I was here years ago when I was still an undergrad at UMD and I swear this was one of the sketchiest restaurants I've ever been in stateside. I'd rather go to a Perkin's late night at a truck stop and stay at a Master's Inn than come back to Tabeer. First off, the food was god awful. Stewed to living death, musty, greasy, just a great travesty. It was almost like ten selections of the exact same shit but with different types of dead animals. I went during lunch service and it was half empty except for a a few guys eyeball fucking the hell out of my table. I would not be surprised if this was a cover for some illegal operation. Why would someone pay to eat this shit?

This is the worst food I've ever had the misfortune to eat. It smells funky as hell and God forbid they turn on the ac in case their fume exuding bacteria die. The food is old and made me throw up. Please avoid this restuarant. I never had an account on yelp bit I had to sign up to warn you guys. Try kabob and karahi instead. It's fabtastic. Nothing personal for or against any restuarant.

The Worst food I had in my life. We went today Saturday with family for their weekend buffet. Their Biriyani is the the worst I had. They used all meat waste in their goat Biriyani. I would guess they getting all the meat waste for their next door meat market. It was the most gross awe ful Biriyani we ever had. Goat curry is flavorless and awful. The list goes on and on on. The people are so rude. The only star I'm giving is for the cleanliness, the place was pretty clean. At the end they asked us to put the balance in a plastic container as tip. We were like wow, we were gonna of course tip but in a split second after givig the balance told us to put the balance in that container for tip. They need to learn manners as well means how to acknowledge their customers. I would never go back and waste my money to eat meat waste.

Honestly the food is amazing. The owner personally comes out and asks us if everything's alright. This restaurant is very underrated. I was nervous to try it because of the bad reviews but I would not listen to the reviews because I love it

Update: they've recently remodeled and it's the full on authentic Pakistan inside! Brightly lit with lots of tables. Freshly painted walls really make this place look different. They recently also added a halal chinese menu. Names of dishes look like familiar American Chinese dishes, but the flavors lean more towards the rest of the items on offer. Really excellent stuff!

Best all you can eat buffet I have been to in a long long time and well worth the price. A great hidden gem tucked away very out of sight in Langley Park.

This restaurant is in the La Union Mall on University Boulevard amidst a plethora of international restaurants and businesses. I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised about the quality of the food. Everything on the buffet was fresh. It's clear that the owner of this business cares about providing authentic food at a good price. The manager allowed us to use our Restaurant.com certificate on the buffet even though the certificate said we had to order off the menu. We were very appreciative. Tabeer also sells boxes of Pakistani and Indian sweets by the pound for take-home. Though this isn't the kind of restaurant I'd normally seek out, I was very pleased with my experience at Tabeer.

I went to try tabeer restaurant but was not familiar with the Hyattsville area. There was a lot traffic and people around. At first it was hard to find, I pulled up into the shopping center because I saw a sign for Indian food. That place was called Tiffin. I wanted to try Tabeer so I tried the next shopping center. I saw the name on the sign, but there are a lot of places in that small shopping mall. It wasn't a shopping strip but rather a building with a lot of business in it. A mini mall. I decided to drive around to the back of the building and I saw the entrance for tabeer. When I first went in the place was empty but I love Pakistani-Indian food so I decided to wait. A woman came out and she was very friendly and polite, which in some places I've been to it's rare. I wanted to order off the menu, but there was no menu to order from. She said that they do to go from their buffet. I was a little disappointed, but since she was so friendly and even though no one was there the bar area looked clean and all the food had covers on it. One other family came in while I was there. I got the food to go and came back home. I really enjoyed the food. It was really good, I was happy. Give it try, even though the building is really run-down, the woman was friendly and the place was clean. Food was good.

I remember the first time I went to to tabeer back in 1999 back when bill Clinton had just visited and made it famous it was clean crowded and had excellent food. Fast forward to 2013 and what we have here ladies and gentlemen is a disgrace. the food tastes good but you can't enjoy it due to the restaurant being dirty. There's bugs crawling around the food and little annoying flies who force you to swat at them every few seconds when you should be enjoying you're food. there was a rag on top of the bread seriously? I didn't drink their water because I'm a hundred percent sure it was tap water. Its sad because this place was a part of my childhood and it was supposed to bring back memories of when I used to visit it as a kid but I left angry and sick today. It's sad and I'm not going back unless management decides to clean this place up and I see some good reviews P.S. I don't think bill and Hillary Clinton are going back any time soon either
