cooked the order, delivered it to my table and later gave me the check? The steak omelette was more like a hash brown omelette! it was 85 percent hash browns! I've never seen an omelette like this. There were a few pieces of mushrooms and tomatoes on the outside of the omlette. it didn't taste bad after I removed the hash browns. :-) The waiter complained that the chef gave me the check. He took my check and gave me another one? the total for a hash brown omelette with french toast instead of pancakes cost me $14. I gave the chef a $3 and the waiter a $2 tip. $19 for what? I talked to the manager, he appeared to understand that there were some problems but I didn't get the impression that he cared. :-) I won't be going back to this IHOP. It's the worst restaurant experience that I've ever had. Just my 2 cents. :-)

Slow service. Busy and nosy. Basically a chucky cheese for breakfast. Brought birthday coupon and was told only for one item and normally at all other ihop it can be used for anything within a certain criteria for the same price.

This place is new so I took the chance. Figured yeah it is jessup, and yeah jessup sucks. Much to my surprise though, the waitress (T?) was super polite and friendly. The food was exactly what I expected, came out fast, tasty, a little bit of grease... Everything to start your morning off right.

My grandson turned 13 years old today and we decided to take him out for breakfast at a newly opened IHOP in Jesup Maryland. We arrived around 930am and was quickly seated. As we followed the seater to booth in the rear of the restaurant, we noticed the spacious interior allowing room for walking between tables and booths; which was greatly appreciated. The number of waiters and waitresses were complementary to the amount of customers seated and arriving; however, due to growing pains of a new establishment, confusion as well. After placing our order with Monique, we observed an unhappy customer speaking with a waitress and then sharing her experience with another customer. Our waitress Monique was very attentive and professional even after we asked about the status of our food, 30 minutes later. She explained that the cooks were overwhelmed with the steady flow of food orders and I also assumed; corrections in orders. The manager spent most of his time in and out of the kitchen; I assume making sure the food was getting out on-time and correct. When our food did arrive, it was tasty and cooked correctly except for Angel's hash browns (over cooked) and fruit bowl (fruit did not seem to be washed) and was removed from the bill. We plan to return to this IHOP and expect as it blossoms to a restaurant chain that can handle the influx of customers; so shall the service and food.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Tell us it's going to be a 20 min wait, wind up waiting 40 minutes. Then go inside to inquire as to why people who came in after us are being sat then the host and MANAGER begin to argue with me saying they called our name. Talk about poor customer service, definitely will not be coming back anytime soon.

I had one issue with the food. Today I ordered the strawberry stuff french toast. It was ice cold inside. So I sent it back and it came back but strawberry on side like I could not tell the difference between it being cold strawberry and cold stuff french toast.

Service was ok but not great. The food was really good and portion size is good. Chicken and waffles were yummy.
