Pay the extra $1 and go to Western Sizzlin or Golden Corell. The food here is awful. I have it a try thinking maybe people were being to harsh but really. The food was absolutely disgusting. Even messed up the spaghetti. How do you mess up spaghetti?!

I'm gonna make this quick. The food sucked, no were near Golden Coral but the service was good so I do have to give credit were its due I guess. I don't get it, Ryan's and Old Country Buff. are one in the same & the meal I had at Old C not to long ago was far superior to this even the kids complained.

Sigh. For personal reasons, namely the name of the restaurant as it relates to moi, I didn't want to get too excited to eat here for the first time because I might get disappointed. Man, I'm smart for anticipating that it wasn't going to be good. I *was* disappointed, indeed. But it's not all bad news. If I had to describe it, it's like a Golden Corral, but not as good nor does it have as much. Some key delicious things: bread and sweet butter (a requisite for these types of buffets), grilled steak, fried chicken and orange sorbet to finish off. I can't vouch for anything else on that buffet line. As a rice connoisseur, its rice was hard and flavorless--two unforgivable sins to me. Its greens were overcooked and not very green anymore. The service is good, though. The staff was friendly and attentive. But in the shopping area where this restaurant was located, there were several other restaurants that may have been more pleasing to the palette. Sigh.

The worst tasting food we have had at a Ryan's ever! The best thing was the steak, but you literally get a 2 inch by 3 inch piece at a time. Nothing had salt or seasoning. The ribs had no flavor. Staff were friendly but that didn't make up for the lack of food quality. Paid 30$ for 2 adults and my 3 year old. Will never return.

Food poisoning has to be a regular occurrence here. Rarely have I seen such a dirty place where food is served. Fingerprints everywhere, spills not cleaned... There again I'm not a fan of chain restaurants, but those I've been to this tends to be the norm.

On our way to Virginia we stopped here for lunch. The place is big. The selection of food is very big. The service was good too. Nothing can beat that price - $6.99 for lunch per person. You can eat as much as you wants and what you wants. Unlimited drinks refill. The food was tasty. The place was clean. I think that for the money you can not complain about anything.

We used to love going here. I don't know what happened, but they went downhill. One of our last visits, a couple of employees were arguing very loudly by the grill. No one had hair nets. We found hair in the eggs. The food was cold and some pans were empty. The next visit, this was when the ice cream was dipped into cups by an employee; my boyfriend pulled a hair out that had to be 4 inches long. The girl behind the counter had very long hair, not in a hair net. We showed it to the waitress and she just gave us an irritated look. I requested the manager, who was cooking without a hair net on. We told him that we have had hair in our food on more than one occasion. He was very disinterested until I informed him that I perform preliminary audits for our food grade company and am certified for FDA audits. I asked him what the policy there was for sanitation and hair nets. He looked alarmed and admitted that they were required. I told him he was setting a very bad example for the employees. We did go back 1 other time, no hair nets and the guy making the desserts had no gloves on. They do have an awesome salad bar, too bad their attitudes and sanitary practices are so lacking.

Horrible service. Acted as if they may have been on drugs or intoxicated. Rude & nasty managers. Not just one but 2 of them. It goes without saying after this bad experience then being in bed the next day with food poising from chicken I will never go back. I will just share it with everyone I know from social media to word of mouth! Since I work with the public in a $6.7 million store I will be talking to many!!!!

I'm giving this rating because it is cleaner that golden corral and the food is better. I like southern food so I was happy to see fried okra and chicken. The service was fast and efficient.

I gave this place a 1star. If I could have it would be negative stars. I have been to ryans all down the east coast and have had great food and service. This one however is horrible. 1 st time we went I got chicken that was bloody and cold in the middle. 2nd time we went for breakfast and half the buffet was empty. They were busy but weren't refilling anything but the cheap foods. 3rd time there was syrup all over the seat of the booth. I'm talking a dinner plate size amount which ended up all over my moms pants. Not a sorry out of anyone. I'm done going to this dump. G If you want a buffet go to golden corral.

We go here when we are hungry but for nothing specific, we just want food and fast. That's what you get. The buffet is LOADED with traditional southern foods, fried, very breaded, high salt, high fat floating in butter water vegetables. However, you can manage to eat healthy with the salad bar and then use either the grilled steak and/or baked chicken minus the skin. Chicken has always been moist and tasty, the grilled steak is a gamble to have it available, someone at the grill and the preferred temperature. Once I spotted a Manager watch me try to get a piece of steak and then I gave up and he didn't say a word or try to help ~ VERY BAD for a MANAGER of the Restaurant. Good stuff is the bread and sweet butter, grilled steak, broasted Chicken and fake cheese cake dessert. They do have a small taco station and plenty of dessert selection. We have pretty good service although my husband always has to beg for water refills but then he really goes through the water but then that and clearing plates are the only things the server has to keep up with. SO just ok, it is what it is.
