After being told crabs were still available I must update this review once again. My only question is why the female "employee" would have told me over the phone that the Seafood Counter and most importantly the CRABS were no longer sold? I was also told the name of the restaurant had changed but they had yet to update their signage. Seems like an identity crisis, let's hope they get it straight, that means keep the crabs!

Went into Seaside last week to order some food. I was told they no longer had the old menu. I ended up getting a cheeseburger sub, which was ok. The fries were very salty. When you go into a seafood place and that serves hot food, I would expect them to sell cooked seafood, not the same kind of food you can get anywhere else. I dont think that was a good move. I was wondering why it didnt seem as busy as it use to be. Its not nearly as busy at all.

This restaurant will be opening up with a new name it will not be serving the old food that was so good. They will be trying to compete with other hotdog places in the area like Ann's and will be selling foot-long hotdogs and milkshakes. This seems like a mistake as their seafood was very very good and I would go there just for their crab fries. Whenever they open back up under their new name I'll prob give them at least one shot but I miss the crab fries.

Very Honest place they will tell you if crabs aren't running good! And will tell you if they aren't Maryland Crabs!!! A little pricey but you get your Money's worth! I have been dealing with them for over 20 years can't really say a bad word bout anything!!! I love it I only live 5 mins. Away from Goodness!!!

I usually enjoy my crabs from Seaside Carryout. This particular time my $90 a dozen jumbo crabs weren't freshly steamed. Its like they were left over from the night prior and simply resteamed. Although very meaty .. they were lukewarm and the legs were semi dried out. We picked the crabs up and came right home to eat them .. so they's shouldn't have cooled down that much . Next time I order I will insist.. request .. demand fresh Steamed Crabs.

Went for the crab cake special flashing on the sign. Big mistake. The worst crab cake that I can remember having, mushy and no lumps. Never stopping there again.

I stopped by here today after work and I was very happy with my decision. This place is nice. It has a good lay out and the food was pretty good. I didn't like the Maryland crab soup, it tasted old. However the New England clam chowder was delicious! They have bad crackers to accompany the soup, so skip those. I also ordered crab legs, they were expensive but SO SO SO delicious. I was actually incredibly shocked by how amazingly good they were. If I had only gotten the crab legs they'd get 5 stars for sure!

Excellent steamed shrimp. Great crab. Prices can be high, at times. But overall a great place for seafood.

I can't speak TOO highly of this place, but I can't speak ill either. Crab prices are reasonable, if they have them (they sell out pretty quickly in the off-season, understandably). Staff isn't super friendly, but they do their job. When I'm in the market for crabs, this is the first place I call.

Fantastic soft shell crab sandwich, helpful and friendly counter service. Great local crabs, and the quart f oysters we picked up to fry were plump and fresh.

Want a quick seafood without seating down? Seaside caters to this. Got my soup to go but not as quick as it should be. Its homemade oyester stew is good enough for a stop.

Love the fried shrimp. It's the best in town, and get the large ones. Fried fish basket is excellent, tasty, and you won't be disappointed. Everything is homemade including the tartar sauce and cole slaw. Our favorite seafood carryout place!!

Got carry out from seaside for the second time in about 4 months. Both times it was terrible. Crabcakes and cream of crab weren't worth getting again so the second time we tried the pit sandwiches. The medium rare pit beef was way over done and the pit turkey had been sitting in beef au ju. My son didn't even enjoy his mac n' cheese. Never again.

I have used Seaside for catering of crab balls and shrimp cocktail twice in the last 4-6 weeks. The food was excellent. their cocktail sauce is great, crab balls delecious and shrimp large and sweet ( not soggy as often they are on platters) the trays looked gorgeous and the service from the ordering to delivery was wonderful. What a great experience
