Went for second time today with my family. Service was excellent! All the food came out in a timely manner and it was all delicious. Our waiter was very attentive and helpful with the menu. Hopefully the place will last!

Lots of TV's and good happy hour prices on food & drinks.

Came in for happy hour on V-day for the first time, and was excited for the happy hour specials. Even bigger plus for having Stella on tap. Although I didn't have food that first visit, I did enjoy the ambience. What you would expect for a sports bar type environment. TV's easily visible, a nice hustle and bustle of social activity. My bartender, Jess, was very attentive, knowledgeable, and a joy to talk to! Although I didn't stay for very long I would definitely come back to see her again! I visited Largents shortly after on the following Tuesday. This time I did have food (margarita pizza and a onion soup). Both were pretty good. The only real knock I have would be that the water tasted a little off.

Largent's Restaurant & Bar is my new favorite place in the Kentlands. Matt Largent has vastly improved the layout and look of the space, with the main bar now moved upstairs to the second level. There you will find bands, comedians and other entertainment. On the main level, you have a terrific family-friendly restaurant with excellent food. The Nachos Supreme, are, well..supreme. Love the Buffalo Wings, Steak Ciabatta sandwich, Fire & Spice pasta, New York Strip (some of the best garlic mashed potatoes I've ever had)...I'm getting hungry writing this! My wife likes the Brandy Beef Tips, daughter had the Potato Crusted Salmon, delicious. Located near the movie theatre, it's an ideal place for drinks with friends or dinner before a movie. Highly recommended!

Excellent beer selection. Outside seating is a big plus. Our lunch was very good and service was also very good. We love this place for happy our and it is now on the lunch rotation as well. Dinner will be next.

We went on a Tuesday night and had good service and great food. All the food waas good and the kids meals were reasonably priced. We will definitely be back.

We decided to try this place after we had heard mixed reviews. We arrived around 6 PM and the place was dead. We were one of like 5 tables in the entire place. Our waiter had one other table. We ordered the kids meal for our son right when we got there along with our beverages. My son's food came quick, which was great. Our beverages seemed to get lost for about 45 minutes and then our waiter told us that there was a computer issue and our drinks would be right out. This was the first time he came back to our table since we had originally made the order. At this point we ordered dinner. After we had been there for about an hour and 15 minutes we finally got our drinks, one glass of wine and one pint of beer. After we had been there for two hours I inquired where our food was. Again, the waiter said "Oh we have had computer issues". At this point that wasn't a great response. We were tired and slightly pissed off. When our food FINALLY came out my husband's order was wrong (the meal provided was cheaper than the one originally ordered but the bill had the more expensive price) and my chicken was dry and seemed like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for 12 hours. My son was literally screaming and trying to tear the TV in our booth off the wall because he was at his limit as far as sitting still. In short, the three hour dining experience was nothing short of horrible.

Okay love the location love the selection but some times the service is hit or miss I have walked out twice because I have waited 15 mins or more and no one came to greet me once I was even sitting at the bar but the service on karaoke night is great chris is awesome very friendly quick to serve and always has good recommendation on what to drink.

I really, really want to like this place. It's convenient, and exactly the type of place I usually like. Been here twice now - once for dinner with a dozen people upstairs, once for lunch downstairs. The upstairs and downstairs are pretty much run separately - downstairs takes reservations is is family restaurant-like. Upstairs is more bar like, tons of tvs, decent vibe. The service was mediocre at best. I can let some things go, but too many glitches add up quickly. Upstairs, I needed to combine a few tables for a large group, and the server seemed uninterested in helping me. We had to flag her down multiple times for drinks or to order - most people in the party would have drank more if she was available. Service was very slow - took forever for food and drinks to arrive. Downstairs same problem with food and drinks taking forever (at lunch time, while the place was empty). I ordered a beer and it wasn't available. I picked another, and IT wasn't available. Finally by my 5th choice, they had it. My salad came without dressing. My lunch came without the side I ordered. The food is fine. Nothing special, but no complaints. As to be expected from an average type pub. The place has a great feel to it, but the service REALLY needs to improve. I don't think that for the most part it is the individual server's faults, but the training overall. They just all seem like they're brand new. Not rude or difficult, just a little clueless.

Ordered burger, the salmon BLT, a beer, and iced tea. Iced tea tastes like coffee, they brought the wrong beer, the rare burger was medium well, and the salmon was bland and overcooked. But hey the waitress was nice. Never going back.

I really WANT to like this place. It's 5 minutes from my house and it's the closest bar to us. However, each time we've gone, it's just been a "Meh" experience. This time, when we arrived and went to the hostess stand, we said we were thinking of sitting upstairs in the bar area. They told us to go on up & get a table. We went up to find that the upstairs was closed for a private party. When we went back down to the hostess stand and told them that, the hostess said, "Oh yeah, there is a private party up there". DUH. Why didn't you tell us that before we went up there? The food was alright - I had the salmon BLT sandwich and it was not bad. My bro-in-law had the chicken tenders and he said they were awful. He normally clears his plate when we go out to eat and he only ate his fries and left most of the chicken untouched. I think all of the food is priced a few dollars too high. Our server was pretty slow at refilling beverages - luckily they come in HUGE cups and we were able to share waters since I was with my family! I'll probably give this place one more try, as long as I can be seated in the upstairs bar area.

I came in on valentines day, they didn't have two of the beers that I was interested in. The bartender Jessica helped me pick out some other options. She opened my beer pallet to different type beers and I appreciate that. She was awesome and very knowledgeable on her beers.

Decided to give the local Kentlands restaurant a try after delaying the opening for several months. Went on a Wednesday, 2 days after opening. Thought the kids menu had a decent selection at a good price. My son had the pizza and said it was okay. I had the fish tacos and thought they were very good for the price. Did wait almost 10 minutes before anyone came by our table. Once a waitress got there, great service. Love how all the booths have TVs. Also like what they have done with the place overall with bathrooms downstairs!!! Finally. Checked out the upstairs and was packed. Would definitely go back again.

Two stars for the waitress, who was very nice and attentive. The food is bad. Really bad. I ordered the fish tacos and the fish had an incredibly strong odor. Tried one bite and gave up. My husband's ribs were tough and inedible as well. Finally, the fries were cooked in rancid oil. It's a shame because we were treated very well by the waitstaff. Fire the cook immediately.

  • O O.

I'd probably give the place 3.5 stars. Pretty good but nothing out of this world. I had the fish and chips, which I actually liked a lot more than McGinty's version (they are so heavy!) and the fries were great. Did not order alcohol, so can't speak for that. So, over-all, the food was pretty good, though typical Americana. In terms of ambiance ... I don't hang out in Kentlands too often, so maybe it's like this everywhere, but it was a little dead. Practically no one in the place and it was obviously newly renovated because it smelled a bit like paint. But the lack of other patrons was kind of nice because it was quiet and I could actually hear my conversation partner. If you're hungry, in Kentlands, and don't feel like spending too much time looking for a place, Largent's is a pretty good stop.

Definitely a work in progress. My husband was excited to try this new restaurant that opened in the Kentlands neighborhood so we went to check it out tonight. He would have given this review 1 star due to the fact that his burger was so-so, the kitchen ran out of ketchup, there was a 30 minute wait, and there was no presence of a manager on opening weekend to greet customers. I understand that there would be kinks to work out such as the waiting period, however, I was surprised that they ran out of some items on the menu :( Especially the crab cakes that I wanted to try. On a positive note, the staff was very friendly and they quickly fixed our bill where there was a computer glitch issue that was occurring. My husband got the Chorizo Burger which he thought was so-so. My Fried Chicken Mac & Cheese was alright, it tasted much better with a side of dipping sauce. The menu said cheddar and chives mac & cheese, however I noticed that they must have ran out because my mac & cheese was a plain white sauce. Since this was opening weekend I will give them a break, but definitely come out in the next couple months to try the crab cakes that I hear are a big hit.

So I have been on a search for Mussels that stand up to the competition of those found at beach towns such as Rehobeth or Ocean City. I continue to find them mature, chewy and tasting kind of 'fishy' which is my cue that they could be fresher. Until now. While waiting for my guests, coming in from Baltimore, with whom I planned to have dinner, I decided to try the Mussel appetizer at Largents even tho I did not get anything close to a thumbs up from my server. Maybe because of their size. Wow, all I can say is they are unbelievably tender and fresh. They are tiny, which is fine with me if I get sweet and tender. There were about 30 to the order for $11.00, accompanied by delicious long triangular breads which absorbed the essence of the garlic, lemon butter sauce with ease. This rating would be a 4 plus if it weren't for having to nudge for service issues, such as more water, clean napkin and my bill. PS. The individual screen at the booth, I used for Pandora, but one can view golf or some other sport. Personal volume and channel controls are set into the wall next to your screen. Desserts, btw, are made in house, but that is another story.

Came by on 3/24 for the new Monday night poker game. They had happy hour specials on food and drinks. The poker game run by Stars and Bars was lively and friendly to new players. My server, was great never letting me go long with out checking if i needed anything, and he tracked me when i moved over to the poker table. The Pork Tacos were fantastic !

I'm a big fan of this place. Excellent beer selection, and great food. All around, a great experience. Nice decor, good service, and the TV at the booth is great for keeping the kids sitting still while the adults enjoy a nice meal. We'll be coming back regularly. The pretzel sticks and house made beer-battered chicken tenders are a great appetizer. The grass-fed beef burgers are excellent as well. Give it a try, I'm glad I did.

Loved it! We purchased a discount voucher online and headed out to give the "new kid on the block" a try. It is a terrific new and much needed addition to the Kentlands area of Gaithersburg. My husband and I went for a late lunch during the week a few weeks ago. We were greeted 1st by the clean, simple, but attractive decor- a bit of an upscale Sports Bar feel --and next by a friendly gentleman who was doubling as bartender and waiter. I wish I could remember his name -- as he was welcoming, friendly and very patient as we asked a ton of questions. He's also a good salesman - told us many things about the restaurant --its offerings and activities -- including telling us about the booths with their own private flat screen TVs that customers can reserve. My husband ordered one of his favorite meals -- fish and chips---and I took a chance on a salad with all sorts of unusual goodies and took a chance by opting for the addition of grilled salmon. Both were dangerous orders -- my husband orders fish and chips often and in many places -- some get a thumbs up, some a thumbs down - and some a "remind me never to order fish and chips here again".(sometimes it's a let's never come here again) BUT-- Langert's got a rousing thumbs up --and that in itself is an accomplishment -- and he rated the fried very highly (and fries are one of his favorite foods so he is quite discriminating!) . My choice of grilled salmon with my salad was chancey because I have learned to stay away from it -having been disappointed too many times. WooHoo- no disappointment this time -- the salmon was easily seasoned (not too much, not too little) -- and cooked perfectly -- not a dried out morsel anywhere! It was a really good lunch -- nothing fancy -- but we weren't looking for fancy! And here's the kicker--we liked it so much--we went home to see if the discount voucher was still available so we could plan another low-cost visit! And it was, and we are planning to return! And yes--we would return with or without the discount -- but as long as it' was available - why not double the pleasure of Largent's for lunch (or other times)!

My prior review was not favorable and I did not expect to return. However, I was convinced. And, the service was much better, and the food (tacos/wings) were quite good. They do need to update their draft beer listing. It took 6 selections before they had it on tap. Update it now!

I was there last night with my parents who were visiting from out of town. We showed up around dinner time so there weren't any seats on the main floor. The hostess offered us seating outside but it looked like the sky could open up at any moment. We ended up sitting in the upstairs bar. The waitress was super nice but it seemed like she was covering a lot of tables and kept having to run downstairs to get things. I ordered an iced tea but she said that they don't have ice tea in the upstairs bar so she had to get from main level. Well... It turns out they ran out of Iced tea. How does a restaurant bar run out of iced tea at 730 on a Friday night?!?! Food was good but service is slow. I think it is the fact that the servers keep having to run to main level to get food etc. That can't be efficient for business. This is the 3rd time I have been here and service just gets slower and slower. There has to be a better solution. I recommend the chicken tenders. They are outstanding and a good portion size.

I was there a few months ago when they first opened and it was not a good experience. I decided to try it again on Friday, May 16th. Some friends and I went to the upstairs bar to hear the DJ. The music was good and he was playing good stuff. However, at the bar it was a different story. It took about 20 or minutes to try to get a drink. The bartenders were not serving our side of the bar. The drinks were completely watered down. We stayed for about an hour and decided to leave after not being able to get drinks and they were watered down. Don't think I will go back to this place. If I do I will make sure to have my own drinks before I come. Because obviously the bartenders aren't skilled enough to help everyone. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone that is looking to have a few good drinks and get good service. The service sucked.

Ate here tonight and got say was very disappointed. The only good thing about the experience was the Supreme Nachos. But with that being said there were 3 in our party and we had to shove the plate back and forth b/c we never got the plates that we asked for. Service was terrible!!

Came to see the band and have dinner/drinks. Sat at the downstairs bar for dinner. Nice atmosphere, very attentive service, good drink selection, and great food. Food came out quickly. Crab dip was hot and delicious. Salmon on salad and cod sandwich also very tasty. Upstairs bar was very busy, lots of patrons -- definitely a good sign -- and the band had the dance floor packed. Enjoyed it and will be back!

Mediocre food worse service. Had the ribs - there are many better local choices. The service was painfully inattentive. Everything took forever on an uncrowded Sunday night. No check back for drink refills. A long wait to get to pay the check. Slow to respond to requests. You can do better.

If I could give a negative rating, I would! Bad, Bad, Bad, Bad, Bad!!! I drove by tonight and to my surprise we noticed a new place that looked really cute. The menu looked great. Lots of selections. The restaurant was clean. Smelled brand new. Flat screens at each booth. I thought. this couldn't be bad. Hmmmm! It wasn't bad. It was horrible! It took them 55 mins to get our hamburger and fish & chips order to us after we ordered it! In a empty restaurant. Then when it showed up my fish and chips looked like over fried Mrs. Paul's fish sticks! They were tiny and completely over fried! Almost burnt! I asked for tater tots. (they charged 1.49 extra for those. Didn't get them. Instead I I got some really oily, greasy, soggy fries that were not fit to eat. The hamburger was ordered medium rare. It showed up well done. The server, Janek informed us that they were having problems with their computer printer and that the orders were not making it to the kitchen. That was 30 mins into our wait for our dinner. It took and additional 25 mins for us to get our food. I informed the server Janek of my dis-satisfaction. He seemed to sympathize with me, but did nothing about it. He was too busy hanging out with his friends/ co-workers in a booth in the corner drinking beers. Did not seem to be the least bit interested that he was there to make money. Let alone serve guest in the restaurant he worked in. You know, I'm a really good tipper! Not one time did a manager come to our table to try to rectify the situation. Absolutely nothing was done. Not even a "I'm sorry"! Wow!!! I am speechless! When I asked Janek about the printer problem, and suggested a way to fix it. He replied to me that it could have been something the kitchen staff had made up and told him as to why our food took so long... Really!?!? Sad! Very Sad! And where were all the managers????? Even one manager? What a joke!!! Befuddled! Won't be back! Won't ever recommend this place to anyone!

I went here for the first time two weeks ago despite the mixed reviews. The food was really good. I had the sliders which were absolutely awesome! I also had the mac n cheese with chicken tenders which was also awesome! The only drawback was our mixed drink. We ordered a pitcher of one of the mixed drinks for the table and it was really weak. So much so that we asked them to remake it. Besides that service was fine and the food was good. I will definitely go back.

Tonight, I dined at Largent's for the first time. I found the restaurant via a Google search. Despite some of the Yelp reviews, the food and service was great. I had the Angel Fresca sandwich with Tater Tots and my date had the Ribeye. We both enjoyed our entrees and the level of customer service. I would definitely go back.

Largents opened recently and I've already eaten there 3 times! Finally a large, casual family friendly restaurant with a nice atmosphere and lots of TVs. The downstairs area has an upscale diner feel.. while the upstairs is large sports bar but with lots of tables so you can enjoy some food with your drinks. The best part is the food... all the food is made fresh (no heated up frozen stuff). I met the head chef and he is really passionate about providing fresh, home cooked food at reasonable prices. So far I have tasted the chicken tenders, sliders, salmon salad, spinach dip, hummus, french onion soup, crab soup and beef tips. Their burgers are awesome, made with fresh grass fed beef (the only kind I'll eat). The chicken tenders had a light batter that tastes so much better then the standard over fried tenders served by most restaurants. Also the best french onion soup that I've had in a while.. it tasted homemade and not over salty. The drink prices are good ($4-6 beer and wine) with $2 off on happy hour. With happy hour going til 7 on Friday night, that's a good deal! My husband and I went on Friday, Feb 14 and it was packed. Since they just opened I don't think the restaurant expected such a big crowd, but people were ready to get out after the snow storm. At 6:30 we got a table right away upstairs (30 minute wait downstairs).. for a Friday night that is great. We got our drinks pretty quickly but our food took a while. But again, they were packed so I'm sure they will work out the kinks in the next few weeks. The servers were all very nice and I could tell they were working very hard to handle the mad rush of customers. I will definitely go back.. nice atmosphere, good food and good prices.

Place just started in the center of the Kentlands retail/restaurant neighborhood, just down the block from the movie theater. They have remodeled extensively from prior tenants, most notably moving the bathrooms down to the main level. Tons of TVs all over, some in the booths themselves which creeped me out a bit, but some folks seemed to like them. Service was decent if uneven, it took a long time to get a basic soup order brought out and our server seemed really inexperienced. The staff did have a good attitude and seemed eager to please, so we'll give them some time to get it together. Food was also uneven, onion soup was fine but crab soup was thin and would have been flavorless but for the heap of Old Bay added at the end. My wife liked her French dip sandwich, but I don't think the kitchen had any idea how to make a Reuben, as mine was barely edible. We'll give them another look in a couple of weeks, right now they can buy a fair amount of forgiveness with their positive attitude and a $2 happy hour draft beer. I wish them luck, and I'll be back next month to see how they're doing.

Deadsville on a Sunday at 1:30 PM. Bottled beer wasn't cold. Burgers were average. Entree of Beef Tips had a small portion of meat. After stating we were done, waited 15 minutes to get our bill. Nonstop Pop Country music the entire time we were there. Live in the neighborhood but won't be back.

Largent's is brand new here in the Kentlands and it definitely has quite a few kinks to work out. However, the restaurant has lots of potential! First off, let me say that the food was really quite good and fresh. We had nachos, 2 kids meals (mac & cheese and kids' sliders) and a ciabatta sandwich and burger. We had no complaints at all about food and drinks. Second, the decor is bright, clean and modern, which was a much needed change from previous restaurants in the same location. About half of the booths have TVs set up so that is nice if you have young kids or want to watch a game but there are also TVs mounted on all the walls. Where this place needs ALOT of help is the service and speed of service. I recognize we went on "opening" weekend but it seemed as though they bit off more than they can chew. We checked in at 6:15 and were seated by 6:45 (which is fine because we were told it was a 30 minute wait). By the time we got our entrees it was 8:15. It seemed as though the kitchen was overwhelmed with orders from downstairs and upstairs. Also, our waiter, while a nice guy, seemed to be lost in the chaos as well and forgot to take our orders after taking our kids' order. This was not an issue that was just specific to our table but everyone around us was waiting and waiting and waiting. In fact, I saw one group of 4 adults and a child get up and leave after they only got their appetizer (and they were seated about 10 minutes before us). We watched tables around us leave after paying their bill and the tables were cleaned 15-20 minutes later, all while many people waited in the front to be seated. Like I said, the food we had was quite good. After a month or so of working out their service and timeliness issues I do think they will be a neighborhood favorite.

Finally had a chance to try Largents. There were six of us for dinner and drinks. We went upstairs and the friendly staff set us up at a table the near the large windows looking down on the main street. I ordered a pitcher of the Summer Eclipse for the table. My wife ordered a Lakelandtini. We also ordered some house wines. The drinks were excellent. Everyone tried the Summer Eclipse and long story short we ordered two more pitchers. For appetizers we had the spinach dip with tortilla chips and two orders of the Butcher Block Sliders. The spinach dip was very good but the sliders were the best I have ever had. They were so good we placed one more order. Our table also ordered the carribean mahi-mahi, a reuben, the scallops and hash, a big tex burger and a sesame salmon salad. All were excellent. The service was outstanding as well. A band was playing on the other side of the bar and they were good!. Not too loud either. It seems that any problems this place had early on (I read the early reviews) have been ironed out. We were all very impressed with Largent's and we will definitely be going back.

So wanted to like this place but it was meh and I won't be returning on my own volition. My family of four with two young kids went there for lunch on a Saturday with another family of four. The restaurant was about a third full on the main level but there was a big party on the top floor. They did a real nice job renovating and the space looks great with TVs everywhere, similar to Green Turtle. Service was friendly but utterly dysfunctional with our food taking about 25 minutes to come out and our waiter disappearing for long stretches. There was staff everywhere but they seemed unfocused. To be fair it might still be opening-related kinks that need to be ironed out. The food was hit or miss. They have a great grill menu which is reasonably priced and good choices on the kids menu as well. The food, though, was very hit or miss: My Caesar salad, chicken tenders and fries were all very bland. Not bad but not great flavor. The kids liked their meals and the accompanying tater tots were very good (daddy tax). My wife said her salmon was dry, while the other couple we were with had an entree salad and fish tacos. They liked the fish tacos but the salad didn't come with the steak it was supposed to have which came five minutes later. All in all it was an okay experience but one can do better at Not Your Average Joe's or Dogfish for similar types of food at similar price points.

We live in the neighborhood, have visited twice since the opening, once during the first week, and a follow-up visit two weeks later. Our impression after our first visit was that, all things considered, our meal and experience were good, but after our second visit, the lack of improvement over opening-week issues makes us hesitant to return. Addressing the positives first, service is pleasant, and atmosphere is warm and inviting (the upstairs bar, at a glance, seems like an excellent place to watch a game). Turning to the negatives, the main issue appears to be inconsistency among menu items and in between visits--during the first visit, the crab cake sliders were fresh and meaty, but second time they were mostly bun with soggy, shredded (rather than lumpy) texture. The burgers are hand-formed, which is a positive, but don't hold together well. The corned beef on the reuben was tough and flavorless. On the first visit, they clearly had issues managing the crowd--for instance, guests who were waiting for tables ended up hovering over dining tables, and they were clearly struggling to expedite service as some food came out cold. Also, for both visits, they have not been offering a dessert menu, which is a disappointment. All in all, the place still seems promising for a very casual, appetizers-and-drinks place, but given that a main competitor in the neighborhood, Not Your Average Joe's, is well-loved and always packed (even though it has some consistency problems as well), I really hope they take to heart reviews like these and try to improve their consistency in food quality.

We were there last night, Friday night, 3 weeks after opening and had a drink at the bar before being seated at a nice booth in less than the time they said it would take (said it would take 20 minutes and we were seated in 10 minutes). They didn't have my favorite beer (flying dog raging bitch-please get this) but did have another flying dog lager. Once we were seated, we shared chicken wings which were good (didn't love the blue cheese dressing but it was fine, just a little blah), and then I had the potato encrusted salmon which was delicious with a nice sauce over a bed of rice. Everything was slow service wise which we expected from the other reviews, but we felt it was the kitchen and not the server because the food was hot when we got it. My husband said the fish of the fish and chips was good, but the fries were in little pieces. The other couple we were with had the Brandy Beef Tips (she said it was good but too much pasta) and a burger which he said was good. We went upstairs after dinner and it was packed, and a much nicer and warmer space than it had been. The band was just setting up, so we didn't hear them. I think this place is going to be an excellent neighborhood place if they could work on the kitchen getting the food out promptly and also, really refining each dish so it is sumptuous instead of just good or very good. Definitely the best of the other places that have filled this spot over the years.

Scratch one curse off the list! There are many famous curses: 1. The Curse of the Hope Diamond 2. The curse of King (Tut)Tutankhamun 3. The Curse of the Billy Goat (Chicago Cubs fans are very familiar here!) One curse you don't know much about, unless you live in the 20878 is... The Curse of 654 Centerpoint Way...one soon to be forgotten! This address, once affiliated with such sub par places as, "The Last Mango," "Tony and James, " "44 Sports Bar and Grill, " and don't forget the "Zodiac grill,"... ...Is now tied to such names as, "Food Wine and Co., Butterfield 9, and Maestro!" I'm talking about a real chef, Michael Harr, with serious skills and a guy who knows how to run a great restaurant! I am a huge fan of Food, Wine and Co., in Bethesda, the brain child of Largent's new owner/chef. What he did there, he is bringing to The Kentlands. One look at the menu and you will see many of your favorites from Harr's old haunts. You can get burgers different ways (truffle, vegetarian, salmon BLT, Lamb...all imaginative and exceptional), crab cakes, roasted edamame, tuna tartar (made with--coriander, pickled cucumber, sesame, crispy quinoa and avocado; this is not your run of the mill tartar!), steak, mussels, chicken, pasta, creative sides...I can't do the menu justice, so check it out yourself. The only thing similar to the old menu, is they both say "Largents" on them! On top of the solid food and menu, the service is top notch and the prices are great for the quality...In other words, it's a good value for delicious cooking and you don't have to get on 270 to enjoy it! I think we finally have a true culinary winner in our midst. When you pair this with the restaurants in Crown, and Cava, these places are really giving us less of a reason to drive far to eat excellent food! I'm excited to see the continued transformation of this space...and hopefully a name change that won't scare away those who don't know there's been a change. In other words; I'm rooting for this place to make it! I'm holding out my last star for a better wine list!...I think in time, we'll get that too:)

My friend showd me this spot. It's upstairs . They play great music and have food . I told my friend hey they have chicken wings here he said I tried it last time it was disgusting I said oh yeah chilli garlic does sound gross . I like buffalo wings but the bartender told me that the chicken wings are actually good . My friend said well if I don't like it will I get my money back she said of course I'm not going to charge you if you don't like it . So I ordered chicken tenders it come with chilli mayo but I asked her for honey mustard as we'll . So our food came out the chicken tenders was hot just the way I like it but the French fries we're just neutral . Chicken tenders we're a little salty but it was good and the chili mayo fantastic! My friend told me wow these chicken wings are better than last time so I told the bartender that he likes it better than last time . She said yeah we did some changes . (Hmm I wonder what kind of changes)I told my friend they probably have a different chef and fired the last chef . He said you're funny . I said this chef didn't rush the food . he said he liked the way they made the chicken wings . The way chicken wings we're placed and presented seemed like we was eating at high class . Kudos to you new chef whoever you are lol ! Also my drink was good gummy bears ! 1 star for the music 1 star to The food and 1 star for the drink . It is weird that I have never heard of this place . I think they need to work on advertising their place a little better . Because this place can get 4 or 5 stars

Came here because one of my coworkers held a fundraising brunch event. Was not very impressed. She had most of the top bar reserved for her event, and the servers said that there would be 3 of them serving all of us, but they were basically nowhere to be seen. The waiters were hovering over us before we had a chance to really figure out what we wanted to eat. When we finally did, we couldn't find a waiter for like 20 minutes. Food took forever to come out. Even though there was a group, we were one of the earlier people in the group (and there were probably only 20 people there at one point), but food took like 40 minutes to come out...Brunch food... I got the steak omlette, which was kind of disappointing. Nothing was seasoned in the slightest. The steak was bland and tough. Nothing in the omlette even had the slightest hint of salt or pepper. At least the potato hash was good/had pepper. Boyfriend got the breakfast frittata, which I thought actually wasn't bad. The chili had some decent flavor, except when you got towards the bottom it got a little salty. We also didn't like the giant glob of sour cream on top, but you can just request not to have the sour cream on top if you don't want it. I would recommend trying this. I was considering to get the egg in the middle, and instead another one of my coworkers got it. The idea sounded good, but it kind of looked disappointing too. It was a small piece of toast, with the middle of the bread cut out and an egg cooked inside. For basically $9, I don't think it was worth toast with egg, some pico de gallo, tiny bit of guac and sour cream. I can make this at home for super cheap. I'm sure it tastes decent, but just didn't seem worth it to me. Overall - expensive brunch for subpar food. Wouldn't really come here for brunch. Maybe for happy hour or some event or something if someone was hosting there sometime.

Business closed its doors abruptly this past week. Sad to see yet another restaurant/bar close at this cursed location.

3.75 stars. Food looks beautiful and I would like to go back and try other items on the menu. It was 9pm on a Wednesday. There was one person at the bar and four tables with families. I think Kids eat free on Wednesday. They have a special every day. I was impressed that they had 6 different wines as their house wine (even a Riesling!) I wanted a booth with a TV, but the only channels I could get were sports and Nick at Nite. It was cool flipping through the channels at first and turning the volume up and down. :) Looking at the menu It was difficult to decide. Not wanting anything carbonated and thinking it was too late for too much caffeine, I started with an Arnold Palmer. If you peruse the photos on Yelp, everything looks delicious. Even reading through the reviews did not help me decide. As I was dining alone but still wanted to try as many different dishes as I could, I thought I would order 2 appetizers and a sandwich. First the crab dip. It was very creamy and cheesy. The pita was soft. Nothing really special. It was good though. Next were the ribs. You get to choose between bbq or sweet thai chili which is what I chose. The ribs were fall off the bone tender and very flavorful. However, they were just warmed through but not hot. I'm not sure how they had been reheated. I had asked the server for help in choosing between the fried fish sandwich or the steak sandwich. I think if she had been a little bit more informed she could have told me it was a cheese steak. She did tell me that they cook the meat through and that some people find the sandwich greasy which should have been a dead giveaway for me. Not sure why I thought I was getting steak medallions. It was a good sandwich and it was greasy but there were plenty of mushrooms, grilled onions and cheese. The fries look like they were hand cut, however they were soggy instead of crunchy. They could have spent three to five more minutes in the fryer. Maybe I should have asked for them to be well done. Whatever you do you must save room for dessert! I am not a huge bread pudding fan because I don't like mushy bread, but the blueberry and pineapple bread pudding is out of this world. They use Brioche which they cube and intertwine with blueberries and caramelized pineapples. It is served with a caramel sauce they make with more caramelized pineapples. Dusted with powdered sugar this little dessert that can't be more than 4 ounces but is absolutely delightful. The top is browned and crisp with just enough crunch. I'm giving 3 and a half stars because the crab dip wasn't anything to write home about. The cheese steak is pretty good with lettuce tomato and a horseradish aioli. The spare ribs were tasty but reheated and not very hot. The server was very friendly but I think if she had said the sandwich was a cheese steak. I would have gotten the fish sandwich because I really wanted to try the Fuji Apple coleslaw. She does make a very good Arnold Palmer.

It is very hard to find a place with consistently good service and food in Montgomery County. However, I am happy that Largent fits the bill. I have been here several times and the service is always great and the food (very classic menu) is always good. The atmosphere isn't stuffy and its a good place for families or even for anyone just looking for a place to chill out and relax (which is what I've been looking for) and the prices are fair. My favorite part is their drinks! They have a great selection of wines and beers + their signature drinks are great. My new favorite is the baby blue cosmo. I really hope this place sticks around!

This restaurant was one of our favorites and we regularly ate there weekly or biweekly. Recently, however, they hired a new chef and drastically changed the menu. They got rid of old favorites their regular customers came to love, such as Cream of Crab Soup and Fire and Spice Pasta. Needless to say, we're no longer dining here. It's become a HUGE disappointment. Being from this area, I finally thought an owner found a restaurant that could exist at the "cursed corner" (where the restaurant is located in the Kentlands.) With the moronic changes that were made to the menu that is driving regulars away, I wouldn't be surprised if we see CLOSED next to Largent's name soon. What a shame. Also, don't pay attention to the pictures of the menu or downstairs on here. They've remodeled and it looks completely different. The bar also no longer makes the blue martini in the picture. Most of the drinks now only have bourbon in them.

Nestled in the center of the Kentlands (aka Driving Obstacle Course), Largent's is this specific location's newest reincarnation of a restaurant/bar. Apparently, the turnover has been high and success rate low at keeping a steady business in this particular spot. So, I figured I'd check it out while the doors were still open this time. A large restaurant with booth seating and individual TVs (can't eat without it!) take up a majority of the downstairs with a tiny, odd bar off to the side. I started out there, but quickly decided to check out the upstairs, bypassing the large elevator and following the noise up the stairs. Wow, it's a completely different scene up there with a long huge winding bar with plenty of stools and flat screens. It was pretty packed (and loud) with the Kentucky Derby having just ended. Their beer selection was above average with the usual domestic suspects mixed in with some good, local brews. I asked the bartender for a dinner recommendation and she quickly pointed out the fish tacos, something I hadn't enjoyed in quite awhile. Good choice. Three decent sized and filled tortillas soon showed up in front of me, each completely supported in what I can only describe as a "taco holder?" I'd never seen that before, but it was a great idea since all the ingredients stayed put. Well, that is until I dove into each one of them. I personally didn't care for pineapple/fruit mixed in with the fish, lettuce and sauce, but they were still pretty darn good, as were the fresh-cut fries. I could see stopping by again to try something else and enjoy another cold pint. Just stay around long enough for me to do so. 3.5 Stars.

Sadly Largent's misses the mark. Poor service and mediocre food define this neighborhood restaurant that is rarely busy. Hopes were high for this location after an attractive space build out. But poor management and inattentive service keep the Kentlands crowds visiting other neighborhood venues.

this upstairs bar is ok. Decent happy hour, cool music. Didn't try the food. Nice and bright up there though. Clean. Kentland in general is weird. Some dude kept touching me and saying he knew me. Then he decided I was someone who worked there that he is good friends with. Then he told the bartender he has never been there before. WTF? H-MO!

Things are seriously looking up at Largents! Stopped in for their 50% off Wednesday happy hour appetizers and got great service AND great food! Waiter was attentive and accommodating. Good was scrumptious and staff seemed happier. Definitely coming back very soon and hoping they extend that Wednesday Happy Hour promotion which will definitely be a draw for us! Thanks!

Awesome happy hour in the upstairs bar area! They offer half-price appetizers and drinks. I purchased three apps for our table and two pricier glasses of wine for myself - my bill was ~ $22. The hummus platter stood out - freshly made and served in a bell pepper. Delicious!

Went here and checked out the new menu. Tried two of my old favorites. The chicken tenders and the pretzel sticks. The pretzel sticks were as hot and tasty as even. I wasn't big on the new chicken tender recipe though. The strips are now smaller and taste like they are covered in breadcrumbs. The Blue Moon was as good as always!

Surprisingly good date night dinner! We decided to try Largent's on Saturday night with minimal expectations. Hubby's southwest chicken salad was good. The fish tacos I ordered were excellent, although much spicier than described. Yowza! Our waitress was attentive and efficient. The restaurant atmosphere is fine, but nothing special. If you are someone who finds dim lighting in restaurants annoying, you'll appreciate the brightly lit dining experience. Wanted something chocolatey for dessert and asked waitress for input. She tried to steer me toward the bread pudding, but I was focused on chocolate. I selected the molten lava cake. Should have paid attention to the waitress' comment that it was "the most frequently ordered." It was just average. Definitely room for improvement and not a place for a special occasion, but a solid choice for casual dinner with your date or family.

The service is extremely slow and the food is mediocre at best. The night we visited the main floor dining area was freezing. We had high hopes when they first opened, but this was our third time visiting and leaving disappointed.

Went for happy hour dinner. New menu! One of the best cheeseburgers I have had and great fries. The wings were awesome and a great deal at happy hour prices. If you havent gone to Largents lately, try it again.

My wife has been out on her motorcycle a few times and has stopped at Largents and loved it. So we went last night while out riding. We got the truffle burger and fries and split it. The hush puppies are great as well as the burger. Everything was spot on and we are very happy with this place. I hope they stay around as nothing ever lasts on that corner.

I've been to the past previous establishments and although it is better, it is not quite a 4/5 star place quite yet. I noticed reviews vary based on some great bar service to some not so great service. I can only account for my 3 times there, 1 downstairs for lunch with my 2 year old son and another 2 times with friends in the upstairs bar area. Let me first talk about my one time lunch experience. So I arrived with my son after his Yellow Balloon haircut (go to Ping btw, I know I'm plugging another business here) and we were hungry for a late lunch. We got in and it was pretty empty at the table dining areas but had a few afternoon bar patrons getting there drink on. We easily got seated and our waitress was great but it's easy when there's nobody in the restaurant. I'm curious to see how it is on a much busier night but I can only comment on my personal service. I ordered some basic dishes like crabcake sliders and grilled cheese for the kid. The sliders were 'ok'. I was hoping for some out of this world flavors but it was typical bar food. Maybe dinner would be better? Anyways, on food alone I would give it 2.5 stars as it is just average. I was a little disappointed but maybe I'll try something else later. At least our service was good, but then again we were the only customers. What I think is great is that they finally have a bathroom on the first floor!! You used to have to go all the way upstairs which was extremely annoying. Now, let's talk about upstairs. We went in a weekend night and seemed pretty popping. You get the usual Kentlands crowd of 35 and over (when I say over I'm talking in the 50s age group) which you always see at Tiki Bar on warm summer nights. Hey I actually fit into the younger spectrum of that crowd so I don't mind it at all. What that just tells you is that management is doing the right things to avoid bringing in the young trouble makers. So, that's good and bad... It's good that you vet out the youngins but then you get these older folks dressing like they are going to DC clubs! Guess this would be their equivalent to clubbing for old folks. The bar is super packed and almost impossible to get drinks fast unless you know the bartender. However, what's good is that they have other waiters and waitresses who can take your order and get it for you. Definitely a plus and a good thought by management. I know I'm not giving this place 4/5 stars but I may change that on my next visits if it gets better.

Downgraded. really need a good place in this spot, but largents is not it. Service has gone down since my last visit. Waitress offered me broccoli when I asked what vegetables they have a la carte. After I was done with my meal, she came by to tell me they are out of broccoli. Had the crab Louie salad, which was decent, and the firecracker shrimp, which was ok. After, my daughter and I wanted to get the apple crisp for dessert. After a few minutes, they came back to tell us they were out of apple crisp. Just disappointed... We really need a good place in this spot...

I just added a 5th star because they took my advice and added to the menu..This place is awesome its turning into my go to place for drinks, food , sports basicly everything I would want in a good bar the new menu is awsome I recommend the Lamb Burger or the Curry Mussels . They also make a mean orange crush and good HH prices ... the service has been amazing I def will return!

Largent's used to be a great, family friendly place. Since they renovated the downstairs this year, they have taken all the TV's out and it's very kid UNFRIENDLY. Michael, the owner, said he he took a survey and the residents wanted a more upscale atmosphere. LARGENT'S IS NO LONGER A KID FRIENDLY RESTAURANT!!!

The staff is average. Pretentious bartenders to be expected. Tho its a good plsce to see live.music upstairs, id never come eat here. The clientele is tje real problem, incredibly rude middle aged yuppies who think they can bully their way into taking your bar table and not having to wait when the upstairs is at capacity

Three stars (A-OK) describes the experience perfectly. The menu is very basic and I ordered fish and chips. My companion ordered fettuccine and we both got beer. The beer selection is ok, but the draft list is not up to date with the beers they actually offer. The server was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the waitress explained that my fish and chips got "sent to another table" and we had to wait extra long for our food. Which meant that my companion's dish looked like it had been sitting awhile (not good for alfredo) and mine was too hot to eat for awhile. The fries were great and the fish was good. The pasta was good. The environment was a bit odd with televisions at the tables. There was someone who appeared to be a manager or owner walking around checking on tables, but he didn't stop at ours. It was nice to see that he seemed genuinely interested in making sure people were having a good experience.

I can't comment on the food because I was nevered served. The service staff needs some serious help. Went inside on a slow lunch shift wandered to the bar never greeted. I was the only bar guest and when I asked the bartender about a beer she told me it was angry orchard..... It wasn't. She then told me she had to run some drinks and walked away leaving me to contemplate my selection. After over 5 minutes without her return I decided to try someplace else.

The good: 1) Very clean 2) Good service 3) The pretzel stick appetizer--giant soft pretzel logs--yes, please! 4) Kid-friendly (TVs at each table to keep the kiddos occupied) 5) good bar upstairs--buzzing for happy hour The bad: 1) Totally lacks ambiance 2) The food is just nothing special--do not order a salad--they are literally grocery store mixed lettuce with packaged shredded cheese--no thanks! The turkey burger was a little off--hard to identify what didn't work.

I had a bad experience when I was here in April. I wrote about it but YELP placed my review in the Non-allowed pile. I am not sure but I think it's because I had not done many reviews and esp not many that were good. Since then I wrote more reviews and since my problems with Largent's [I wrote to them on Facebook] I have gotten a personal apology from the owner, Matt Largent, along with a gift card that reimburses the value that had been overcharged for wine. I plan to return soon to use it and give them another chance. The food I had that visit was good and I had said I enjoyed my time there. And I had hoped this place would shine through as a decent venue in the Kentlands. I do hope it's passed the curse of this location.

  • Pierre D.

Trying to shuck the infamous "Kentlands Curse" is a daring endeavor indeed. However, I hold firm that Largents will manage to be the exception. As other reviewers have mentioned the piece de resistance for Largents is the giant soft pretzel. Amazing. Sadly...This is where the effort crashes. Having wasted almost three hours at Largents waiting to receive my drinks, food, and bill I do not feel up for spending another moment stewing on the experience. While I wish them nothing but the best of luck I will never, under any circumstance, come back to this restaurant. As there are a wealth of options in the Kentlands I feel the opportunity cost of this establishment is too great.

I came here at 9:30 PM on a Tuesday night. There were less than 15 people upstairs and downstairs. Set at the bar upstairs our bartender took good care of us and actually worked at this location when it used to be Tony and James. I had the quesadillas and my boyfriend had the bacon cheeseburger. Would go again...

On the search of anything open after the 18+ inches snow storm, we pass through Kentlands to see that Largent's had several people upstairs and music playing. SOLD! The downstairs restaurant wasn't open, but we went to the backdoor to head upstairs to the bar area. Place was pretty busy, especially since nothing else was open in the Gaithersburg area. As you walk in, to the right is self-seating for the bar area with several TVs. The left side gave you the window area so you could see the street and a quieter atmosphere. We walked in and sat in the bar area to watch the Olympics. Most of the music being played was country and some pop on a Thursday night. Our waitress was nice. She knew a lot about the menu since they had their sampling on Sunday before their Grand Opening three days ago. Not being super hungry, we ordered two 22 ounce drinks, crab dip, and Scallops N Hash. Everything came out to be $46.00 for our order. The crab dip came out really hot in a mini-skillet with pita. I've had crab dip before in other places and this was probably my least favorite. It was watery and didn't have much crab in it. While the dip was hot, the scallop dish was warm. The food wasn't extremely terrible, but not super impressed or floored from just the two dishes. This location on the corner is notorious for not having the best of luck. I think I've been to this location for four different restaurants within a few years. Not sure if I'd request to come here again, but would come with friends if in the area and wanted a drink.

I tried to give Largent's a serious attempt as a place I would frequent especially because I live in the neighborhood. I typically order the chicken quesadilla. Pretty basic and somehow my order was wrong. Chef Michael made it the second time. I opened it when I got home and it looked like the size of a kids meal. $14 for the smallest quesadilla I have ever seen! Additionally, I drove back and asked to speak to Chef Michael about the inconsistency of the food. After waiting 15 minutes I quit and decided if it's not worth his time then I wouldn't waste another minute of mine. Ironically, he had time to deal with an issue with no music in the restaurant because his wife complained. It's truly unfortunate he chose this route to go. I won't spend another dollar in that place and neither will my friends. False promises on FOX news don't impress me. Only deserves one star because of the managers, bartenders, and wait staff.

Came here by a friends recommendation. Typical HH specials. $2 domestic draft/bottle specials until 7pm. Ordered nachos but really soggy than other bars. Bar staff attentive and friendly. Would probably come again since it's fairly new and HH specials are decent.

We live in the Kentlands and were so happy to see this place open. We always sit upstairs at the bar. I ordered the fish tacos and they were excellent! My husband loved the fish and chips. Oh and order the pretzel sticks to start with. Service however was not so great seeing that we were right at the bar. But we have been their four more times and service has been great! It's always hard at first owning a new business and finding good staff. I think Largents is about there. Give it a try! And if you were there when it first opened, give it another try! We need this place to survive in the Kentlands.

So Michael H gave such a pretty positive review, so much so that I had to go try Largent's myself. [woosah, open mind, positive thoughts] Party of 3 and we came here at 6pm when it was pretty quiet, so we were quickly seated. - Love that they had little flat screens at the booth to change the channel and watch what you want - Love the decor - Love the friendly staff - Crab dip - Came out warm (I really expect crab dip to come out piping hot), while the saucer it was sitting in was room temperature. There was too much cheese and too little crab; it came out so quick that I almost felt that they had prepared a bunch in advance. - Buffalo chicken flat bread - Everything was ok-done, but the bleu cheese, man was that a kick in the face. I know what bleu cheese tastes like and I actually don't mind the taste (like it in fact), but boy was this just too much going on all in one dish. - Chorizo Mac & Cheese - Crispy cheese topping, but it all tasted under-done (the sauce was super wet) and the pasta was wayyy mushy. - Fire & Spice Pasta - Let me just say this is the dish I ordered. The pasta was Completely overdone and mushy; half of the pasta came out all falling apart. My dish was so sparse I could see to the bottom of the large bowl. My parmesan topping looked like it was supposed to be melted but it really looked like it was day(s)-old parm slices. I'm saving the worst, I mean best, for last. My shrimp was bad, as in I ate a salty shrimp and then I tasted an ammonia after-taste when seafood isn't fresh. Did I mention I have a strong stomach and well, hey, bad shrimp left my body in a terrible way. Our waiter Did ask if everything was ok and I Did tell him the shrimp was bad (as in it Went bad). He did apologize and tried to offer a re-make of something else, but I had honestly been let down by the appetizer and my dish And my guests' that it was hard to want anything else. We asked for extra pita to try and finish the (cold) crab dip and we were (not told we would be) charged extra. So, you know, I didn't touch my food and then you are going to charge that extra dollar, really? It was all so comical I couldn't help but laugh....and as we were leaving, I could hear the couple behind us also complaining about the bad taste of the food and our waiter just looked completely helpless. My fam isn't as picky as I am; in fact, take two young college grads and you can see that they'll each pretty much anything, but even They said that they would not come back. So, decor is decent (1 star), customer service is great (1 star), but for Foodies, it won't be your cup of tea. I hope they really do better and break this spots "curse."

Not sure what is going on here...I hear they're hiring a new chef which is great. Please add to the menu...it was so boring and limited before. People want variety so we can come to your place no matter what were in mood for. Often times if I can't decide what I want, I'll order some sort of chicken sandwich (pretty standard right?). This place only offers a chicken salad sandwich. How about a grilled chicken club with avocado,or a blacked one with remoulade or something for goodness sake. I do have high hopes for this place, but please please expand your menu and make it interesting. Burgers were so thick they were never cooked the way you ordered either. You're getting there Largents....now just get the menu right.

Crab dip was sooo good, and they give you more pita bread/chips if you run out before finishing the dip! I got the fire and spice pasta which was okay, but I wish I ordered something else. I'll probably come another time.

First visit was last night. Good crowd, good energy. I was there for a happy hour so we just did drinks and apps. So thrilled to see someone give this location a real fighting chance. I think the addition of bathrooms on the main level is a really big deal, glad to see the investment. The upstairs is really transformed, too. Now it's more finished, inviting, and most importantly, crowded. I'm sure they'll open the upstairs windows that overlook the square when the weather improves. Should be lots of fun this summer. The staff we encountered was friendly and efficient. The apps we tried, wings, crab dip, hummus, all very good, really outstanding bar food. $2 beers at happy hour. Can't wait to go back for dinner and hopefully be able to add that 5th star!

Went with my family last night for dinner. No one greeted us at the host stand, but after a couple of minutes a server came up and showed us to a table. We ordered an appetizer, soups and entrees. The soup came before the appetizer. My son, daughter and I ordered the onion soup, which I had in the past and was quite good. When it came, it was lukewarm and pretty bland. The waitress asked how our soups were and I said it was bland. She apologized and asked if we wanted a different soup. My son asked for the crab soup (no crab in it and little crab flavor) and my daughter and I said no. The manager then came over and told us that the onion soup usually is good but that he had had some earlier in the day and thought it was bland. Two things from this: (1) if the manager knows the food is bland, and that it typically is much better, why do you serve it as opposed to fix it? and (2) when you replace the soup because it is bland, do you really then charge for the replacement soup which costs even more than the soup you replaced? Then my son ordered a beer and they brought over the wrong one, my daughter's salad came without the salad dressing advertised on the menu and my burger, which I ordered medium rare came out well done . And the waitress acknowledged as she brought over the burger that the few fries with it were stale and cold, but that she would bring over a new batch of them, which she eventually did. Really? Serve a few old and cold fries as a temporary measure until the "good" fries are ready? The meal was a disaster. The waitress tried to put on a brave face, saying the place was busy, but there were only 4 tables seated at the time. The check was almost $100 (including the 20 percent tip we left - the issues probably were management and not staff's fault). I think most of the meal should have been comped, or at least some acknowledgement that they were having a bad night. Instead, I was left feeling like they just wanted us and the other customers gone (the table next to us also complained about their burger). This restaurant was one of my go-to places in Kentlands, but that was the last time I go there. Too bad. The Ahi tuna appetizer is good as is the Crab Louis salad (according to my wife). But to be served old French fries, and soup that the management knows is inferior is too much. It shows a lack of care and respect for customers and really is unacceptable.

Had a really great night at Largents for the NCAA Championship game! They even had fun themed drinks for the game....I had the "Badger" and rooted for my team on their many large TVs. I am a frequent customer and I've always had wonderful service there and that night was no exception! The chef even came out to say "Hi" to us:) I also love their food but that night was the first night of their NEW menu.....we were very impressed! We started with the hush puppies and then I had the mussels and they were both delicious! My husband had the salmon burger and a friend ate the chili/garlic chicken wings. Everyone enjoyed their meal! I cannot wait to go back and try more things on their new menu. Although my team lost that night, my experience at Largents was a "WINNER!"

We had generally attentive service tonight. Our food was good, and came out in a timely manner. Pub food... Nachos, soup, burgers and sandwiches. They still have room for improvement. The chicken sandwich was average. We liked the atmosphere and for this type of restaurant, it wasn't too noisy. Overall, we enjoyed it and look forward to going back.
