We had just gotten home from the Polar Bear Plunge and a crazy 3 hour long drive home (silly snow!). After showering and uploading videos from the outing, we realize that we were famished. My husband suggests trying the new Domino's redesigned pizza...and upon realizing that I would get an FTR if we did, I happily agreed. The pizza was good, definitely less greasy then I remembered, and I'll agree that it was tasty (although, it could be from the hunger). However, this review isn't really about the new pizza (i feel that pizza is one of those subjective things, everyone has a different opinion on thickness of crusts, sweetness of sauce, amount if cheesiness, etc). So, what made this Domino's worthy of 4 stars? The customer service. The woman who answered was chipper and seemed glad I called. She clearly repeated the specials, and didn't give me attitude or even hint at impatience (although I could hear phones going off like crazy in the background). When the delivery guy showed up, he was early and was friendly without being creepy. Not 100% sure if I like this pizza more then Papa Johns, but I definitely like the service so much more.

I walked in and know one would acknowledge me, after about 1 minute I walked out. I counted 5 workers. Just poor customer service.

Dominos never fails to satisfy at a reasonable price. My go to pizza place for big events where a lot of pizza is needed. Or cheap pizza that still tastes good. When fresh, the seasoning and cheese is amazing. The only negative is sometimes the drivers will get very mad if you don't tip "enough"

I ordered a pizza to be delivered just 2 minutes before they closed. Yep... I'm "that guy". Despite being pulled over by the police on his way to my house (presumably to get my pizza to me as soon as humanly possible), the delivery man was kind, joyful, and positive. I apologized for the late order, and he simply laughed it off and said he was happy to come out. Needless to say, I was happy to tip him $10, so it was a win/win! When I ordered from this store last week, the delivery man figured out how to get into my building (which has "too much security" - his words) and brought it right to my door with a smile on his face. Impressive, considering I very much agree with his sentiments. Well Domino's... I'm impressed. You've won my business for the foreseeable future. So long, Papa John's. It's been real, but Dominos has got delivery DOWN. Great job guys. Side note: To "Ben G", who wrote a scathing and pathetic review on Aug 16 of 2014... Dude... Are you bring serious right now? You "accidentally" tipped the guy $1 (I say accidentally because you meant to tip him nothing, you cheap hack) and then have the gall to complain about the service (complete with public whining and threats)? Damn man... Speaking as a veteran, I have to tell you that it's people like YOU that make many veterans wanna shoot themselves after they get home - and I'm being completely serious. SHAME. ON. YOU.

Let me start out that by giving this one star it is not because the pizza was substandard or anything like that. The pizza we ordered was good and typical of what I would expect from a Domino's franchise. The problem here is a people problem. A problem of ethical conduct. We ordered a pizza (8/15) which totaled $18.91 per the order taker on the phone for home delivery. I gave my son the money to provide to the delivery person when they arrived. Upon delivery my son answered the door (I was in bed, sick) and from my sons account the guy says nothing and literally pushed the pizza box into my son's hands and said he owed him $19.00. My son gave the guy a $20 and the dude got real irate, ranting about dollar tip and such. My son tried to talk to the guy but he stormed off. My viewpoint on this is the delivery guy stole $1.09 from us. My viewpoint is also that this is ethics/principle/customer service and not dollar amount. My son came up to my bedroom and told me about it, I called the store asked for the manager and a guy came to the phone claiming to be the manager. It was immediately clear to me after talking to him for less than 30 seconds that I was being annoying to him however he told me he would send a guy out to give us the change we were due. Around 15 minutes later a dominoes guy pulled into our driveway where my sons and I were already waiting. I am pretty good about body language and this guy was displaying aggressive behavior in both body and verbal actions (I am former Law Enforcement and trained to ascertain this type behavior) although not in an overt manner. For example; the guy flung his car door open and exited in a somewhat aggressive way then slamming his car door closed, another example is his way he engaged me in conversation as if he was sticking up for the behavior of the delivery driver. He stated numerous time that "well the driver could have made a mistake, people make mistakes, people make mistakes". That statement is all fine and good but when he stares intently into my own eyes as he tells me this multiple times my experience tells me he is trying to influence my response to the situation. I then told him that the fact the driver left without giving us our due change that constituted theft and incredulously he tried to defend those actions. I mean really, why fight it and why not give us our change we are due? (it is really weird to me that people will risk law enforcement involvement over $1.09) At this time my son chimed in and basically said that you know "I am a christian and I know that it was wrong what this guy did" etc etc. At that the guy just basically shut up and relinquished the change we were due. (Domino's we have recorded the encounter) Here is the kicker, I didn't count the change until we got back inside our home and he gave us $1.08 not the $1.09 we were due. I wasn't even going to count it until my son asked me to. My son and I both busted a gut at that. So like I said before the pizza was good, as good as any pizza you would get at a Dominoes franchise. But what you really need to worry about at this Domino's Pizza location at Flower Hill Way is that the delivery drivers WILL rip you off and YOU must be careful because the other drivers will cover for the others. I have said this in other postings here on Yelp - waiters/waitresses and delivery drivers see YOU as sheep and will take advantage of you if you let your guard down. Buyer beware. FWIW - any Domino's managers/regional managers feel free to contact me to see the video we shot of our encounter before we release to YouTube.
