I love this location! It's near the outlet mall so you can shop after you eat. There is a lot of seating and everything is very clean and open. And now to their food. Panera bread is awesome. My favorite is their 1/2 and 1/2. You can choose 1/2 sandwich and a soup or salad. It's the perfect lunch special.

I like the soup and sandwich combo. I always get the Italian, no cheese with the chicken noodle soup. Good stuff!

I'm new to the area and the Panera close to my house seems to always make me sick. So I'm trying this one. So far so good. It is pretty crowded, and people don't seem to be eating or even drinking coffee. They seem to be just hanging around. I came to have breakfast, work on homework, then have lunch. Hopefully, it gets quieter, because it's too loud to even eat breakfast.

It's a chain after all and they do a decent job on everything. Clean, comfortable, and good food. I like the breads and occasionally will get a loaf to take home. The remodeled recently which took away from the more comfortable feel around the fireplace, and that's a shame. Coffee is OK but nothing to get excited about. This one tends to be crowded (come to think of it, practically all the ones in the area are!), but they move the lines quickly without sacrificing the food. We stick to the sandwiches for lunch, and then mostly paninis or a soup and sandwich combo. The baked egg souffles are great for a quick breakfast. I love, and consequently avoid, the sweet baked goodies, preferring to mooch off what my spouse orders! All in all, a decent place to grab a bite.

My close gf lives far far away but since I heart her, I go the distance when I miss her mug. We usually go to P for breakfast and sit back to destroy some time. Oh, it's also near the Arundel Mills Mall. Apparently this location has free Wi-Fi but every time I reach for my iPhone, we end up talking non-stop for hours. For other free Wi-Fi locations, check panerabread.com/cafes/wi… Her usual is the grilled egg and cheese sandwich that consists of eggs and a thick slice of Vermont white cheddar which are both grilled between two slices of freshly baked Ciabatta. I normally choose the Applewood-smoked bacon with egg but no cheese version. Our selections of pastries, however, differ constantly. The Nutty Oatmeal Raisin cookie fills me up for hours. Not sure if it's the butter or the walnuts. The Cinnamon Crunch bagel really should be on the pastries section because it is uber sweet. This yummy has cinnamon and vanilla chips with a crunchy sweet shell of cinnamon and sugar.... yes, I know. Their scones put me in a carb coma for at least an hour. The gf likes the familiar cinnamon roll and the bear claw that has an almond filling. I'm grateful we just sit and talk, for a few hours, after we consume some serious carbs. Clearly these sweets are not for everyday. And the buttery goodies kill our appetites for hours. It's a friendly casual place and the breakfast orders are ready in a few minutes. Once in a while you may have to wait for available seating, in the mornings, at this particular location. The other customers most likely do what we do (LOL).

I get take-out all the time from this location. Breakfast and lunch. I love Panera, so it goes without saying that this is one of my favorites. However, this particular Panera gets extremely crowded during lunch. I would never try to find a seat here between the hours of 11 and 2. I love the employees but they are young and sometimes seem a little inexperienced in moving a hectic lunchtime crowd. I will say they have an awesome bedside manner and huge smiles on their faces so I don't really mind the long waits all that much. One girl even gave me a free lemonade for my troubles. Such a sweetie!

Panera bread is a unique food concept. They have a cafe section that serves soups, salads and sandwiches, and a bakery section where you can order assorted bread, pastries etc. The type of bread bowls, or soups served inside a cut-out bread sphere, vary by week. For example, Monday, Wednesday and Saturday you can get potato soup, whereas French Onion is served daily. The place has really filling meals for those hungover mornings when you really need to fill your stomach or rub that rum out of your mouth by chewing on bread.

What the hell happened to this place? I used to go here regularly, but now I'm done. Their full size salads are about half as small as they used to be (same price!) and their french onion soup that I used to LOVE is now disgusting. It doesn't even taste like french onion and now there is shredded cheese? What?!?!

Lunchtime crowd is crazy. Very busy and packed. But the lines were fast and efficient. I had the soup/salad combo and the portion was pretty large. The chicken cesar was packed full of large chicken pieces and the tomato bisque was perfect. I loved it. Tables were cleared fast so there was no waiting to grab a table. Staff is nice and helpful. Highly recommend for those who want a healthy meal.

Yup, I am a fan. This place is pretty consistent whether I have gone to the one in Palm beach garden or the one here in Hanover close to work (Fort Meade). I tried their mozzarella sun dried tomato sandwich and tomato soup combo and it was sooo good. The place is crowded during lunch but you can call your order in. Just go to the web site to check out the menu and give them a shout, your food will be ready upon your arrival. Great food, if you don't mind the lunch crowd. The service is never fabulous or anything, it seems that you are just a number in this kinda place, but it's a chain, what do you expect. PS they have a kids menu and they are pretty flexible with making you order how you want it.

Good food, good prices. The coffee is always hot and fresh in the morning; their hazelnut coffee is quite good. The wide menu ensures there's something for everyone, with plenty of healthy options for people on a diet. The Panera Bread web site contains very detailed nutritional information, so you can figure out what's best for you before you visit. The lines at this location can get long, but the staff is good so the wait is never too bad. The seating area can be crowded at peak hours, but I've always found a table. The weekday lunch crowd knows not to linger.

So, I have been to this Panera Bread several times...in the last week, I have been three times...twice for breakfast and once for lunch...I write this in hopes for improvement. Monday, four trainees coveted the two cash registers to the far left. One trainee threw a piece of paper to the trash bin near the window. (as I the consumer stood there to place my order!) She missed. She did not pick up the paper..nor did the other trainees...or the two trainers. Wow...that was interesting but I had a meeting..grabbed sandwich and left. Returned for a lunch meeting, noticed the same paper on floor. Interesting...that made me take a closer look at the floor...dirty, unswept and unmopped. I did not eat or drink. Wow..really Panera Bread..where are your standards for basic cleanliness. Further exploration revealed dust and dirt in several spots in the restaurant - window sills, floors, the nooks and crannies near the food service area. I did not buy my usual breakfast on Tuesday, because I noticed that the same paper and another paper and crumbs the size of bagels littering the floor. I really appreciate cleanliness. Come on Panera Bread, get it together. Get your trainees off the cash registers and on to floor and dusting detail. I do plan to return tomorrow to check the cleanliness of the place...I think I will check the restrooms first. Please, join me to make sure Panera Bread is clean and appreciative of the consumer.

I am so use to the great service Panera offers in California/Las Vegas, I am at this location with my family and let me tell you that their service is TERRIBLE. This is a mixed review. When this location first opened I was thrilled because of it's convenience to Baltimore, Washington and Annapolis for a large group of folks to connect in a local place, buuuuutttttt I wasn't initially thrilled with the service. The manager at the time was extremely rude about getting people to leave the storefront, even if you still had food on your tray! Apalling. Since then, however, things have improved. I was VERY happy with both my service and their respect of the gluten issue. I am tickled that the staff does 3 very important things to insure my safety: 1) they go tell the food makers that I have an allergy instead of relying on the printed receipt 2) the food makers change their gloves 3) they put dressings on the side Thanks Panera for making sure that I won't get sick!

In my quest to avoid reviewing chains, I thought I should still mention one thing about this place. While it is just like the other Panera's in the area with good bread/food, good coffee, and decent service, I am a little disappointed with the lack of outlets! It's clear that they used to have outlets, that have now been covered to prevent people from plugging in their laptops to just perch and do work, but that's the beauty of panera-breads! It's a little ironic they have free wi-fi, as I gladly went there to catch up on studying, but quickly left after realizing they weren't so student friendly.

I needed a place to wait out the traffic so I decided to stop at Panera bread for some soup. Service was good and the place looks nice and clean. The French Onion soup, however, was salty beyond belief. I was thirsty for hours after having it. Also, it wasn't hot enough, the cheese didn't melt. And croutons? I know that is how alot of places do it but I expected more from Panera. Oh well, I probably will hang out at McDonalds next time instead.

Good service.this is my daughter's favorite mother-daughter place..... When we want time together we go here and chit chat / girl stuff. the sandwiches are good and the soup is yummy I love the broccoli cheese soup. the only downfall is I wish they would have kept their whole wheat baguette instead of the little hard rolls that they now have ... Other than that its good

This is one of the worst experiences I have had at a panera. However, I didn't even bother complaining because I was out to lunch with a friend. I ordered half a sandwich which cost me $6.67 and it was pathetic. The sandwich half was smaller than my hand and the avocado was going bad. It had roots coming out of it and big black spots. Terrible quality.

My boyfriend and I were in need of a fast paced breakfast where we would still be able to sit down and eat but be out within 30 minutes, Panera it was. I ordered a breakfast sandwich that consisted of sausage, egg, and cheese on ciabatta bread. I wish their sausage wasn't so flat and that they would place more egg on them. The sandwiches there tend to be lacking "meat." With that said, whatever my boyfriend ordered was absolutely disgusting that the fact that this item is even on the menu was entirely shocking to us. John ordered a chicken southwest flatbread. It apparently comes with chicken on it, where this chicken was? I am not sure... There was NO MEAT. He was able to find two soggy wet slimy pieces (EW)... The "flatbread" (literally) had black bean hummus (more like a flat bean dip), feta, southwest corn blend, Napa cabbage blend (this is all you taste), cilantro (didn't see it), with BBQ ranch dressing (way to much placed on the flatbread). He was so grossed out he wouldn't continue to eat it; I thought he was being dramatic so I tasted it and was so upset that I did. Luckily I had a few more bites of my sandwich to free me of the dreadful taste (just think of cabbage drench in ranch). He is to "nice" of a person to complain and wouldn't let me go up there and attempt to get my money back. What made me even more upset was that the cashier forgot to ask about our rewards card, so I totally forgot to give it to him =( I always go here and there are couples of times that they missed my transactions added to my Panera rewards count. I understand that people forget, however, the cashier should always ask without question--place it on a note card or post-it on the cash wrap! *Note that their caramel latte is AMAZING. But 1360 calories is WAY to much.

I stopped in for one of their Broth Bowls. I got the one with chicken, spinach, noodles and cabbage. It was terrible. I should have known from all the advertisement that if you need to pitch/push a product this much then it must not be good. It wasn't. Not flavorful at all.

I really love panera bread and i normally would get the Mediterranean sandwich with chips or the pick 2 with a soup. Speaking of soups. I love the broccoli and cheddar. They use real broccoli and not that imitation stuff. I wanted to switch up today to try the lobster roll. Now this has been out before and apparently it's back. Maybe its back by popular demand. I was hesitant about trying it the last time because i thought it wasn't worth it. Boy was i wrong. The sandwich was all that and a bag of chips which I had by the way. The lobster meat is sooo satisfying. So fulfilling. So tender. They had meat galore. Now that's what I'm talking about. If I'm going to spend a lot on a sandwich. That's what I need. The cost was $16.49 it was soooo worth every penny. This is I Repeat fresh lobster meat. Not over cooked But the real deal and it was very fresh. It came with a pickle and what ever side you select. I had the chips. I love panera's crunchy chips. I don't know how long this sandwich will be around so I'm going to take advantage of it before it goes away. I suggest you do the same. If you don't like it you can blame it on me but i think you will if you're a Lobster lover. :)

Kids used to love the baguettes here. Unfortunately seems quality has gone down the hill. The sandwiches aren't as good anymore either. Only got through half of the Italian sandwich. I will go to Subwa- and save a few bucks. Still good place to go with coworkers for the ambiance:)
Can the front person in the cashier counter please always ask if they have the panera rewards. I always go here and there are couples of times that they missed my transactions added to my panera rewards count. I understand that people forget because this time I was late to tell them to add, but the cashier should always ask without question.

Been here a few times, usually when shopping or coming from BWI. The food is always good and the service pretty quick. This restaurant tends to be quite busy and it's not as big as other Panera's but yet the food and service isn't compromised. My favorites here are the combos. For soup: I prefer the vegetable ones. The fall special is the squash soup and it is really flavorful. For salad: I like them all, especially the seasonal salads, but they're all good. For sandwich, I usually stay simple like the turkey with avocado, lettuce & tomato on half country white. Can never go wrong at Panera. Ice teas are freshly made too with variety of flavors!

This review is for the catering service for this particular location of Panera Bread. My job entails, at times, making sure large groups of people get fed good food and get fed on time. I know it's a chain, but Panera Catering fits that bill. They offer Sandwich Boxes, Salad Boxes, and 1/2 Sandiwch - 1/2 Salad Boxes. The possibilities are endless and the selections available are solid. The Sandwich Boxes include not only the sandwich choice but also chips, a pickle and a cookie. You can't go wrong for under 10 bucks here. All attractively packed into a nicely constructed paperboard box with napkin included. I think with the Salad Boxes you get a piece of baguette instead of the chips. For my most recent catering order with this location, I branched out a bit and ordered not only the regular Bacon Turkey Bravo and Asiago Roast Beef but also the Mediterranean Veggie and Italian Combo. Those were the first that ran out. I got a peek at one of the Veggie sandwiches and I'm definitely ordering more of those next time! Oh, and the employees that I come in contact with here have a terrific attitude and are very helpful.

Who doesn't like a soup and sandwich when it's cold outside? French onion soup and an italian sandwich hits the spot. Conveniently located near Fort Meade and away (across the street) from the hustle and bustle of Arundel Mills Mall. Great spot for a quick bite to eat at lunch. Service is always friendly and the food is consistent.

I only go to Panera for breakfast...I kind of have become sick of their lunch rushs and entrees. I've been to far too many Paneras but this location seems to not only have their act together, but the freshness is superb. My favorite breakfast item is the bacon, egg, and cheese on ciabatta bread. Too many Paneras pre-cook the egg and just stow it away and reheat it. That is friggin gross, as it comes out slimey. If I wanted something like that, I'd go to Dunkin' Donuts. This one cooks it to order every time.

I was really hoping that a previous review of another Panera was isolated to that location but I think I was wrong. It just seems like the quality of their lunch has gone downhill. Their pastries and bread still look quite good but I have left unimpressed and a little poor the last two times I attempted lunch at a Panera. First off, the place was mad house. Not a seat in the house. Secondly, the food was mediocre. I feel Iike I get more presentation and care at Subway and the prices would have been cheaper. My daughter's sandwich was lacking and made with awful American cheese. I was actually grateful I had to take it home so I could add good cheese to our sandwiches. In short, it seems that the prices have gone up but the quality has gone down. That is just disappointing.

My wife and I stopped by here after a bit of shopping at Costco right down the street. It was a Saturday around the lunch time of day and it wasn't super crowded but it was busy. The nice thing about it was that my wife has been having some dental issues and needed to eat some "soft" food. So they were willing to accommodate her with a soup and mac and cheese instead of the standard soup and 1/2 sandwich. I always think it's a nice touch when they're willing to go outside of the standard menu choices to help a customer out. The food was good and the place is plenty spacious to be able to find a place to sit and eat.

Panera is usually a good experience for me, unfortunately this one missed the mark completely. I'm not sure if the entire staff was in training but the order was not good. The bread was hard, my soup was not the usually tasty deliciousness that you find at a Panera. My dad ordered a shot of espresso & was a given an entire cup full of espresso! Who does that?

Great food, Great Service and Great desserts. The soups are very good; all of them.

Super friendly employees early in the morning. Never had a order go wrong here. Great place to swing by for a quick breakfast or lunch. My favorites are the steak sandwich and potato soup. The breakfast soufflés are delish too

They only have clam chowder on Fridays :(. Their tables aren't always clean. But the food is great and the lines moves fast. I would suggest trying the turkey avocado sandwich on sourdough.

Great turkey sausage, egg white, spinach sandwich while waiting for boy to finish with his Chemistry Tutor. Definitely order it again!

Great food! Not as fast as some but not too slow. They did forget my bread last time. ;(
