Looks like they are remodeling a bit. The strong musty odor is gone, thankfully. Had the chopped steak with fried onions, mashed and a Cesar salad. All in all pretty good. Good service again.

Visited here for the first time. The restaurant has a strong smell when you walk through the door. It doesn't seem clean or finished. Food was okay. Nothing special. Waitress was kind and helpful. We won't return.

Food is good with big portions. Service is good, Interior needs remodeled, still reminds me of the previous restaurant. musty smell. I would go back again despite the negatives. If they renovate the interior I would go five stars.

You need to read this review!!!! I used to manage restaurants up to 3 stars and I eat out often! I'm also pretty big, so I am definitely a professional! Haha I live near this place and tried it out one day out of curiosity. I used to love the restaurant that was previously in there. PROS: I have to say, the food is fantastic! I'm mean really fantastic!!! I've gone in now 6 times and bring a new person every time. Every person I have brought have had great experiences!!! Even though I am tempted to order the same item I had last visit, I keep trying new items. ALL have been large portions, fresh, hot, good looking plates! Last night I had the Philly Cheesesteak sand...came with a huge salad choice, which I chose Greek. The salad had tons of feta, cucumbers, tomatoes, etc. Then the sandwich came out open faced on a sub style roll, crispy fries (great restaurant style not McD's style) and some cole slaw. It was all great! My GF and I had shakes which were great. I had an orange-sickle flavour. Every time was YUMMY and again, huge portions! Staff was quick and nice! Next time I will take pictures and post them. CONS: The atmosphere is hideous! I mean, it's pretty bad. It's not dirty or anything. Actually quite clean. But, it's dark and have these small TV monitors set way up high on the 20 foot ceilings with cords hanging down the wall!!! Lighting is dismal, cause it's a huge space and sure it costs a lot to light, so they almost always have very few light on. Let me say though...these don't matter, cause the food is that good! SUGGESTIONS FOR OWNER (If your reading this): You need to get the largest sign you can afford on the front. That small sign gets lost and nobody will see you, as they are driving by. FACT: A great restaurant was in there before you and they went out of business. So, you need to understand that! Those little lights saying your "open" will not be enough for cars passing by. Even the shopping center is layed out so that it's hard to get in and drive around there. So, you need to junk the ones you have and get a new one, NOW!!!!! People need to know how great you are! Then you need to get out and promote more! Get commercials on TV station WHAG. It's really not as expensive as you think! Get a person in a Hot Dog suit waving people inside! July 4th is coming up quickly! Plan something special to let people know! Kids eat free or something!!! Lastly, just make the place brighter and more inviting. Make it more like a country diner. Get some props and painting or something quaint and nice Your food is FANTASTIC!!!! Your pricing are amazing for the portion size! BTW, Even though it sounds like it, I don't have any ties to this place. It's just a great review! Lots of exclamation marks!!!!!!!!

I have been here four times, each time for breakfast. The wait staff are all very friendly, some are very new and inexperienced, but overall good service. I've seen a few servers get very overwhelmed and not come back to tables very often and forget things. I've heard servers making comments about poor kitchen staff, so I truly believe that the little slip-ups are because of the crew in the back. The food is inconsistent, I've had soggy toast, undercooked bacon, varying flavors with the home fries, then other times the flavors are better and meat is cooked perfectly. I will not order breakfast from here again, however I did try the breakfast buffet on my third visit and thought it was very good. My last visit I tried to get the buffet but I just missed it. The buffet food is much better then what you get when you order (which is usually not the case with buffets). Overall the menu is large, however for breakfast, they do not offer many combos, it's either eggs and meat or French toast alone, pancakes alone, etc. The food is mediocre for a diner but prices are fair and the atmosphere is ok. The restaurant has plenty of seating so it's nice to visit on weekends when other places have a long wait. I have not tried lunch or dinner here so I cannot comment on that one.

I have experienced better diner food, but am willing to give it another try. The service was good, but the restaurant itself was dusty and didn't seem clean. My BLT was pretty good. The thick white toast was nice as was the bacon and lettuce, unfortunately it just isn't a good time of year for tomatoes. Glaringly absent from the sandwich though as any sort of mayonnaise.

Our first visit was excellent! The food was hot, tasted incredible, and was enough to bring home for another meal. Definitely worth the money (which was not expensive) and a drive. A cup of soup with almost every meal!!!

The food was very good, reasonably priced with large portions. Service was good. Atmosphere definitely needs some work although it was quiet enough to be able to carry on a conversation without having to speak loudly. We will be going back.

Great service and giant menu. Came for a light dinner. Meal came with soup and fries. Fries were good and the Manhattan Clam soup was very good. Husband had the French Dip which he said was ok. I ordered the chicken Parmesan panini but got a hot chicken parmesean sub. Not sure if I accidentally ordered the wrong item or if the waitress or kitchen goofed. It was screaming hot but it was basically a couple chicken fingers on a very good roll. That's about it. Just ok. Might be what we ordered. We will try again and maybe breakfast. The restaurant needs a facelift.

I really enjoyed my dinner here tonight! Try the Greek Salad! You won't be disappointed! Fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion and green peppers with lots of Feta! Delicious! Also, I had the turkey, stuffing and mashed potatoes. Tons of food for a very reasonable price. And, Courtney couldn't have been a more gracious and helpful server!

Great lunch specials. Sandwiches come with soup, fries, pickle, and coleslaw. The soups are all homemade, and taste great. I've been here a few times for lunch, and I've never been disappointed. Service is good, parking is easy.
