DO NOT EAT HERE... there are better carryout options in the area. 1. the attitudes of the people working here are horrible... we pay your bills! A month ago shorter woman threw a bag of food at a customer, i did not think much of as i thought he did something wrong.. few weeks ago, another woman got a horrible attitude with me over the phone bc she didn't hear my order correctly... when i called back to make sure she had the order right SHE HUNG UP ON ME... LAST DRAW... ordered there last night only to finD hair in my rice... DISGUSTING... DO NOT SUPPORT THESE PEOPLE.

What a HOOD spot. They have everything a hood spot needs. there is extra thick bullet proof glass and blunt wrappers for sale. They have two working slot machines in front with a local gambling his way to a better life in front of the place. The Food all tho was chicken it tasted like fish, i can only guess from the same deep fryer. They will not accept credit cards for under $10. How hungry do you have to be to get out of the car for this crap?

Personally I never quite figured out why EVERYONE in the hood raves about Lennys. I guess because they stay open late? The food is really mediocre & the place is unhygenic. This is one of the better carryouts in the Landover area but def not 5 stars smh. I'll give them 3 bcuz the mumbo sauce is really good. Every carryout I have been to in DC, beats Lennys tastewise.

Disclaimer: This is a Chinese take out restaurant, no seating except for what's on the window sill. It is a Chinese take out place so keep that in mind when you are deciding where to go for lunch! I ordered the chicken curry lunch combo. It comes with fried rice. Okay, the chicken curry is not really chicken curry as I would think of an Indian dish, it's basically a bunch of onions and some chicken stir-fried in some curry like broth (probably). The fried rice was more like Spanish rice, I mean, there was no peas or carrots or onions or anything, it was just like orange colored rice. I usually state why I take stars off, a lot of people don't, I just try to equate the stars to major areas, makes sense in my mind. First star off, other customers before me were really having a hard time communicating with the register lady, I initially thought there was a language barrier between a Chinese lady and some black folk, but in the end, I think she was being rude. Second star, chicken curry wasn't really chicken curry. Third star, fried rice was more like Spanish rice. And I wasn't really in the mood for Spanish rice. I've been here before so I was a little surprised. George's (another Chines takeout) is about 100meters away in the strip mall, I would probably go back there before I went back to Lenny's again, sorry.

THE WORST! Omg do not even get me started! The food was absolutely terrible. It was not fresh at all, one bite into my meal and I couldn't even finish the bite. The chicken wAs hard and had gotten stuck in my teeth. We immediately returned our food, and the lady quickly stated she was not giving a refund before we even said anything. There was not empathy at all she didn't even offer a different dish. She didn't look at the food to see that it had not been touched and she took the food from us and did not give the food back or our money bAck! Do not waste your time with this place. It's too many carry outs around to put up with that.
