The wait staff was not attentive at all with 2 servers working on only 3 tables at 6:00 on a weekday. Water and soda were not refilled without waving to the server. Took over 45 minutes to get the food after ordering. The irony is that a member of our party was going to order the fried chicken. We were told it takes 20 minutes to prep and fry it fresh. Theoretically all of our non fried dishes should have been out within 15-20 minutes then, wouldn't you think? We were surely glad he didn't opt for the chicken then it probably would have taken over an hour to get our food. As far as the food goes, the salmon cakes were good. As were the greens and sweet potatoes. The fish dishes were good as well. Mac and cheese, meh. The ribs...well, very dry yet edible. Not "falling off the bone" as the advertised by the server. The menu is limited and a bit overpriced for Hagerstown. I didn't recall seeing much of anything geared towards children.. With so many choices in town I wouldn't come here again unless I get another gift certificate.

If you guys like the Georgia boy cafe you will love this place.. Same owners in a bigger better location and the food is still amazing

Grilled buffalo wings are cooked on the spot and tasty. The best wings thus far! Chicken and waffles are the best! Margaritas are huge and strong.

Food and service was excellent!!!! We will be back! I got the fried chicken salad. Hubby got fried pork chops, Mac and cheese! Very good!!!!!!

We noticed the new sign about two weeks ago and stopped in for a late dinner on a whim. It was a Tuesday evening. The atmosphere was cozy and clean. The service was friendly. The food was delicious and very fairly-priced. We both ordered the pork chops, served over rice. We substituted the macaroni and cheese with mashed sweet potatoes, and chose collard greens for the second side dish. There was a bit of a wait for the food - but worth every minute! It was served piping hot - all of it. The pork chops were large, seasoned and cooked to perfection. The greens were very, very good (a tad bit too salty -but still delicious) the sweet potatoes were quite good too. The food was truly better than restaurant quality - it was home-cooked perfection without having to do the cooking! We loved it and will not hesitate to return,
