Pretty good BBQ and the sides are pretty tasty. Very laid back atmosphere which makes for a good meal. Ask for Sean he will take good care of you. Check out the dry rub wings they are Banging yummy

I'm reserving my usual BBQ judgement of this place until I've tried the ribs and brisket (my usual go to's at a joint like this), but overall pretty solid. Meat was awesome, the sauces original, and the sides good. I tried the chopped Carolina pork BBQ with slaw (although my slaw showed up on my dining companion's plate). The chopped pork (with extra vinegary sauce, no tomato) was probably the best from that style I've ever had. Does tend to make a bun soggy, though. Mac and cheese was good, not spectacular. DC has the Arkansas beef. Not sure I've ever tasted anything like it. Braised, cubed brisket chunks were covered in a spicy, tangy, traditional BBQ sauce, maybe a hint of something smoky in the sauce? Very good. I tasted a bite of his cornbread; moist and sweet, but nothing to write home about. Good selection of bottled beer, and decent happy hour specials posted. I am going to dock them a star for the quality of the paper towel roll that served as a napkin; not soft enough for thorough face mopping. ;-)

Solid BBQ place. Not a destination but a great place if you're looking for a bite in the area. My beef brisket sandwich was good, and the fries were great. The service was attentive and the ambiance was pretty good for a BBQ joint.

Good standard barbecue fare. Brisket is ok, ribs are good, NC pull pork is ok. Nothing outstanding but nothing bad either. If it was not close I may not have been so many times. Very nice wait staff. We do like the decor but the food is just ok. Definitely not anything like Texas style barbecue. Not a smoke ring to be found on the brisket but good for a quick dinner with the kids if Mom needs a night off.
