Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

High Cholesterol at Pizza Hut

Whether large, medium or small, a pizza can boost your cholesterol levels instantly. You shouldn't eat more than one slice of any pizza your order at Pizza Hut. If you're concerned with your high cholesterol, then it is wise to take your friends to Pizza Hut and share pizza among them slice by slice. You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for High Cholesterol

How do u order a pizza at 6:24, they say it's going to be ready at 6:52, you arrive at 6:57 and the pizza is COLD!! Really, don't play me as a fool. When u cook that the pizza? So the manager to night was awful and baste. She argue with me about a cold pizza and when I told her either redo it or give me my money back she continued to argue with me. We come her a lot but this was the worst service ever. The lady behind me the manager didn't even help her after talking to me and walked away from the lady and me. So the manager on duty a lady redid my pizza which was still not hot and once I got it home it wasn't even done and not hot. What are u doing? I sent my husband back up there because I can see me going to jail for her. She is rude and nasty and she doesn't need to work there anymore. I believe me and this Pizza Hut on crystal rock are over .. I will NOT be ordering anymore from u.. Get it together and have some good customer service. I WANT MY MONEY BACK. Two pizza and nothing good.

Terrible food. Ordered online, went to pick it up and even though it was 15 minutes AFTER they said my food would be ready I STILL had to wait for my wings. The pizza was SOAKED in grease, to the point that the bottom crust was disintegrating. The wings also had a pool of grease under them. Ate a little less than half of the pizza and 4 of my wings (which tasted awful) and threw everything back up 30 minutes later. Over 12 hours later, and i still feel nauseous. Never, ever, EVER, going back. Seriously, do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else.

Well what can I say worst experience at a Pizza Hut ever!!! Slow, rude and disrespectful... And that's the manager I was dealing with. If you are going to quote 30min the pizza should be ready within 45min. Think I'll go somewhere else next time :(

Good Pizza! Bad service! If you can order from a different location or pick up also Volcelli, Domino's and Papa John's are all better options. My encounter went as follows: I ordered from this location, when it was delivered the driver did not have changed so I had to give him more of a tip then I originally intended and finally got the pizza in to eat and they were wrong. I called back the person who answered the phone argued with me for about 20 minutes about my order. I finally spoke to the manager he offered no apology just kept asking if I ate the pizza because he can replace it but needs the old one back. I was completely offended "No, I didn't eat the pizza it's not what I ordered and not what I want this isn't a scam, my order was wrong correct it" Then it took another 45 minutes for my replacement pizza to be delivered. Needless to say I will be ordering from Papa John's from now on!

They were red inside, I wanted to throw up my friend ate them and I was like oh my goodness they look not done so I called and they say oh you have to say well done never again!!!!

I guess this should be a zero star review. Honestly, I ordered from this pizza hut about 3 times a month before my recent encounter. All of the other times were touch and go, they messed up one order and twice they took over an hour to deliver but I continued to order from there because I love me some pizza hut. Anyway, I called to see if they'd make me the stuffed pizza rollers without pepperoni. I had done a take-out order a couple of weeks earlier where they did it, so I asked if they'd do it again. This time though the girl said no and so I asked her if she could ask someone else because they had done it before. She came back and told me she had asked her manager and wanted to know if I was my RELIGION that prevented me from eating pepperoni. I told her no and that it was preference and she said they couldn't make it then. I asked if she was serious and if I could talk to a manager. I was really surprised when the manager got on and asked me again if it was against my religion! I told her it wasn't but asked if I told her it was, would they make them and she said yes. So I said yeah, I guess pepperoni is the devil. Fast forward 40 minutes later and the delivery guy (who seriously couldn't have been nicer..) shows up. I asked him if he'd wait while I checked the rollers and he did, I checked and sure enough there was pepperoni in them! I called the Pizza Hut back and they asked if I just wanted a credit or if I wanted them remade. I opted to have them remade being as I never plan on going back there.

This will be an easy one: The pizza is good! (I mean it's Pizza Hut, duh) The service is bad! (Well, it's Pizza Hut, duh) In conclusion, either do take-out or delivery and you'll be satisfied.

I get my wings from here on Wednesday when they are .50 cent a piece. I dont recommend ordering over the phone because they cold quickly and lose their crispiness. There pizza's are okay but nothing to run home and tell mom about. Wings are delish! I like the super hot wings even though it doesnt blow steam out my ears. Service is great. If your waiting for a while usually the nice female manager will offer me a drink while I wait.

Yes, it is Pizza Hut so you do somewhat know what to expect. Ordered the $10 box or whatever the new promotion is being called. First comment made was 'Well that doesn't look like the commercial' and it didn't. The $10 box ended up costing about $18.50 including a $2 tip...Food tasted fine one major complaint was that we did not order any black olives on the pizza but apparently pizza hut decided we meant to. At that point you aren't going to call and wait for it to be fixed so we picked/dealt. Think next time we will be giving Papa Johns a try.

The end of the story is I got out the door with my wings and they were OK, but I have never seen such haphazard operations in a big chain of restaurants or stores as I saw at our local Pizza Hut / Wing Street. To be fair, this area has had a tremendous amount of snow in the last week, so they were really busy with a 35 minute carry-out wait time (thank goodness I called in first) for an order of wings. When I arrived, I walked to the register with cash in hand. None of the staff even looked in my direction. There were a few people waiting for food and just after I walked in, another customer walked in and got behind me, so we were now technically a "line" waiting for service. Nothing. Finally, a young woman who was putting orders together on the line acknowledged me with a smile and "we'll be right with you" kind of look. Again, they were slammed, but this was more than two minutes at the counter prior to this person finally looking up. The "manager" finally showed up and asked my phone number (that's how they file phone orders). A server interrupted her and asked for change for a $20 bill which she didn't have in the register... oh boy. So, when that exchange finally ended, the "manager" asked my number again and told me it would be another 8 minutes before my food was ready. This seemed to be a stopping point for her. I had to ask if I could pay and wait. The "manager" dropped a bunch of one dollar bills on the floor, left the cash drawer wide open, and knelt down to pick up the money. Anyway, the young woman who first smiled to let me know I would be helped soon appeared with my food almost immediately. Who knows where the 8 minutes statement came from. Maybe it's something they train "managers" on at Pizza Hut / Wing Stop? You know, along with leaving customers at the counter without a greeting, dropping cash and leaving the register open and unattended? If you order here, ask for delivery. That's obviously what they want and that's all they're really ready for!

I was once worked at a pizza hut (not this one nor one of the same franchise) and I am just amazed that they all seem to be so bad. As an employee I just felt like most of them were just horribly run and inconsistent. Through rising prices, change of certain ingredients, and increased amount of frozen items, the value of this pizza chain has just gone downhill. I can remember making pizza dough by hand cooking spaghetti in a pot. Just 2 examples of things that came in frozen bricks by the time I left that place a few years ago. As for this one in germantown, I just went once because my stove blew up on new years eve (of last year it has taken me an entire year to post this) and everything was closed early. First of all cooks not wearing gloves. Before you consider that gross years ago gloves were not supplied and you were just obligated to wash hands everytime you touched a food item. Also, by wearing gloves for an extended period of time your gloves absorb more crap than your hands would normally absorb. Plus going through a 350 degree oven will kill off germs but I would still rather see my cook using gloves and changing them every so often. Service- well PH pays like shit so what kind of workers and attitudes... Well typically as stated above. They weren't bad just a bunch of teenagers more interested in various other things than their minimum wage job. The girl who took my order was obviously tired of standing at a counter and taking orders. I get it- I was there once too but you can't let it show and you NEVER ask if someone would like "something else" which was the question asked about 4 times. You offer the customer a suggestion. Food- pizza cooked well. Cheese sticks a little dry. They didn't have French dressing that I ate on everything when I worked for PH. Food was fine. Overall- probably being a little harsh since I was short on food options but its not really impressive. Clenliness was acceptable. It's pizza hut it should never be high on the choice list Last edit before I post this: I must say those big dinner boxes are decent deals. It's good for feeding people for cheep but I will still stick by my origional review

I have ALWAYS preferred an independent pizza place to a chain. The reason is that chains usually have a hard time keeping the consistency in quality. One shop might be great, but terrible somewhere else. I have always considered Pizza Hut (PH) amazingly consistent...but that's just as far as the PIZZA is concerned. The service at the Germantown PH has pulled some amazingly bone headed stunts more than once that it just baffles me why people choose these over saturated with commercials, gimmick promoting, lame environments for the safe & unimaginative. People I guess like to stick to chains because they think if it's well known then it must be good. It's the same logic as going to Germany or France, but instead of indulging in some of their fine food...you go to Mcdonald's. I only picked one star because it wouldn't let me post without any stars. So, I'll just tell you I give Germantown Pizza Hut 0 stars.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
