I was in the area and craving ice cream so I decided to stop in.. I haven't had Cold Stone in years so I knew I was in for a treat.. The line was wrapped around the store and moving pretty slow as it seemed like everyone in front of me wanted to taste 10 things before they decided to get anything.. It seemed like a bunch of high school kids working behind the counter so my expectations weren't too high to start.. Though they all seemed a little confused my ice cream was made (only after one bump in the road) and I was out on my way.. They get four stars because you really can't go wrong with ice cream.. One deduction because it should take 20 mins for two scoops!

I hate writing bad reviews but every time we go to this place the service is lousy. If I'm paying that much for ice cream, a smile doesn't seem like it's too much to ask for. Especially when they have posters on the wall raving about their friendly employees. Of course the ice cream tastes great, but if a place is going to sell itself on service than they should attempt to deliver.

Always an awesome afternoon treat. One thing to look out for are their seasonal flavors, right now they have pumpkin and marshmallow. This place also now offers yogurt, probably because people are more health conscious now-a-days. This place isn't busy that often, just normally on weekend nights. A bit pricey, but that's just the nature of all cold stones. The customer service was good, everyone who has helped us have been very friendly and always give their recommendations. This place is a weekly thing for us.

After a super hard workout at Blue Crab Cross Fit on 175 (about a 12 minute drive to Cold Stone) I decided that I wanted to gain the lost calories back with a super yummy cold treat--in the pouring cold rain. My sister and I came running in to Cold Stone, halfway during our sprint from the car to the door we thought that it was closed because no one was in there. Once the little annoying bell rang a friendly smile came into the room from the back kitchen. He immediately helped us pick out our ice cream and made it within seconds. My sister got Cake Batter flavored ice cream with added cookie dough and I got the Very Very Berry from off the menu. Both of these orders are our usual. We do tend to taste some ice cream flavors when there is something new and exciting to try--they always allow you to taste before purchasing. The flavors that taste amazing here is: cake batter, cheesecake, sweet cream, cotton candy, pistachio, and Oreo. I am sure there are tons of great yummy ones, but those are the ones we love. Cold Stone is not cheap and it's crazy how expensive they can get, but it is worth it. OHEMGEE ALSO...Do not leave this place without having a cupcake. Your life will never be the same. You were warned.

I picked up birthday cake for my daughter today and we loved. My daughters have peanut, tree nut and egg allergies and they made cake for us! It wasn't cheap but I think it was worth it. We have hard time finding a store who would make cake for us because of my daughters food allergies. We've been ordering cakes two times a year for last 3years and always perfect! When we go there I have to ask them to get the ice cream from the back because of my daughters food allergies and they are always friendly about it. I have gotten attitudes from other ice cream stores before. I haven't had any problems here and friendly staff.

Anyone who is familiar with ice cream has probably gotten familiar with Cold Stone. A chain, but hand crafting their creations can sometimes lead to inconsistencies. Having moved near this location, I was pretty thrilled to have a 5 minute access window to some non-Giant or Safeway stocked brands such as Edy's, Turkeyhill, etc. However, the couple of times I've been here, I've noticed that the topping quantities have varied. I also always only get an Everybody's size to take back so the deliciousness lasts longer. The first time I came here, I ordered the Cookie Doughn't You Want Some which was perfect. Tons of each topping which made every bite awesome. The second time I came here, I ordered the Banana Caramel Crunch which came a little short with the banana. It looked like the banana was kind of small, but also the person packing my ice cream didn't make enough and was about half an inch shy from making it to the top. And now yesterday, my wife and I ordered the Strawberry Blonde and the person making the ice cream made way too much and had to give us the overflow in a small cup. Can't complain about that. When we broke it out for our desert, we noticed that none of the strawberries were cut into smaller pieces. They were big, hard, and frozen and didn't add much to the mix, but the pie crust bits were nice distributed. All in all, it's whatever to me. It's still delicious any way it's made.

I have never been to a cold stone I did not like and this one located across from arundel mills mall is no exception. I last visited her after a family dinner at Flippin pizza. It's only one or two doors down so I could not resist. I have yet to try any of their specialty options as I am stuck on creating my own quart of joy. With such a variety of mix ins your truly cant go wrong. My favorite blend is the cheesecake ice cream with coconut, chocolate shavings and almond :). Spoonfuls of heaven to my taste buds. Their kid options are cost friendly and just the right size. I signed up for their email program and get a coupon almost every week. Good bye swimsuit, hello 2 scoops. gotta have it!

Sarah C wet my appetite for something sweet, so I went to C-Stone right across the street. We spoke of fro-yo and a mixed creation, But both were a no-go at this location. I'll settle for a regular berry flavored cream, while mochi and red beans permeate my dreams. The Reese's and Oreo added a little kick; these pieces aren't fro-yo, but still something to lick.

Expensive, sub-par ice cream served in a shop with all the charm of a Jiffy Lube waiting room. We won't be back.

Over priced and underwhelming. The staff are a bunch of ignorant jerks as well. I was skipped over in the line by one employee who was not paying attention to anything except her iphone, and then when I got to the register to pay for my order, the fat cow there would not look up and acknowledge me while she brok her roll of quarters, counted them, and then walked away when she was done. Thankfully there was a brand new employee working who did her best to help me, but she was so new to the job that she didn't know how to work the register, while the other employees were not helping her learn the ropes at all. I'm sure this isn't representative of all cold stones, but the service at the arundel mills cold stone has a history of being lax. The comment about being overpriced and underwhelming does apply to all cold stones, however. Go somewhere else.
