Took the family to the Quince Orchard Road Jimmy John's last night. It was our first time at Jimmy John's, and it was exactly what we were looking for. Grandparents loved their food as did the little kids. We got five subs and all were delicious. The sub rolls were very fresh and the meats were particularly tasty. My mom got the thick whole grain bread which aligned with her diet, and it was so good the rest of us were jealous. We got the kids tuna Slims which was a good size for them. We should have gotten more bags of potato chips because they went quickly. One huge cookie was enough for the kids to split.

Ive been waiting for a long time for a Jimmy Johns to open in upper county ( Germantown, Gaithersburg, etc.) and my visit was worth the wait. I used to good to Jimmy Johns when i went to school in College Park. I usually get the #16 Club Lulu and add cheese to it. What an addictive product... The location in gaithersburg makes the same amazing subs as every other Jimmy Johns that i have visited. The staff was amazing and makes every visit fun and they know how to mix the fun with still being professional. When i went during lunch there was a line out the door and they still were able to take care of my sub with the speed they promise. I cant wait to go back tomorrow for my go to Club Lulu. Id recommend to anyone!!!

Usually I go to jersey mikes for my "premium -fast" subs. I've heard so much about them so being that I was in the neighborhood I figured today was the day. I was the first customer in the door and from order to pickup my interaction was "freaky fast." I ordered the gargantuan and thought it was really tasty. The bread was way better than JM's but the meats weren't as fresh. I also had their jalapeño chips which were pretty good. One thing that stood out was the amount of chips in the bag. It wasn't a bag of air with a few chips in it, it was a legit bag of chips. The only thing that keeps JJ from getting 5 stars is that the experience just seems rushed. I get that they pride themselves on speed but I wouldn't mind spending a couple of minutes to get a more personal experience.

I was highly disappointed with my sub. I got a Vito's and the capiola was missing. (Couldn't complain as I got it to go) So I basically got salami, provolone, lettuce, tomato and peppers. The tomatoes had refrigerator burn so I had to pull them out. The dressing was underwhelming and I wished I had asked for salt and pepper. The bread was really cold and didn't taste fresh. The staff was very friendly when I arrived so that was a plus. The soda machine was a hot mess. Missing lids, only a handful of straws. And finding napkins was impossible. I would go to subway any day of the week over this place and I'm not a fan of subway.

This was by far the worst sub I have ever eaten. I got a porker something rather, and the bacon was ice cold. The lettuce is yellow. The mayo was everywhere. Not to mention the guy forgot what kind if sandwich he just made for me, so he has to reopen it and run his grubby fingers through it. Never going back. McDonald's is infinitely better.. And that is really scary.. I would give this place 0 stars

I had been looking forward to the opening of Jimmy John's because I had (wrongly) assumed that it would be like Taylor's Gourmet...or even a Potbelly's. Instead, my husband and I were trying to decide if this was better or worse than Subways. Let me start from the beginning. As we got coffee this morning, we noticed that it was finally opened. So we resolved to come back for dinner. Excitedly, I order the #10 Hunter Club and my husband got a #14 Bootleggers Club with an add on of Avocado Spread. So a few things. First, the only cheese they have is Provolone. No Swiss, no cheddar...hell, not even American. Odd to only have one cheese choice, but we rolled with it. My sub was decent, but it wasn't anything special. The French bread was fresh and chewy, and the ingredients OK. But that was the thing - it was only "OK"...nothing to write home about. My husband had added on the Avocado Spread and we watched them make his sub...there were two quick small smears of the spread on the cheese. My husband said that he couldn't even taste the spread, even when he knew he was biting into a section that has the spread. Eh. Normally, this would have earned a forgettable 3 stars, but I had to downgrade a star because of the service. Don't get me wrong, no one was rude, but it was just so.......passive. This was opening day (or a few days after opening day), and after seeing signs for "rock stars" for hire, I was expecting a more proactive, excited staff. A good example of this is after taking a few bites, I realized that we didn't get napkins. I looked around and there were no napkin dispensers anywhere. We sat at the table closest to the register and we were one of two tables. I even loudly said to my husband that I needed napkins. No reaction. I went up and asked for napkins and one guy pointed to the counter at the far wall. I get there...and no napkins. He had to get some out. Eh. I know this sounds picky, but if the staff can't be excited when a shop first opens, then I really worry about the service as time goes on.

I had a sandwich from here that someone picked up for me, so I can't say much about the physical location. However, I will say that the sandwich was a total letdown. I ordered a veggie sub based on looking at the menu online and asked for sprouts, dijon mustard, and wheat bread. First off, apparently all Jimmy John's no longer have sprouts. If that's the case, why bother leaving it on the menu? Second, the dijon mustard was barely present in my sandwich. However, there was still more mustard in my sandwich than there was avocado spread - even though avocado is in the description of the sandwich online, there wasn't a bit in mine. Lastly, I was expecting a SUB and I got a SANDWICH. As in sliced bread. I assume this is because I asked for wheat instead of bread, but doesn't Jimmy John's carry wheat sub bread? I know that Subway does... I've never been to a Jimmy John's before, so maybe this is standard for this chain and I just wasn't aware of it. I also thought my sandwich tasted okay (plenty of cheese, crunchy cucumbers, fresh tomato, etc.) but am just confused about how many things went wrong with it. For these reasons, I could be convinced to eat here again, but it won't be happening anytime soon.

I don't get the buzz for this place? I got the #3 Totally Tuna and the bread was dry and hard. There was barely any mayo or dressing on it. The tuna salad itself was so bland and devoid of flavor (and I am a big tuna salad fan) that I had to "fix" the sandwich with salt and pepper and extra mayo when I brought it home. If this is a health food thing, then it's definitely not my thing. Another Yelper quoted the old Wendy's slogan, where's the beef? My first visit to Jimmy John's and I am wondering...where's the flavor?

Kinda sounds like a portable john company. Anyways, I've had Jimmy Johns in Chicago for the first time years ago and it was good, so was excited to grab an Italian sub. Went on one of those snowy days where nobody ventured out on the roads. I really love Italian subs and my favorite is from Jersey Mikes and Casapullos in Rehoboth beach. So when I got the sub, I thought it was not done yet. Like Wendy's slogan where's the beef, where's the meat?! It was there but biting into it, all I could taste was the lettuce. Maybe this was a veggie version and they just messed up my order. Asked them, and nope it was an Italian sub! I'm no Italian sub expert but I do like to taste the combination of the Italian meats with a smaller portion of lettuce, tomato, dressing and some hot peppers. Definitely not satisfying at all! Ruined my craving and crushed my appetite for the rest of the night. I had to drive by a KFC to grab their new popcorn chicken that was a total ripoff! Cuz KFC popcorn chicken was so bad, I then had the craving for the Taiwanese fried chicken at Asia Taste/Jumbo Jumbo which I got the next day and was delicious. Jimmy johns ruined my Italian sub craving which pushed me to get Taiwanese fried chicken. Thanks...I guess?

Wow!!!!! Amazing subs .... I tried the #11 country club and was soooo fresh and good ... Friendly staff and cool ambiance ..... A must try for all sandwich lovers

Jimmy John's - yum! My favorites are the Vito and Turkey Tom. Save room for a whole pickle and chocolate chunk cookie.

I give them 2 1/2 stars wasnt nothing special, taste like a homemade plain sandwich. .... i will not be coming back here..... so far personally jersey mikes subs are the best subs around

Love Jimmy Johns. New location near the Starbucks in Firstfield Shopping Center. Met the owner and his wife. Very nice location, food was super fresh and staff was really friendly. Surprised to see them at this location as I had not heard it was opening, but glad they are there!

Always great subs, many choices, but I have my fave and alwaysfriendly staff!! I've never had a problem with their service.. I love their hot peppers and always ask for extra. The only downfall is not being able to buy a jar of them to go.. I want to say, good job
(5)Michael S.
Good subs.. good service. Four stars because they are everything you expect in a sub deli establiahment. Nothing really exceptional or stand out. But great sandwiches

I've been a long time jimmy johns customer, from when we got our first store in Rockford Illinois, years ago! And when I moved here a year ago, I was a little disappointed that there wasn't one near me. You can ask my wife, when I saw the sign that said "jimmy johns, coming soon" I was so excited! The fresh bread, the delicious deli meat and cheese and fresh veggies, not to mention the free smells! I couldn't wait! I went in shortly after opening day(may have even been opening day) and got my usual #9 Italian night club, add hot peppers, and since they were still likely training it took a little longer for my sandwich to be ready than usual, but it was just as delicious as ever! Since then, every time I have paid them a visit, the subs have come out freaky fast, just as advertised, and they keep getting more delicious!

The delivery was freaky fast! Staying at a hotel near the location and this was my first Jimmy Johns experience. I ordered the totally tuna, thinny chips, and an unsweet iced tea. Everything was tasty.

Not a fan. The Sandwich was cold and tasted like it had been made hours before. The staff was as cold as the sandwich.
(1)Michael D.
They don't know the difference between a club and a sub. No napkins offered. I won't go back!
(1)Keith A.
Not a fan. Service was not as fast as promised, options were too limited (only one cheese option, could not toast). Subway wins out, sorry JJ
