Came in for lunch. Service was quick and friendly. Unfortunately the food left a lot to be desired. I had the chicken kebabs with rice pilaf and a Greek salad. Portion sizes were small for the price and my entire meal was under seasoned. Their Greek dressing tasted like mostly oil and was again under seasoned. My girlfriend had the chicken roll ups and was disappointed to find overcooked and under seasoned chicken with a meager portion of caramelized onions tomatoes and feta inside. The salsa served on the side tasted like it came from a jar and the potato salad she had as a side seemed like it was tossed with olive oil and scallions and no salt or pepper. Overall a disappointing meal. Would not recommend and will not be returning.

This is my second time visiting Zoe's Kitchen and I absolutely love the food and the service is awesome. The first time I visited this chain was in Ashburn VA. Today we decided to have lunch with my friend in the Kent lands MD and it was fantastic. The food is better than any casual restaurant. They make everything with fresh ingredients, never fried or microwaved. The chocolate chip cookies are so good and can eat them everyday. My favorite thing was the steak and spinach roll ups yummy. The ambiance is very nice and the service is fast and friendly. It's conveniently located in the heart of Kentlands MD. I highly recommended if you love fresh healthy food. I love ZOES!!!

I have been to this location twice, both times have been a great experience. Management is great and the food is good as well. Very clean facility, specially the restroom.

Love the meal and friendly service we just had here! The spinach roll ups with chicken were really good and I loved the side of roasted veggies. There are some pretty healthy options for kids too. Portion sizes are perfect. Ambience is bright and upbeat. Can't wait to try some other meals.

Zoes Kitchen boasts that their Mediterranean cooking is a celebration of goodness. Ha, only if you are a first time Martian alien going for your first Earth meal. There are six other restaurants within a two block area and they all serve better food. There is no glowing Southern hospitality here. When I ordered I paid cash, but the counter person didn't offer me a receipt. A bad start for a bad lunch. I ordered a grilled sandwich, the Steak Stack, and it was too greasy to eat. You get a choice of several sides. I chose the roasted mixed veggies, also way to greasy to eat. After one bite I left all my order uneaten. Several tables were empty but with unpicked up used plates. Many plates had unfinished sandwiches or wraps that people had left uneaten. Drinks are from a serve yourself drink counter. The iced tea is tasteless. Interior décor and atmosphere is too industrial and mixed with poorly made kinder garden type pop art. The ambience is much too cheap and chintzy. This Zoes is not wheel chair access able. There are no handicapped parking spaces close to the entrance. Please go to another place close by within easy walking distance.

the general theme of Zoe's Kitchen is Greek meets Southern. now that i've been there a few times, i think i get the idea. when it comes right down to it, i'm your typical meat & potatoes midwestern dude. i'm a MI native. so it should be no surprise that my favorite entree is the greek chicken marinara. the orzo is simple and perfect at zoes. it's always moist and soft. it works great with the greek marinara they use. the grilled chicken they use can sometimes be a bit dry, but that's not very noticeable when blended with the other 2 elements of this dish. recently i discovered a new favorite here. the braised white beans. you read that right. white beans. flavorful and and quickly becoming a comfort food for me. i don't know what the seasoning is that they use. apparently it's guarded by the FBI or something, but i could eat these all day. a favorite at this restaurant is the kabobs. zoes offers chicken, steak, and shrimp. i think zoes has a small problem with cooking chicken, because the chicken on the kabobs tends to be a bit dry also. the steak on the other hand. oh.my .goodness. get this, every time. it's marinated and seasoned the way mother nature intended. it's hard not to enjoy it. to finish off the meal, they offer fresh-baked cookies and chocolate cake. my sweet tooth says "thank you!" the cookies are soft and chewy and the cake is wonderfully moist. the way dessert should be.

The food is delicious. I usually carry out, so my only feedback is that the front cashiers are somewhat distracted. Overall great addition to Kentlands!

Chicken kabobs with the rice and Greek salad. My favorite dish here so far. Great portions, food, staff and very well priced.

Chicken kabobs were dry and not much flavor. Going to Moby Dick next which is always consistently great.

Now, before you go to Zoe's, you should know this is a healthy eatery. They do their best to make it taste good, and in most cases they succeed. But don't be expecting the deliciousness of a bacon cheeseburger. That will not happen here. What IS delicious is the turkey reuben. Honestly, the majority of it was coleslaw, but there was enough turkey and cheese to make it taste amazing. The best thing here? I know you were going to guess hummus - that's second best. Best? Braised baked white beans. Omg. Delicious. So, so good. I've also had the kabobs here - the salmon and beef kabobs are pretty darn good. The beef comes marinated in a soy and brown sugar sauce. MMmmmmm. The shrimp and chicken kabobs were a bit dry when I tried them. Wasn't a huge fan of the quinoa. Had a weird citrusy taste, not incredibly flavorful. The spinach wraps (which they liken to a healthy spanakopita) are bland but taste pretty good when served with their salsa (which is the spiciest thing in the entire restaurant). Zoe's Kitchen isn't too pricey - a meal with a side and a drink will run you just over $10, which is the going rate in DC and this food is quality. I'm told Zoe's Kitchen has no fryers; everything is grilled or baked. Also, the staff are pretty nice. Every time they've served me, it's been with a smile. The place is clean and has mostly indoor and a little outdoor seating.

Decision made simple - get the steak kabobs. I've tried the steak, chicken, salmon, and shrimp kabobs and the steak stands out the most. It has a great marinade and the meat is really tender. The rest are a bit bland. *Tip - the menu doesnt reflect it, but if your ordering the kabobs, you can mix and match two different kinds!* They have some unique options for sides that include beans that have fresh rosemary, the coleslaw is made without mayo and has feta mixed in, and their quinoa salad (my fav) is mixed w cucumbers, tomatoes, and of course feta. Their staff is friendly and attentive and the restaurant is clean. It's worth coming to check out. They would have gotten more stars if there was another entree other than the steak kabobs that stood out to me.

Went to this Zoes again to pick up a yummy greek salad for lunch to go. The cashier Melissa, offered a free drink while I waited for my order. Another reason Zoes hospitality and good food will keep me coming back!

I recently won 2 free entrees to their new location in the Kentlands and who doesn't love free? This is located where the Cosi's used to be, but only half of the old Cosi's. The entrance faces the mattress store, not the parking lot. I took my friend there last night and we ordered the steak kabob and shrimp kabob. We both loved the steak kabob the best. The steak was juicy (although some pieces were too large and I should have cut it smaller before shoving it into my mouth, causing me to chewing it for ages) and I loved the sides (vegetables and potatoes). The shrimp kabob was alright, but my friend disliked the amount of spices on the zucchini and shrimp. The Greek salad was nothing special, but the rice was very savory. Everyone was super nice, and I will visit again whenever I'm craving some kabobs or Mediterrean food!

One of my new favorite place to eat for fresh Mediterranean food. I came here for a Yelp event. All of their kabobs are wonderful and fresh. My favorite is the beef kabobs and their quinoa. The pasta is so fresh with fresh ingredients. I love Basils and that's what they use. The chocolate cake is like your grandma's homemade brownies on a cold winter night. All I need is a cold glass of milk and it will take me back to childhood. If you want to eat good fresh food that is not only delicious, but good for you, then come in and dine here. All their food are made fresh when you order it. I hope to run into you soon.

Service was good and the places looked clean, I just was not impressed with the chicken salad sandwich. It was fresh, just did not have much flavor to me. I will try it one more time for the kebabs, I hear they're great.

I have been to Zoe's a few times and it isn't bad. The best thing about this place is the staff. They are really cool, helpful people. I usually order the steak kabobs with rice and potatoes. The steak is always cooked perfectly and very tender...more on flavor in a bit. I have no complaints about the rice, yet if you are into traditional uncle bens type rice, it won't impress you. The thing I can't stand is the way everything is seasoned. The steak has this teriyaki type sauce on it. Considering how Zoe's is marketed as "Mediterranean," I'm confused as to what part of the med they use that very asian sauce. Something about it makes the meat taste like it's 3 days old. Furthermore, the potatoes have so much lemon that they are sour. The worst part of any experience at Zoe's is the price. Everything is way too expensive, so unless I have a coupon, I just don't come here. Worth a try but nothing special.

Steak a fork in me! I mean steak steak. I can't stop thinking about the steak!! I was able to sample the chicken, salmon, shrimp, and veggie kabobs, but none hold up to the steak. I tried the Zoes at Patomac Park when they opened a few years back and it was pretty forgettable. I'm assuming based on my history or ordering, I probably got the chicken, which, even tonight, was nothing special, and actually was pretty bland - thankfully I had some red pepper and basil pesto hummus (or is it hummuses, hummae) to add some flavor. YOU MUST TRY THE STEAK! It's almost $3 more than the chicken, which seems like a lot, but it's the way to go. The veggies were awesome, grilled zucchini, tomatoes, onions and bell peppers. Everything is made in house (even their dressings) and you can taste the fresh, whole foods. The quinoa salad was good, though I've had better. It was served cool with veggies, and feta. The orzo salad, also cold, was really light and yummy, with cucumber and parsley. The spinach roll-ups were their take on spanakopita which was a major misfire for them. They serve it with salsa instead of a Mediterranean sauce such as tzatziki which, in my opinion, would have enhanced this taquito looking snack. The braised white beans are worth a try. The cookies are good, but nothing to go crazy over, they're better than the chocolate cake. Everything seems really fresh and a great healthy option. Come for the steak, it's worth the trip!

Had never been here before but randomly went with the family last night for supper after shopping next door at Lowe's. My three picky eater children put up some resistance to trying it, but they all left saying it was awesome! I thought it was great too. Clean building and friendly staff! We'll be back.

We went there Friday for lunch. It was really good. The steak kabobs were tasty and the servers were nice. The cookies were huge and chocolatey. My daughter loved her quesadilla with fruit cup. It is a nice place for moms to go after playdates.

I've been to the Zoes Kitchen in Potomac several times. They're consistent with most of their dishes. This was the first time carrying out from Zoes Kitchen in the Kentlands. The pasta salad was good, but the chicken orzo soup seemed like it was sitting for a long period of time in a pot. The orzo was mushy and there was a few bits of chicken inside. The worst of all I felt nauseous after eating my Greuben sandwich and my wife found a small fly in the lettuce of her grilled turkey sandwich. I'm still feeling ill as of today. We hope this Zoes catches up to the Zoes in Potomac.

Okay, so I've been here twice now. Customer service and quality food are of the utmost importance to me and so when I receive it, I have to share my experience and praise these companies for a job well done! I got there last night around 8:30 and they were closing at 9:00. Things had slowed down and just myself and one other customer were there. Because they cook the food to order, and it was near closing, the food took a little longer than usual but I wasn't bothered. We waited patiently and chatted with the friendly and all smiling staff. They ended up offering us free drinks, hummus and pita chips for the extended wait. They also made sure the food was cooked to our liking by offering us to sample before wrapping things up. It's things like this that set business apart from others. This spot is on my recommendation list for good food and even better service. And the food is GOOD!! You will not be disappointed!

Attended a meeting catered by Zoe's. Favorites from the group included the rice, salad and shrimp skewers. Definite weak link was the chocolate cake.

I got the salmon Kabob. I enjoyed it. It came with a salad, pita and hummus. The price was 11.79 which I thought was very reasonable. My son got the chicken salad with a choice of a side. We would both go there again.
