The filet mignon was wonderfully tender, just delicious! And the scalloped potatoes were to die for! My wife had the pork chops, which she described as "orgasmically delicious"! The side salads were very good. We will definitely be repeating. Our waitress was Mandi, and I would recommend asking for her when you come here.

They use to have a great Happy Hour, really good appetizers and drink specials, not any more. They still have the drink specials but no longer have food specials. Very sad, moving on to a better Happy Hour!

I can't remember if I've ever been to a Bonefish Grill but I hear their advertising all the time. So, when the Missus and I wanted to hide out on Halloween (dinner and a movie) we saw Bonefish literally within walking distance of the theater. I had also heard a lot about their bang-bang shrimp so, what the hell, I ordered up some as an appetizer. Good stuff. It comes with chopsticks, for some unknown reason, and I used them to eat the delicious appetizer. It was could be described as "mildly hot" - not 3 alarm hot - more like one alarm hot. Going on to the main course, the Missus had the salmon and herb couscous and I had one of the specials - swordfish and pumpkin ravioli. Both were pretty tasty with the exception that my swordfish was a tad on the dry side. The pumpkin ravioli was delish, though. They get the portions right and they put them on smaller plates so it looks like you're getting a lot of food. That works for me. I really don't appreciate restaurants that service huge portions. You can never finish them and, if you do, you've eaten too much. Good food, Reasonable portions. Prices that are just a tad high (for the atmosphere and the marketing, no doubt). All in all, a good place to eat if you're on a date night or have the money to blow on a decent meal.

Came here for LOBSTER Tuesday....but they had no lobster?! Really? How are you not even crowded but say you are unusually busy. ..and that's why you don't have a WHOLE menu of your Tuesday lobster specials. Uhmmmmm yeah.....hot mess!

Ok Happy Good Friday. I was definitely feeling fish this evening so i have been trying to make it to this place for about 6months now and i said hey I'm going to be like nikey. Just do it! Lol so we gave it a try. We ordered mussels as the appetizer and the sauce was so good. We had a glass of red wine. Called Menage a trois. It was superb! Semi dry. Blended 3 different wines. So that's how they came up with the name. Hmmmm Very good choice. Hey it was so good we went out to buy more bottles of it. :) so now for the main course. We both ordered the Arctic Char fish which is something I've never tried but I'm all open to try new things and glad i did. Very good indeed. The bottom was a little crispy but i worked around it. It kind of reminded me of swordfish. All of there fish is filet . only wish they sold bone fish as well. Would i return. Yes i would. Probably would try one of there different locations though. Oh last but not forgotten. They give you some very tasty bread with the olive oil and crushed herbs. All I can say is Omg yesss. .

Ordered the same drink I had last time, ultimate cucumber Margarita. Crab cakes and bang band shrimp tacos were exquisite. Will be returning to try more new menu items!

Any time I'm at a Bonefish I'm pleased. I met someone here for brunch on Saturday morning- really to catch up and talk business. Our waiter was attentive and as soon as he realized that we were just talking, not actually finished eating, he just kept an eye on us just in case we needed something. The water was always full, he'd make sure we didn't need anything- so I applaud his effort to let us do our thing. I had the large Ahi Tuna appetizer and my friend had a small Caesar salad along with the chicken Street Tacos. My appetizer was fine, a little too much crust for my like. My friend seemed to enjoy her meal but the tacos looked very small to me, as they are served in wonton wrappers.

Food and drinks are OK for the most part, but service on several occasions has been slow, even when the restaurant was not crowded. The floor in the bar area and path to the restrooms have a layer of grease that is unpleasant and potentially unsafe to walk upon.

A bit pricey but I like this place better than Red Lobster. Entrees for a party of 4, with 1 appetizer, 2 desserts and 5 waters came out to a little over $100. I had the blackened tilapia fish tacos which was good but would like to try some thing else next time. I would recommend the flour less macadamia brownie dessert. It was yummy and is enough for 2-4 people.

Meh. First and last time eating here. I had the red snapper but it was tough. My husband's fish was extremely bland. We didn't bother with dessert.

I have gone here a few times after work and sat at the bar "by myself" and had a drink and dinner. Very cheap happy hour wine, but it's not the greatest. I will often treat myself to something not on HH to get a decent drink. Sometimes the Caesar salad is overdressed and soggy, often the mashed potatoes are lukewarm (or cold) but they taste good. The protein is always good - usually I get the salmon or the shrimp & scallops. Bartenders are nice, but sometimes they get overwhelmed with drink orders from the main dining area and the bar patrons go unattended. Also, it tends to be VERY COLD in there! If it's summer, wear long pants and bring a sweater!

I've had several dining experiences at BFG, but this was my first brunch dining experience there. Sorry no pictures as I was famished and the french toast I ordered was on point. It came with two slices of bacon and fresh strawberries and whipped creme as a garnish. They offer the bottomless mimosas, blackberry sangria or peach bellinis to quench your thirst as you play catch up with your friends and family. I tried one of each and the blackberry sangria was my favorite. The peach bellini has a slice of frozen peach in it to serve as a chiller and a treat when you're done. Service was on par and my server was very attentive. My favorite carnivore made light work of his Angus beef burger and fries. His only feedback was that he wished it were a little juicier. It was pretty sizable and came with one side item option. Very clean establishment with plenty of parking. Located in the Waugh Chapel shopping center across from The Green Turtle and Red Robin

The ambiance is nice and the staff was really friendly. Plus there wasn't a wait, which is often the case in Waugh Chapel. I love the bang bang shrimp at any bonefish and my food was delicious. However my boyfriend got the steak ordered medium and it was very well done. At a nice restaurant I expect them to know how to cook a steak, even if its a seafood place. I thought it was strange when the waiter delivered it he asked my boyfriend to cut into it to see if it was cooked okay, so this much be a normal problem that they have. They offered to recook it, which was nice, but we didn't want to have to wait for that.

I came here for the third time in the past 4 years. I used to like bonefish grill but not anymore. The ambiance has been downgraded. I do not like that they use a piece of brown paper as table cover instead of white table cloths. It's not like they serve any steamed crabs here. The foods are ok. The ceviche was terrible almost like the mix of boiled seafood with ketchup. Very disappointing. The free bread with olive oil is pretty good. The attic char fish tastes good like salmon. Crab and avocado was so so. The service is good but the foods came out slow.

Really disappointed with my last experience here, which was my first time picking up an order. Our salad was beyond pathetic - small, with few toppings. Night and day compared to our dining experience there with the same order. The bang bang shrimp was good. No complaints there. We had to wait on bread and when it came, even though we had three entrees we were picking up, we only got one small loaf. That being said, the time before I visited, it was for brunch and it was fan-FREAKING-tastic! So much to choose from and a deal on mimosas and bellinis. Very nice! They had everything from cajun shrimp omelettes to crème brûlée french toast. Just fantastic. Pick up order? 3 stars. Brunch and Dinner? 5 stars. Average Experience? 4 stars.

Both - the bang bang shrimp appetizer and tacos are my favorite! Delicious! I had a taste of the deep fried tilapia too and I wasn't super impressed with it. Overall, it's a nice location. And the servers are pleasant too.

Bonefish Grill is a national seafood chain restaurant that recently opened a new location in Gambrills, MD, which is roughly 30-35 minutes or so from both DC and Baltimore. The restaurant is located in a brand new shopping plaza, which also houses a movie theater and Wegmans grocery store, among other things. The service is pretty good. The hostesses are professional and accommodating. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I tried the Bang Bang Shrimp, Waygu Beef and Ginger Dumplings and a Lobster Roll. The Bang Bang Shrimp is similar to shrimp appetizers at many other chain restaurants in that they're fried and topped with a spicy aioli type sauce. The dish was average. The batter on the shrimp was soft, perhaps from being drenched in the aioli sauce. I expected at least a little heat or burst of flavor from each bite, but instead it was just flat. The Waygu Beef and Ginger Dumplings sounds better than it really is. While there were a generous number of dumplings available, things just tasted very bland. In particular, the filling, which was the waygu beef, is basically flavorless. On the bright side, the dumpling shell is nicely prepared. The Lobster Roll consisted of a roll cut in half and stuffed with a massive amount of lobster meat. My side dish was a spring mix salad dressed with a vinaigrette. The salad was a little lightly dressed for my liking but was otherwise serviceable. The star of the show was absolutely the lobster roll, and with good reason. It may have been the best one I've ever had, that is until I make it to Maine. A generous sized roll cut in half, stuffed with succulent lobster meat that is lightly mixed with mayo, and a side item of your choice; all for $14. How can you go wrong? You can go wrong by wasting all your money at Luke's Lobster, where you pay $17 for a lobster roll that might not even be the size of half of Bonefish's roll. In fairness though, the lobster roll at Bonefish is listed as a special so there's no telling how long it will be available. All in all, a pretty good visit to the dreaded chain restaurants. Particularly due to that lobster roll, I will be back!

Bonefish Grill gives you great value for your dollar. Food is well prepared with quick efficient service as well. It is great addition to the Crofton area. Definitely recommend and will of course dine here again.

Had dinner at this Restaurant and was not impressed at all. The waitress did not ask if we wanted a refill on our drinks and we had to ASK for silverware!!! The waitress response was let me go see if I can FIND some silverware for you! WOW! Oh and I almost slipped on the floor which was greasy. I felt as if I was ice skating in Bone Fish Grille. The entrée was more like a kids portion. So, do yourself a favor and consider eating at Blue Dolphin Restaurant instead.

Came here on a Friday after work...big mistake. This place is always crowded from what I see and our wait was about 30 minutes when we first got there. Then the wait changed to 2 hours for the people who came in after us. Our waiter was good and knew everything about the menu. The appetizers, entrée and drinks were great. We ordered the Thai Coconut Shrimp for an appetizer. Since I didn't want that much I ordered the Baja Fish Tacos which were great and huge, very filling. The reason I giving this place 3 stars is because of the noise level and because it was very, very crowded. TIP: Come early but still expect a crowd.

Went to the restaurant and 2 pm on a Thursday. Only a few people in the restaurant. The server was attentive in the beginning and check on the ingredients of a dish for us. We both ordered the Lime Cilantro salad that is supposed to have black beans, corn, feta avocado. Salads came with lots of lettuce one tomato each, about 5 beans and a few pieces of corn...no feta, no avocado, no cilantro! Server nowhere to be found so tracked down a manager and he fixed the salads (one came back with no feta but the server did get us some when alerted to the problem). Table cloth was torn at the corners but tables are covered with a brown craft paper so I guess they assumed it was ok to be like that. I could see if the restaurant was full and kitchen was backed up for this to happen but we were practically alone in the restaurant. Bill arrived and server left for us to sign.... of course the pen provided didn't write and no one around to help. Searched through purse for a pen, signed and left....we won't be back.

A party of 6 went at 5:00 (before the rush hour) to have apps and dinner. Food was fresh and very good BUT don't know why you keep the dining room so dark. All of the people at our table complained about it, we told the waiter and the front desk manager about so hopefully will see a change on my 5th time back to the restaurant. Also was a little confused why we had sooooo many different waiters/waitresses bringing our apps, drinks, and food. I can honestly say we probably had 6-8 different people at our table tonite .

We went tonight. Parking is very bad at this restaurant. We had reservations so we were seated on arrival. Everything seemed to go smooth, but we had the disappearing waitress. We left without desert after waiting over 15 minutes to get her attention. Food was served luke warm and we were not impressed with the quality.

Who do these people think they are? While the decor is pleasant the attitude of the management is abhorrent! I took my elderly mother to this place for her birthday and I realized within 15 minutes I made a terrible choice! We were seated by an uncaring hostess who gave us menus but no silverware! The waiter, a tall and pleasant young man, named Liam, was horrified that we had been seated without silverware by the "hostess" and he seemed to get cornered by a "manager" with large unattractive tatoos on his arms who proceeded to dress the waiter down for not providing silverware to our table with the rude hostess looking on and laughing! Totally Unprofessional!! I was shocked by this as well as the hostess laughing at our server who was trying to get things right! I called the manager over to our table and he said the waiter was new and inexperienced and it was his job to provide the silverware. I then asked Manager Michael why the table that was seated across from us five minutes later was given silverware by the same hostess who had neglected us and this "manager" who looked younger that any of the staff seemed at a loss for words! No apology, Nothing! He then went to the hostess stand and was laughing with her at our poor waiter! UNBELIEVABLE! By this time the poor waiter was taking our order and appeared rightfully humiliated and flustered! My Mom then ordered something called Bang Bang Shrimp which one of her Bridge friends raved about and I got the "manager selected" Sea Bass. I asked what " manager selected" meant and that I hope the rude Manager Michael didn't select it and he said no the GM was responsible for that. Feeling somewhat relieved that it must have been selected by an older, more experienced manager than MIchael, our food arrived promptly but it wAs strangely arranged on our waiters arms and was extremely hot! Don't these people realize trays should be used to protect the waiters arms from serious burns? What was this odd procedure? I asked the waiter why no trays and he seemed under a strain to answer my question at all! He just shrugged it off but was very pleasant at all times. My Sea Bass was tasty as well as the house salad and wonderful potatoes au gratin. However, the Bang Bang Shrimp my Mom ordered was disgusting! It looked like a bowl of dog food and smelled rank! The waited immediately saw our horror and asked if he could bring another dish but I said no, please take it back and bring Mom the Sea Bass which he did promptly and it was as good as mine, which was a relief! After dinner we asked about dessert and the waiter recommended the Key Lime Pie which I tried and MOM got the Creme Brulee which she remembered as a student in Paris....well I tell you the pie was good but the Brulee tasted like Jello Instant PUDDING!! WHAT?? I tasted it and it was horrible! We sent it back after the waiter asked if it was ok and the waiter said he understood proper Creme Brulee from having worked at Clydes in COLUMBIA, and almost recommended against it but lots of people actually enjoyed the Bonefish version. He promptly offered us free coffee as a consolation and it was appreciated. I don't like this place at all because of their rude manager Michael and we will never come here again! It's mediocre at best! Don't waste your money here! A very unsatisfactory experience from the rude hostess and little boy "manager!! YUCK!! Go to Annapolis Folks!

Really disappointed. I'm a MD girl and serious about my seafood. I've heard commercials and my mom wanted to go here for lunch so I decided to give this place a try. I ordered the thai coconut shrimp as an appetizer it was good, nothing spectacular, but decent. The "homemade" lemonade tasted like bottled lemon juice mixed with sugar, not my idea of homemade so I sent that back. I ordered the crab cake sandwich with fries and coleslaw. The fries and Asian cole slaw were good, but the crab cake sandwich was horrible. My brioche bun was over toasted, the crab cake was mushy, and they tried to compensate for the lack of flavor with a terrible red spicy remolaude, and did I mention no old bay seasoning at a seafood restaurant in MD. I attempted to take a pic of my sandwich as I sent it back to the kitchen but the server noticed I was Yelping and quickly whisked away my plate. My sister got the Kobe beef burger and fries and aside from the restaurant not having any mustard her meal was good. My mom and sister ordered bang bang shrimp tacos. My mom's tortillas were burnt and crunchy but my sister's were Ok. They had a few interesting cocktails on the menu, so I'd be willing to give them a try for happy hour, but not for a meal.

Got the Ahi Tuna it came out over cooked, the manager said unfortunately all of it was looking like that, so I ordered the Cerviche and it was not hitting it. Don't understand they are usually pretty good, but I usually go to the one in Glen Burnie. Oh well.

I have been a fan of this chain for many years. Great food, great service and atmosphere. That was until we moved to Crofton and me and my family were subjected to this franchise. 1st time...service not so much. 2nd time...Calamari tasted like the freezer. Overcooked. Tough and old. 3rd time was yesterday... We are immediately seated and I thought good start. Waiter, Leonard, takes his sweet time getting our drink order. No offering of information, welcome, small talk at all. Took are order with a smirk and lumbered off to get our drinks. 20 minutes later as I am watching him chat with the table behind us. Clean their table etc. Asst. Manager is there and I mention people who have were seated after us are on their entrees. Funny, he answers with the same smirk and shrug of the shoulders. Another 5 minutes (which means it was ready this whole time) salads, bread and appetizers hit the table. Ok...bad service but keep trying as this was the only time I had to have a Mothers Day dinner with my family. 20 minutes and Leonard completely disappears. Not a refill, can I get you anything nothing. Mind you other tables are getting prompt friendly service. So to the female servers kudos. We decide enough is enough. Go to find him and ask for our entrees to be packed up. Manager comes out and says as he leans on the chair at the table with the same condescending smirk " Ya, see he was chatting and your entrees haven't been cooked yet". Corporate, Mr. Franchise....you better watch who you've got minding your store. I have visited Bonefish 60 times in the last 5 years. Check average $150-200 for 4 with a 25% tip. That's 6k for one family. I doubt our experience is unusual. Can't be it's happened 3 times. Save yourself and find another location. Wait!! Look at the reviews from 2015. 2 stars or less! Same bad service, mediocre food and condescending attitude. I hate to paint the competent servers with this broad brush but sheer cluelessness of the management team demands action. Come on Yelp! The people have spoken. Change the rating to reflect Bonefish Grill Crofton's true state of affairs!

Went to BG for lunch with a group of 8 today. We gathered at noon and ordered food by 12:20. No bread delivered to the table and we were told that it was automatic at supper only, but the waitress did bring some out to those who requested it. Soups (for 4 people) came out at 12:40. Entrees did not come out until 1:10-1:15; one of the entrees had been forgotten by the kitchen and that one came out 10 minutes later. The food was good, the service was good in that beverages were filled/refilled in a timely fashion. But there was NO ONE ELSE IN THE RESTAURANT! Why did it take us 50 minutes to get our food .... did they have to catch the salmon and fish???? What was going on in the kitchen?? I wouldn't go back to BG for lunch unless I have LOTS of time to kill.

This place is ALWAYS crowded even during the weeknights, so you know the food has to be good! Our favorite appetizers to get are the bang bang shrimp and the Singapore Calamari. I also like getting the Imperial Tilapia which is tilapia topped with gruyere cheese, capers, shrimp, scallops, and crabmeat. You get your choice of two sides and since I'm Filipino, I always get the jasmine rice and this spaghetti squash. Portions are a bit on the small size for the price you pay, however, I will pay for quality anytime:-)

I've eaten at Bonefish in Bentonville, Arkansas (which is fantastic from the decor to service to drinks and outstanding food), the Bonefish in Glen Burnie (which was okay food, but uninspiring service and not great atmosphere), and was INCREDIBLY excited about having a Bonefish Grill almost literally across the street from my home. My husband & I went in today for brunch. Normally, we are very easy to please people and think we are fairly laid back in general. The service today was the worst service I've seen. What I mean by that: Burger King has better staff and management. We waited about 5 minutes to be seated, and when it was our turn to be seated, the THREE hostesses staffing the front podium couldn't figure out to politely guide the customers by the door to stop blocking the path to the dining room. From there, we were seated at a table in the middle of the restaurant where we waited more than 10 minutes before we even saw a waiter. When we asked one of the hostesses about that, we got a kind apology and a, "Oh, I'll have someone sent right over." Seriously, another 10 minutes later, new customers were being seated and ordering appetizers and there we were, still sitting without even water. Wow. We were greeted 25 minutes into our visit by a very soft spoken waiter who didn't have a clue how to respond quickly to anything. He seemed shocked when we wanted to order our food at the same time as our drinks. After another 10 minute wait, we got bread and our beverages. I'm not kidding when I say it was another 20 minutes of waiting and we still didn't receive our food. Not only did we not receive food, our waiter never bothered to check our beverages for refills. This is absolutely the worst organizational cluster-F*!? I've ever witnessed. I understand shortage of man-power. We were told the staff was short handed and promised good service, which we didn't receive, nor did we receive our food. We decided after such a ridiculous wait to just leave. So much for celebrating Valentine's Day with a lovely meal. Managers need to train these obviously untrained brand new workers with attitude lessons. When customers are eager to tell you what they want and are polite, sauntering through the restaurant at a leisurely pace and neglecting them doesn't inspire clients to believe you care about serving them. It should not take 10 minutes to be seen. It should not take 20 minutes for ONE beverage. It should not take 40 minutes for a simple entree to arrive, ESPECIALLY at a chain restaurant where the processes of EVERYTHING are supposed to be refined to an artform, as they are in MANY other locations. Our family will not return.

My hubby took me here for B-day and it was very nice but a few small things were weird like Service was good but wasn't nothing special! Server was just going thru the motions! We got everything we needed and wait time for apps & entrees were perfect timing! We got 2 orders of Bang Bang and they were best we ever had anywhere!! Did not like how dark it was in there I always think when a restaurant is dark they are hiding something like dirt or Bugs! We barely could see the menu! And for that reason very doubtful we will return! Maybe for lunch! I had the Wild Mihi Mihi Oscar style! It was good but didn't have much jumbo lump crab for the price! Then I asked for doggie bag she gave small box no bag! I said can I get bag she said ran out of bags! Really! How cheap is that! Lori B. Was are server in case you want friendly service don't get her! But I will enclose pic of my meal! All in all everything was good! Not Excellent! Just Good!!

Food has good flavor. I ordered lily chicken that looks appealing, it has fresh goat cheese, & spinach but a little bit dry. I paired it with Red Sangria which taste a bit sweet and lesser alcohol. Service was so so slow. Maybe they don't have enough crew on a Halloween night?? The place smells soooo fishy ... Need better exhaust! Won't be back here...

  • C K.

I've had nothing but great service and food at this location. I've probably had just about everything on the menu, including brunch, and have yet to be disappointed! The sangria is to die for! As far as chain restaurants go, this one is definitely in the upper echelon! Also love that they take reservations!

I should know better, being that I have been here before, but I was hoping the service would be better. Not only did we sit around waiting for entirely too long, but the waiter forgot one of the appetizers. Normally I would say that the saving grace is the cheesy rolls, I couldn't eat them this time because my eating plan. I have had better, in other words.

Had a holiday luncheon there that was pre-ordered and still came out slowly (4 guests in our party waited over 20 minutes to get their food from the time the first entrees arrived), and the portions were smaller than usual. Not just the difference between lunch and dinner either. I need to mention that my party was only one of of about four in the entire restaurant. They were far from "busy". The salmon I received was cold and tough. Not anything like I have gotten on several other occasions as the same location. It was very disappointing as I had bragged on the good food to one of the company's executives. I will give them one more chance because the past visits were so impressive. But if this had been my first visit I would never be back. :(

I went in to grab a late lunch/early dinner to go, about 20 minutes after the restaurant opened. I ordered an appetizer (Bang Bang shrimp) with a side of rice and waited at the bar for my order. The bar area was dirty/sticky, which makes no sense since they had just opened. I have to wonder if the bartender forgot to check for my order, because I waited about 30 minutes and when I got it, the shrimp were just barely warm and the rice was lukewarm (I decided to check it as soon as I got to the car since I was curious about whether the food had really just come out). However, I went home and heated everything up, and it was delicious. They also included the full order of bread and olive oil that I would have received while waiting had I ordered in. Loses one star for the bar being dirty at the start of the business day and another for the food coming out almost cold.

Went here on Sunday for brunch with 5 friends, we made a reservation and still had to wait 20 minutes when the restaurant wasn't busy. The hostess kept telling us our table was being setup now but no one was setting it up. When we finally sat down we had to wait 20 minutes for a server to greet us and it wasn't even our waitress. So at this point we waited 40 minutes without even getting a drink. We asked the young lady who greeted us if she could just be our server since she was the only person who acknowledged our table. Our group ordered our food and two of us didn't even get our soup or drink refills. So why buy bottomless mimosas if you NEVER get your refill. I have been to Bonefish Grill at various locations and this is by far the worst service I have EVER had and I will not return. I would rather drive 15-25 minutes to go to the Glen Burnie/Annapolis location.

Food was pretty good. Service was pretty bad. I've heard really good things about Bonefish and wanted to like it. Food is probably worth the hype, but the service makes it not worth it. I'd suggest you try somewhere else...

My husband and I took his mother to Bonefish in Crofton MD this afternoon. We had a 1:30 reservation, showed up five minutes early, and were seated within five minutes. The waiter was nice and seemed knowledgeable. We were given brunch menus. Hubby and I had the edamame hummus which was very good. We both enjoyed our salmon and MIL really liked her tilapia. Our drinks were kept full. At $85 for three meals with no alcohol, the price seemed quite high. There was a $5 upcharge to get asparagus instead of another side. This wasn't stated on the menu or explained by the waiter. This seemed exorbitant for five spears of plain steamed asparagus. Overall, the food and service were very good, but I had to go with three stars due to the price.

My fiancée and I experienced horrible service on 5/5/13 and will not be returning to this location again. Very disappointing, since we live close-by and there aren't many nicer restaurants in the area.

TERRIBLE service from the time we walked in. Greeting by host was very unprofessional and rude Server at first we thought was good, but then it all fell apart. It took 15 minutes for the one glass of wine to be delivered to our table. Server never checked on us (for ex: fill our glasses with more water, explain why food is delayed.....) We waited 30 minutes for our main course to arrive. The manager on duty came to our table "after" the meal was served and apologized. His explaination was that the container holding the sauce for the steak broke and he had to make a new batch. Acceptable excuse, yes BUT why couldn't the server tell us why the meal was being delayed?? He never stopped by the table. Food taste was cold and tasteless. First and last time eating here. I will NEVER go back there and would not recommend the place to anyone!! C'mon Man!!!!

The restaurant did not cook the tuna at all. When, the waitress send it back the manager came back and dropped of the tuna and didn't ask if it was cooked right and just left. The tuna now came back burned. The manager did not seem to care. There appears to be lack of concern for serving quality food to the customer. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone much better places in the area.

I have eaten at other Bonefish locations before and the overall experience was average. I find the chain as a whole to be overrated with its prices to high for the quality and quantity you get but I have friends that love the "overcrowded must mean good" mentality. But this specific location is worse. I have been here twice (not by choice), with about six months separation in between and the service has surprisingly not changed, for the better or for the worse. But then again it couldn't get much worse. In both visits with different servers we experienced botched orders, cold food, missing items, bad attitudes, slow service. This coupled with the overcrowded nature of the place its just a show. The server we had the second time didn't know his menu items, and when I asked him if he was new (which would have earned him a pass to a degree) he responded that he had been there since the place opened. Twice, he came back to our table, after taking our order to verify something we had ordered, the second time, 15 minutes after he should have already put the ticket up. One hour later our food arrives, my medium rare steak, yeah well done. Also, while we were waiting that hour, the cat didn't come to our table once to see if he could refill out long empty drinks until I literally got up, went to the front and asked the podium people to send someone to our table. The one-star rating is for this specific Bonefish, which I would never recommend anyone go. Overall Bonefish is about a three star.

If I hadn't been to this location before today, this review would contain 2 less stars. I give this location two stars because the food here is pretty good, and the first two times we visited this location with reservations, we never had any issue aside from lengthy wait times. But not today...Today, my fiancée and I decided to seat ourselves at the bar to avoid the dinner wait. As we sat patiently, we saw a few servers walk back and forth. About 10 minutes later, an older Caucasian couple sat next to us. They immediately received menu's and napkins. And about 2 minutes after being seated, they were greeted by someone who welcomed them and told them their server would be with them shortly -- we still didn't even have menus. My fiancée and I were dumbfounded. She politely told the hostess we were dissatisfied with what had transpired and we walked out. 10 minutes later, we're enjoying delicious drinks, food and service at 4 Seasons!

My fiancee and I returned to the same location for a Sunday brunch around 1:30 pm or so. We were seated about 15 minutes later. The restaurant was quite crowded. I ordered the steak and lobster muffins and she ordered the brioche french toast. We waited about 25 minutes (No bread while waiting - made us a bit hungrier, but hey no leftovers!). The food was worth the wait. My combo muffins were great and her french toast was equally good. We paid about $30, after a $5 coupon. The service was good, considering the crowds. We would return for brunch again. I did peek at the lunch (available Mon - Sat) menu while waiting and noticed that lunch prices were reasonable too.

On a busy night they seem to run out of what it on the menu and you are left questioning what's on your plate. Some of the food is good, but the drinks are what really brought my rating down.

3 stars because I love the fresh lemonade. Brunch is a unorganized mess as far as waitstaff. Had to ask four times for a lime with a water and I got french toast with no syrup, took 10 min to get that. For a $40 brunch w/o alcohol? Never again. Service was lacking by everyone who came to the table. This will not a brunch destination on the rotation.

On a spur of the moment, a very good girlfriend and I decided to go check out "Bonefish Grill. We'd both heard great things about it but had not been. We went to the location in Gambrills, MD (/Crofton). It will near capacity but we were seated immediately, san reservations. The waitress was cherry and knowledgeable. She recommended a fruity cocktail from my girlfirend and I had a mojito. I love mine; whe was indifferent to hers. As an appetizer, she wanted to order mussels. I confinced her to to share the scallops wrapped in bacon (for me, it is a good test of a restaurant -- how they prepare scallops). They failed miserably. The scallops were dried out and overcooked -- like they were forgotton about and salvaged at the last minute. For entrees, I suggested she try the Chilean sea bass. She loved it. I ventered for the Ahi Tuna Tokyo Style. I was fair to good. Overall, the experience was a 3 on a scale of 1-5. Will I go back? Certainly. I have a general distaste for chain restaurants but there are a few I revisit. Bonefish Grill is now added to my list which includes Fogo de Chao and P.F. Changs.

Hubby and I enjoyed a nice date night here. Late Saturday very busy with what was expected to be hour wait. It went by fast, bartender was fantastic! Asked our names, attentive and welcoming. Great drink selection and lots of wine( not my thing but there are walls of wine bottles) Small craft beer selection but all good. Got to enjoy a Tank 7 at the table. Staff is very knowledgable of menu. Fresh fish grilled , you pick the sauce. We stuck to the specials. Lobster rangoons. WOW! I had wolf fish with crab imperial. Lemony sauce, garlic potatoes and green beans. Nice serving size, not huge but just right. Dessert was a coconut pie. This is fresh coconut in a custard the toasted coconut makes a crust. Served warm with a Myers rum sauce and real whipped cream. 2 people, several beers, app, dinner and shared dessert $80. Can't wait to go back!

We always have a great time when we come here. The Apps are awesome and the wait staff is on point. I won't lie, on Friday and Saturday it gets a little crowded, but it's worth wait. Tonight the kitchen lost our check and the food didn't make it to our table for almost 45 minutes. Justin the Manager on duty took care of every thing and made sure that we left satisfied. You could tell he really cared about the service and the fact that we waited really bothered him. All in all, tonight they get an 8.

I LOVE this particular Bonefish Grill! I usually venture here for brunch, but come for dinner as well. When it first opened the customer service was OUTSTANDING, and it hasn't changed. We're on a first name basis with many of the employees and enjoy every visit. Before this location opened I would venture to Waldorf. That location is good as well, but the Crofton/Gambrills location is the BEST! Friendly staf

Three words.. Bang Bang Wednesdays. That is all you really need to know. However, I think everyday should be a bang bang day. I have loved Bonefish's food ever since my first experience about 6 years ago on a girl's trip in Virginia. My husband Phil and I went after the Knoxville Marathon in TN about 2 1/2 years ago. It's just a great selection no matter what the location. However, I did enjoy this particular location because of the awesome service we were given. Even the wait seating outside was a nice touch on such a nice day. I always have to get the bang bang shrimp and raspberry martini within minutes of sitting down!

First visit (within the first month of opening): We called ahead to see if we need reservations. We were told no come on down. When we arrived there was standing room only in the restaurant and the wait time was two hours. We did not wait. We made reservations for another night. Second visit (about 6 weeks after they opened): We had a reservation. We were seated promptly even though there were people waiting for tables. We started with the calamari, it was fine, nothing special about it. I had shrimp stuffed oar fish. It wasn't really stuffed it just had scampi and bay scallops on top of it. It was good, but a little overdone. I up charged to the asparagus for 4 huge stalks, not worth the money to me. I asked for butter when my plate was delivered. It took forever to get it, so long that the asparagus was cold by the time it came. My husband had the grouper grilled. It was good. The side of fire grilled corn with jalepenos and red pepper was delicious. Now for our third visit (Father's Day): I called right before they opened on the Saturday before Father's Day in the off chance they might have a reservation for Father's Day. The gentleman who answered the phone asked me what time I told him 6:30 he said that was full but he had 6:15 or 6:45 but 6:15 was best for them. I gave him my name. We arrived at 6:10 on Sunday and were told there is no reservation in the book for us. I relayed the phone conversation and the hostess said she believed me. She put us in the book. We were seated within 10 minutes. Very nice. Our waitress was upbeat, friendly and great. The place was jammed. They ran out of bread but the appetizer of Bang Bang came out quickly. The Bang Bang Shrimp is good here. Good thing too because 30 minutes later we were looking around to see who was seated ahead of us that hadn't gotten their food yet. The manager was apologizing to some tables. The appetizers kept coming out of the kitchen but no entrees. Finally our waitress told us they had bread again did we want some. Did we ever. Eventually our entrees came, I had the scallop special. $20 for five scallops that had been way over cooked until they were the size of a quarter. I could hear Gordon Ramsey yelling in my head. My husband's artic char was also overcooked. The side vegetable of the day was zucchini and tomato, to bad they forgot to scrub the zucchini, mine had grit in almost every bite. I opted for the ceasar salad as my other side, $2.99 up charge, while the salad was nicely dressed not sure it was worth the up charge. I chose not to send back my plate because I did not want to wait another half hour to 45 minutes for my dinner. Just get me out of here was my thought. Bonefish has a survey to take on their receipt. I took it, I asked to be contacted. Nothing. I went to the corporate site and filled out their contact form, which says you will be contacted within 48 hours. Nothing. I waited a month and filled out the corporate form again, you guessed it, again NOTHING. Won't be going back to an expensive restaurant that doesn't cook the food properly. The wait staff is always good and hustles constantly but the kitchen is letting them down. And no one at corporate cares about the customers.

I have been to several Bonefish locations and have always loved the food. This location was very disappointing. I understand they just opened but its a chain... The service was good. But the food was not. Bang bang shrimp did not taste the same. It had less flavor. The entrees portion sizes, very stingy. My trout was paper thin. The wife had the steak and crab cake. Steak was very dry. I hope they get better.

Honestly from a seafood lover's perspective I'd say lunch and dinner here have been pretty unremarkable. They are similar to a jazzed up Red Lobster which is not bad but also not anything to write home about. 5stars of this review are solely based on the Sunday Brunch experience we had last week. The brunch menu had a variety of unique options that all seemed like they would be DELICIOUS. The shrimp and corn cakes entree was an awesome spin on traditional shrimp and grits and was full of robust and savory flavors. I could have licked the bowl it was served in, it was sooooo good. The western omelette with Turkey chorizo was also out of this world as were the bottomless passionfruit mimosas. I LOVE a good brunch time mimosa and theirs is now in my rotation of favorites. Service from Heather was AMAZEballs!!! She was friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and never let us wait or want for a thing. She went above and beyond to even assist us in a bet we made about something I won't bore you all in describing here. I won the bet all thanks to her double 0 seven tactics and couldn't praise her service enough. I'd review this location a 10 and will be back just based on her stellar service.

I have only been here once but definitely plan to return! Staff was warm and welcoming. Service was prompt. Food was great. We started with the Bang Bang Shrimp which was awesome. Then had a dinner sampler platter for two - it came with tuna, sea bass, shrimp and scallops. We chose cheesy au gratin potatos and green beans for our sides. Portions weren't huge but we left satisfied.

This is my first review and its funny because I am in the service business and get lots of clients based on my reviews. Anyway...My first time at this Bonefish was for brunch early this summer. I have returned numerous times with friends, on date night, even for happy hour! I must say that the service is always super great! The staff is very pleasant and friendly and they help each other. Lisa the bartender is the best! Once I had a minor issue with martinis being poured inconsistently as 4 martinis were lined up in the bar and two were at half the glass (not being greedy but if you're a martini drinker you might agree) and the manager himself agreed and made my friend and I amazing martinis! Still it was all in a playful drama free manner. So...I consistently receive great service, try great menu items a they're recommended and we always leave happy!

Love bonefish grill! Have taken both family and friends, and all have raved. That it's a little more on the expensive end is the only drawback to the fabulous seafood. What's good: bang-bang shrimp, any lobster special, stuffed tilapia, any grilled fish (the Chilean Sea Bass is OMG)... It's all good! Always fresh cocktails on the menu, a small beer selection but enough to find something, and mouth-watering dessert choices - though we've never made it to them! Seating and reservations have gotten much better since they opened. Not a huge fan of the dark ambience and we've had hit-or-miss service, but the food is always worth it!

The food is consistently good. The service is usually really good. Recently we were invited by e-mail to do a chef's table so me and my grandmother went and the food was wonderful. The waitress and the manager was very knowledgeable about the food and very friendly. I love the bang bang shrimp so I don't mind that they are putting it everywhere. My grandmother even tried Ahi Tuna for the first time and said she would get it now because she never expected to like it. The thing I was surprised to like so much was the steak with white truffle butter. It totally blew my taste buds away in amazement. Usually I only like my steak medium rare and not well done but the steak was so tender, juicy and flavor was so good. I know what I will get next time I am there. They made some very good additions to the menu. I am also very happy that they let customers in to try the new things because Usually I stick with the one thing I like because I am not sure if I would like some thing different or not but this visit let me expand my choices or favorite I would get from here.

Very service-oriented establishment-- such a great emphasis on delivering satisfaction on a real personal level. The fish was excellent, unusual vegetable that day (a chickpea melange), and fantastic corn chowder. Steaks and burgers here as good as the fish. Also pleased with the beer selection: had a fine farmhouse ale special served to me as if it were wine. For seafood close to home-- this is now the place for me to go.

We went on their first Saturday open and were very pleased with the experience. The wait time for a table was minimal and the staff was sure to check in on us and offer us drinks while we waited. The food and the service were consistently great throughout our visit! Looking forward to returning.

i have been there for so many times. for the food i will give a five star, but the service no. me and my girl friend went the for dinner about 4:30. it wasnt busy at that time. the hoster put us on the table in the middle where the next table with a lot of kids . we want to have nice private talk, so i ask her f we can change to the table next to the window. she told me that i have towait for couple minutes for that table . i said ok, then again she said that table is only for 6 peoples ... which i am very understand if is on the weekend they need the table for more people to sit in, but its weekday and is not busy at that time. her face just look so annoing. so we just decide to stay there. however, about 5 to 10 mins they put 2 people in the table that we want to sit at. so i ask for a manager, but no one come within the whole meal .....pretty disappont it ...

I dined at Bonefish Grill for the first time while visiting family near Baltimore, and LOVED IT. The food was great (I had the Forbidden chicken - delicious), but the SERVICE was OUTSTANDING. Veronique was our server, and she was patient, humorous, informative, and attentive to our party ( and we had a few diners who I personally would have hated to wait on if I was a server). The bang-bang shrimp was a highlight, and the coconut pie was a great ending.

Well so much for a celebratory dinner. Not only did our food fall short of expectations, but so did the service by both our waiter and the manager. We started with wine at the bar. Bartender was very nice and welcoming. We did not have to flag her down to get her to notice us. Then we were seated in the bar area at the high booth table. It was nice. Was able to watch some of the Maryland game. Waitress, Samantha, came to table fairly quickly, but was a little standoffish. Maybe she was tired. I m not sure but it showed. We started with a bottle of wine, since my friend had finished the glass obtained at the bar. And mussels. Mussels came out by another server. Still no wine. No water either. And no bread. Bread is a must with mussels as it is all about the broth. Finally after my friend screams Samantha across the restaurant she comes with the wine. I politely requested bread. After she pours the wine I could tell she had forgot about the bread and so I asked again. "You want bread?" Ahhhh yeah! My friend and I both ordered from the specials. My friend, filet and lobster duet (the filet mignon was a $6 upgrade). I ordered the salmon topped with gargonzola, sautéed spinach and bacon. But what we received was nothing like we expected. His filet was obviously not a filet. It was medium, to perfection , but tough as hell and square in shape. Really?! My salmon was SO dry it was the consistency of saw dust. It was horrid! Uneatable!!! By the time the waitress came back to us I had eaten all my veggies and my friend his lobster. We explained our discontent. Samantha explain to us that they use press to cook the steak quickly. Which makes no sense who in their right mind would smash filet mignon. And smashing it would not change its consistency. It was so tough! Plus it was medium rare. Thus what is there to speed up??? Then Samantha informs us that "they don't do steak well, but their fish is the best there is!" REALLY? I just told you that my salmon, one if the easiest fish to cook, is dry dry dry and tasteless. Salmon is naturally fatty so why is this so damn dry? Samantha offered to get me another piece of salmon. "Would you like another one? It doesn't take long to cook." Hey that's my point!!!! Why was it cooked for hours!? Then comes the manager, Steve I think. Just to repeat every thing that Samantha with tude had already stated. Useless. After all that we wait for the bill and wait and wait! Samantha and her attitude brings the bill and tells us that our mussels are on her. Big whoop! Thanks for the $7 pick up! Been to the bonefish in DC and Annapolis. The food and service in those locations are night and day difference. I may visit Bonefish, but never again will I do the one in Crofton/Gambrills. EPIC FAIL!!!!
