Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

This place is one of those places you go to when you're craving some good ole Chinese food in the area. The food is good, price is good, and the portion size is good as well! I've tried many dishes over the years but a few of my favorite I have listed below. Now, don't let the location deter you though. If you're looking for great food at a great price, this is it! RECOMMENDATIONS: * Orange Chicken (I don't even like Orange Chicken that much but theirs is pretty good. Huge chunks and delicious!) * Shrimp Fried Rice / Lo Mein (Cold lo mein is the best haha #DontJudge) * Crispy Beef * Beef Cho Cho (Marinated Beef of a Stick) * Triple Delight * Salt & Pepper 2 Kind (Shrimp & Scallops) * Pepper Steak

This place does everything right. The soups taste exactly as they should. Egg drop is the right thickness and not too sweet. Hot and Sour is spicy enough to give great flavor, not too thick, and seasoned well. The portions on their specials are generous. Beef and broccoli tastes exactly as it should, kung pao chicken, szechuan chicken, and other spicy dishes are great. Hard to find a bad dish hear. They do great take out and delivery service. But their dine-in isn't bad either. Plenty of tables, rarely anyone else here, so you will probably have the place to yourself. Attentive service with water and hot tea included.

Moo goo gai pan. Mild and plentiful. Szechuan chicken. Spicy. Enough food for three meals. Heavy handed on oil and msg. But tasty.

Just got my order for delivery and the entire order was messed up i don't have time to go out and make them fix it. I even had the guy reread the order to me. Their organization is piss poor but the food in general is good.

My family has been getting delivery from them for a decade. I love their food, and am rarely disappointed when I try something new off their large menu. They had a lull a few years back where the sauces were all very similar and sometimes we were underwhelmed, but for the past 3 years or so, they must have got a new chef, cause everything is perfect. Do pay attention to the coupons on their menus, they offer extras (free general tao's on $40 order, etc). Seriously love this place. We may have first patronized this place because it was the only place that would deliver out to Laytonsville, but now that I live in Derwood, and can get delivery from lots of places, I keep going back to Hunan.

I have gallivanted over here on two separate occasions. One time we ordered the vegetable lo mein. It was good for vegetable lo mein. I mean, what more could one expect when ordering vegetable lo mein? It's all the same. It was great. The portions were huge. Another time, we ordered the broccoli and snowpeas; however, they gave me the wrong order. I'm clumsy so I didn't double check what was inside the bag. I also trust people and do not want to make them feel marginalized for distrusting them. It's like locking your car doors when African Americans approach. One time in 1972 my Grandma did that, and they politely and matter-of-factly assured her that they were not planning to rob her. Then she felt awful about herself, and even to this day, 41 years later, she feels bad about that incident. Therefore, I have learned to trust people! Look for the best in people, and you will find love! Anyways, this restaurant gave me chicken with vegetables. I don't eat animals because I'm better than you. Just kidding! Yeah so then I gave the meal away to my neighbor because I do not want to drive back to Hunan and contribute more greenhouse gases to the atmosphere just so I can eat snowpeas for dinner.

Nasty miserable food. We have a tradition in my family on Xmas eve, of ordering Chinese and eating in. I ordered tofu shezuan ( of which they made with silken, not firm tofu. blech!) and shrimp lo mein. Hard to f' up right? Well they did. Dry crunch nasty rice, raw tofu and shrimp with shell on. Thanks for ruining a great tradition with your lousy, disgustingly pathetic excuse for edible "food". Happy holidays.

Great restaurant. The food is always delicious and hot and the people there are very friendly. It's family owned. My favorite is the Kung pao chicken. They will customize an order for you if you ask (more chicken, add shrimp, no vegetables). They're great.

I don't have high standards for take-out Chinese food. I know that it's Americanized and euthanized and generally of a certain quality. I like that kind of food. I've eaten a lot of it. This place just completely fails to deliver an ok version of what is already questionable food. I got the Szechuan beef, mind you from a place that says right on the window "specializes in Hunan and Szechuan cuisene," and it was terrible. The "beef" was breaded and sauced and indistinguishable from any other limp protein and tasted like the seasoning on a Cup of Noodles, only spicy. The fried rice was bland and unappealing and actually could have used some salt and how on earth that's possible when you're dealing with the most notoriously sodium laden food in the country is a mystery to me. Oh and the pictures on Yelp are very helpful, because they show the restaurant as empty, which is what it was when I got there at 8pm on a Friday night. With approximately 150 other places available to go in a 5 mile radius, don't go here.

A real hole in the wall...Was it even real beef or tofu I ate!?! Don't know what to tell you...Had to get my car repaired over at Zimmerman's so I went here for lunch. I walked in and was pleasantly reminded of the run-down cafes I used to eat at when on the road. I figured I'd go ahead, and sure enough the price was correspondingly low. Well, what doesn't kill you can only inform you, right? I ordered pepper steak and won ton soup. The soup was okay, which is fine by me. But I was puzzled by what passed for pepper steak: Normally, *actual* meat (even low-grade meat) has some chew to it. You can feel your teeth tear through the meat a bit, even the softest kinds of steak. This stuff, however, you bit right through, almost like beef-flavored pasta...or tofu. There was no fat, nothing to indicate it was really meat.I know what it was I ordered.. Well...I finished up, paid, and left. Overall the experience was OK. The food was cheap enough (under $7 for what I ordered), the place was quiet, and the family members weren't pushy, they're pleasant. Yes, those are positives. And with that in mind I wouldn't have a problem going back. But it's far from a good/great restaurant. I don't mean to be a jerk--and I'm not being one--but this is a place you go to kill your hunger pangs, not to enjoy the finer aspects of Hunan cooking. Or any kind of cooking.

Great Chinese food!! It's a small family run joint, usually order takeout. They are very friendly and the food is fairly priced. Would definitely go back again.

I have called them repeatedly and asked them to stop placing menus on my door. They are rude when I request it, and they will not respect my property. They will never have my business. Wow. More than a year after my original post, and the place still refuses to respect my property. Menus were left on my door while I was out of town, which in turn invited home invaders. I have contacted your landlord, the HBW Group, since you refuse to respect the regulations of my community, which specifically state "no soliciting."

This is my absolute FAVORITE Chinese restaurant in Gaithersburg when we first moved to the area 20 years ago we would come here and to this day we still enjoy dinner here with my family either delivered or at the restaurant. They also are inexpensive for catering I have had them cater my sweet 15, 10 years ago and my college graduation they are the best out here and if you go order they're Combination Pan Fried Noodles. Trust you won't be disappointed
