I now love this place! Happy hour is awesome! Food is much better and so is the service!! Two times in one week is really saying something for me! Good job guys!

This is by far the worst overall restaurant I've ever gone to since moving here to Maryland just over 7 years ago. For starters there was a horrible moldy stench throughout the entire restaurant. Initially I tried to discount it and blow it off but the smell became overwhelming. The food was unequivocally disgusting... I ordered Chicken Alfredo and was brought Alfredo sauce with two microscopic pieces of microwaved chicken. When I questioned the waitress about the bizarre portions I was instantly given an attitude... There were also several off duty employees drinking and making some obnoxious remarks about people; extremely rude and disruptive to the actual patrons who were paying which apparently did not bother the on duty manager because he was serving them... So like any other dissatisfied customer I voiced my displeasure to both the restaurant manager as well as the useless customer care people on August 5th 2015 and it simply fell on deaf ears. I'm still patiently waiting for some sort of acknowledgement.. about my ratchet experience. So between the ungodly like smell of this place, the deplorable tasting food, the rude a$$ atmosphere and the fraudulent customer care department this place would not be worth going to if everything was complimentary. They should consider retraining or replacing the entire staff here!

Food is ok. Just like any ruby Tuesday. The customer service was pretty good. I live pretty close to this restaurant but won't be going back because the food isn't worth it. If you want a cheap date you are better off ordering from Kennys sub shop from across.

Worst place ever. The service was mediocre, the food was incredibly basic, and did I mention that the service was mediocre? I just feel like there was no effort whatsoever to make the experience worthwhile. Just.....do better.

The only reason that I gave this place 1 star is because I couldn't give it 0. I called in a order and the man that answered seemingly had an attitude. He was very impatient, and when asked what sides they had to offer, he replied "Don't you have a menu???" He then attempted to rush me to finish ordering because "the game (was) on" and "there (were) a lot of people their. That was false and the food sucked never again!!!

Service is horrible and it wasn't busy. Waited 10 minutes to see seated. Then waited 10 before any one comes over to take our drink order. Once she comes and get our order takes her 15 to bring drinks to our table. Food was okay and the salad bar was mediocre. Will not be back.

I decided to go back and try again because I got a free burger (upto $9) and I decided to try the triple prime burger with cheddar cheese and it looked and tasted not different then the regular burger. It wasn't busy when we were eating around 5:30pm July 9, 2015 and service was so slow the waitress walked by several times and it too almost 20 min's for a drink refill, wont be going back again.

Worst service ever! I'm currently sitting at the bar waiting for someone to acknowledge I'm sitting here. Two bartenders behind the bar and both of them are more focused on cleaning up than serving the folks sitting in the seats. I've been in the service industry. My managers always told me to serve the customer first. I'm just saying. I won't be back after today.

This place is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get. Might get ok service or really bad. Might get stale bread or they might mess up your order. This is one of those places I end up at because a group wants to eat hear. Don't come here if you are pressed for time, unless you are getting the salad bar only. I do love the burgers here and the salad bar.

I use to love Ruby Tuesday ribs so I decided to order the shrimp and Rib platter. I had to send it back the food was too greasy. I visited during lunch time and it wasn't that busy but the service was ok. When I send the order back and reordered the fish tacos I was happy. The manager on site was very pleasant and didn't give me attitude when I explained to her that the food wasn't good.

Since I live and work nearby, I've been going to this Ruby Tuesday for years - and I can't believe I hadn't Yelped it yet! But fortunately for the restaurant's owner and management, I waited through years of mediocre food and service to say... it's gotten so much better! (I know, such glowing praise.) But seriously, Ruby Tuesday has recently revised their menu and the chain seems to be trying to set itself apart from all of the similar American bar/restaurants (Chili's, Friday's, Applebee's - for a long time, I was pretty convinced these were all the same thing). They added the fresh salad bar a long time ago, but have now added a lot of other fresh and interesting things to the menu. Good steaks and tasty burgers actually cooked to order, a lot of healthier vegetable sides, and more interesting non-alcoholic drink options. I've had quite a few good lunch and dinner experiences here in recent months. I love the fruit iced teas (which have tons of fruit bits floating around), and I always get the salad bar option with any entree. I appreciate that the salad bar has shelled edamame on it. Mmmmm. I think the one place they could improve a bit would be service. The waiters are usually friendly enough, but they seem to disappear for a long time when you want to order, ask for something, or take care of the check. Perhaps they're understaffed? Hope they step up the service to match the tasty new foods.

Went to dinner on Friday night. Table was dirty -- clearly had not been wiped. Server took forever to arrive. When we made request to have table cleaned, took long time for the bus person to come by, who then only did a cursory wipe. Requested a better job, but still did not clean well. Drinks took a long time. Food took a long time. Spouse's salmon was warm, overcooked. My pasta was COLD (not even warm). Second plate of pasta was hot, but not very good. Manager never came by. Was charged full price for both meals and drinks. This place failed in about every way a restaurant can fail: cleanliness, quality and timeliness of service, and food preparation.

We came here to check this place out since we have a $10 off coupon. From the Google and Yelp reviews, we expected the service to be pretty bad. However, we might have lucked out (or had set our expectations really low) since we had a wonderful service experience here. The waitress will ask often if we need anything at all. We were seated right away and appetizer was set in front of us right away. The entree came at a reasonable time too. Not too quick that would make you think that the food was just microwaved. And not too slow to starve us. For food, I was just going to rate it as a 3 but the wonderful service made me bump it to a 4.

Went there tonight and was absolutely disappointed. It took 15 min to be sat, then another 15 for the waitress to come by. We sat for awhile and didn't get any drinks until the appetizer came out. The food was good, but skimpy. Half way through eating we ran out of drinks and had to wait AGAIN in order to ask for refills, and had to wait til we were done eating just to receive the refills. Then the waitress disappeared for at least 20 min after handing us the check and we were ready with our payment right then and there! Definitely will not be recommending this Ruby Tuesday location to anyone.

Wasn't that bad... Burger came out raw when I order it we'll done... Little strange. But I was sitting on a high top near kitchen door for 45 minutes and listen to TWO angry customers dealing with manager. 2 glasses smash and a rude manager. Over all when the burger came back out, it was good and so was the bartender Cindy

Had dinner on a Friday night. Rib eye steak was good. Family had Cajun shrimp & grits as well as a cheeseburger. Food was good, service quick. I've been going to this location for 20+ years and have always felt that this restaurant needs a good steam cleaning inside and out. It's a little grungy.

Never coming back to this place. Consistently slow service. Wait to get seated, wait to get a waiter/waitress and then wait to get your food. On top of all that you have to beg for ketchup. Its not on the tables and they never ask if you want ketchup even though I ordered a burger and fries. Food is over priced for what you get. Salad bar has few items then it used to and the plates are now smaller. I'd love to see this place go under. It deserves it.

Had lunch here today in between meetings. A group of five of us were seated quickly. Our server approached immediately and took our drink order, returned with our drinks, and then took our order. I ordered the Chicken Pot Pie with a salad bar, and a Diet Coke. The food took about 12 minutes or so to come out. I was a bit surprised at the Pot Pie - it was not what I was expecting - instead of the traditional crock or bowl - it was served as a flat piece of flaky puff pastry with the corners turned up and a blob of pot pie filling ladled into the center. The pot pie also came with a side of steamed broccoli. I love a good pot pie - but this one did not wow me. It was just average. The steamed broccoli was cooked almost perfectly, still bright green - but not overcooked or mushy. The salad bar was your generic RT salad bar - nothing fancy or exotic in terms of offerings. Our server was very efficient in refilling our beverages - service was good. The men's restroom was in need of some additional cleaning and sterilization - the floor was sticky and gross and smelled pretty bad.

I love Ruby Tuesday. LOVE. LOVE. LOVE. And if you havent been in awhile GO. They've totally revamp'd their menu, and kept the same price point. They also have cheddar biscuits now. (WHAT?! its enough to drive a celiac bananas!) The fries are yummy, the sliders are larger than they used to be so you get two mediums instead of 3 smalls, (three smalls was too much damn bread). And you get the salad bar! (*fyi if you get the salad bar its only $1 more to get the sliders and a side) New sides: Grilled asparagus Steamed broccoli Mashed cauliflower (which is overly garlicy and disgusting) Service still sucks (17 minutes to get a check, we shouldve walked out) but the dining room is beautiful, clean, and the lighting is fantastic. I'll be back.

I had to change my opinion on this place after a horrible visit & customer service. I would give this place zero stars if i could. Now before this particular visit this was one of my favorites in the Greenbelt area. I went here one night with my family & it was the most horrific experience i had ever had at a restaurant. The service was just plain wack on all levels! We got there at 9pm & i checked in on Yelp. After waiting & waiting, 945pm is when we finally received our drinks & appetizers. 10:20pm we asked about our food & they said it had just been placed. The server had lied & said we had just gotten there about 15mins prior.. I then showed the manager my check in on Yelp & the dumb founded look came over her face. We ended up walking out & saying the hell with the food. And i promise to never return to a Ruby Tuesday after this experience. After speaking with the manager, she tried to tell us we cant just order food and decide we dont want it. I said the hell with that, we didnt come to a place & expect to be here 2hrs waiting to eat either. Long story short we ended up going to Burger King next door instead..

I'm not sure what these people are complaining about. My wife & I have been going here, often late at night after the planetarium shows at the Owens are over, for months. They're able to adjust to my dietary needs, they're good about refilling our coffee cups, & we've tried them at other times of the day-the brunch is pretty good, too.

My friends and I go to RT for samplers all the time. The service is quick and friendly however they don't seem keen on waiting on Deaf people. My friend and I went to brunch and our server was like "uh huh uh huh uh huh" and took our menus when were not finish ordering yet. Another negative is that they don't check ID with Credit Cards. My mother card was stolen and was used at this Ruby Tuesday; the manager was not accommodating as of course he did not want to get in trouble for processing stolen information.

ruby tuesday made me sleep with my ex. true story. i could go into how monumental the fact that i was even in the same space as the X was b/c of the horribleness (yes, horribleness) that was our break-up several years ago, but i won't. i'll just say that the break-up was UGLY, the make up has been slow (read: YEARS), and now it's looking like we might even be friends one day. (i know...slippery slope. we'll see.) but for now, the X was just helping me with a large purchase (read: getting me a hook-up through a friend of a friend and offering his muscles for moving of the hook-up-purchased item). after the transaction was complete, we were both starving and decided to grab something to eat and watch some march madness for the afternoon. i refused all the fast food suggestions XBF was throwing out (apparently he doesn't remember my food tastes), and agreed to the very slight step above fast food that is RT. (he didn't win, i LET him pick b/c i was tired and famished.) to my surprise, it wasn't terrible! actually, it was pretty good. we didn't stay at the restaurant, but i was a little bit impressed while waiting on the take out @ the bar. i bartend part-time, so i paid close attention to the bartenders and was glad to see how clean and methodical they were. (sucks that they have to measure EVERY POUR though. that would drive me nuts - i'm a free pourer.) the decor was nice for a RT's, and better than their competitors/what i consider to be in the same class (friday's applebee's, etc). the servers all seemed very nice and attentive. the food came quickly and the bartender read my order back to me to make sure everything was right before he rang it up. points for that. we got to X's house and tore into the food like a scene from national geographic or animal planet. there was squawking and and teeth-gnashing and all of that. BF, er, i mean X, had the chicken parmesan pasta and i had the santa fe salad. even though he offered, i didn't try the pasta b/c it looked very basic/out-of-the box and i was too busy digging into my salad anyway. (i didn't offer him any). he said the pasta was very good, though. my salad was BANGIN'. (this is how you know i love something - i slip into slang/ebonics.) the menu said it was "slow-roasted chicken atop fresh garden greens with pico de gallo, shredded cheddar cheese, sliced avocado, corn, black beans, onions, and fresh cilantro. garnished with wonton strips and served with spicy southwestern ranch." when we orderd i'd asked for no corn or onions, and for extra dressing on the side. they forgot my extra dressing, left the onions in the salad (i picked them out; i hate raw onions) and there were no black beans to be found (i love black beans), but i didn't even care. it was still, BANGIN'. the chicken was tender and nicely spiced, the avocados were perfectly ripe, and all the ingredients complemented eachother very well. i devoured it. X devoured his food too and when i looked up, he was licking the last bit of sauce. we placed our empty cartons on the coffee table and sat back to watch the final moments of the tennessee-mighigan state game with full, happy bellies. the itis kicked in almost immediately and we barely had enough energy to smack-talk about the baylor-duke game that was coming on. a couple of minutes into the game, we both passed out. we woke up almost 2 hours later, still with chicken parm and santa fe salad breath, and only a few minutes left to watch duke pummel baylor. IDK what was sweeter, that i duke beat baylor, that i can honestly say i slept with my X w/o any regrets, or that i could still taste that awesome salad. out of the 3, at least i know i can go back and get the salad again.

Mediocre service, mediocre food. High priced, not worth what you pay for.
