Fantastic little deli! Great hot subs with toasted buns, great Gyros also. Don't pass this place by. It is located in the bottom office building.

I come here occasionally as part of my lunch rotation. Usually the food is fine, but today I had a terrible experience. I ordered a Montgomery wrap. After 15 minutes of waiting (along with others), my food was given to the wrong person. His was brought out and then they realized the mistake. They quickly remade my wrap but forgot the bacon and it was sloppily made. The chicken salad was also bland and watery. Will maybe try again, but this is certainly not what anyone expects coming to a deli to receive both quick service and quality food.

The reviews made me hope for more, a lot more. The food here is not my cup of tea, and in fact, I wish I had ordered more to comment on more, because, I do not wish to ever return. They have vegan food like meatballs, fake chicken, burgers (3 types of patties, one is Boca) and steak, all of which I imagine is from a local grocery store's frozen food section. In a nutshell, this place charges me for food that I could make on my own without being awake or knowing what I am cooking or even doing. It's fine for the home cook to make sandwiches like this and drag it to your weekday lunch, but to charge for it, though not a high price, well, it doesn't make me very happy. Let me state that the vegan food isn't terrible, though my sandwich was toasted so the bread was black in certain parts.... but it tastes like they just wanted to make some vegan options but didn't realize that vegan frozen meat substitutes tastes horrible just heated in the microwave with generic sauce/garnish/ condiments on top and placed on a plate for you. The salad choices are not vegan, but you could conceivably ask them to build you one with iceberg lettuce and the vegetables they have (avocado, mushroom, onion, tomato, bell peppers), but they will probably charge you about $8-9 for it because several of those ingredients seem to be "premium" $0.50 additional charge for their presence in your food. They have fried items like french and sweet potato fries, but, given the small scale of this operation, I would bet that they fry it with the other food items, so the flavors probably carry over to negatively impact the fries. So, if you need a vegan sandwich because you're here and are not allowed to go anywhere else, ok, you'll survive, but you will probably need something healthful and tasty every meal for the next week to make up for the insult to your palate and health here. If you are happy with vegan junk food that you can make on your own but are too lazy to do so, then, you will be very happy here. However, for the non-vegans, this place was very popular for its size and location. People just keep coming in for the sandwiches on white bread with iceberg lettuce and cheese/ mayo/ meat, etc. So, maybe it's great for non-vegan eating, but......... I can't comment on that.

My coworker and I went there for lunch. I am vegan so I was interested in trying their vegan menu. I was not disappointed! I got the vegan steak and cheese sub with seasoned fries. The fries were incredibly delicious and so was the sub. I will certainly be going back. They had good prices too!

They have a new menu with many great items! If you go around lunchtime it may be super busy but totally worth the wait. (They make the best reuben sandwiches..)

Great customer service. The young lady had many recommendations. I thought there could have been more bacon as well as turkey but all in all a clean sandwich. I will probably try a hot sad witch next time.

I'm a vegan, and finding a deli with more than a couple of options for me is rare. Firehouse offers tons of vegan meats and cheeses, and they even have suggestions for sandwiches. Some of their fake meats and cheeses are a bit gross -- I'd stay away from the corned beef -- but it's easy to get a simple, delicious vegan or vegetarian meal here.

I had an awesome turkey club from Firehouse yesterday. I ordered pick up for me and a few co workers in the office and each sandwich was around 5-6 dollars, of coarse mine was $7.75 due to extras, overall I plan on eating here regularly when ordering lunch. The turkey was oven roasted and not dry at all, the extra mayo might have also helped. Croissant clubs are my favorite sandwiches with B.L.T.P, (p for provolone) toasted to warm perfection. Might I also add I have a thing for banana peppers with a sprinkle of salt & pepper on top?

Great establishment, large selection on menu and very courteous staff. There is a wide variety of drinks and chips as well. The food tastes great, and fries as freshly made for each order. A new favorite place to eat.

This is a great authentic deli. Big menu, fresh ingredients, fast service, friendly and fair prices. There are so many crap "beer, wine, delis" around us that it's nice to find a place you can trust to make you a solid sandwich. The sandwich sizes are fair, what you'd make at home. It isn't going to be one of those huge sandwiches that you have trouble finishing, but they also don't charge $10 for a sandwich. If you're still hungry get a second serving or a bowl of homemade soup. It's a great place that does not have a front that would draw you in. I've driven past this place for years and I'm glad I finally stopped. I'll be a regular now for sure. There were a handful of small tables inside, a lunch counter to eat at, and three large tables outside. I felt like a tuna melt today so they grilled one up for me and it was perfect. Very good tuna fish that wasn't heavy on the mayo or celery taste. Perfect. I tried the MD crab soup which was also good. I saw someone else order one of the salads and that looked fresh and well sized. Give it a try. If you like a good deli, you won't be disappointed! They take pride in their food.

My sandwich was pretty bland and tasteless. Stingy portions, and half a pickle. Einstein bagels down the street is much better.

The is a great little place with an extensive menu that you can look at online. The food quality is fresh and the owner is super nice. They even bring food to your table, but I did go on a slow day. My only complaints are that the tables weren't cleaned off, the place is small so you can really only fit one to two people to each of the six tables they have inside, and the chairs aren't the most comfortable. There is some outdoor seating but when it's cold or raining, this isn't an option. The parking is free and plentiful which you don't always find in a business park. I'd say this is worth a grab-and-go or for catering. Great, fresh quality. No complaints on the food. Also, there is a huge selection of drinks, including coconut juice! Too bad this place isn't bigger. The menu size and drink selection would make you think the place is five times the size!

What brought us here: I noticed it when visiting my doc in the tall building next to the deli. First impressions: Definitely a deli. The food-preparers and owner/manager (?) seemed to still be working out some kinks in communication and food-prep, but I didn't find service slow or discourteous. What I ordered: I took a look at their menu online before arriving because it is has a BIG selection of hot and cold sandwiches. I ordered my favorite sandwich, the corned beef Reuben and a side of their Maryland crab soup. Seemed like many others were ordering this soup too. The bread on the Reuben was perfectly toasted/grilled. Not too oily or too crunchy. The corned beef wasn't fatty or too dry. It also wasn't too salty (I hate that). This Reuben could rival, maybe even beat, the one served at Dogfish, which I also frequent. The sandwich comes with a small pickle. The Maryland crab soup was also hot when served. It was filled with crab flavor, though no whole chunks of crab, just strands/bits of crab throughout it. The soup had a wonderful spicy kick to it. I'd definitely order it again. I shared a side of onion rings with my hubs. They also came out hot and crispy. A bit under-seasoned though. Verdict: I'd definitely return for the Reuben and Maryland crab soup! No onion rings/fries needed to fill me up!

This place is great for all your sandwich needs. My favorite sub is the Caribbean, which is ham, home made pork roast and provolone....it's so good! I've also had their shrimp salad sandwich which was decent, and their chicken parmesan sub which was okay. Definitely stick to the homemade items on the menu, they're the tastiest.

I ate here with 4 co-workers and we all left unimpressed. The sandwiches were small, served on sliced bread you could buy at the grocery store, served on a cheap paper plate. I didn't feel like the food was very fresh and that they needed to toast the sandwich to hide the lack of freshness. I ordered the Caribbean sub and was expecting a sandwich with some flavor, but it was quite bland--basically just a toasted turkey sandwich. We're not planning to go back.

Firehouse is an unassuming little place overshadowed by the Remax building on 6 Montgomery Village Ave. You could easily walk or drive past it and never know it was there. And I do believe they've been around for many years. The ingredients they use are as fresh as they could possibly get. And there is just a ridiculously diverse number of toppings, condiments, cheeses, sauces and breads to choose from to pimp your sandwich out with. I momentarily contemplated a liverwurst stuffed pita bread with brie cheese... Then I came to my senses and ordered a pastrami on rye with spicy mustard and mayo ($6.25). I took one bite and had a food-gasm. The only downside (if there is one) is the lack of seating. This place gets crowded and there isn't a whole lot of space. But since I quite literally live down the street this isn't much of a downside for me. ME LIKEY FIREHOUSE! ME LIKEY FIREHOUSE!

This place is a hidden treasure on montgomery village, they have a huge selection on their menu. I ordered the sub/sandwich platter that fed up to 25 people...the sandwiches were amazing it varied from turkey, roast beef, tuna and ham. Everyone raved about how good the sauce and cheese were, they dont skimp on the amount of meat in their sandwiches either. The soups are really good as well! Staff is overly friendly, Prices are great, not too high...just right. Oh one last thing, in the spring/summer or when its in the 60s or 70s make sure to take a seat outside and enjoy the yummy meal!!!!

Food is good, solid. Miss my old Brooklyn corner store deli and this place satisfied my fix. Only difference is this place is super clean. Owner is really friendly. Will definitely be back. Thank you.

The staff is very friendly, and they remember you quickly. The pastrami is fresh in from NYC, and the mustard is flavorful. They do great deli sandwiches in a friendly manner. That's all I want in a lunchtime deli.

Came across this place by accident and glad I did. As someone else noted the owner is VERY friendly and although I came in to look sold me on trying the food. Glad I did. Pulled Pork and Pastrami was delicious and VERY reasonably priced. They do catering as well so if I ever need a party platter I will certainly use them! Plenty of free, convenient parking as well.
