The crab cake sandwich left allot to be desired. I would expect any seafood restaurant on the Chesapeake Bay or surrounding area to have a lump crab meaty crab cake sandwich. What I found was a heavily breaded and seasoned cake at best. Don't waste your money...definitely substandard. Service at the bar was good.

The lump crab meat appetizer with a mustard champagne sauce was DIVINE. My friends had the crab balls which were mainly lump crab meat and very little filler- and they enjoyed them. We ate in the bar area, but there is a nicer restaurant side. The whole thing looks like a mobile unit- so it lacks a little ambience. Other than that, the food is solid...don't know if I'd come back though.

We've eaten here about 4 times and have never had a bad meal. We stopped for lunch on the way back from OC on this trip. We went for the crab and western omelets this time. My wife and I had half of each. The jumbo lump crab omelet was absolutely AWESOME! The western omelet was about as good as I've had. Excellent home fries as well. Great place with great food and service. They also have a great bar with several large TV's. Something for everyone.

Sunday brunch is always amazing! We make a special trip at least once a year to eat there. Service is also excellent. Love the piano player and omelet maker who have both been there for years! The whole party enjoyed their meal!

I came here for a work event, so I can't really give a full review of the service. Most servers seem to be working our party and I'm sure they timed everything according to our program. I went with the crabcakes. It was an obvious choice since we were on the Eastern Shore. The salad was a nice mixture of greens and the dressing wasn't too bad either. The crab cakes were delicious, but I was still a little hungry after I had finished them. But I guess, they weren't advertised as "JUMBO" crab cakes so I can't really complain. The chocolate mousse at the end was bland and tasted more like cardboard. The location was nice, right on the water, but I wouldn't drive over the bridge just to come back.

The best cream of crab soup in Maryland, maybe anywhere. It has lump backfin meat and plenty of sherry, and they even bring out extra sherry if you want to top it off with some more. The menu is surprisingly big for an Eastern Shore waterfront restaurant like this, but the real standouts are the seafood entrees. I haven't had the Mediterranean dishes on the back page, but the rest of the menu is pretty unremarkable. It has a nice view of the Kent Narrows, unless you sit at the bar like I usually do. Then you have wall to wall High Def TV screens showing sports and Keno and good beer on tap (Dogfishhead, yuengling, various Sam Adams seasonals, Widmer, etc) They are consistently understaffed, so you will wait a while and rarely see your server. So don't plan on popping in and popping out, especially around the Holidays when the dining room is decorated. This is a fairly typical example of a local shore restaurant, before so many were replaced by Red Lobsters (one star). Prices are pretty reasonable.

Annie's Paramount Steak & Seafood House is a nice restaurant located off of a marina in Grasonville, Maryland. Annie's offers a good view and lots of items on the menu. It is not really a pizza place, but, since they have a crab pizza on the menu as an appetizer, I felt obliged to try a Maryland-themed pizza. This pizza consists of white sauce, oven roasted tomatoes, spinach, jumbo lump crabmeat, and spices. I was pretty pleased with it as the white sauce, cheese, and crabmeat all went well together, and the white sauce was very key as I don't think it would have worked near as well with marinara. Annie's crab pizza was definitely appetizer-sized though, so I wouldn't recommend trying to count on it as your entire meal. As I mentioned, this is not a pizza place as this was the only pizza on their menu, but they do have a very large variety of other food to choose from for your meal. Overall, Annie's Paramount Steak & Seafood House offers a nice dining atmosphere with a view and a lot of great food.

Alaskan King Crab legs were out of this world! Service was off the mark. They were pretty busy so it took awhile to take our order. I ordered a martini and then the waitress seemingly forgot we ordered a bottle of wine until she delivered our entrees. Water glass was never refilled nor were additional dinner rolls offered after they deliver one to your plate upon sitting down. But even with all that, did I tell you how good the King Crab legs were!? Would definitely go back despite the service. Almost forgot....very nice live piano music!

My favorite restaurant of all time! Their cream of crab soup is definitely one of the best I ever had. Also their prime rib is by far the best prime rib in the state of Maryland. I like how they give you a little side of horseradish to go with it. A must to get with your steaks is a side of mushrooms. They are fabulous and seasoned perfectly. I also like their pasta dishes, it is alot of food no matter what you get so either go hungry or be prepared for a to go box. I have never had their desserts but they look great, just too full at the end of the meal to try them. I usually go with a couple of people anywhere between 4 and 6 and we get a couple of appetizers to share, soup and our meals. Add on a couple of drinks, and very rarely do we ever go over 200 bucks. Which to me means their prices are very reasonable. I like how they have a casual and a fancier section of the restaurant so you never feel out if place. Great view and parking is not bad. Service is pretty decent, sometimes I feel like their might be a little wait but if your with good company then you don't even notice.

My family and I walked into Annie's on a very hot and humid evening. We sat down outside, the temperature was reasonably air conditioned. Then we ordered our drinks. Not long after, a bachelorette party sat down right next to us with irritating stray pieces of fuzz from their pink boas flying around the room. The service was not great and after gulping down my first Coke I was ready for a refill. When the waitress asked me "Would you like to order another drink," I knew from past experiences that meant no free refills. Another refill would be a whole $2.50 more. Unfortunately, I would be finishing my meal on only water. The food took at least 45 minutes to come out. I ordered the Fettuchini Alfredo which was too cheesy and heavy even though I asked for light sauce. Although, my cousin ordered a chicken dish that she enjoyed. To sum the meal up, I give one star to the ambiance and the other for the semi-reasonable prices. I will be returning.

Go for the atmosphere, and the good time. Don't plan on getting "the best" seafood the eastern shore had to offer. The cream of crab soup was mediocre at best for a eastern shore restaurant, more filler then I prefer, and to rich with cream. I got the crab cake and 10oz steak dinner thing, steak was good, crab cake followed the same path as the soup, more bread crumb filler then crab meat. In comparison to the other slew of places this seemed the most laid back and less crowded with brawling shore-billies.

We normally sit in the sports oriented bar section - the service is always top notch, and I admit I am addicted to their coffee - some of the best I've ever had. I highly recommend their cream of crab soup. I've not tried their steaks, my husband has and likes them - but he says it's not Ruth's Chris quality - but not much is.

we have always liked this place but i was blown away when the waitress told me i would be charged for a refill on my soda. its bad enough that you have to buy side dishes to go along with your way overpriced steak but now you have to pay for more drink too. the place would be ok if it didnt feel like they were trying to rip me off at every turn. i got the crabcake the last time and it was mush like it had been frozen totally disappointing.

Bad food, very slow service. don't waste your time. Go to the grocery store and get PB&J or keep driving until you find something better. If you want bad bar food and a beer, this might be fine.

Went here for lunch with my mom today. I've been here a few times years ago on the way to and from Ocean City. The restaurant is cute, and if you are in the sunroom on the front you can overlook the water and the boats that are docked there. They also have a main dining room that has a bar area. They have candles on the tables and linen table clothes...seems like it'd be kind of fine dining, without being stuffy and you don't have to dress up. The waitress was so so nice. I had a Shrimp Salad sandwich and my mother had the Crabcake sandwich, we split ours in half so the other could try. Both were good, but the Shrimp Salad was my favorite out of both of them. The bathrooms were clean (YES!) - and I only noted them because they smelled fantastic (who knew a public restaurant could actually smell GREAT). They have a huge menu with lots to choose from - Seafood, Steak, Italian dishes, Burgers, Subs, Sandwiches, and brunch on sundays, anything you can think of, there is something for everyone. Seems like some things could be kind of pricey, but if you want something other then a beach bar in the area with good food and a relaxed, low-key atmosphere, this is the place to go.

We stopped here late on a Sunday night and ate on the fine dining side. The service was excellent, though admittedly there weren't many people there. The waitress brought the kids' meals out within a few minutes. I tried a bite of the chicken fingers and French fries, and they were pretty good - not the usual nasty tasting junk that most restaurants serve children. The chicken fingers were actually chicken, not bread and chicken parts. I didn't try my other daughter's shrimp, but they were pretty big and she enjoyed them. They weren't the little popcorn shrimp dripping in grease that most places give kids. I had the sea bass and it was excellent. It's the best that I've had since Nobu in San Diego. (Admittedly, the San Diego Nobu is in a whole different league.) It was a little heavy on the butter, but good. It was served over spinich which I usually like, but I did not care for it. The mashed potatoes were very good. My husband said that the steak wasn't that great (he said it smelled like wet dog), but his crab cake was good. I didn't try his meal. The wine was good, and the service was great. We would go back again, though I think my husband would avoid the steak in the future.

This restaurant was highly recommended by coworkers and hotel staff in the area. The food was awesome and the service was good. I had a 9 oz sirloin with baked potato and a salad and we had wings as an appetizer. My coworker had a steak and tuna tataki, which he said were very good also. My only complaint was that the place needs a major facelift. It's not a restaurant where I would really go on a regular basis because to be honest the ambience is kind've stuffy and very dated.

We have had the same younger male server the past few times and he is a GEM. So friendly and attentive. They've added some new menu items, but I haven't gotten past the new portobello burger and the "bacon avocado lettuce and tomato" (BALT) burger. So delicious. This place is once again my #1 pick for a night out on Kent Island.

We were suppose to go to the bar across the street but it was closed on mondays. This restaurant is half sports bar half formal dining room. Opted for the dining room. The cream of crab soup was incredible! My mahi wrap was pretty good. My friends steak was tough. The service was extremely slow tho! Took an hour to get two sandwiches and a steak. This review is basically written for the incredible cream of crab soup!

The ambiance is definitely old school fine dining, as is the menu. The food was quite good considering the extent of said menu. My flatbread pizza was delicious despite an ingredient being omitted. Our experience was ruined, however, by the aggressive interference of a server who wasn't even assigned to our table. Diane saw our son pass me my glass of wine that my husband had refilled from the bottle we had purchased. Instead of politely telling us he should not even touch the glass she literally got in the boy's face and raised her voice to all of us. It upset our daughter so much she couldn't finish her dinner. If we lived in this area not only would we not return, we would discourage anyone who would listen from patronizing this establishment.

By far the finest steakhouse on KI. Whether it's their MNF Buffett, their fantastic Mother's Day Brunch Buffett, an outstanding lunch or a relaxing dinner over looking the Kent Narrows waterway for an awesome romantic ambiance with the live piano in the background. We always enjoy the great service and excellent food. We have been long time patrons since 1996. We would drive from Baltimore on a weekly basis to dine at this great steakhouse. We since have moved to KI and Annie's is our spot for our romantic evenings to enjoy each other and to break the daily grind of our busy lives. Mr. Mike (owner) always greets us and makes us feel like family as if we are at his home breaking bread with his family. EXCELLENT menu that is sure to have something for everyone in your party. Annie's is a high quality main stay on Kent Island. It doesn't matter what we get it's always amazing. My wife love's the Prime Rib. We both love their cream of crab and I love their Porterhouse Steak. We also love how easy it is to park in their large waterfront parking lot.

Bad idea for Mother's Day Slow service but even worse, food cold, tasteless and dry...certainly a waste of money and time. The menu is too big for food to be fresh...yuck. Place is run down and smelly as if it got stuck in the 70's..

Annie's is our favorite restaurant on Kent Island. Don't miss their amazing cream of crab soup. It is absolutely the best I've ever had. They have a varied menu, so everyone can find something. The waitstaff is attentive. We love the view from the dining room of the water and marina. We had a steak that was a big disappointment one time, and they gave us a $25 gift card. But we've eaten there quite a few times, so that hasn't discouraged us from returning. They're a little pricey, but worth it.

Not the cheapest on the island but a good sports bar. Food and service consistently good although I usually do the bar or brunch on Sunday's. Bar is set up like a sports bar and the dining area for Kent Island is formal I guess.

My wife got violently ill from the salad she had (only thing different for the 2 of us) on Saturday 4/11/2015. Still sick 2 days later after projectile vomiting and diarrhea. Has been dizzy just trying to get out of bed. Contacted owners and still waiting for response. Will amend review based on what they do.

I was here Saturday and wasn't impressed by the food. My husband and I got the crab soup and mozzarella sticks as an appetizer and the $30+ steak and crab cake as out entree. My mozzarella sticks were awesome but hubby thought the crab soup was wayyy to rich. Out entrees were awful!!!! The steaks were burnt on the outside and, although, they were medium well they were dry. They weren't seasoned and I had to ask for A1 sauce!!! The crab cake was good but I expected it and the steak to be bigger especially for $30. We usually go to Blue Dolphin( Crofton, MD) or Harris (across the ways from Annie's) but we were enjoying a bday party this time. And trust me I can order the same thing at blue dolphin and have enough to take home leftovers. We tried it and DEFINITELY will not be back!

Annie's was a birthday disaster! My party of 10 was seated right away which was great for a slow Sunday afternoon. However, my meal was less than desired. Food was priced too high for the quality. The stuffed shrimp was meh! Mediocre...the steak was tough and lacked seasoning and flavor. My food came out cold (deep sigh) and then it all went down hill from there. The manager on duty was so rude, she snapped at our server, slammed plates down and abruptly snatched plates from our table. I will NEVER go back. It was a terrible experience. Since I have to pick a star rating I would only give 1/2 a star...Annie's was just that bad.

The deck was spectacular overlooking the setting sun and the marina. The staff friendly and Very helpful and helpful. And the burger perfectly cooked one of the best I have had in a while. Definitely a place I would recommend for a water side meal.

One word, Disappointed with a capital D. Yep. I figured it was on the water, so the seafood has to be good right? Wrong. The place looks old and outdated. The carpet is really dirty. Now the food. First we started with bacon wrapped scallops and they were fine. We both ordered a stuffed fish dish for entree. Bad decision. The crab stuffing was dry and lacked flavor. The fish was undercooked. Alcoholic beverage was sweet but lacked the alcohol! My company was great and we enjoyed the breeze from the water, so we made the best of it. I chalked it up to an experience. We live and learn. I expected so much better for the high price they charge.

Slow service, servers (Bartenders) were to worried about cleaning up and wanting to go home besides worring about the customer, Arrived at 830 pm on the sports/Bar side )was told immediately kitchen was only doing to go orders because they were closing soon.

I went here today (9/21) for brunch and let me say it was a roller coaster of an experience. First, my wife made a reservation over a week ago and when we arrive we are told they can't find it. The hostess (a young lady in a black top) decides to whisper to a hostess/manager (a woman in a pink shirt) "they said they made a reservation but I don't see it so I think they should wait and it's about 45 minutes." The sad part is she's trying to whisper right in front of me! The manager disagrees and gets us seated in less than 2 minutes. 5 stars for that manager, 0 for that hostess. Now on to the food. We are seated and our waiter Mason greets us immediately and talks the place up. I give 5 stars to Mason because he was cordial, professional and made sure we were taken care of during our visit. He even gave our son balloons to take home. Now really on to the food. The brunch menu features a lot of variety. Biscuits, toast, sausage, bacon, french toast, waffles, ham, roast beef, omelets made to order, fried chicken, fried catfish, eggs Benedict, and a dessert bar. The food was really good. My wife said the steamed shrimp was a little over cooked though. The breakfast items were good, even if I did have to wait 30 minutes for bacon! All in all it's a good place to go to.

Annie's Cream of Crab soup is my all-time favorite. Annie's has both a dining room and a casual bar area. Best dinner we've ever had here. Steak was tender and cooked to perfection. Appetizer Ahi was stunning! Service was spectacular. Thank you, Meghan!

What a disappointing night. We came for my husband's birthday dinner as we have for at least 5 years and won't be back again. We arrived on time for our 6:30 reservation and waited 10 minutes for our table. We were seated and discovered that even though we had made an early reservation, they were out of the lobster special. I've never seen a "fine dining" establishment run out of the special so early in the night. Especially considering they were offering the same special other days that week. We were seated at a table next to a window that overlooked the waterfront dining area. My chair wobbled and every time a server or diner passed, the floor moved, which jiggled the table and our chairs. Our water glasses had ripples and waves like in Jurassic Park! I felt seasick by the end of the night. My salad arrived with no dressing. The server said she'd go get it, then cleared plates at another table, took orders from yet another table, and then stood at the computer punching orders in. Then she went to the bar and waited for a drink order. It took over 10 minutes to get my dressing. At one point during our evening, my husband waited 20 minutes for a soda refill. He had to ask repeatedly for it. My husband ordered the prime rib and asked for it to be seasoned and seared. He has had this every year at Annie's for his birthday for the last several years with no issues. When he requested this, the server nodded. When it was delivered by another server, it was not seasoned or seared. When we finally caught our server passing (she was hard to catch all night) she said that it was... on the outside, like they're normally prepared. She clearly hadn't understood. She shrugged and walked away without any attempt to fix it. My chicken picata was OK, nothing amazing for the price. I ordered dessert (dumb at this point, I know) and got a very heavy creme brulee. It was flavorless and dense. When my mother-in-law spoke to the manager about all the issues we had, she got a very insincere "sorry" and a brush-off. We won't be coming back. The only reason to give this any stars at all is because the Christmas decorations were very nice.

I didn't realize how much I loved steak until I ate here. The quality of meat is worth the price, hands down! The coffee was delicious as well, caught me off guard how good it was. Will definitely be back as soon as possible!

I would say 75% of the things I have ordered here have been absolutely delicious. I have been here many times and I think that's a great track record. The burgers are delicious and though I haven't tried it my boyfriend raves about the cream of crab soup (says best he's ever had). All in all a fun casual place to sit in the bar are and grab a bite on a Saturday night. Also the brunch buffet is amazing for special occasions!

This place is great. Huge menu and everything on it seems like a winner, from the few things I've had, to the ones I have seen go by. As others have said, on one side is a great sports bar (that is fine to eat at) and on the other side is a formal dining area. Both share the same menu so you can choose where you want to eat. It really does seem like the attention to detail on your food is top priority. I intend to come back here another time for steaks, oysters and other seafood, but I was first sent here for the burgers and I've now had them 3 times. If you are driving past the Kent narrows and want the best burger around stop here. Fantastic beef, great roll, good sides and lots of options to order it how you like it. I also noticed that they seem to have an oyster menu with 7 or so different varieties, which is a nice plus if you want to compare a Chincoteage, to a Blue Point, to a Bay, to a... Last time I was there I got the Onion Soup, which was very good, and a side of asparagus, which were very soggy. Good beer on draft, great burgers, and a menu that you want to come back and tear through over time. Check it out!

This is my favorite restaurant in Maryland. We love it at Christmas. It is beautifully decorated and on the water with beautiful Christmas trees glistening. Really gorgeous. We just had a Rehearsal Dinner here for my son's wedding for 40 people and EVERYONE raved about the food. Every dish was excellent from Prime Rib to Stuffed Shrimp to Chicken Marsala and they especially loved the Baked Haddock. The girls who worked our party did an amaIng job. The service was really great and we love Helen (owner) who helped us plan this memorable event. It was way beyond what we expected. My husband and I are dying to get back there for Sunday Brunch. Every time I am anywhere near Annie's I stop in for lunch because I just can't resist the delicious food and love visiting with the amazing people who work here. This is truly my favorite restaurant in Maryland. Can't wait to see the new location when it is built. Sounds like it will be really beautiful!

If I ever have kids and want to teach them what dining out in the 70's was like, I may bring them here. Open the door and it smelled like the Stardust Casino - gross and not appetizing. Guessing carpet hasn't been cleaned since Carter was president. Why would a restaurant have carpet anyhow? This was our second meal of disappointment here - I try never to give a bad review to a restaurant unless I've tried them twice (nearly everyone has an off day) - unless first time is just so bad we're never coming back. Fooled us twice here, shame on us. Larger portion Sirloin tips were upsold by a 110 lb, 60 year old and inattentive waitress (we had to ask another waiter for assistance - twice) who claimed she could wolf down the bigger portion. Horse-feathers. I shouldn't have doubled down. Over-Thymed. and while relatively tender, far from delicious. Previous meal was pasta (yes, my fault for ordering other than steak at a steak restaurant) - but hey, I wasn't in the mood for steak (though she was) - and so I wanted something different. Was so grossly over seasoned, was nearly inedible. On top of that, we chose the porch to enjoy that day's great temperatures/outside air. Big mistake - the cymbal crazed and additionally ammature band was so loud from the bar next door, conversation was completely interrupted. Potato was big with some cheese and bacon bits (for $5) Neither butter nor sour cream were brought. I don't know about you, but a potato is usually a pretty dry veg without something to loosen it up. Cream Spinach was passable - though we added salt, and there was zero garlic in it (which I enjoy tasting in most steak houses' interpretation of the dish). Lastly, Prices are outrageous on the seafood. Though I was Really curious how a Prime Kobe NY Strip 12 oz - could be Only $47, should be $150+ I doubt this steak is prime, as it says on the menu. or there would be no reason to marinade the sirloin tips. Kicking myself for not going to get crab on the other pier.

Outstanding food got a crab cake and 9oz. sirloin, best crab cake I've ever had in my life, the meat was tender and obviously real crab, steak was cooked to perfection. My wife ordered shrimp scampi and used words like delectable and scrumptious to describe her meal. Prices are high, but worth every penny if you ask me. Bread that came before the meal was a little on the tough side, we took some home and warmed it up and it softened up nicely. In fairness the service was slow but we weren't in a hurry and were enjoying our day so this did not effect our meal.

This review has 2 parts. One part is the food, which I found to be exceedingly average and greatly overpriced. The Cream of Crab soup was so rich I could not eat it - a first for me. It was bland and needed the sherry brought to the table in a vinegar pitcher. It also needed salt, pepper and some hint of seasoning. I picked out the pieces of crab, which were okay. I had the Caesar Salad with blackened crab cake. The romaine had brown spots, the dressing was too thick and the crab cake had lots of filler. I ate 1/2. Part two is the women's bathroom. Imagine a gas station with a locked bathroom around the side of the building. Dirty floor, walls, ceilings. Toilet paper stuffed in a hole in the stall door. A burnt ceiling fan wired to a loose acoustic tile. Worn counters, dirty tiles and cracks in the wall and a seat not attached to the toilet. This is the bathroom at Annie's in Chester, MD where the average entree costs $25.00-$35.00. Ugh ugh ugh.

This would be a 10 star if I could!!!! Awesome place!!! My husband and I shared the 22oz Ribeye and the 2lb Whole Lobster. Steak was cooked a perfect med rare and the Lobster melted in your mouth!! Oh, and we cant forget about the award winning Cream of Crab Soup!! We had to try it, and it was WONDERFUL!! We got to know Helen the owner over dinner. If you go here, introduce yourselves to her and tell her Angela "The Trucker" sent ya!! What a down to earth, wonderful lady she is!!! WE WILL BE BACK!!!

Absolutely love this place I always have to get the Cream of Crab it is surely one of the best around. Also they have awesome burgers thick juicy and great combos how they are cooked black and bleu, bold & smokey, ect. It comes with homemade fries and to make them healthier I get a side of there in house made ranch (best ranch ever) to dip the fries in. Also many seafood items I have had have been very good such as fried oysters or the oyster trio. A great place to stop going or coming from the beach or for a stay in the area.

We came here for our 1st wedding anniversary and love coming back. The bar is fun and cool environment and the restaurant is nice and classy on the water type place. We like to play the trivia and they have great happy hour prices and free hot dogs and pasta. My biggest complaint...really my only one? The baked brie pastry appetizer was one of my favorite things ever and they stopped making it! Very sad about that.

Have been coming here for years going down hill.eaten here about 3 times this year. Not as good, services not as good, food not as good. Waiter told us have new chef and he changed some things not for the better. Had one of the best Reuben's around got one and sent it back it was so bad.

This place is amazing! The coolest thing is that it is kind of like two restaurants in one. If you feel like dining in a more upscale, quiet atmosphere, you walk down a hall and make a left, and ta-dahhh, there is the dining room. On some nights there is a person playing the piano, which adds to the classiness of the room. This is also where Sunday buffet brunch happens. Now, if you feel like being around a livelier crowd and watching some sports, you walk in and make a right to their large bar area. There are probably 15 large screen hi def TV's in there. If you are looking for a sport to watch, it is probably on at Annie's. I was looking for extreme hamster racing and was quite pleased that 2 TVs had it on. Kiddingggg. But really, there are plenty of seats and everyone in the bar always seems to be having lots of fun. I love that place. Annie's menu is HUGE. It is the same menu for the dining room and bar area. If I lived in MD I would come to Annie's a few times a week! If you love selection, you are going to have a great time pouring over the menu here. Their cream of crab soup is phenomenal. Superb. Delicious. I day dream of that stuff over here on the west coast. I count down days before my trips to MD because I want to get my bowl of cream of crab soup with that big old lump of fresh crab meat on top, damnit! Ohhh mannn... and there is so much more great stuff on the menu. Their crab dip is orgasmic. The Mussels Chardonnay is fantastical. And I once ordered a fillet mignon here... geez, what a great cut of meat. Heaven dude, seriously. They do a trivia night on Thursday and an all you can eat brunch buffet on Sunday. Their brunch buffet is no joke. Come in your stretchy pants. I love this place. It makes me happy. A fun place with tons of great food choices? Hells yeah!!!

When ever I go to Kent island I go to eat cream of crab soup here at Annies. It's extremely rich and a little over the top ask for the sherry on the side to thin it out. The general rule of thumb here is that it may be a little in the country, but tries to give you more of a city vibe. The food portions are quite big also the prices are not very forgiving. I always order the lobster and always get the soups in quarts to go....it's packed wth everything imaginable that you would need. But it is pricey. Cheers and happy eats.

We live in Harford County and dine here every chance we get! Amazing Cream of Crab soup, steaks (any cut), crab cakes, Reuben sandwiches, burgers, parmigiana di vitello, and more. Everything we order is amazing! It is pricey, but so worth it!

Came here for the Vegetable Crab Soup and It is excellent~ordered Sea Bass and Flounder, sat for 30 minutes and never got the meal. There were 3 other tables and the bar was sort of crowded...Manager came to table and gave us check for soup and said they were too busy in bar....Never have experienced this EVER.

I really liked this place, 4 solid stars. I have been to some of the other seafood restaurants in the area and they don't measure up to this place. It was really good. It had a very nice atmosphere as well. It had a nice family restaurant area that was pretty cool, even though I didn't dine in that area (suitable for sit down meals with family). My dad and I opted for the bar which had really cool plasmas everywhere and a hopping atmosphere. I bet this place gets busy in the Summer time. I really liked everything about it. The prices were a bit high but that's the norm in this area. The food was great. True Maryland Crab cakes here folks. That was our appetizer along with crab dip which was dee-lish. I ordered the Crab Imperial for an entree and my father ordered the veal and we were very satisfied with our overall meal. As for the service, it couldn't have been better. I will be back!!!

Best Cream of Crab soup anywhere. Just ordered a gallon and a half to be shipped to my home in PA for Christmas dinner. That's how good it is!

First let me say, this is the worst dining experience I've had in an extremely long time. I made reservations here for my husband and I for our valentines weekend getaway. Im so upset I didnt go somewhere else. First we ordered cream of crab soup and calamari. The cream of crab soup is far from award winning, living in maryland all my life I have had way better even from a hole in the wall bar to be honest. The calamari was chewy and really greasy, and it was clear that its store bought frozen and just tossed in the fryer. For our dinner I ordered the crab cake and queen cut prime rib, my husband ordered the crab cake with kobe strip. We NEVER received our salads, which considering the rest of my experience I really wish I would have. The crab cake was disgusting, very fishy taste and no other flavor at all. Full of filler and really cheap crab meat. My husband said his strip was decent but it definitely wasnt prime kobe beef. Now my prime rib. I was actually enjoying it and then I saw it... a hair. A long blonde strand of hair (I have burgundy hair so it definitely wasn't mine). I called over the waitress and showed her, she took the hair, came back and took my prime rib, came back and asked if I wanted anything else. Um what??? I'd like a manager, but shes too busy obviously since she didn't rush over here herself. It took 20 minutes to get a drink refill, and it wasnt even a busy night. The green beans were undercooked and the baked potatoes were very overcooked and crispy on the inside. How do you mess that up? When she asked if i wanted dessert I almost lost it completely. When she brought us our bill, they took a whole $18.00 bucks off the bill for my prime rib... someone want to show me where there is an $18.00 prime rib on the menu? I was clearly never going to see that manager and I was so beyond aggravated that I paid and left. I will never return to this establishment. Im am beyond disappointed in my entire experience.

Just OK. Come several times a year but seems to be slipping. Crab cakes not Baltimore style, small hockey pucks...too much filler for the price. Disappointing.

This may be our new favorite place. It's the best crab dip EVER, as well as the best burger. You can't go wrong. We always sit in the bar (sports bar-ish), but the dining room looks nice if you want a more formal (or quiet) dining experience. We got oysters last time - they were great. The only negative thing (hence the 4 out of 5 stars) I can say about this place is that they make you order at least 3 of any type of oyster. We wanted to try three different oysters (three types, 6 oysters total for two of us) and they said they couldn't do that. That was a bummer, but oh well. At least we enjoyed what we did order.

I hosted a party of 10. Don't think I will do that again here. It was 7:30pm on a Saturday night and they were out of most of their seafood specials. I politely asked the server to make a substitution of extra veg. for the carbohydrate that came standard with my dish and she complained. I wound up with the carbs anyway that I didn't eat. They were out of the veg. of the day too it turned out. I was served a total of 6 green beans. Service was slow and it was difficult to get servers attention to get a second glass of wine. I had the Ahi Tuna, it was so, so. Several of my guests spoke highly of the cream of crab soup. Annie's automatically adds a 20% gratuity like most places on a party that large. I really felt the servers thought since their 20% was already locked in, they could ignore my party and attend to smaller parties that had the option of determining thier own gratuity amount.

Wow! Was here for a rehearsal dinner. Split two entrees with my sister. We had the prime rib and crabcakes. Both were out of this world good. The ambiance was fantastic and we were never rushed. The location is fantastic. Cheesecake for dessert capped off a wonderful evening. Was a memorable evening with fantastic food and waitstaff. Two thumbs up. Will likley take my husband here next time we get a sitter!

I won't be coming back. When I go to a restaurant that specializes in Steak, and bills itself as using only prime cuts and charges Washington DC prices, I expect an outstanding steak. What I got was not suitable for my dogs. I ordered the beef tips. They were served swimming in grease and salt. Horrid. I started with the green salad with an italian vinegarette. It was primarily vinegar. My side was the Mashed Potatos with "Garlic Gravy". Even that was not good. I did get the French Onion Soup, and I found that to quite nice (so they got that going for it). My wife ordered the Ravioli. All Pasta is made on site and she was quite happy with it. That said, it is a very nice place. We ate in the dining room. It is well kept and clean with an understated elegance. Where the food is mediocre at best, the service is absolutely top notch. Our waitress was extremely attentive without being hovering. She was anxious to help with our rather unruly 4 year old (it had been a long day). The hostess was also quite nice. Annies, you've got an amazing front staff, but you really need to do something about that kitchen.

(2)Melissa H.

Solid bar and restaurant. Crab balls were great.

(3)Vince P.
Food great, service slow! Seem to be very understaffed and confused. Food was very good though, just have to manage your expectations.
(3)Caroline H.
(5)Gary M.
we have always liked this place but i was blown away when the waitress told me i would be charged for a refill on my soda. its bad enough that you have to buy side dishes to go along with your way overpriced steak but now you have to pay for more drink too. the place would be ok if it didnt feel like they were trying to rip me off at every turn. i got the crabcake the last time and it was mush like it had been frozen totally disappointing.
(2)Robert W.

(4)Mike D.
Great food, nice location. Highlights include the "bull in the pan", the cream of crab soup and their famous Sunday brunch (a must)!!
(4)Megan P.
(4)Caitlin C.
(4)Leeda B.
(3)Karen U.
(3)Gus K.
(5)Kim C.
Bad idea for Mother's Day Slow service but even worse, food cold, tasteless and dry...certainly a waste of money and time. The menu is too big for food to be fresh...yuck. Place is run down and smelly as if it got stuck in the 70's..
(1)BJ L.
(4)James C.
Not the cheapest on the island but a good sports bar. Food and service consistently good although I usually do the bar or brunch on Sunday's. Bar is set up like a sports bar and the dining area for Kent Island is formal I guess.
(4)Gerald S.
(1)Kimberly M.
(1)Jessica W.
(1)Jeff C.
The deck was spectacular overlooking the setting sun and the marina. The staff friendly and Very helpful and helpful. And the burger perfectly cooked one of the best I have had in a while. Definitely a place I would recommend for a water side meal.
(4)LISA H.
(2)Jason D.
Slow service, servers (Bartenders) were to worried about cleaning up and wanting to go home besides worring about the customer, Arrived at 830 pm on the sports/Bar side )was told immediately kitchen was only doing to go orders because they were closing soon.
(1)Vincent L.
(3)Bonnie A.
Annie's Cream of Crab soup is my all-time favorite. Annie's has both a dining room and a casual bar area. Best dinner we've ever had here. Steak was tender and cooked to perfection. Appetizer Ahi was stunning! Service was spectacular. Thank you, Meghan!
(4)Jacky S.
(1)Andrea D.
I didn't realize how much I loved steak until I ate here. The quality of meat is worth the price, hands down! The coffee was delicious as well, caught me off guard how good it was. Will definitely be back as soon as possible!
(5)Amy P.
(4)TJ B.
