Not sure where all the hate is coming from. The reviews here caused my gf and I to go to kentlands for the past year, but decided to give it a shot the other night due to not wanting to drive all the way there when this store is within a few minutes. Food was perfectly fine, and no different than the kentlands location. Customer service was fine. We will now be going here regularly instead of making the trip out to kentlands.

I've been to this location a handful of times now and I agree with the other reviews... the service/food is inconsistent. -It looks like most of the staff hates working there... not a very friendly atmosphere -Portion does seem smaller than my go to location at Montgomery Mall -Long wait even though there are only three customers in the restaurant -Had an experience, where I ordered online and the husband ended up waiting at the store for 30 minutes for pick up. (someone did hand him a receipt and said bring this back and dinner is on us. However, nobody is going to believe us since there was no signature or note.. just a plain receipt.) -My noodles were stuck together= inedible (picture shown) Love Noodles and Company but wish this location would clean up their act. Will continue to visit if I'm desperate.

Management needs to take a more active role in this location as my food and service has been inconsistent. The last time I was there the service was very slow (there were only 2 other people in there) and the woman taking my order was unfriendly, unappreciative, and got my order wrong. Offered no apology when I later ordered some to-go items and notified her of the error. Also, the last two times the pork carnitas has been extremely dried out. N&C is one of my favorite chains and is usually consistently well managed. They serve fresh made food quickly and there are a lot of healthy options. I do like that I can take the kids somewhere quicker and cheaper than a sit-down chain restaurant, but with food that's just as good. Kids will always gravitate towards the mac-n-cheese or pesto pasta, but for me there are great salads, a killer Thai hot pot soup, or even one of their new sandwiches (which I haven't tried yet). Read my prior reviews for more details on the location...

Yuck! Daughter's meatballs were crunchy and my steak was dried out and chewy. Best part of our experience was the soda machine with the many options to choose from. Not a huge fan of N&C to begin with but Kentlands location is so much better.

It's a shame this location has been unable to attain the same level of consistency as the one at the Kentlands. Since they opened we've been here several times and although they do seem to be trying, there's still a lot of work to be done. There's no excuse for dry chicken breast and flat bread that cracks in half. I'm also upset to see the dirty bus pans being placed on already cleaned off tables while another table is being cleared. I'm certain there are plenty of other cleanliness violations happening behind the scenes as well. After several visits with inconsistent quality and service I'm sorry to say that we will not be coming back to this location. We love the menu at Noodles & Co. but we'd rather drive the 10 extra minutes to the Kentlands location to ensure we'll have a better experience.

This is one of my favorite semi casual dining chains. I am a huge pasta lover, so whenever I need a fix I come here. I used to go to this place in College Park all the time when I was in school. I'm so glad they decided to open up a location in Germantown! I really like how they give you a taste of all different cultures. I haven't been disappointed by them yet!

The other reviews are pretty spot on. I think management needs to get a better handle of what's happening at this location. I am a fan of the N&C chain but this location is extremely sub par to the other locations we've been to in the area. My husband and I have been here a handful of times. He usually ends up with a dish that is under portioned or doesn't have enough sauce. Last night it was my dish that was extremely over cooked. The noodles and eggs in my Pad Thai dish (which is one of my favorites) had burnt black spots on them and the noodles were very dry. There were 5 employees I saw while we were there and it wasn't especially busy (there was no line when we ordered) but it took awhile for us to receive our food. The floor around the cashier and soda machine was sticky and you could see red liquid on the tiles in front of the soda machine (gross!). There were tables & booths that had dirty dishes left on them when we walked in and when we left they were still there. Customers that came in to eat after us were walking around trying to find a good table to sit at since none had been cleaned off in the 45 minutes we were there. Like I said before, we've been there many times since this location first opened and it has never once been good on all accounts. I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt as they got started but they are still struggling. I really LOVE N&C so I truly hope that someone is able to turn this location in the right direction!

First time eating here , offered a free lunch for my company. The employees and management were really nice. Food was good. Noodles were little undercooked but in all I would try out again. I had Pad Thai.

My go to dish is the pasta fresca, which now I have to customize it when I call ahead because now they make it with whole wheat pasta, which I dislike, so I order it with penne pasta and with feta cheese, which adds flavor to the dish. The staff is friendly too.

What's the point of paying for soda if every single soda in the machine is completely flat the soda was leaking because the drainer was over filled never coming back here my friend had to wait 30 minutes for her food to be remade because they burnt it it was a terrible experience and the employee gave her an expired coupon from 2014 and when we told her it was expired she said to just say we received it in 2014 like wtf

The restaurant was filthy. The food was cold and the employees had no direction from their manager; in fact management presence wasn't there. This place needs a clean up and full flip of management to salvage this institution.I've never been this dissatisfied with such lackluster service. Not recommended. ( I wouldn't even consider giving them a star.)

Decent food, but it took FOREVER to get our to-go order (annoying when we were already leaving late during a road trip up north) and the restaurant didn't feel like it was in the safest of areas. I still have to give it at least 3 stars, as the food was fine and I'm generally a big fan of Noodles & Co.

I love Noodles & Company in general, so I was excited to find out about this location. I went and it took me over 40 minutes to get my to go order which was just tomato soup & dumplings. They kept apologizing but what was most frustrating was to see them ladle out bowls of the same soup I ordered to people who were dining in. Their system needs to be more efficient. They gave me a "free bowl" card to make up for it but I won't be going to this location again.

I was very excited when I found out that noodles and co was opened in Germantown so a friend and I went for lunch. I got the pad thai and my noodles were kind of crispy and stuck together and there was chicken on my friends vegetarian sandwich. My friend also got the mac n cheese and there were a few random spaghetti noodles in it. This bothers me because it makes me wonder what else is being cross contaminated. There were plenty of open tables when we went for lunch but we had a lot of trouble finding a table that had been cleaned off from previous guests. It was very messy but we ended up finding a long table in the center that had one end clean. We finished our meals before anyone ever came out to clean all of the dirty tables. I'm assuming that they must be understaffed. Not sure that I will come back to this location considering the other locations that are close by are so much better.

Milestone location vs. the Kentlands location - The Kentlands location has consistent entrees and consistently efficient staff - When the Milestone location opened several months ago, the food quality was poor. It couldn't compare with the Kentlands location. the food quality has improved in the last month and is about on par with the Kentlands. However, the service is very inconsistent. Sometimes it's good- it was quick to order, tables were clean, and the food arrives in a reasonable time. Other times, I have to wait for staff to decide to help place my order even if I'm at the front of the line and sometimes there are no clean tables b/c staff hasn't bused them. If I'm able to go the the Kentlands location, I prefer to, but sometimes Milestone is more convenient. With more involved management, this location could be more consistent and draw more customers.

The noodles in both meals were burnt. This is the second time this has happened at this location. Sadly, both times we found out the noodles were burnt when we got home. (Ordered for "carry-out" both times.)

First off, I LOVE Noodles & Company. But this store has got to to be the worst I have visited. The potstickers I ordered were flat (not just thin, but pressed flat), burnt, and chewy. The beef stroganoff was dry, and had crunchy noodles. The only good thing about this place is that the BBQ Pork mac, is amazing. Other than that, I suggest you avoid it.

Love Noodles & Company, but every time we have come to this one the tables are dirty for a long time after people leave. Today most of the tables were empty of people but still not cleared for the next customer. The food service was also very slow. Perhaps too few staff?

We have been big fans of noodles and co for a while now and typically eat there a few times a month. We were excited to find out that one was opening a few minutes away so we have jumped at the opportunity. Unfortunately in our 4-5 visit since the opening, this location has been very disappointing. Either they forget things in out carry out order, do not have our food ready in time for our scheduled pick up, or the items are not fresh. It is becoming harder and harder to visit this location even though it is so close.

I've been wanting to try this restaurant for a while and was very excited to see it was coming to the Milestone shopping center. My husband and I went to dinner there on Sunday evening. There were about 12-15 people in the restaurant yet every table was dirty with dishes, glasses etc... I mentioned this to the cashier because we were eating there and I wanted a table to be cleared off for us. We ended up sitting a small table for 2 in the hallway leading to the restrooms. The floor was sticky from spilled soda. There did not appear to be any manager on duty to make sure the place was cleaned up and service could have been a bit faster. I got the Asian chopped chicken salad which was pretty good. My husband got the shrimp pad thai which was just OK. You can watch the food being prepared. The people prepping the food were not wearing gloves when touching the food and were also working the register, handling money, talking on the phone, yuk. I do not think I will go back here until I start seeing better reviews on yelp.

I am reading some of the negative reviews about this location not being as good as others. I think over the last month or two, they've improved greatly. I would say the food is now just as good at the Kentlands location (before, it was not). Now, it's excellent, and much more consistently so. And yes, there are a lot of young kids that work there (or, at least they seem young to me, but maybe that's 'cause I'm getting old...haha), but they are all very sweet and they do a good job running the place. The service is super fast now too. Once I got stuck behind what must have been half of a kids' soccer team and their parents... and I was STILL in and out in less than ten minutes. And I think they do a fine job cleaning up. Every time I'm in, there are always plenty of clean tables to sit at. The people who are saying there aren't obviously aren't looking very hard. Sure, there might be one or two tables with stuff still on them, but you will find that at every single restaurant you walk in to. I mean, you can't stand behind people with a dishrag in hand, waiting for them to finish.

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
